Mont Tremblant Village & Hiking Mont Nixon
Hola,i am Stephen from Ontario Canada, hola i am Guadalupe from Playa del Carmen Mexico, and this is Mont-Trembalnt. Now your destination is on the left. here we are look at this house cute.
We have arrived at our petite chalet here near very close to Mont-Tremblant we're gonna give the very short but sweet house tour it's really small, right? that's all you need a little living room the kitchen locked, washroom, we got robes where is the light? Fancy and in the backyard is here this is the best part a little duck and hot tube oh yeah so this is the place that we're staying for four days is like 15 minutes from Mont-Tremblant we are going to we are going to go tomorrow and see the village and see what is in there he's making dinner because i am hungry, What are you making for dinner? chicken and potato wedges, and What else? that it's, is in the oven I want to try that, okay let's go try i'm scared why are you scared? because you see like on the bottom don't have nothing i mean just you can see the ground yeah Here we go.. we did't go to the top of the hill because you need to have like a ticket if you want to ski but we know we couldn't take that and too many restaurants look like they are close everything is this take out only yeah so everybody just gets their food and sits outside and eats this is where you'll learn to ski, i should be here now um beautiful day it's like 18, 19 degrees, i thought that would be colder but not pretty awesome for end of march. uh so we left the village and uh i looked on my trail app it's called all trails that's really good ones they show you a lot of trails and you found this trail that goes all the way around Mont-Tremblant like the town yeah it's like six kilometer it's pretty cool along the river, and all the snow is getting melting you see this it's all paved like in the summertime you can use it for biking running we just had somebody cross country skiing go by but not much snow left that was melting coming off the mountain oh relaxing in the hot tub after a nice day of walking good morning guys we are driving to another trail that this is eight kilometers longer than longer than the yesterday that we did where we are going now nexon or i don't know how to say in french me either de montreal montreux montreblanc we are at the the trailhead parking there's probably enough room for 15-20 cars here and this is the entrance to the trail i'm not sure what any of this means so we just okay yeah we didn't know that we had to pay so we had to put something in here that say so we don't get a ticket, so we paid online we scanned a little code paid online and that's the code that we got so we just put it on the dash so we don't get a ticket yeah it's a national park so just like algonquin park you have to pay to go there too for the day so it was like 15 bucks for two people it's part of Mont-Tramblant park so you have to pay for daily access so here we go it is king of raining, no raining but, it is raining could run into some icy areas our last day here so tomorrow morning we get up and leave so we want to do some hiking yesterday wasn't real hiking it was on a paved trail so this is in the wild i gotta climb a hill right away this trail is such a challenge i mean like it's so slippery the snow is melting ice. we can not very steep coming up so far and that's hard to tell on video but it's basically climbing up the mountain and yeah the snow is turning to ice and there's puddles and it's raining and so far so good i'm getting warm yeah it doesn't take long so i didn't bother wearing a hat or anything i figured it would it would get warm okay it's coming up on one of the lookouts I got dizzy I guess that's lake, How do you say? you say better tan me um mountain let me take a selfie it'd be prettier in the summertime i hear water so there must be a waterfall somewhere this is on the other side of the lookout facing the opposite direction i found myself a trusty stick much easier we should buy some walking sticks for our hiking how did that get there? how did that get there? it's broken half so weird you can hear the water underneath the snow and then it comes out over here so we're at about 500 500 meters in elevation the peak is 655 and we've been climbing for a while it's like it's pretty hard the snow is slippery and icy and yeah , mud, muddy icy, moddy, snowing we're getting there we're almost halfway through the trail i think after an hour and 45 minutes or so carry on oh [ __ ] made it to the top 655 meters and just a little coat over there and then we start to track back downhill praise jesus we made it it's raining pretty good somebody had a campfire up here, lake superior hola somebody climbed it at one time oh we're on the last half kilometer that was a lot more challenging than both of us thought it was gonna be i'm sure just over eight kilometers now it's taking us over four hours almost four and a half my legs are on fire probably not a bad trail to do in the summertime but winter the snow and ice and everything makes it crazy so we're almost back to the car let's get back to the tiny house airbnb beer hot tube and then you can make dinner let's see we made it we're live we didn't have to call for a rescue i said we didn't have to call for a rescue so we are just living the airbnb that we are staying in this tiny and little house i like it i like it and we are so tired for the hiking of yesterday, my back sore i'm sore everywhere....
