little bit on Instagram or TikTok I'm doing the presentation during of the world Revil of this motorcycle it is in red and gold today not black like that full black which goes well with this diet I've wanted to try the Diavel for years and now in addition with this new V4 it's going to be very interesting the V4 is the one from the Multistrada that we tried I tried on the chain the multistrad with address which was just extraordinary an engine wow and they put that there in the middle of this bike where we say yeah it's really something to dig other and in fact it becomes quite sporty well I hope it will dry during this test we we'll see and we're going to do a detailed test of this bike I'll present all the characteristics to you as usual and then we try on any type of road from the city to the highway, small roads and small country roads so the Diavel does it It's been around for 12 years and in 2023 it's coming out with this new V4 engine, the 1260, actually it's changed the bike, it starts at 27,500 euros so a nice baby for a price that's still quite high, the V4 so this engine in the shape of a V that we have verifies so it is rather L-shaped it's just a little wink in the air for balance it's 168 horsepower and 126 Nm of torque 126 Nm of torque it doesn't look huge but for a motorcycle it's gigantic for those watching often more the car side indeed on a car it is a small car but on a motorcycle it is much lighter because at the level of the weight of this motorcycle we are at 211 kg dry or 236 kg with the full facts and c it's 13 kg less than the old version, it also works really well, we have a rear arm that has been lightened and also this exhaust, we'll see, which is quite atypical with its cards at the back and the engine, so this this time it's an 1158 cm3 with the hop and down shifter and that's still really handy since the shifter makes it much more comfortable on a daily basis and when we're really going to start talking to each other we just have to I love this thing since it was invented it's I find it extraordinary in terms of salary height it is 790 mm so I am 1m80 but you can see that I am really good with good people folded so even someone quite small will be able to climb on it easily I think even a 65 meter normally it should be fine for you in terms of the packing of a wheelbase of 1593 mm and above all something very important on this bike is that the angle here has been closed by 2 degrees which will make it much more manageable than the old one even if the old one was still rather correct the fact of closing in fact makes the bike much more directive and more incisive also it benefits of course one of all the driving aids that we find nowadays we have a 6-axis inertia unit so that means like that like that like that like that like that in all directions in fact the bike will calculate all the parameters you be on your tongue whether you are accelerating, braking and others so there is ABS there is anti wheeling there is Traction Control Traction Control on the angle ABS on the angle in fact everything is configurable on this motorcycle and that's crazy there are still on racing motorcycles there are other even crazier things but already what we take up on the technologies of everyday motorcycles it became quite impressive there also has a rain mode so the rain mode or the wet mode which shines from the motorcycle at 115 horsepower it allows in these conditions to have a little less torque a little less power which can be nice because we are still fitted with Diablo Rosso 3 tires they are tires that grip quite well and in the rain with so much power you must not do too much clever thing also to know that the V4 heats up a lot when I had the multi radars summer was oh well they still made progress on it because below 4000 revolutions for the video of when we drive quietly we have the two rear cylinders which are deactivated and that is really a plus because it is the same even when the engine is stopped it will only have the two front cylinders which will turn so it means that the engine heats up less and it goes up a little less for us so in winter conditions like that it's not a problem that the engine heats up a little bit but it's true that summer is more in conditions like that so if this bike it's going to be a plus when we're going to be in town it's going to be a little less hot between the legs at the level of the suspension at the front we have an inverted fork of 50 mm diameter that's just huge already at the time the 40 mm it was just crazy 50 mm it became gigantic and therefore as I said with an angle a little more closed at the level of the travel we have 120 mm on this front fork and at the rear on the Saxe shock absorber we have 145 mm which is 15 mm more than before and this fork a fork a marzo which with the compression and rebound adjustment just here on the front then a small pressure here or on the side it starts the bike for me of show you on the side then what it looks like at the level of the levers here we have of course totally r levers adjustable Brembo lever for the clutch as for the brake and you will see during the fact that it brakes very very well on the side it is one of the motorcycles that I find the most wow and I admit that I do khaki that him even doing the Panigale I find it extraordinary even at the time the 999 with the three lights there Ducati they always knew how to make me dream the side we can see it quite long the bike looks a little bit American motorcycle big disc here of 330 mm pinch in radial with Brembo brakes from what I understand it's the same braking as the Panigale frankly a finger on this lever is more than enough to stop you and yet it's a big baby but just one finger it brakes so much that's enough 10330 mm here at the rear we can see that the disc is integrated on the other side we have a 265 mm disc pinched by a double piston on one side with the floating caliper we can also note new rims new front rear rims I mean 17 inches so no n 120 at the front and 240 at the rear you can also have in the settings menus a setting for the tires so depending on when you drive on the circuit or other to re-set the profile of the tire so that the Traction Control is managed even better in relation to the benefit of the tire and the pressures that's quite impressive on this side we can of course notice this exhaust with its four flutes there is another Racing exhaust which was originally developed to be on the bottom and finally which has not been homologated because of noise and emissions so a little bigger on this side but we can still have Racing when we switch to sport mode I have the impression that there has a kind of small valve also which is released inside and it feels good on this side there we have everything in aluminum so for the brake the other side we have the shifter up and down the same we have frankly beautiful parts it's pretty and the little reminder multistralicie Gran Turismo so that reminds us r what's on the Multistrada you can clearly see the yellow shock absorber so that's a small detail that kills but I find it really cool when the shock absorber is yellow so we have the little tank on that side and the adjustment here little thing that came back that's it so the rear footrest so which hides on this side the opening for the saddle and the saddle I recommend that just after how it works but the footrests which are integrated and I find it pretty and especially the fact that it has just hidden there is nicer than something that stays all the time at the level of the tank here we have a 20-litre tank which gives a range of 300 km to about 300-350 depending on how you are going to roll the wheels here the integrated license plate support which of course incorporates all LEDs, LED lighting and LED turn signals, also films which support which comes back to the side because I I really like it's this on the side and i think people when they get behind they say it's massive with the shock right in the center there it's very sexy here so you can see the plastic shell there but you can remove it and be removed here where we can just put the small papers of the motorcycle we have a small Allen key which is made to precisely remove this shell with a small support here and it's all the same a disk block I'm not sure it's okay here so I'm going to give you a little presentation of the buttons here on the left and on the right so on this side there are the calls headlight we can see it even there it lights up the Full LED really well here we have the modes so we can choose either to scroll the menu from below right here if I keep it pressed it will scroll the menu at the top like I'm in sport mode, we even have a modelap, we have a phone, etc. and for the don modes c I stay pressed in this way and then it will choose my mode for me so we have sport touring urban and what we see that each mode really has its affiliation for the Traction Control the BS the Wing control and the Quick shifter so there for example we can see that in sport it is in two we can see that in Touring it is in 3 we can see that the Wing control in urban there is a 4 and on wet almost everything is in 4 and the drop in 3 and we can adjust on several levels so each time the configurations we want that we can configure it and then to come out I quit again and I arrive at the home screen of the regulator so to activate the regulator I press this way it activates it for me and then I do 7 here to adjust my for laps if I am on circuit the music the phone if I connected all that same configuration and I p them then go to the menus and I'll have all my info displays info fuel games DRL it's for the lights configuration of the display we can have a PIN code if you forget your key we can start the motorcycle thanks to code PIN the trick is if we are on the track the date and the time tire calibration the Bluetooth if I want the indicators how I want them the language the units what I want in km/h or in miles and info so we still have a lot of things with such a review driving mode so driving mode here I can go and customize my modes directly each time I can get feedback it's quite practical when I want to change modes so I go back like it's back hop so on the other hand what's annoying is that you have to go back here to leave to come back to this screen when I changed mode I'm going to go back into the modes while keeping pressed on the right and then I change mode to change mode it will practically be necessary when you are driving to return to zero on the accelerator handle and then at this moment that is what will validate the entry into your mode on this side there a tank therefore which always opens with the key which is not yet automatic in which leaves because I am sitting here we still have enough to tighten the tank a little bit with the legs we have space even if we have long legs and if we have a little bit lower we have enough to hold our knees a little here at the level of the feet so as the toe clips are really a little bit in front of the buttocks we will sooner tend to land here on the small heel so which gives something more natural that when you're like that you really have to go on the attack also something else is that the handlebars have been moved forward by 20 mm which is more practical for the position rather than before we were really too much forward and I confess to you that then I am a meter 80 I am pl pretty good on the bike it didn't bother me yesterday to do an hour and a half on the bike and I think I'm also going to have fun today on his handlebars well I think I told you pretty much everything there- on it now all we have to do is go for a ride and see what it looks like on the road well let's go with this bike I'll get you back well so you can see me well and we're going to start the test so we start in town we are going to go on the small roads a little bit of national highway see at higher speed what it gives also so first thing we put on is we equip ourselves well with the gloves and we are going to start and go straight away circuit breaker and here we go so the display here we can see it there everything is closed there is nothing in there the keys are here that's good so I'm ready so we're going to start nicely so the bike is in sport mode I'm going to put it back in Touring mode which is the slightly cool mode to use on a daily basis and presto I validate so there the Touring mode is flashing and then it comes to validate if I was riding I would have had to release the handle and that I reset it so there we feel that we have something quite nice all the same well well it's gone so first so we have the clutch all the same for the first and then with the shifter we will be able to pass without even needing to engage the clutch from the first a second and others so we start cool and look from the first I can pass my second and it's fluid it's pleasant flashing it easily gets on the bike this ride quite well we feel that as soon as we takes a little to the side the handlebar takes us and who had done I'm going to redo a little bit because mosquitoes in my eyes it always hurts that I can completely close this helmet so you'll hear me even better so bah in the turns in second it's nice I can ride around town what I like with this type of motorcycle is that in fact it really has two identities a bit it's Mister jeky and Mister what is it we can go there cool but we can also get angry so we'll see it in Sport mode right after we can leave really quietly so what is good is that it is very expensive to be at the bottom with the shifter the shifter in fact makes it really very pleasant and what's good is that it's an up and standard so I can thank you Madam they blocked the street there but I can start again very easily with the shifter so there what is good is when you are on a motorcycle it is that normally you can dodge a little bit so does it pass so there hop maneuverability test the miswiring the handlebar is not too wide so it's rather practical so is it going to go through it or not because it happens it's ok thank you I take a video to shoot anyway and there the advantage of the motorcycle so the shifter 3 4 and I can drive at 2500 rpm c it's serious the same to be watched up to first gear so it's more made to be high in the revs especially for downshifting the flashing button we have we catch well and the bike is nice and the shifter really has this side we say to ourselves yeah it makes you want to push always more always a little more the damping there on the speed bumps it was rather pleasant we feel that we have a firm motorcycle all the same when we have nests like that but there it's not too awkward afterwards I like that it's a little too firm a motorcycle rather than too soft because we feel better what we have to do then today today I you saw there I really haven't ridden in the towers and it's a motorcycle in fact that really wants to go up fairly quickly we're not necessarily going to take the speed bump but we put ourselves in 4th so I don't know if they have revised the thing a little bit, we're going to the mitistrada I have the impression that it hits a little less low in the revs but from 2000 revs it goes below it's better not to be there but it's really nice and like taking a little bit on the side and I think it goes quite well and even looks very nice in the towers there I'm just in Touring mode if I need to restart the V4 we feel above 3500 revs there it starts to go strong and we will see after a while on the small country roads because it gives what it gives more to the diet but in any case for the city as you can seeing it is quite pleasant and above all in fact it makes you want to ride in a chill way like that but from time to time you feel that you are going to be careful because it is still a little bit wet but it really makes you want to from time to time time to have a little fun and fortunately there is not a line that is too noisy park and I admit I would like to push the reports a little more often so it would be funny to see if we have a hill start aid it's that some motorcycles do it no I don't know if it will be tilted here and after we can still put downshifts which I like so hop it's been a year we don't have the data go to handle it in any case it's fine and it passes all by itself the reports and it is true that it is very pleasant but for example even in 5 bah in the turns then there I find that I am a little low it hits a little bit but if necessary in fact we s I don't even realize that the bike is very comfortable, I have a good position on it and in fact it picks up again on its own, you don't really feel the speed and if I drop the gears a little, the V4 I don't think I have. much to say about this engine and what it likes above all is a little higher in the revs okay I'll take you back on rolling fire come on we're going to move towards more rolling so there a first small roundabout we're going to be careful it's wet the bike is taken away rather easily so I was told that it affected easily the toe clips but in ride mode without attacking normally there shouldn't be too much trouble to touch the toe clips go we feel that above 5000 something is happening frankly she is super nice I'm quite amazed I'm starting to get carried away and in fact it's the ease with which it gets carried away so there we are at 90 we're good 90 I'm not taking too much air I pass the 6 we're going to squeeze here it's 110 here so when you drink 90 to 90 below 4000 we feel the engine knocking a little so why not get back into five for you know that it's like we don't feel the vibrations too much and that it's with more inertia but even if I get back into 6 with the shifter this which is good I was overtaking that's it I just did a 90 115 instantly so there is torque from low revs and if I need to go back even there in fact it will go very quickly which is good that's that I have enough confidence in my Traction Control so I can put gas and the bike normally will save my life hop so here I am in Touring mode it is the mode that we can use all the time otherwise as I told you there is also the wet mode so the wait mode which restricts its power a little more so I validate it cut the gas he tells me to release the brakes and so there he will activate the wet mode and from the moment with flashes more is that it is good on the other hand we feel immediately that in wet mode we have the 115 horses and we have plus the 168 so there for example I'm on the corner I can tell myself I'm going to accelerate a little bit and I feel that the throttle grip is much much softer and that's nice when you want to get this bike out and that for example it's a little bit humid because we don't want to get wet I drift all the time unless you have a pilot there are some people I know who like to slide a little bit with me it's not really my case so much in the car drifting it's not a problem but on a motorcycle it's not the same even if we have a fairly long beat but in my opinion it's one of the bikes where it should be a little easier since a super sports car it's not really my thing so I can pass my reports and we're going to go back to 110 here go to tighten even in white mode there is enough power and I put myself in 6 I also have my regulator so there I can put my regulator at 110 and there I can really let go of my hands the bike is super well balanced even at high speed the suspension filters quite frankly I have no problem with the suspension I find it rather comfortable and pleasant still on the right lane there for example it will hit the cats a little bit on the other hand so we feel that it is firm and yet they have reworked the suspension at the rear a little bit so there I am at 110 I a little bit of wind but it's ok with the legs I'm fine it makes you want to ride it feels good it's sunny today it's not very hot it's 12 but with a little ray of sunshine we're happy to ride a motorcycle and after the same so if I want to push a little bit to 130 I just accelerated a bit even in white I double and I'm going to put myself here at 130 and the same I can adjust my regulator to 130 more wind but it's ok maybe a little wind on the front light it will be a little more but in real life it's not disturbing go quickly here we need to accelerate there is frankly sufficient stimulus and the regulator in short I find it super pleasant when we are on the way but especially when we have the kind of motorcycle in fact we really want to accelerate a little little stronger than in the end it's quite interesting to have the cruise control because it pushes us precisely not to accelerate too hard all the time here we arrive on small roads you know more fun there is a little winding I can withdraw from web mode I go back to my menu here and here we are going to switch to Sport mode which seems not bad to me so acceleration I cut the gas it validates me it flashes it activates the mode then in sport there is more than so there in three I immediately feel that the bike has changed its behavior so we don't have a controlled suspension the suspension remains the same but the engine does the response to the accelerator is totally different and even if I go down a little bit in half on everything I don't even want to put the gas on full throttle because I know but if the store goes all the way I'm going to lighten the front a little bit I'm not a fan of wheeling especially with this kind of big bike even if an anti wheeling but damn the brakes no we can really test the braking before look I brake just with one finger it is more than enough for me to stop even almost in an emergency situation one finger it brakes more than enough well and on the Rexels the cow we quickly pick up unmentionable speeds but I admit that it's a pure delight come on we're going to get a little higher speed there are a few turns from here so I'm positioning myself well manage my tank I'm taking the bike she gets along super well in fact with the steering control effect that's all that makes it a little bit in fact we really want to take him not in a sporty way necessarily but really in a cool chill mode and it's going well and in real life I'm super serene on this bike what I know that if I need it to take well even the rear brake which is good is that in sport mode it still leaves a little bit if I need the ABS in fact she's not going to block block right away she lets the back play a little bit it's quite nice the same shifter if there is need it's hyper active we don't need to say to each other so wait I have to disengage I have to give a little boost I get the report in fact everything is done automatically and that's still a good thing to shift when you want to go a little more sporty so I'm not sure if it's me but I have the impression like Sport mode the exhaust and a little more open on the other hand, on the angle, be careful, recovery in sport mode, the Traction Control is calibrated completely differently I take and it goes well like here and there for the acceleration in addition up to 11000 rpm almost and it's going really well good come on we're going to switch to really sport mode [Music] it works well super pleasant finally even on the curves there only one desire is really to go there what and there it is a little dry no yes it's really we feel that the toe clip is not very very far from the ground but hey I don't necessarily want to go and have it rubbed and serve again in the cow Yeah it works well it works very well the most impressive thing is the braking I think on this bike we say to ourselves that it's very big but it brakes so hard the calipers at the front there amazing it really looks like a sports bike in fact the rear brake slows down well it is free well the bike in fact we arrive very quickly at the next turn in slow motion he's doing great and even in 5 there are so many couples and raises that works so what I like with this kind of motorcycle is that we don't have a bubble on one side and that allows us to say yeah it's true that we're going a little fast that we get caught a little ahead in the helmet and again there I have a helmet which is rather well profiled which is quite comfortable for the aero but it is only with certain others and there I drop the gears and I relaunch you have to hang on and still I don't put a handle in the corner because I know it's going to be too much in fact and in fact it's going to lift me so much in front go there I put full throttle there are 6000 laps to go in fact I can't stay because it's starting to go very very quickly it's amazing it works very well there is really something like mouse with the motorcycles it warms up and controls on this bike it's not crazy at ducatis we say we're going to put a Launch Control I'm not going to do it because I'm afraid in sport mode that I like I don't know if you saw a kind of shiflight on the speedometer so I'll show you again, well we get to the revs it goes to red again there on the speedometer we light up and it actually just allows with a little glance in fact we have in the corner of our eyes saying to ourselves it's time to pass the report and it's very visual and even when I look closely at the road in the distance I can see it, it actually allows me not to go to the switch and as I say in fact we arrive very quickly at the next turn following it is super well balanced it creates a motorcycle, no, you'll have to slow down, what a pity, then you'll have to speed up, okay I dare not put gas in large so what's good is that the saddle keeps me in the back so that I don't go too far because otherwise there's less to shift backwards quite easily and that it is not very hot to be sure that the tires stick well there's really something to have fun I missed it I'm happy that the balls I'm coming back we'll be able to redo motorcycle tests and I think that for a good start to season 7 Diavel largely does the job and above all that it regales what we have a little debrief well then in the end this Diavel what do we think of it on a totally brutal motorcycle with this cylinder case when we are in sport mode but which also knows how to behave well when we are not quiet there even between cars in traffic jams it's a very pleasant little thing it's a motorcycle we sometimes drive very slowly in fact we're already going very quickly 50 km/h in town be careful to watch the speedometer carefully because we get used to it very well and in fact we are so good at it that we just want to drive and even at high speed so I made two or three small accelerations a little above the limit it goes there frankly without any problem watch out for the allowed because even in 6 in fact we can find ourselves in 6 very slowly we are at 3000 4000 we do that and it shows it goes up it goes up it goes up and it stops more and in fact even in 6 we have a lot of couples all the way down and the bike starts again but without flinching all the time it's super nice to have a big engine so it's nice to have a big engine but you really have to be careful with your licence, on the other hand, you're on the corner or other, you accelerate gently, you really accelerate, in fact, the bike will be fine and it's it's a good compromise in all situations I found at the level of the seat I was fine the saddle is rather consistent I haven't done hours and hours of motorcycling but for everyday life I think that for the 'using an hour and a half two hours wasn't bad for me, I used it quite a bit in the Paris region in addition to this video in traffic jams and in the end the fact that the handlebars aren't too wide, that's under the wire all the same everywhere because there are often bikes in this style there it's very wide or very forward handlebars but in the end my position meant that I could pass between the cars quite easily I didn't try the old one but I think that the closed angle on the front helps a lot with handling and because even e in town well I was quite surprised I did not expect it to be so easy and so accessible as a motorcycle because I
