welcome back to another beautiful day here in lore Pakistan now today I got a very special video planned for you guys one that I've been wanting to make for a very long time today Salam alikum how are you brother nice to see you um but yeah today we are actually heading to the waga border to see the flag ceremony on the Pakistan Indian border now this is something that I've been wanting to see for so many years and I can't believe that today is finally the day that we are going to make that happen now I've been told that the ceremony kicks off between 4: and 5:00 p.m. depending on the time of year so we actually have a taxi driver that we found this morning as he brought us here to the township market area which is where we're at right now and we have coordinated a drive with him so the 45-minute Journey we're about to take is going to cost us around 3,000 rupees each way so around $10 us not too bad and let me just tell you guys I'm excited to see what we get into Salam alayum how are you brother alayum how are you man nice to meet you guys alikum here in Pakistan everybody is so kind so friendly and it doesn't matter where you walk man there's always somebody that wants to say hi invite you for a tea invite you for a coffee something to eat it's just a very hospitable place and of course I'm with Andrew what's up guys how you doing brother I'm so excited to do this I want to get the flags painted on my face and I even I might wear the Shah cames might put that on I'm super excited yeah yeah yeah we both got a cames and they're back at the hotel we're going to see if we got enough time to make it to the hotel to do a little quick outfit change before heading over there but if not we'll just run and Gun it and head straight to the Border because we cannot miss out on the ceremony it's our last po evening in laor and we have to make it happen so I'll tell you guys a little bit more about the ceremony why it takes place here in a second but for now let's jump into the taxi and let's make our way there man I'm so glad that I get to share this experience with you bro one for the books so blessed one for the books so yeah a lot a lot going on here in this part of the Town Salam Alum a lot of traffic a lot of vendors motorcycles and our Taxi Driver should be meeting us right around this area here in the next few minutes so I'll catch up with you guys once we jump on in and we start this 45-minute Journey to the waga border so I definitely recommend taking off to the Border ceremony quite early we pushed it quite hard it was 2:30 p.m. when we got into the vehicle and right now we're well it's 3:10 and there's still 30 minutes left and of course uh we got to make sure that nothing else happens along the way no accidents no traffic or else we won't make it on time turns out that the Border ceremony takes place at 4:5 p.m. and it's actually been taking place for 66 years the very first ceremony took place in 1959 and it's a very peaceful ceremony where the Pakistani army and the Indian Army Exchange like a like a drill almost like a dance off with each other it's going to be very fun so yeah hopefully we make it there on time Andrew is a little bit out right now he's not feeling too hot from the stomach but you'll feel better once you make it to the parade man yeah man once we make it there you're going to feel great so yeah I'll catch up with you guys in about a half hour time just made it to a main intersection and look at that bumper to- bumper traffic guys I mean there are donkeys horses tractors all kinds of different vehicles I hope we make it there on time wo man so many close calls like this this entire road trip I'm telling you there's no rules here on the road in in Pakistan it's chaos but it's a beautiful chaos it's awesome Salam alikum wow look at the tractor just smashing through guys this is awesome isn't it yeah this is crazy it's like so unreal man there's so much going on like so much stimulation in in every direction it's crazy guys yeah everybody's just kind of doing whatever they want wow okay let's see what's happening here oh I'm thinking there was an accident oh accident huh accident wow craziness man yeah like if we if we were suck on that side we definitely we wouldn't have made it man we should have came over here during breakfast time I guess should have came here proper early look at this flower shop little convenience store a lot of fresh fish I wonder where the fresh fish comes from I haven't seen any water well I guess that water right behind them oh wow now that's filthy there's no way the fish comes from there that's a small little river Salam alikum oh she's holding a cat you seen that yeah I don't know where the fish come from we're pretty far from the oce ocean in Karachi I mean they ate a lot of fish but we were right along the sea here we're quite a ways okay yeah this is I don't know what we're going to end up doing man let's hope we make it let's leave his car right here and we don't really know exactly where to go we're just about to walk yeah in this General vicinity and see if we can't find the the ceremony Salam alaykum how can we go to the ceremony Flag Ceremony 4:00 star okay and we just walked that way yes yes we go to St how many one kilometer this is uh 5 5 minutes oh 5 minutes okay thank you oh you're a ranger bro yes yes thank you for keeping me safe thank you thank you the Rangers are the best man like the most strongest part of the army here in Pakistan and they keep us safe they're everywhere all over the cities and um they actually Patrol outside of the hotels as as well to make sure that the tourists are are safe man and that is awesome to see wow there's a lot of families out here a lot of uh people gathered around I'm excited this ceremony has been something that's been on my list for years man years I remember seeing videos about uham alikum how are you brother nice to meet you I remember seeing videos of the waga border years ago when I first started YouTube people had already come out here and shared videos from from this place so I'm looking forward to it I can't believe we're this close to India now I actually wanted to cross into India from here but I was told that you cannot cross with an EV Visa you can come from India into Pakistan but not vice versa with the Eva but here we go the waga it looks like the Pakistan side is under construction right now they're building all the bleachers new new bleachers for everybody to sit down on but yeah the music is a Vibe good music huh is this National Music National Music yeah yeah Nation music wow I love it sounds good sounds so good we got some pretty good seating on the opposite side it looks like a lot busier well obviously I think there's a lot more tourists over on the India side but yeah you got like the Army the Rangers right now the ceremony should begin here in about 10 15 minutes guys but the Vibes the energy this is what you want right man this is I got goosebumps walking in here I know it's awesome it's unreal unreal I said it's like the great col the colum the Coliseum it's almost like we're about to see something go down we are we are we are we are the buildup is real we've been waiting for like a good hour and a half now but we're getting close huh it's almost time maybe another 5 minutes or so and I think we'll have at it we keep checking the time but the time there's the time zone different so every time we there's half an hour different the time changes I was telling him like am I crazy we just checked it was 359 now it's 4:19 it's because India side has a different time they're 30 minutes ahead of where we are now it's a completely different time zone it's crazy huh I wasn't expecting it it's filling up look at all the people there's so many people here now I can only imagine once this gets open it's going to be crazy here and yeah you got you still got this man I don't know how he's doing that with one leg he's been doing that for like 30 minutes now I can't do that with two legs I can't do that with two legs yeah you're right but yeah all the soldiers are getting lined up here like everything that they do is just amazing and it's it's beautiful seeing the uh Pakistani Rangers in their outfits right with all of their decorations and what I find very interesting guys is that everything is very well organized even with the India side it's almost like if they practice together and I think it's beautiful that even though there's so much conflict between the two countries it's beautiful to see that they both come together for the ceremony right before that I I never heard uh that I came here but now I'm very excited and enjoying it was very amazing it was amazing huh and definitely it it was very amazing for us because we meet you people a thank you brother thank you I hope you guys make it to Australia they're actually in the medical field and hopefully one day I come back and I have a nice meal with them um right now oh there's Andrew I thought you were still stuck back there how was that experience brother man it really just takes the words out of my mouth because it was such a like it's not our country but it's just so beautiful like you said to see two countries with a bit of a difference in the past and things that have happened but the respect and everything that's there is amazing to see it it really shows humanity and like man gave me goosebumps I I if you come to Pakistan and please do come and check this out guys it is amazing I remember this forever it's beautiful hey that was a that's that was the highlight of my trip yeah that was the highlight of my trip the waga border hands down that was amazing kind of glad we did it on the last day because everything's being just build up build up build up better and better better I'm glad there was an accident yesterday we couldn't make it man it's been perfect it's been perfect I've
