Snowdonia! - Beautiful North Wales on Suzuki Vstrom 650
It's raining... Let the conversation begin We are starting now This will be a short one day ride Towards Snowdonia. You might have heard about it. It's a famous spot in Wales.
Yesterday, we were thinking of going to Bristol. Changed the plans at the last minute. There are a few routes. We will explore on the way. For the first time, we woke up a bit early today.
Banu woke up at 5 a.m. for a change. Let's ride. I will update more on the road. I think we've been riding for about an hour, and it's a bit too cold today. How's the cold? It's okay.
Got cold now? I got a bit scared, thinking there might not be enough air in the tire. But it looks fine. Didn't bring the air pump. I'm carrying everything else, even the jumper cables. Last week, the battery got drained, and the bike wasn't starting. The problem is you can't go to just any mechanic like in India.
It costs too much here. So, I did some googling and got all the tools online, like a battery charger, altimeter, etc. It's also good that I'm learning stuff now. Earlier, I never bothered to learn about the mechanics, which is nice.
As of now, I've charged the battery, but it is a 9-year-old battery. It's nice for now, but... ill probably change it. Its time. Okay Banu? All good? For the hills you will have to go towards Wales or Scotland We have come to the wales, its just like 2 hours from our place. Now my fingers can feel the cold now Last time we were complaining about sun and today about cold But nice to ride in this region It drizzled a while ago. Hopefully it wont rain today.
Weather was showing like it will be cloudy with light showers. This is so beautiful Feels like in the sets of Harry Potter movie Its beautiful! What a landscape! Beautiful landscape isnt it? Careful Hope the stand wont bury in the mud What a beautiful location More than the location this route is so awesome Even the route that came in between the forest So beautiful See this frame So many places like this and we are stopping everywhere There are still lot of places to see This looks like the start of the ascent If you rode the Leh you are familiar with this. Like place looks even better than the last stop I am guessing its the same here. We stopped here seeing the rain ahead. All the cars coming from that side are drenched in rain Its still raining ahead but its moving to the other side.
We are waiting here because we cant ride in rain like in India Its too cold in the rain to ride here It started drizzling now here. Looks like its getting cleared there. So we will wait for a while here. Was just following one route, anyway we can skip that too There is another route to this side.
We didnt wear any winter layer thinking it wont be that cold So its just the jacket and liner inside. Carried raincoat if it rains Now we are realising it wont be enough for the cold We should have got our thermals or fleece Banu got her thermals We found a hotel, its raining heavily outside. We took a break in that hotel since it was raining Rain stopped now Not wearing winter gloves? Winter gloves is too irritating to wear so back to trail gloves.
Buy a winter gloves thats not irritating to wear. I was looking online to find the routes to ride in Snowdonia Someone gave a route in a forum So following that route in the gpx viewer Is this the indian restaurant? Is this an Indian restaurant? Yes But its closed now, it will open after 5 I saw that name and turned back... Is it Swapna or Sopna? In Bengali it is Sopna but Swapna in rest of the languages Oh! its Bengali restaurant? Yes. Where are you from?

Yeah we are kind of roaming around north wales, saw name and thought interesting Come anytime you are this side. We will definitely come. After removing the battery recently, my odo switched from Miles to Kms. I am getting confused between the speed limits. These are all 60MPH limit..
oh that means i cant go above 96kmph 70 means.. 112 30MPH means.. 48kmph and 40 means 64kmph Remember it Banu Im getting confused. Not sure how to reset it back to MPH too.

Same like they remove it in India lol I think we get our slate from here only. This is a quiet town Its so beautiful Light is bit low now so may not be clean oh its clean, camera wasnt focused. You are wearing nice Rynox winter jacket, mine is mesh Thats a nice advertisement for Rynox We reached and it was around 8.30PM Took bath and now its around 9:30 in the night UK dont get dark until 10:30 in the night this season We had a ritual of eating Kushka and kebab after every ride.. Now here it is fried chicken In bangalore we always used to take kushka kebab parcel Only fried chicken here has some proper spicy taste Now to eat and watch some series to end the day This video will end here.
