You won't believe this is Vietnam's capital city
this is uh long bean bread we're getting on you guys which was built by the french i believe in the early 1900s maybe 1902 or something and uh it was heavily bombed during the vietnam war you can still see the train tracks it was built by the french in order to connect to connect hanoi essentially with like taipan the port city so the uh this is the the original kind of uh setup of the bridge where trains go across but uh we're actually not here to cross long beam bridge under longview bridge there's something uh very interesting a place uh well you might just not think you're in hanoi anymore this is uh the view from the top looks like a jungle right under long bean bridge lies an island my friends and that's where we're going join me so i actually lied we had to come to the other side of the bridge because this side is much easier to get down onto this island the other side is very steep but this side is a lot easier i don't know if you can see the bike going down over there watch these these guys are going to do it let's go follow them [Music] alrighty well you heard the man let's uh try to get down i've actually been down before it's really not that hard but i need to strap you guys in because i can't film and do this at the same time the other side is much harder though yeah this side's really not that bad the other side is much much much harder to get down all right here we are under longbian bridge my friends this is the secret under uh longbian bridge check this out this is cool it's like a whole little hidden area over here they have like typically they have places to drink this side is much harder to get down this side is much easier but typically over here they'll have places to uh drink and stuff i don't know exactly they're probably not open now or they shouldn't be because of covid but yeah pretty cool let's uh let's go inside and check there's some interesting things under this island let's strap you guys in let's see maybe they have this place cool it's just like a little jungle island right in the middle of the city this is literally like exactly in the center guys it's just like a jungle island i'm pretty sure along this road if i'm not mistaken there's a temple there's also a beach there's actually like a naked beach here believe it or not i know that sounds weird but if you go really far inside there's a place where old men just like are naked and they play badminton so this is uh so this is yeah this here's like another like a little uh down there there's like workout equipment i'm pretty sure it's you're not supposed to go in right now because of um let's let me stop and get off i'm not supposed to go in right now because of covet obviously but it's interesting they have a uh sign here now people who die here every year because of um from drowning so if you don't know how to swim don't go in means like wear a uh life jacket in all scenarios and water is deep and the currents are strong so yeah probably not a uh well it's just a warning just be careful i'm not gonna go down there now because i don't think i'm supposed to with covet but normally you can go down there and there's just workout equipment it's just on the bank of the river let us continue i might not even need to [Music] that was weird i just turned on my bike has a weird noise must be it must be too hot it is freaking hot it's so much cooler in the shade though what there's a coffee shop interesting i've actually never been in this coffee shop and i've come back after kobe when everything's open what kind of coffee shop is this it's until they feel must be for like taking pictures or something interesting what kind of coffee shop is in here interesting okay is this an interesting camera angle guys normally i can just like if i'm not driving a manual bike i can hold it and drive slowly at the same time as long as it's safe but with a manual i have to use my both hands left hand for the clutch right hand or the not that uh not that big city feel that you get when you um you know where people are a little colder a little more uh abrupt if that makes sense alrighty let's see normally in here i'm pretty sure this is like a uh banana farm or something they have like they have been jesus sure they don't get foreigners coming in here every day we're not gonna ah okay this place is probably the place she was talking about oh there's a dog there though yeah we're not gonna go with the dog there more dogs yeah i'm not big on dogs guys here i don't know i don't know let's go to the other side guys see is this dog gonna chase me no not as long as i go slow okay yeah so technically with this sign over here it says yeah with the uh covert outbreak you're not supposed to be uh meeting tons of people so i'm not going to go into any super crowded areas but i mean it's just people swimming and stuff like it's not it's not crazy it's just so weird this is like right in the middle of the city let's go to the other side of the bridge and see what's over there okay my god they even sound like vegetables here i don't know you could buy vegetables i knew they salt just they like have a banana farm here inside here i'm pretty sure these are all bananas but i'm not mistaken i mean let me stop and look these might actually all just be bananas guys let me see pretty sure these are banana tree or like plantation trees i don't know when is banana season have they already been harvested i don't see any bananas but i'm pretty sure because last like october i was here and there were tons of bananas everywhere those small trees might not be but these bigger trees i'm almost sure these are the non-non-trees anybody get that reference oh yeah there they are okay there's the bananas see them up there growing upward as they should let's continue my friends i probably just barely will cut this video i mean i barely cut any of my videos anymore but get the whole experience guys it's just amazing you just moved i got a whiff of uh something that did not smell like a cigarette wink wink if you guys know what i mean i mean i smelt it i wonder what there is if we just keep going like this this area is actually kind of interesting like i just thought of it when i was passing this area a lot of young kids will come and they'll drink beer like really really underage kids like 12 13 11. even younger those come here and just hang out with their friends and drink beer or melo as you can see and have snacks as you can see with this probably at night people come and do other things here too like uh well here's cigarettes probably more than cigarettes too yeah interesting i wonder what's down here that really sucked to not be filming here jesus after like 15 minutes all right guys onward is too weird getting taken out and put into my little holster every time it's not a holster it's just a freaking uh oh look at this butterfly what a beautiful butterfly oh flew away okay what's down here interesting interesting floating village floating village what is this chris is going to investigate my friends i totally stole that from harold balder but i'll always love when he says that held investigates now it's chris investigates guys put you guys back in the in the holster was just signed only in english it makes me wonder like if a foreigner put it up to help other foreigners find things this thing is so you know i've heard i actually don't know i've heard this island connects all the way down to like like uh back behind the street where i used to live julian there's a also an island i've heard they connect i wonder if you just keep going down here if they will connect whoops this guy was trying to pass me i'm not bad not bad i wonder if it connects lots of vegetables they're growing here really growing their lettuce i don't know interesting lots of these banana trees i'm pretty sure these are all banana trees with the big leaves where's this floating village though here it's the floating village interesting okay i think this road probably connects actually back out because i think i see sorry was i that might have that angle might have been way off this road might actually connect back out to where i used to live those houses kind of look familiar i think this is a great place for a thumbnail let's check out i'm not going to meet anyone here just because it's coved right now i don't want to interact with people which is obviously what the majority of my videos are but interesting i wonder if they have like restaurants here normally these are like this is these are homes i think this is thumbnail time guys take this off and get a uh get a quick thumbnail sunglasses or no sunglasses i think sunglasses are okay this seems like a good place am i filming am i getting a good thumbnail guys try taking off the sunglasses everybody's looking at me and these are some good leading lines to lead in right here try this okay i think i got something hopefully this would be better because it's a little bigger now you guys see how important a thumbnail is it's interesting they have their boat here you can see a boat with like waterproof boots lots of trash unfortunately clearly they don't have a great like waste system here it's kind of interesting you can see the homes right on the inside so if you can see the pillows and the and uh kind of the the mats the bamboo mats for um laying down this is all the trash here though i'm not stepping on uh snakes am i i'm such a wimp while they're trash they just kind of pile here somebody must come and take it because there's not really that much to be honest for um for what i would expect interesting let's come back here guys like maybe um after covid so when i can actually meet there you would seriously ah look at this look at the people fishing inside the oh look at this what are they doing oh i i gotta join them afterwards future videos guys damn so interesting what are they doing i don't know i don't know exactly what they're doing but i want to know i think some sort of like hand i think that's an that's not an oyster is it what is that i don't know what that is not sure like the makeshift hat did you guys see with the uh the banana leaf he had it over his head i don't know oh look at this boat yeah see it way off in the distance interesting howdy guys well you live in like the northern vietnam quintessential drink is like this is 5k not a bad price some people say it's 3k kind of just depends on how big it is where you are it's not too bitter i don't think so maybe i'm so used to it max when he was up here if you guys remember he tried it he was like oh it's so bitter so good all right guys i think we're going to end the video there i can't meet people really just because of covid how many times i've said that might be for the fourth and um i don't know this video is already 26 minutes long i don't plan on cutting it so hopefully you guys
