Touring Zimmerman Tractor Fantastic Collection!
good beautiful morning everyone Charles and I are off on another adventure to Versailles Missouri Let's Roll we're headed out in the old Ford F-350 let's get her warming up [Music] Charles and I are almost at our destination we are coming into Versailles Missouri [Music] I got the serial number in the block and everything and I was gonna put it all in that but since I had I found the nicer one I'm going to use oh so that's basically just the parts machine now yeah so when it's got the a stamped in it right that's agriculture there's a t6d we bought out in Oregon uh they modify to put a truck engine in it you guys did no I bought it that one oh okay 300 horsepower yeah I bet that really who goes to town with that Implement back there doesn't it it pulls for forward yeah it was all machines you parted out yeah there's an ag6 to build about a hundred of them that in there you can roll that window down if you want there oh sure it's not that cold appreciate it that there is an egg soup and caterpillar come out with the first Challenger the guys out west were negative on Challengers so caterpillar got scared and they weren't geared up made Deans it's actually a D16 with extended track frames and they moved the motor back forward motor up 40 engines for more balance Spades there d6d kind of looking like a challenger okay wow where'd you get that from California California looks like you got an aquarium on here it in is that all Factory that's um from Out West Michigan in the weed fields and make homemade caps and put on I see somebody did a nice job right here okay very interesting how many machines do you have here he lost count huh but you don't keep a lot of case 310s or 310 G's or anything I see I'm always looking for parts they're built over there somewhere and I bought it in Pennsylvania some guy had it there's two of them there's another one around here somewhere and you must be on the road a lot oh yeah there's a Heston I actually got a Heston coming a complete one from California and I got a couple of landini's coming too yeah I got another one coming like this it's all man offered to be parted out no problem in a Cell ultra sound hopefully a better shape that one is yeah here's the other Lamborghini I like how old is that that's a 1936 D6 1936. mainly like collectors would call for parts off of that now yeah tell them in my collection like that yeah when I was a kid think Clemson we lived in Pennsylvania we had a neighbor he farmed with three in them they're a three-cylinder diesel real unique Town yeah foreign stuff all over the world too yeah yeah I figured it'd be other people in other countries needing some of this stuff we sold a lot of machines overseas like you're a maintenance on Cambodia to use yeah yeah yeah do you have a most popular model them guys or whatever basically staying with caterpillar this is just the Trap pass goes up we'll hold that off now 30 you gotta hold it away oh about 100 miles 100 year it was way up we got like six thousand dollars alone wow that's worthwhile yeah we've got a lot of Alice Park Souls I see a few analysts yeah you're not getting new so yeah that's Alice Chambers makes a good parts machine because he can't get the barns so a lot of them are probably more valuable just to sell the perks yeah this building here is a warehouse It's concrete the shelves in it and it's all full of parts I motor stuff transmission do you guys have to have an inventory system or you just have it in your mind Todd as a match time we're fixing my thumbs up the Street Bio this salvage car from it oh okay I deeded them all 15 acres in Texas and there's some John Deere right now that's the 1010 right there right next to you here oh okay and that's a 20 pin over there yeah that's a 2010. I bought that one that's got the three point on the bank they get all put on my opinion I see do you have some words that we need yeah there's a four third and salvation you don't see too many of them and Salvage because they didn't make too many four thirds are rare yeah do you have a favorite oh god I've been a John Deere kinda but I do all that right now I just have a TD5 thing day three be like a D15 Alice but it's in a coroner it's an egg one it's got three point PTO on it I'm not gonna go out there it's gonna solved down here but yeah we've just got ones that are waiting for me yeah yeah there's a 450 loader cool when it's unload right here what's the large scoop on these hoods for that's Western High cats that's the key from sucking the dirt up when near soil So Soft when they're disk and fuel event in that fan will just suck that right up and put it through the radiator really that's to keep the dust down I see that's the international that's a td9 we're talking about that would be an older style them shoes have you can see on the top side between the bolt holes where it's kind of stamped down yeah and then the rail must notched for that to fit in when they went to like the td9 B and some ages and stuff they put that kind of like the combine attraction point interesting why does it seem like their the crawlers are always out west why did they why did they need those to add Crawlers for more walking because of the hillsides oh okay they fall in the mountains okay they're contraction on them that less compaction and then California has them because they irrigate everything and they're year round that never really freezes and falls those are some big blades there what do those go to oh them there is off a d8s d8s wow well the front one there was actually a D16 here very late late month like a 2013 or something this would be um Mount off these first ones but on up true is where the 10 10s and stuff are in I see so you have multiple ten tins to get yeah a loader version right the AG ones the only egg ones I would have would Milwaukee but the parts would interchange with me yeah the only time they had the constant mesh Transmission in it and molds to the bull loss and loaders at the hydraulic reversion but they did make a few of them I've been watching if I see that I would buy yeah and then pretty much everything would be the same and when I whenever I I had actually bought me one at an auction I was just kind of painting green just to have one well we got it home because I figured I would never find the 2010 agriculture it's really rare so I was just gonna I like the one there with the olive yellow the back end towards us yeah I just bought one like that I had a farm sale and it happened to have the PTO on I bought that and I was just put the blade off but just gonna paint it green and set up control room just to have it to look at it oh when I got it home Ezra he decided and started studying and he figured out he could put the wheel tractor 8-speed yeah so I bought a 2010 wheeler tractor we were gonna do that well when it got started doing that he found it out he needed a constant main input here so I started calling yarn after yard to find that and I wasn't having very much luck and finally I happen to think fresh look at that added a paper about older John Deere parts so I call them yeah I'm 85 years old kind of guy he didn't trust nobody he carried a pistol locked all his doors and we went up there and we started looking for this concert nice shaft so I told him we were trying to do he says well I got one of that agriculture ones he had it in his yard yeah yeah yeah I bought that and that's the one on the internet whenever we were doing that all your John Deere magazines would say that the 2010 AGS were all decent yeah well when I got mine it had the motor soil out of it so you couldn't really tell but when I got it here as we said well it's got the gas throttle so we sent the serial number into that challenge here outfit over here in Illinois Bank wanted to argue the fact because the butcher I was saying they're all diesels yeah he said when I go back I'm curious I'm going to look at all the 2010s and see how many gases there were and she looked them all up and there were only two gas agriculture so mine is the first one out of the two mine's the first one as John Deere called you wanting to buy it I haven't yeah now what do you do with these along the road do you work on them fix them up and then sell them or yeah that's what we sell and these are all I had crawlers that we get out of Washington I see a minute really now is that because they're on steel or on steel yeah I see because I saw like your your rolling tractor you had had a steel wheel tonight and that's what they have in their churches [Music] I see so these tractors kind of Show Shine for the horse Boogeyman tonight because they're already ready to go right right but yeah we sell a lot of these I got these strung all over all around Wisconsin area in Pennsylvania and Kentucky and Ohio now these ones with the white cab is that factory or it's a aftermarket cab okay very interesting foreign ESR that's the very last ease bill in a direct drive that's like a 94 model okay [Applause] yeah about sold out we usually you should have a whole lineup of bull losses and loaders and I'm down to like my four machines here so you got to get busy building and where was something like that little one go to a minute small farmer uh produce that particular machine there I sold to an Amish man in Maine is moving to West Virginia save it here until he gets Moon oh and uh doesn't want to send it to me and then back down for all of it okay found a predecessor to the 310 a nice Terror track here very interesting I want to listen to this gentleman talk so I won't say just too much has a flat belt pulley interesting [Music] and they like those because well there's all on hillsides oh tractor just slide around spinning guy on them this tractor here I got out an order of Montana the 55 model and a 14a 121s there is real unique you don't see too many in a 141 Series in the Aged Style the air system s here's a 37 td35 with B Connie and your td-9 size or 54 Runner foreign what's the power unit from it would be like a 9ud6 I see big yeah that is a large one yeah like where would you have found that what two you got to read there oh that tractor is real special I knew they were gonna do four and I did not have a four crawler and I've just told to kind of care up there I guess um we won't have one to bring up uh of course you could bring other brands up there but they're featured form here I was looking one of the antique magazines in here this auction was coming up in Michigan it happens on there wow we saved it on the computer screen and when the day come up I sat there and I just hit that key time wow this is the TV now I see that yeah let's see what you're saying yeah yeah would that help retain the cleat better that was their thought huh I'm not sure some uh they all run um I don't know if we'll ever do with them I just got to say when this is the gas the T thinks it would be the version of a like an environment okay that's a Narrow Gauge T14 I really like to restore that I don't know if I get it done because it's Narrow Gauge almost makes it look like a td-9 but it's a td14 I see diesel yep well it's gas with one side diesel the other you started up a gas and warm it up flip it over on diesel that's like wow as the stamped cleat again Maria wants a tv9 and it would be the same way as tall as the gas and switches over wow I like the lights off the top yeah that makes it look real nice yeah we headed into the other building that's a gorgeous 1010 like a 45 HG computer and there's a 65 430 in that same year I was born 1960. well I mean that hot water heat yes I thought I felt that radiate now I love hot water yeah so on demand we've had a little trouble after got a guy working on it wow and here's a just a 20 times everything nothing special yeah this the 430 you said was pretty rare yeah when you showed us over there very few and Soles yeah how many of them did they make I have to get a book out and look um couldn't tell you wow I mean it's quite a quite a few more than like the 10 tens and 20 tens and the green ones of course but the 2010 they only made 159 or so um and the 10 10 like yours I think there's like 300 of that you know here to 51 td6 I grew up at home we had one like that we're gonna drove it when I was four or five years old four and five years old they don't do that nowadays you almost get in trouble doing it yeah went back to Pennsylvania everybody call them Tobago yeah and uh when they loaded flat wagons and we have the td6 and the wagon there sticking a little gear and over driving that put that the back on there yeah wow what I remembered is I couldn't pull the steering levers and I was putting my feet up on the dash here to pull these leaves all right wow then this next one is a gas it's a T6 and it's a 54 model that would have been in the Super M air okay so it's got like the Super End mode okay and then this next one is a 58 model td6 and that would have been when the 450 problems wow he really put a lot of time in on him and then the next one here is a 62 Model T zakes and that would have been when you're 560s and 465 must come down okay wow yeah the only International we have is a little 404 propane so we uh there's the D4 uh the last year on a D4 very late serial number they actually were making d4cs already in 59. this one's new enough uh most of these had like the tag on it with the D2 and the D4 on it this one's new enough it don't even have that it's in the decal like the D14 ah I see here's the rare 2010 yeah that's the rare one yeah [Music] uh two of these bills this is a 64 monitor but we're only two of these wow and there were 158 total but the others were all diesels now did the 1010s ever have those Circle Gardens on yeah okay there's uh 379 of these okay wow this is a 61 model here that's an AG crawler yes really yep whatever it's got uh the A and the serial number right so and when I'm at Farm sales at salvage yards even if it's yellow I look at the serial number because it'd be like just the one you've gone is a true act one of somebody has painted it yeah so I always look at the ceremony right here's the old Lindemann yeah you need that's definitely a little more vintage where did you find this one at uh this one here comes from California California does have the the shuttered front end okay wow this would have been like in The Orchards or yeah that's what this is so the tree limbs will scoot across was an orchard tractor and just lift them an outfit from Yakima Washington just bought from here to here not a train car loads they put them on wood blocks and and reeling them out there and then they put this conversion kit on and it's just like a plate bolt Center with both finalizing the track system okay put it on that wheel tractor okay yeah yeah wow that is cool how often are you out on the road then that was used not as much to YouTube as I drive myself yeah and then now is this the one you found in Pennsylvania in a salvage yard wow how many hours do you have in the restoration a bunch yeah wow we really appreciate you showing us around I love to see him with this they started to transition away from the more styled Hood to kind of go to this more Industrial I see interesting D2 made the latest DTD bill what year is that 55 and 52 is when they switched to uh to track frames a little bit longer and and they put a heavy metal Fender from the curve steering lever on it like a D4 like this like a pressed steel and had a straight labor I see so the long we would have had at home kind of looked like that one but it had this style of family room relievers I see yeah yeah I do see the like you said the track frame the longer it's still just a four roller but to spread them from it apart I see that has the PTO on the back too that has a flat belts oh I see yeah very interesting that's a rope start with the pony motor okay you've got to hold your mouth just right to get that when we go yeah here's the 50 side of the four corner it's kind of unique it's the fire roller track frame but to the three-point I see yeah and here's the late five point yeah you definitely have some unique pieces wow yeah I got this the hood and this see that all come off the diesel and then I got the block with the serum upper so I'm going to put all that on this all right and this is an AG crawler [Music] was it common to have the the yellow blade on them like that yeah very interesting used to have a neighbor wow cool very cool now when you get to this and change it over with the motor be available is the other one I got down in the machine somebody swipe the serial number off of it so look at the back of the terror track very nice that's the flat belt and the PTO oh cool very cool Charles did some trading with the gentleman here at Zimmerman tractor for this 1010 AG crawler hope to get it running possibly restore it one day it was a very very very nice tour can't say enough about these guys they were very knowledgeable very nice to talk to and friendly let us tour everything and brought you guys along on the adventure I think
