IllumiNATION, a virtual celebration of lights across Canada
[merry bells ringing] ♪ ♪ [Grégory Charles] This is a very special holiday season that we are experiencing. Despite the fact that we are in the midst of a pandemic, I still have my heart set on celebrating. A powerful light inside me keeps my spirit high, nourishes my resilience and convinces me that we will get through this difficult time. One of the things I find comfort in, is that I'm not the only one feeling this way. I'm convinced that from one end of the country to the other, this same light shines in everyone's heart in Canada.
Would you like to come with me on a cross-country tour? What's the saying? "Sharing is Caring"? I can't wait to share these bright Canadian lights with you. Canadian heritage would like to acknowledge the territories and homeland of the First Nations, Inuit and Métis, who were on this land long before Canada came to be.
