Haunted Mansion is GETTING work DONE! | Disneyland Construction 11/11/2024
that's a tree we've got a Christmas tree it's happening now also happening now is the imminent completion of the Hott and Mansion gift shop and some amazing views of the rear Queue at the Haunted Mansion outside and in plus lots more updates from all around the park everything is coming together this is our weekly construction update from the dis Resort and let's get started out in the espod with the latest on the new turn Styles and of course that latest is pretty much nothing we're on week five now if I have this correct week five of these farle turn Styles being behind construction walls and there's you know no I we can't see what's happening so we don't know how far along they are but I didn't think it was going to take five weeks to do whatever it is that they're doing there so that uh we're still waiting for that to happen let's get inside the park and where we see it at the open turn Styles they have installed the Christmas snowflakes that's a great sign love to see that inside the park we'll take a look at the Dison railroad it is still behind scrim although it's the orange scrim now and not the go away green scrim that we saw before so we can see some of the details of what's Happening behind that scrim and I mean it looks nice looks like the classic Main Street station for the Dison railroad it's encouraging from the Town Square side there's no scrim at all it's just the scaffolding so we get a real clear view uh now the the attraction has been closed for something like the past four days or it had been when we recorded this it was closed when we arrived on this morning on Friday uh this was due to a combination of the high winds the San Ana winds that have been blown through the state for a little while Southern California anyway and the ongoing construction so they just wanted to make sure that everything you know was safe and they didn't want to let guest in there but the winds had ended on this Friday and we were told that uh the train would be opening later that day and sure enough you know we went forward a little bit this is later in the afternoon when we're shooting our our coverage from The Mark Twain and I observed again that there was no trains on the track I'm like gosh we never did get it and then all of a sudden before I got back to the uh station there it is there's the Disneyland real God that looks beautiful doesn't it guys there are moments at Disneyland when you just look at a scene like good Heavens what have they done this is one of those moments this is one of my favorite when the when the Mark Twain turns around the river and you get that movement especially when there's a canoe in the water fantastic and a train oh my gosh that's price of admission for me right there so the train has reopened uh they were taking guests by the end of the day let's get back out to the main entrance where we can see that they have removed the Halloween decor at the floral Mickey at the entrance um bringing in the new Christmas and we'll take a look at Town Square where the flag pole has the poinsettas I think those are poinsettas I can't tell through this image I so they are getting ready to evolve the park down up and down Main Street in Town Square there's a gorgeous Christmas wreath there they're so nice I love looking at these it's the same ones they do every year but it makes me so full of Happiness when I see these look at that she's a be Clark uh the Planters have been updated they they took out the orange and yellow florals from before for Halloween so far we got some White and a little bit of red in there I don't know if this is the final form I would have hoped for a little bit more color here but they look nice no tree yet though there's the uh top of town square where they they're going to be putting the tree there probably by the time you see this I'm guessing the tree will be there but we had another Reef in the horr street car coming into view there and then Reese up and down as we mentioned Main Street beautiful side we haven't had any Garland yet no Garland though I I I feel like Christmas at Disneyland on Main Street isn't complete until they've got Garland until they got gar crossing the street uh but it looks really nice uh and you know right now we're getting regular music but uh when that Christmas music starts playing Niagara Falls it's a be and then one final view where by the time we shoot this next week we will see the Glorious magnificent Christmas tree here at Town Square meanwhile the castle has got more of its decorations previously we saw just the snowcapped spires and the icicles this week we have the the Reese and the ornamented Garland adorning all over the castle looks great from all angles and uh you know it's going to look even better when the lights are off and everything is sparkling and twinkling we we are as I record this we are less than a week away from the first day of the Christmas season we'll keep on that theme go to small world where we've got uh the clock has got the Santa hat on it which is always nice they're ready the lights the Christmas lights have been installed not just the strings but now they they've actually installed the bulbs here's some of the classic small world decorations the Garland the white garland that they put all over so far it's just in that spot and then you can see a little bit over the wall uh on these construction walls at small world and you can also see where they've got their light bulbs installed as well small is just about there also opening on Friday the 15th the scrim and scaffold is down by the way first time we've seen that in a while scrim and scaffold is down we have a permit by the way we're still not certain what it is they're doing at small world but we have this permit construction wants to create powered electronic room closets with dimmer tracks I don't know if that's the reason why things have been down mechanical to condition the rooms but I mean we're just a week away so maybe this is separate from what we've been seeing them do up until now and then electrical to change out lights to LED fixtures with structural supports that's all backstage I'm pretty sure again I don't know if that's exactly related to what we've been seeing but that is a new development on the permit uh website for small world while we're here at the fantasy land theater they've got the walls back up because they are in installing the new Christmas uh uh party I guess you know kind of like the Pixar Fest style party we' got new decorations on the walls there uh they're getting ready for that that's going to be you can meet Santa here I don't know if that means you're GNA not be able to meet Santa in other places like uh like PUK Corner we'll have to wait and see if P Corner's gonna also you know they would have that set up by now I'm betting there's going to be no s at P corner just or yeah at P corner just keep that in mind when you're going to dland I think your chance to meet Santa will only be here at the fantasy land theater at Disneyland there will be a Santa meet and greet obviously at Redwood Creek challenge at DCA as well let's go to Fantasy Land and see what's happening there is one of my favorite places to go uh just to feel the vibe everything is working look at that empty queue there for Matt tea party how delightful those guys are just going to walk right on things look great here in fantasy land a I was on the hunt for Christmas decorations I I I want to say I don't remember noticing were these here before they've got some Garland up here at Pinocchio's uh also some Garland and some interesting decorations there at the entrance to Snow White and uh even uh Peter Pan I saw this about a week ago Garland up there at the threshold there is this new have I've been blind to this in previous years even red rose Tavern it's got some uh Garland hanging there it looks great it's literally a red rose in the Garland I love it and while I was here I was like you know what let's go see what else we can find I found Pinocchio Pinocchio was enjoying King Arthur's car and then he got excited because he saw Burt and Mary doing their thing there I mean I would get excited too I get excited when I see Burt and Mary on the carousel so uh I just I I thought I would just stop a moment and enjoy the magic that is Pinocchio greeting guest oh no look jetto jepetto's like what are you doing you got you got loose Pinocchio we're running around we can't you're going to wind up in the belly of a whale a they're so cute together I love those two my gosh you guys I can't I'm dying all oh there they are again okay let's see if we can say hi to Pinocchio and jepetto Pinocchio hi Pinocchio hello japeto that's quite literally why we go to Disneyland keep your e tickets keep your Tron rise and all that give me Pinocchio and too and fantasy every time and I would like to at this point invite you guys Mansion gift shop apologies for the sunlight in this shot or in these shots I shot this much later in the day than I normally do so we got back lit unfortunately but look at that man they have been cranking they're working day and night day and night on this Haunted Mansion gift shop there there there's definitely some sort of deadline or agenda because this is the fastest that I've ever seen them work on anything uh you know while I've been watching construction but you can see that they have finished the the the sighting on the building is finished the lamps are installed the roof is complete last week when we were here just that tiny little corner of the gift shop was was complete just a small little section now the entire roof has been adorned with the uh with the shingles we can also see that they have hung what I believe to be the sign the entrance sign for this gift shop it's going to be a Madame Leota themed gift shop it's covered but you can see some brass I think that's brass there the little uh design element there through the through the covering that looks great here's a look at the window it's been completed it's painted trimmed and everything this the exteriors are for all intents and purposes again sorry for the glare but the exteriors are complete for the most part matter of fact we know this because we can see the the the Mansion now from Tiana's bio Adventure and when I when I filmed this last Friday I was it was a tremendous relief for me because this had been behind scrim and I had no idea what was going on there I mean it is the side of a building but at least it's not I don't know I'm just relieved that there's something there something that is Pleasant to look at and not a scrim so you can see that they are pretty much done there on that side of things that you can see it from Tiana's bio adventure and it's would get on the Mark Twain to shoot the Haunted Mansion queue and the courtyard there uh again that that that makes me believe that that we're we're very near very near to things being revealed here in a lot of ways at the Haunted Mansion uh and again sorry for the glare what can we see now that we can see look there's a little bit of landscaping oh look at that on the brick wall That's the que for the dland railroad there's that brick wall and then just on top of that is some Landscaping so that's a good sign right there uh but I've been waiting for something to happen there it looks like it is happening I can see a little bit of a planner down there uh being developed for the Landscaping in front of the entrance we're going to pan right to show you uh this brick wall there there you go guys I saw that through the lenss I'm like oh let's get let's see if I can't focus in on that for a second and there okay There He Go you can see the very edge of the uh the wall That's fa or facing the courtyard meanwhile we'll get a look at the the rear queue and this is where things are going to get interesting this week because they have made a lot of really interesting progress in the past week or so uh and and not just the I mean the trellis looks good the trellis has gotten paint uh it's it looks a little more finished okay we're going to pan to the left sorry apologies we do this because look at oh gosh there it is look at all that detail right there I see a lot of detail a lot of uh yeah one two three four different possible Fountain type things they're not big fountains it's not a sing Fountain I don't know if those are fountains or not to be honest they could just be Planters but either way it looks really nice uh that and that's going to be facing guests that'll be facing guests who are in the courtyard there next to Tiana's Palace and then those tombik uh uh images that we see that we've seen historically at the Haunted Mansion are facing that side of way so it's very much haa Mansion themed and we will quickly send ourselves back okay so there's the moleon there's the trellis right about in the middle right third of frame you can see columns these look like you know the kind of columns you would see in a classic uh Plantation style Mansion but out here in the trellis that looks great uh it looks like they're adding a surface to the melum the Ada elevator that's what's behind the scaffolding there in the top right part of the frame so that's coming along they're adding a lot of texture and and theming elements to that and then if we move forward a little bit more you can see to the left they've continued there's there's like a tomb type surface coming out well I don't know surface um design element I don't see an opening there I'm not sure what that is if that's just for looks but I mean that's new that wasn't here before and then as we pan to the right a little bit more you can see theyve got the a new brick wall behind a covering there you know that's so difficult to find out where we are in space relative to how things used to look but man that is just coming along quickly lots of but you know I never noticed this before there's a clock way over here in the lower left third of of the of the frame I think that clock was there last week and maybe the week before but we never really talked about it but that's a really interesting thing by the way we have a permit also for the Haunted Mansion this was uh we had this last week but I didn't mention it but there's a permit was issued to install two non-illuminated signs I don't know what those are uh but those are coming now before we move on I mentioned new views inside and out here's the inside this is a over-the-wall shot from the queue this guest uh this is courtesy of Big Mike's Adventures he he was in the queue going to the Han mansion and got a shot I I think pretty sure that's over the wall That's the trellis in the top of the frame that's the trus that we've watching the build you can see that column there's that concrete column that I was pointing out earlier that is you know consistent with Plantation style mansions in that in that day and it looks very closed in very covered different from what we see from The Mark Twain I'm so it's I'm not positive where we are in space relative to the old Haunted Mansion q but one thing you can see through that scaffolding right in the middle of the picture the those look like melum markers not tombs per se because tombs are well they I mean they could be but those look like markers you know they're going to have the those clever names for people that that that evoke death I'm pretty sure that's what they're putting there is that is that the 8 elevator where I I it's difficult to tell it's difficult to tell where we are and if that's what that is or if that's just some other wall some other surface but I mean the ada8 elevator is supposed to be a mausoleum right so you would think well I mean we're assuming it will be so you would think that there would be markers of some kind on or in that building right if you're going with the theme but this also is a great sign of how far along they are in that space back there that's concrete on the floor you guys they've got they' put concrete down the last time we looked over the wall it was still dirt and they were just kind of you know struggling along getting things done they've got concrete now on the floor and the next thing that I would imagine that they'd be installing are the you know the stanions for the que that's Q space right there that we're looking at at that's Q space rear Q space that's exciting you guys that's exciting it gives me hope that there's you know uh I mean certainly at least by the time proper Hana Mansion comes back in January but we could see this I I could see a case being made for this being open during the holiday season completely we'll get back to our footage from The Mark Twain I'm really excited that just makes me happy uh I'm gonna see if we can't see anything over the wall you can kind of get a little edge of the trellis there but I can't really it's too it's too bright to get any sort of definition but you can see that trellis from almost anywhere it seems like and it's going to be very apparent to guests in the forward queue as well not just the rear queue even through that tree we'll pan to the left anything left to observe okay so this is the courtyard this is that space we're looking through that tree the courtyard between Tiana's Palace and the extended hunt Q you can see the steps through the tree for the Disneyland Railroad and you can see that there is some Landscaping happening there it doesn't look near as full not near as full that doesn't look like a a big Ivy type surface that we used to have that was deep and Rich and textured and I I mean I suppose it will maybe they're not done those oh those look like they're still in pots so that could just be oh okay so there's still hope there's still hope but that growth that that was there before had been there for a long time it was full and it had plenty of time to grow so we may have to be patient with the Landscaping that happens on either side of those steps leading up to the dland railroad yeah same thing over there on the left we're going to zoom right by that but there's no there's no Landscaping happening there as of yet and that's the haunted match in this week uh on this day we were late into the afternoon again but we got a really pretty view of Tiana's B adventure and the splash down man I've missed this I have missed this so much secret path is open there are boats in the water there it comes there he is just wonderful that just makes me so happy just seeing this thing back and alive again and guess being happy take a quick peek at the Brier patch this is I wanted to show see if you know I'm going to keep looking at this to see how long it takes that grass to grow on that roof but uh so we're at about the same obviously as we were but that that will grow in eventually and just again bio countries happening man it's great bio country canoes look at that it's all happening fantastic by the way I did get to ride Tiana's on this evening so we'll update there's a couple of things that I found when we're in Bayou Country on this day as for the ride the one thing I did note was the animatronic at the top of the or I mean on the first lift Hill the Tiana this hadn't been working very well but I was very impressed with the it looked really great this was this was the best that I've seen the Tiana animatronic perform form so far hey there y are is up ahead let's join and find a B for our celebration to the so yeah that was the animatronic that I really noted on this visit one thing we also noted as an update from last week is that the car is now visible the Ford is now visible at the exit I'm wondering okay so there's the car I'm sure you've all seen it but is that fence behind I think that's permanent that was obviously wide open before uh for guest when they exited Splash Mountain back in the day I think that fence behind the Ford is permanent guests come out that door right there right behind the the Ford uh I'm assuming it's a Ford I think it is but I've been waiting for them to take down that fence but I don't think they're gonna I really don't think they're gonna I think that's it we'll stay tuned we'll see but that's Tiana that's New Orleans Square let's get into some other topics of Interest we'll go back to Tomorrowland and check in on Pixie Hollow we've just been waiting and waiting for anything to happen here that uh or or I should say for them to finish really they keep extending it uh but we'll get on the astral Orbiter and see what we can see uh my weekly stomach check and I mean it looks there's a lot of crew back there there is a lot of crew working on site we got to get a little higher yeah let's get a little higher yeah there they are on the path they're working there I don't it looks like they're still working on the surface of the actual Grotto of the Lagoon and then a lot of cre crew oh my there's a lot of crew over there at the que as you as guests approach the actual meet and greet with the Pixies they're working on The Grotto side of that rail so my guess is again they're working on the the surface or the the the the bottom of that Grotto right there probably some maybe some leakage or something like that is what's happening there what they're trying to fix there now we're going to break in we're going to break into this Pixie Hollow uh segment or this Tomorrowland seg before we head over to Space Mountain because uh I've just been sent something we've got some photos of the magic happens Parade floats in storage there's a storage facility or on seros Avenue in Anaheim I'm sure you all well those of you who pay attention to this kind of thing know what I'm talking about and you can often see stuff going in and out of storage the storage facility there these are what you're seeing are uh the magic happens floats and now as my understanding magic happens was still backstage you know after they closed it uh before the start of the Halloween season this means that they have moved it off stage they're not bringing it in they took it out magic happens has left backstage Disneyland and is now in storage at citos what that means fresh baked is that they're making room they did that in order to make room for paint the Knight that means that paint the Knight is going to be happening probably right after the uh holidays probably in maybe maybe even as soon as January or February we we're not sure I don't know if they they can rehearse and you know test and everything off site while they're you know waiting for the floats to come on stage or or on site but I'm almost positive that the fact that that magic happens is backstage or I mean offsite it means that they're doing that in order to bring painton Knight onsite it also means we're probably not going to be getting magic happens back in 25 uh Magic happens will be back but probably not while paint the KN is running I thought they might the the the theory the idea what I thought they might do is wait until they could until the H uh the holiday season was over and take Christmas fantasy offsite take Christmas fantasy and move that off site in January after the holidays are over and then bring in paint the night which means that could be February or March or something like that before they can get everything going but the fact that they're taking magic happens off means that they're serious about getting paint the Night On Stage ASAP they're serious about they they want to eliminate that weight they want to eliminate the two-month weit to get Christmas fantasy off site I hope this is not too long-winded and everything is being clear they are they don't want to wait two months they want paint the night to be ready for the new year for the beginning of 25 and for the 70th meanwhile also you may or may not have heard there's been a casting call for better together they're going to bring that parade back to DCA at some point 25 as well it seems that seems quite apparent so there's your breaking news for this segment for this construction report paint the night looks like it's coming in sooner rather than later and it's coming to Disneyland by the way that that wasn't obvious the fact that they're taking magic happens backstage means it's going to Disneyland paint the night will be at Disneyland if I'm reading these tea leaves correctly and we'll get back to our regularly scheduled program in with a look at Space Mountain just to check in if there's anything happening and those construction Walls by the way that's a 30 minute wait as we walk in 30 minutes for Space Mountain and that was at like 11:00 a.m. but no nothing's happening with the construction walls they are all still present and accounted for just as we left them last week no progress anywhere still have no clue what they're doing uh yeah that's not a 30-minute queue I'm very sorry that is for those guests looking for a 30-minute queue more like 45 I would guess at that point um but yeah it looks like I no I have no idea we'll also take a brief break to watch this squirrel scarring about matorn he's in there somewhere chewing on there he is chewing on something okay let's go to Toontown where uh Hey shocking news the duck pond is still not working I have been advised this is I the ropes have been up and the duck pond has not been working for going on a month now I think uh I it's been a minute since I've seen this water running it my understanding is that they've they're having difficulty just getting the fountains the the you know that shoot the water up getting those fountains to operate properly they're not functioning and why that is I don't know this seems like a fairly standard piece of engineering you see this kind of thing all over the place but they can't get it to work here big th our next that guy will be going off stage for a little bit starting on November 18th will be down for just under a month nothing guess face though no repairs that are that are guest facing for Big Thunder 15 minutes look at that guys 15 minutes and this by the way also right around noon or so vland Treehouse I'm just going to shoot the buckets for as long as I can think of it just to be excited that they're actually working the buckets are still working at Adventure Land Treehouse we'll go to Indiana Jones next because I want to check in on the jungle cruise now there you go there you go 65 minutes that's a thing and that does look like a 65 minute queue so that's a noo but let's check in on the tiger scene at the jungle cruise which looks again uh just as we left it in previous weeks we can't really say there's no place no way to see what it is that are doing behind those walls and that go away green scrim but one thing I can observe is that the tiger is not working I think I think the the attraction is offline at the moment all of it yeah he's not moving at all because I saw these boats right here just parked there was this boat and another one in front of that one but there were Skippers on board so they were they were there but the attraction was not open and maybe they turned the tiger off at that point I guess let's go to downtown Disney we do have some interesting updates from Downtown Disney but that does not include ear sandwich ear sandwich is still ear sandwich uh it's the same the uh the Sweet Shop I forget what they call it the Sweet Shop is uh still well we're still waiting for that I was I was led to believe that we'd probably have this open at or around November in November month so we should be pretty close still waiting for the the sign to be installed there though status's situation normal at tortilla Joe's no signs of demo or of literally anything happening here Lego Store still we could peek through the door a little bit you can see a scissor lift back there but uh I can't really tell what they're doing inside oh here we go this is Parkside Market on the other side of the Lego shop and they they pulled the scrim back a little bit so we can see what's going on in the ground right there so they've got concrete concrete is done and they're applying the surface to the side of the parks Side Market building so that's coming along briskly as well and oh look they've installed a a pickup window that's that's a to-go pickup window that they've installed here cool we've been watching this glass get installed showing the the personality coming out uh finally becoming a parent of how this is going to look and I just absolutely love this I love this I I makes me want to go back and watch The Partridge Family or something you guys know the Partridge Family am I alone on this those guys are up to something up there they're installing something I don't know what you call that but there's steel underneath that and then this is sort of a fabricated adornment that they're putting on top of that to put a little sealant on the inside of that and then fix it to give it a more I guess concrete look perhaps there's the bar the park side bar we've talked about that centerpiece there hanging from the ceiling action happening there as well I still can't tell at all what's happening at the retail section or at ear sandwich though I do have some news on Earl of Sandwich it's been it's been in limbo for going on nine months now the initial uh you know the permits were filed for the building uh and it got through you know like City Planning but then it's just been stuck but it looks like they're F they're getting ready to issue the final go-ahead the city is the final go-ahead to start constructing Earls so uh that'll be happening probably in the next month or so or within the next month and then we're going to start seeing something happening on the other side of that wall That's when this the fresh baked street team will need to kick into gear I'm going to need you guys all of you folks who are staying at the dland hotel specifically the tower that's facing that faces Downtown Disney and I believe that's the frontier I think that's the frontier Tower is that right I think it is I point your camera to the right Point your camera towards the parking lot that's where you you want to be looking at the parking lot that is between Downtown Disney and the Pixar Place Hotel on my way out I noticed there looks like they have installed something to the side of the building that looks like it's a sign for which place I don't know I don't I would assume it's for one of the dining locations at Parkside and then I also notice this sign on the way out there's another sign that has been install but it's also covered so we can't see what's going to be there but that's probably Sip and saund perhaps World of Disney guys on my way out of Downtown Disney I stopped through World of Disney to show you some wonderful Christmas decorations happening inside here they are ready to go it looks great I love Christmas decorations they're kind of going pretty pretty basic though just lit Garland with lights and a very basic Christmas tree with uh red bulbs but the the little merch section here looks delightful anybody want a candy cane themed uh Mickey ear situation I don't know what I don't know what you do with you just carry that and that'll take us to DCA where we're still waiting again for some kind of development at the turn Styles at DCA these have been behind construction walls for two weeks now no idea when or how those are being updated I oberved also this sign for magic key upgrades you know upgrade your single day ticket to a magic key the fact that this sign has been posted suggests that they're going to be selling these for a little while what the heck we're on B Vista Street and there is our Christmas tree I was not expecting to see a Christmas tree on this visit there I was not expecting they are early for Christmas tree I mean I know decorations get up early but I don't think I've ever seen the Christmas tree up this early before and it is your classic DCA Christmas tree complete with the Mickey carrying his California bus suitcase Waltz Barn the train delightful looks great decorations look great I'm really happy to see this is making my heart full uh watching Christmas come into bloom here at the Disneyland Resort I just wish they would bring back the Bell ringers and that the the carollers that would Christen the beig you know the tree lighting ceremony which they'd bring that back there we got some Christmas Happening Here on Hollywood Boulevard there's Santa and we've got the booth the kiosks for the Festival of holidays food and wine style festival Boo have shown up there's Grandma's recipes and Mery mashups out here bruise and bites what do they got bruise and bites has got the chicken chichon and a passion fruit Rose lassi boy there is winter slider land that's always good you can always expect to find something good at winter slider land Twist on tradition anything good here let's take a peek turkey gallentine Quant muffin slider and a barbecued pulled pork cornbread bake that's new and there's another one holiday Duets I mean I can't wait I think I may have to eat all that food is Wayne Brady gonna have to eat all of that food for festival holidays I think he might uh we'll stop at Mission breakout where a a permit was recently filed uh a tenant Improvement replace drive and brake control cabinets for ride conveyance system on 10th floor machine room I have no idea if that's going to be you know like a if that's going to cause a closure of the attraction that there's nothing on the schedule that could just be something they're doing backstage while the attraction operates so we'll keep an eye on that but look for some possible upgrades there let's go to carsland where Christmas is also arriving we have decorations here as well the classic tire white wall tire and uh air filter decorations over Route 66 they're not done this is probably 2third done I'd say we're they're putting it up in stages there's maters I love this Christmas tree with the spark plug on there that's for the light the posters are up the movie posters oh here it is the the roadside plate Christmas tree Flo's has got her air air filters up as well and the oil thing inama jig I don't know what you call that we've got an update finally at cozy cones been waiting for literally anything to happen here they've installed an awning there's an awning going they they finally put something up there that's incredible all this time we've been waiting for my understanding is that they were changing how they were going to have guess you know what kind of tables what kind of benches they'd have out there but they're also giving you a little different shade a little coverage rather than the umbrellas let's take a peek Behind the Walls this is that space that's between the Cozy cones and Luigi's and I've been trying to figure out what this has been a mystery that's been blowing my mind trying to figure out what they're doing but look at that that's concrete you guys that was concrete let's go on the other side the Luigi side and see what we can see there this is actually the complete opposite it's we're flipping the view of what we saw before with the concrete from the Cozy con sign and that's a fence right let's get in Focus yeah there's a they they built a fence there's concrete and a fence so it's not landscaped area that's that guests could not access no I think I've got it I think I figured out what they're doing over here at Coy cones across from Luigi I think I've got it and the more I look the more I'm certain this is going to be extra seating this is going to be guest accessible and they're going to be giving guests providing more more tables more places to stop and sit and eat or to rest this was completely off stage before it was just landscaped area uh there was a big fence there you no guest access they're going to connect cozy cones to Luigi's and allow guests to sit in that space that's got to be it there why else would you PVE it back there they're putting in more this place needs more seaing more places to stop and eat the food that you're getting at cozy Co and that's actually more than I thought it would be I I didn't think they were they anyway I was not expecting that let's go to Little Mermaid where decorations are up here as well but it's also closed as we've been alluding to in previous updates they're doing something to Ariel's unders Adventure not sure what walls are up throughout this space these walls are closing up the the raised queue just before you get to the actual Thresh the entrance to the attraction but that's not all they've also put walls up here out in the walkway in the common area now this is where they would have Accent on super busy days they would run they would put up stanions and run uh you know just a loose sort of ill-fitting Q space here I wonder if they're going to do something a little bit more permanent we'll have to try and get on the golden Zephyr in future episode of the next week actually to see what they're doing there uh assuming golden zeph is open which it hardly ever is but I want to know what I want to know what's going on on the other side of those walls and that is our construction update from the dis Resort let's recap ride closures before we exit uh it's a small world will be reopening on November 15th with the first day of the Hol uh the holiday season still no date for Great Moments with Mr Lincoln it is unknown when that is coming back but it's still there's the the calendar can see as I record this up until December 22nd and that is not it's still on the reer calendar at that Point hoping by January that's what I'm hoping uh Big Thunder is closing on November 18th and will be closed until December 13th that's when it'll reopen Pixie Hollow is closed now and is scheduled to reopen on December 1st Casey Jr is going through a 5-day referb it's going to close on December 2nd and reopen on December 7th same for the story book L Canal boats actually that's coming back a date earlier closing on December 2nd reopening on December 6th and then Little Mermaid as mentioned is closed now reopening on November 23rd and then Redwood Creek challenge closed right now reopening on the first day of the holiday season November
