London | Post Queen Elizabeth
we're still going toward our gates we're taking our time we're not in a hurry because um we have time a nice Airport I've been here many times, yeah have been few times; I think I've stopped here because you know I worked for the company that remember that company I worked for that has um their headquarters in North Carolina so I'm always coming here really anyway so what's your expectations for London this time that will be your third visit I have no expectations so which is nice because whatever happens you will be happy about it so yeah our gate is d10 yeah it's a long line so we are now heading to the train station there's a there's the station within the terminal so you don't have to get out at all so um we are heading there to take the train to our hotel so we are we get off the train the hotel Give us directions from the train station they told which station to get out of and that's walking distance to the hotel so we're heading there now it's a big sculpture we arrived at the hotel right here West Cromwell hotel and now we're on the bus, we just put our luggage there they are storing it for us because it's too early to check in now on the bus to Buckingham Palace we are only like a 10 minute bus ride and the bus stop is just in front of the hotel so you know it was really easy and then you just pay with your credit card if you have a credit card you just tap it on the bus and that's it they make it really easy yep so we're heading there to see Buckingham post Queen Elizabeth's passing so you know um if you've been watching our videos we went to London last May; this is just on the bus um yeah we just wanted to show you we are the upper deck in the bus right here so as you know we were in London last May um so we just wanted to see you know how it feels like since we had to come here for a conference so to Oxford really for the conference but we're stopping here in London just to see how things are after the passing of the Queen it's beautiful such a gorgeous day it's Hyde Park so the area is called Hyde Park but there's an actual park there too that's across the street Mario we were here before When we came here, so we were here beginning of May right, first week of May and now we're back, it's much more beautiful than when we were here in May, May was nice too but I feel like this day is beautiful, like 70s They were doing the construction for the jubilee, when we were here the Queen was alive, now we're back, the Queen is no longer here; we might have to go to visit, you mean Windsor Castle, if we have time we have five seconds to cross the street three seconds two seconds; this is all the countries that are part of the Commonwealth; ok, those big walls? India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and so forth, they have the Caribbean on the other side and Nepal Africa Caribbean Nepal yep that's for bikes we're walking on the bikes trail we're walking the wrong way where bikes are supposed to go but we're not the only ones a lot of people are illegal yeah we're walking towards Buckingham Palace just to see it, we saw it when the queen was with us so we're just gonna see the atmosphere there now that the queen is no longer as well I'm not interested in that I just want to see Buckingham Palace to see that um to see how it you know how it feels like without the queen, no so much walking we just came we just we just landed from the US this morning the hotel kept our luggage, but can't check in yet because it's still early here so I've got to give the information correctly yeah check-in is at 2pm so we landed at 8 30am. the time to clear immigration take a train we arrived here around let's say 10:30 about an hour ago 45 minutes the concierge agreed to keep our luggage, while they are preparing the room for us and we took a bus in front of the hotel yeah just to kill time because where we stay, we're about like you know 15 minutes from Buckingham Palace we need to go take a nap we didn't sleep at all in the plane, we haven't slept not even a wink for me; there's a lot of people here wow you guys cannot see them yet but um I can see a lot of people towards the palace. I'm still awake and alert so I don't feel like I'm not sleepy yet maybe that will catch up to me some point this afternoon, but the goal is we will be back at the hotel around 2pm, he told us to come before 2, we can check in at 1:30pm, so that's nice; hopefully, I will be able to maybe take a nap and we need to go check out a restaurant later that we yeah we take a nap and we go we're going to try to visit a Haitian restaurant, a Haitian restaurant in London so hopefully we can make it there and they are open and we can have a nice dinner there, we will take you with us later when we go that's kind of like you know the agenda for today the temperature is changing a bit yeah maybe because we of all the trees in the shade, it's should be right now maybe in the 60s it's high 60s right now like 65, but it's not that bad no but it's just a little chilly um in the shade it's windy alright this is the way we are, I have my hoodie, came back from the flight Heathrow international airport so like 10 hours no the time is 71/2 hours from Charlotte to London and one hour and a half from Palm Beach to Charlotte nine hours of no Sleep is that no it's more than that it's more than nine hours right but anyway any sleep at all; I'm lost ahead of me, a sea of people maybe it's the entrance to Buckingham to Buckingham Palace no people are just walking like yeah walking around we're here for a little visit, in some ways pay respect to the queen; we were not here for the funeral, but we came afterwards a lot of people, Buckingham Palace on the right yeah it's always a nice place to visit this trip is unexpected but we welcomed it it was not a planned trip but it happened we didn't have in mind to come here to Buckingham Palace again because our destination is Oxford that's where we're headed tomorrow but we're here for a day and we have nothing to do or at least to stay since our room is not ready yeah we're homeless for a couple of hours; when we were here in May there were nobody here but again this is the end of summer so plus the queen died so it attracts more people of course; so remember last time when we were here yeah they were having construction yeah they were building around it for the Jubilee this is where exactly the jubilee happened; the concert that people saw on TV no no she she didn't make all remember there are a lot of apparences yeah she couldn't make all of them but anyway she's not even here anymore so may she rest in peace I am surprised I don't see people bringing flowers even in the beginning they moved them yeah because it was too much you were filming last time exactly here the last time I put my hands inside but I'm not supposed to, you if get arrested, there are much more cops here today, if you get arrested I will be outside with a sign: Free Viviane, whatever thanks for the love Please Subscribe guys to help us grow our Channel thank you for thank you to all our current subscribers thank you for the love we welcome all the new ones hit that subscribe button hit the Bell the notification Bell so whenever we post a new video like the video you will be notified like our videos like, please comment, yeah comment we need your feedback this is a bike tour low battery.. There is a small growing community. Not as big like USA, Paris, but it's growing I have been here over 15 years; Haiti-Paris; Paris-London; I came to study and here we are the restaurant's clientele has a good mix of Haitians and other nationalities we decided it's packed they were going to squeeze us but it wasn't too comfortable uh where we were sitting so we decided we're going to try to come back maybe if we have the chance um next time but it was nice to come here to see the restaurant Haitian restaurant in London we gotta say thank you to our friend we have a subscriber friend who told us we gotta find Haitians wherever we go there there's a Haitian community wherever we go, so friend you know who you are thank you since we couldn't stay at the Haitian restaurant we decided to try to go to Central London especially the London Eye to find a place to eat there to have dinner there let's see so we're at the train station trying to see if we can find somebody to help us to tell us where to go which way London Eye at night; we see it during the day so we're gonna check it out at night and try to find some food there as well yeah we're gonna poke the eye wow London at night a little chilly right now it was beautiful during the day but of course you know it drops a little bit probably in the 50s like 52. something like that
I have my coat on Mario has his hoodie on you have your hood on it's lentil soup at a Lebanese restaurant, this is Falafel and we're still waiting for bread and we're still waiting for some more food yeah mix of lamb and chicken but we are already full with all the pita bread, the soup, the falafel as you can see it's gone everything is gone and we still have to deal with that but we'll deal with it and the way Mario is eating it I think it's good so this is the Lebanese restaurant that we just ate at, it looks like a house, it's so pretty with the chandelier maybe it was a house at some point and we killed the food man we devoured it oh yeah yeah somebody had to do it; it wasn't difficult to manage Like our grandson, Quincy would say: I done, I am done hope you enjoyed the video friends thanks for watching please consider subscribing thank you merci
