Yes Seiyun, Yemen Season 8 - Eps. 51 Good morning Internet, it is 8 o'clock in the morning and welcome back to the channel Welcome here to Seiyun in Yemen Now if you haven't seen the previous video then please watch that that will explain a lot because I am traveling in Yemen, not my usual way So today we're going to an amazing place in Yemen called Wadi Doan Let me show you on the map where that is So I am in the Hadramaut region of Yemen This is what we did in the last episode It kind of looks like a mustache But we went into one way and then another way came back to Seiyun And today we're heading towards this area kind of towards Mukalla In this wadi over here Ready to go to Wadi Doan I've heard so many really good stories about this place, so I'm very looking forward to today We are bringing some water with us, and this is actually from here from Hadramaut region From Wadi Alahaqaf or that's the name of it, Wadi Alahaqaf water This is amazing So we are now in a village or town called Al Hajarayn Really beautiful.. doors everywhere again So this area has been inhabited by several civilizations including the Hadhrami The Himyarites and also the Romans And that's because this region was an important center for trade and commerce But also the strategic location made it very interesting for several empires such as the Ottoman Empire and also the British Empire was here And that's why, when we entered this town the road was paved and that was actually done by the British What is her name? This bike is full of mystery! Hello So this is where I'm staying. This is my room And then I have a balcony See, I have a little balcony and then right behind those trees, that's already kind of the edge, and below there is the wadi What a day. I absolutely loved today And it was just amazing to be on motorbike And the scenery is incredible,all these villages It's yeah, it really blows my mind And yeah, I just really enjoyed today I'm just so happy that Kais really, he's really trying to get me on the bike and make it happen And yeah, it also helps that people are more than willing to lend out their motorbikes Uh, which is great So yeah, that was it for today.
