IS COLLEGE WORTH YOUR TIME IN 2021?
more and more people are telling you that college it's a waste of energy of time and resources and i tend to agree with them but there is still a reason to do it [Music] it's very windy i hope that you can hear me we are at the top rogers gorge and it's quite amazing i mean look [Music] so [Music] so [Music] so [Applause] [Music] one thing is for sure this wind really really tested my drone [Music] we are getting ready to go in a cave the bats cave or something like that yeah the bats came uh but first we are going to go here to this monastery because it's it's very remote here i'm going to try to film with the drone to show you how remote it is the road it's awful it's not even a national road not it's a farmer's road or something like that and yeah let's see how it's around here [Music] the bad parts about finding this cave is the fact that there is no indication there is no nothing to tell you go right or go left you just need to to try to find it by yourself i asked a person from the monastery and on there i asked her about it and she told me that it's in that direction but the direction it's quite fast we're going to try to see another route if not we are going to go to the car we didn't find any caves maybe and most likely we got lost uh we are going to just go back to the car and see from there what is our next destination meanwhile let me continue with the subject of if it's a good still a good reason for you to go to college or to a university and i believe so and i'm not talking here about the reason that uh yes if you need to if you want to become a doctor or a lawyer or engineer of course you're going to need to go to university in order for you to have all the expertise to be able to have that occupation no i'm not talking about that [Music] now i cannot tell you what to do to go to college or not to go to college i can tell you what i would do if i would be maybe in your shoes and that is i will try to find a college degree that doesn't need my presence all the time that doesn't need me to be present there every day and every week and in the free time i would go and try to have a job every six months in order for me to get more experience more knowledge about the different things and those job would be in different domains in order for me to know and to find out what i am good at and what i like and i don't like and also these things here are cool cool i always wanted to have the drone near one of it and now my wishes come true [Music] ready one thing is for sure i didn't expect to be so many cars here at fortress a greek fort is called histria they didn't expect that [Music] for uh fortress to be this big it was quite big this fortress at this time as the peak of the roman empire was the biggest fortress here in the territory of romania so yeah it was kind of huge a very interesting thing is after i read this plaque here i learned that these marks here are like 2 000 years old which is [Music] wow [Music] [Music] to be the most amazing thing about this fortress or about any other fortress or other old monument it's the fact that where i'm standing right now thousands and thousands years ago other people were doing the same yeah that's cool [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] i got myself a magnet college is a wonderful place for you to get to know yourself to learn to experiment to try different things and college also for many people it's a bad place or they regret doing it because they were doing just what they needed to do they were just learning about their degree and not doing anything is not going outside and not trying different things and they end up after four years of studying regretting taking college because they change because people change in four years we have another old fortress to visit it's called argamum or i know maybe something like that i don't know exactly how it's pronounced it's uh this one is also on top on over here and near the water near the black sea and the ruins are starting to appear the more you're going to go up the [Music] mountain [Music] what is cool about this fortress i hope that you can hear me first is that it's right near near the shores or near the cliffs i mean look [Music] [Music] you [Music] when you are between the ruins you don't see or think that this fortress was that big but with the drone i can really see how big this fortress really was [Music] and there you can make awesome relationships that are going to benefit you in the future another thing that you can do is after you are going to finish your high school take one year off go travel go work for somebody for free for somebody that you admire and after that after that one year decide if college is for you or not at the end of the day it's your life you do what you think it's right for you not what other people think that is right for you [Music] when my girlfriend and i decided to take this trip we decided to do it because we saw an awesome fortress and that's the whole purpose of this trip to come to this area and to see it and to visit it and it really looks amazing it's a medieval fortress and it's called an isala fortress and here it is [Music] [Applause] [Music] so [Music] [Music] [Music] do [Music] do [Music] [Music] [Music] we wanted to catch the sunset here at this place but it's going to be too
