morning walking us to breakfast hey beautiful he's been outside of our home stay all week and when he got up this morning for the arms he came with me he's been with me so he's my friend today anyway so welcome back to my Channel or welcome if you're new here my name is Josie I'm in love in Lao and I want to show you this beautiful city this morning before we get on to the rest of the things that you can do here in Lao it's quite early today so bear with me but my friends just eating some food he's having his breakfast yeah buddy he needs a name good morning somebody so this city has definitely one that I think is one of the prettiest most picturesque places we've been to so far I think my jumpers are backwards yeah hold on okay that's better this is a river it's the Mekong River it's right there and most of the houses and the cafes and the like little village is just on the like Riverside which is where we are right now absolutely stunning absolutely beautiful just a beautiful place to be let's grab some breakfast and if we have enough money for our little friend too oh another dog came and got angry in here but now he's not coming anymore uh ice latte yes with sugar a hot latte bosse and a lime Freon and a cinnamon yogurt cake so as I mentioned a little bit earlier before another thing you can do here when you're in a long pabang is the morning arms with the MOX so I did that this morning hence why I'm a little bit tired they come past at this time of year around 5 30. so I got up at 5 20. they ended up coming around just past six so that's what I did this morning I bought some rice off the ladies sitting outside okay so 30 000 Cube I got a whole bag of rice and the waited around for a while they put like a little sarong around me as well so no one's come by yet so I'm not sure how long we wait for but it is 20 to six and then the monks came past one by one and you just I just gave them rice with gloves and off they went and it was really cool I've never done anything like that before so that was this morning that's one thing you can do while you're here I would still recommend it at least doing it one morning it happens every morning yeah every morning so at least getting up one time and doing it you probably have better success than me you're probably better at doing the mornings than I am but definitely worth your time if you're here in long of a bum okay so after a coffee the day has started this town is beautiful another thing I'd recommend doing is just walking around it's so picturesque it's perfect it's such a nice quaint clean beautiful feeling little town but the other thing that we're gonna do right now is catch a tuk-tuk to kwongxi Falls must do I think if you come to the Longford bank but an hour is drive away so let's go how much for a quantity Falls I'm back home soon with the fall yeah okay um that's all good thank you thank you okay okay okay okay all right you know me yeah I'm all about my business [Music] I will say this is a bumpy ride but it has nothing on the drive to get here that's for sure [Music] oh look at the wall oh it's coating okay there's a whole herd of cows here on the was here no it was all day are you serious yeah none of these even even the I don't think there was even a ticket office if there was it was a guy on a gate hold on look at the dog [Music] uh we can walk how long to walk to get to walk up there one kilometer one hour that's all right thank you cup chai Marcos kind of told me that it was nothing like it was almost like coming to yeah like a waterfall or something you're just coming across but it doesn't really feel like that for my first time here it feels like an actual tourist destination which I guess it is but 1.6 kilometers oh okay I think we're gonna take the free electric car a little very like a touristy thing to do now last time I caught a boat I bought a boat down the Mekong I got in the back of a pickup truck with a beer out traveled through the villages hopped out the back of a pickup truck and walked up a dusty trail to the pharmacy Falls so okay this is very very very different [Music] I'm stealing this is it this is where my you dropped it last time so this must be the dirt you're thinking of yes yes yeah okay so this is interesting look at the dogs so this must be the dirt that you came to last time this is where my you dropped me last time oh okay so you just skipped the bottom okay so now we have to figure out how to get to the falls from here I remember right okay never mind see this will take you straight to the park whereas there to take you through the Bears and up to the park and then we can come back down by this one so we'll go to the base first okay I know you can't see but there's one right there my camera doesn't Zoom far enough so I'm gonna try on my phone but he's just over there just chilling he's got some tires to play with very always scratching his face oh are they small they're small sizes um so what do you think oh the white one right one yeah maybe a large oh it's quite small yeah excellent yeah yeah maybe oh it's so cute that's nice yeah it's cute 150 wait it's okay I gotta share if you know me well I don't know if you do if you're new to my Channel or not but I don't spend money like I have the strictest budget I have to push her to buy things that I know she'll like so I just I just want to share because I saw the sign it said it's gonna free the Bears for two days and I'm gonna cry because I love animals so that's the size of the cage that there is that's this cave when they find them if you want to know how the bear feels when they're kept in them when the captain the Bear bar Farm Step Inside the Cage that's it what'd they do to them there so they're often kept for their bile which is over there like they're in their mouth yeah why Chinese delicacy I think or some Asian food delicacy if you don't want to spend 10 years in here what do you what makes you think the Bears do here and they're bigger than you okay put your head in the bear I'm gonna come around whoa I'm looking at the Falls it's like pure blue it's like turquoise oh it's free yeah it was freezing before it's freezing we've just come up to [Music] so we're just walking up a couple more like levels of the falls I guess I think that one back there is the main sort of tourist jumping one but look at this just walking through things like this it reminds me a little bit of the sticky waterfall in Thailand as well but mostly like Erawan Falls in Canada Brewery and these just keep going they stairs up into the next cycle level of the waterfall [Music] there's also a restaurant on this level in particular just up there smells like food here as well oh my God guys it's freezing oh oh okay please call it's freezing okay it's freezing oh my God it's beautiful though look look at this [Applause] [Music] [Music] already foreign [Music] oh yeah thank you you do it I'll get the money oh cool no thank you Michael wants to get a beer for our driver but what do you think you can buy them down the bottom okay I I did want to get him one but I'm not getting him an let's quickly talk about that so we gave him or Michael gave him a little bit extra when I huggled for the money we have a bit of a different route so Michael has his own business and he runs that every day I only work on YouTube so I don't make that much money right so my budget is quite strict I end up haggling for what I can afford um and then Michael ends up tipping what he can afford or how do I put it in a nice way well you you you haggle and negotiate like someone who travels in Southeast Asia we're on a tight budget and I don't necessarily have a tight budget so that way I can afford to help people out with tips on that so we do tip most people but not least yeah Michael likes to give a little bit more for that I can't usually provide so anyway I've gotten changed and now we're here at the Riverside it is so beautiful the weather is perfect not too hot not too cold I bought a jumper just in case it gets cold while we're on the boat but I have a feeling this is going to be absolutely magical I'm really excited okay what's your name [Music] so a little bit of information this is the cop file you can also just get them like a boat ride from a man on the side of the river but we decided to go with this one it was 15 US dollars each which is what 290 000 kids 260 000 Kips that was 260 000 Kip um you've got a welcome drink and then you have your drinks on top of that which you all add up and pay for at the end these boats leave every day around 4 15 they go for about two hours and you obviously get to experience the sunset the boat has started and we are starting our cruise for the next two hours I already feel it's going to be a nice Sunset I think today [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] but it is a massive part of the city this big Mekong River here so cruising down it just seemed to make sense afterwards are going to go to the night market as well so make sure you stick around for that because that definitely is a must-see when you come to bang so if you're coming here that's more than likely where you're going to have dinner so we'll show that after this beautiful sunset [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] Market we have a certain amount of cash left and it costs us money obviously to keep getting cash out we've been spending a lot of money on withdrawals so we only have a little bit left and we're leaving so we have enough for the tuk-tuk to the airport some food tonight and perhaps if it's cheap enough a present for my mum or a Christmas present A big one for the table the table anyone like this color cool oh it's okay I think this one might be best how much are one of these can I see you hunt four no no no no buy two buy two okay so we ended up getting two table runners Merry Christmas mum you're probably gonna see this that's your Christmas present um I actually honestly wanted to spend a little bit less than that but I felt a little bit I'm haggling over not that much money so we just gave it to her we've got to the end of that of that market it's so long it's full of so many different like handicrafts and handmade things as well so this is where all the food is now Michael is saying this is completely different to when he came he was saying it was more completely just street food right now it looks like it's like a food court kind of thing so we've got some restaurants on the outside with some seating on the inside uh but this isn't really what you remember it it's like your cultural dances oh there's dances over there this is all different it was just street food last time somebody ready is this chicken chicken okay I might get some of them how much foreign I'll have one chicken one one chicken potato this is as many people I've seen in Lao in total in this one night market so this is probably the busiest place I've seen in a while normally when you're walking through the streets like this morning there's not that many people around hey hey [Music] all right for some reason this has sauce everywhere so I hope it's not spicy let's try these are potatoes oh no spicy oh no oh no it's spicy all right hold on hold on my bathroom here is quite spicy this street is more more like it's more like street food it's got like stalls uh everyone's selling like a little bit more local food there's still some baked goods like this one this is sort of what I was picturing when Michael was describing the street food here in Laos so this one feels a little bit more local so with bacon egg yeah can I get bacon egg cheese yeah yeah it's okay and cheese yeah how much is that what 25 or two two sandwiches that's okay can I have a banana honey yeah okay okay yeah sit down please yes take away yeah we'll take it away yeah was this all juice you want a juice no juice out bacon egg cheese rolls hmm so good and for the price that's awesome I'm just in front of my home stay right now but this may not have survived the walk home it looks a little bit Bland right now so I'm sure it would have been a lot better hot fresh off the actual like pan it's not the best but I feel like I left it too long to eat it it's quite cold now damn so that is how you can spend one day in Long
