it is full of day trippers i guess because we're only like 20 minutes from terengganu so everybody makes a trip over to enjoy the cotton sand beach and there's actually beaches all around the island there are these really nice walkways or bridges sort of connecting everything but we won't be exploring too much today because we are participating in a cooking class hopefully cooking and eating which is very exciting ivana and i were going to jump in the water but there's a bit of a jellyfish issue happening today naturally mike from dota explorers went right in full blast and swam with the jellyfish because he is a dodo after all now we're going to go participate in something i believe it's ketupat sotong i believe it's cooking and hopefully cooking and eating would be my assumption or or expectation hopefully yeah so big shout out to masters of malaysian cuisine m-o-m-c they're putting on this show right on the beach it's a cooking show on location which is pretty special so let's right now so guys it appears that outside there's a bunch of teams like professionals they got jerseys and they have team names i saw one called the angler mafia which is pretty cool so ivana and i have decided our team name will be seasick warriors seasick warriors yes i'm not sure what the dodo's team name is but i'm sure they have a team name too and i'm sure naturally mike and i will uh make a competition we have no plans yet but i'm sure we will go uh squid jigging competition the squid game let's call it that uh maybe mike wants some redemption for his uh noodle pulling attempt if you could even call it that anyway with all that said uh let's hit the overseas so excited for this team seasick warriors ssw baby is okay put the anchor right okay all right that was my first mistake you guys are you guys are fishermen i don't know yeah media media oh tourism okay okay your first time yeah all right we have made it to our first squid jigging location the boat is still you can see all of the lights around us are other boats shining the light to attract the squid so the jigging has begun although we have the king of the sea out here in this super large boat and i'm pretty grateful for it because so far my stomach is okay now if you remember from the vlog two years ago on the boat ride out here i was okay and then once the boat stopped i had about five minutes before i was sick so maybe in the next minute or two you'll see me get sick but hopefully not i'm feeling okay i have to say gigi has invented the best seasickness cure she says if you're moving yourself you won't get seasickness because because you just have to dance and then your body doesn't know that you're moving because you're the one moving that's right so stay tuned for the dance-a-thon so my work actually it's worth trying uh you look you look a little ridiculous maybe this is why they have a sailor's jig isn't there like a pirate [ __ ] a sailor jig this might be a legitimate idea maybe this might not be that it's the worst thing ever i think it's working man i think it's working okay so next up we're gonna uh try and get some squid from the depths below i will say i absolutely love this boat we got lights we got music actually they had some speakers playing we got a big area here the captain is not driving with his feet anymore he's actually driving with his hands last year real gps
