Great Canadian RV Trip p4
[Music] covet is still going on so we want to take the rv to vancouver island but first we need to pack everything up let's get the grill to get to the ferry we have to go from burnaby to twasen the fastest way to get to tuason from burnaby is through maasai tunnel but some trucker decided that he didn't really like the light fixtures so we have to take a route around it that's not too bad it'll only take a little slower but we'll get there there's supposed to be around three to four ferries today on the water but one of them broke down so we'll see what happens again there are seat belts on the part is it closer to the it's in window cushions in between caution and uh [Music] foreign sponsor [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] eat meat [Music] okay we're waiting for our ferry we managed to make it even though we took a tour away from the tunnel for our large rv it costed 145 dollars for the three of us now we're just waiting [Music] oh [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] we made it at the bottom of the ferry is where they keep the big cars and trucks we wanted to stay inside but they told us that we had to leave so it looks like we're gonna have to go upstairs and enjoy the scenery and oh boy it's a good thing we did it smells like hand sentences [Music] on the ferry there were very strict coveted restrictions everybody had to wear a face mask and about half the seats were blocked off from the public [Music] foreign [Music] so so [Music] i let them [Music] [Music] we're gonna go to boston here the ferry trip from tawassen to schwartz bay takes about an hour and a half which is also known as the vancouver to victoria route as you can see the heavy vehicle deck was not full only about a quarter full the small car deck was nearly full though so [Music] um [Music] [Music] we made it to vancouver island at 1 30 and now we're going straight to our campsite despite all the obstacles we finally made it to the campsite this is goldstream campsite and has pretty nice forest so [Music] foreign [Music] i'm definitely lowered branches foreign foreign um we couldn't make any reservations at the campsite it was on a first come first serve basis luckily we snagged one of the last camping spots by the next day we start our adventure we are going to explore the southeast of vancouver island it's not an easy task to maneuver this big rv i was dad's personal traffic controller so that way we don't break any branches on the campsite and he forgot to take us [Music] so we're at souk point it's a beautiful view onto the water [Music] okay suk city was actually supposed to be our first stop but there were so many attractions along the way we couldn't resist it [Music] it's not gonna be [Music] we're at french beach and it's quite windy rocky and cold here [Music] [Music] [Music] um [Music] [Music] look at the center of the horizon do you see it it's japan and nothing in between leaving souk and going north towards port renfrew the roads are windy so we had to go slow but that's okay because the view was worth it [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] don't ask me where this was i don't even remember there were so many beautiful spots that i just can't remember all of them and this is port renfrew very small and sleepy town [Music] we're at port duren for you it's 121 kilometers from victoria [Music] [Music] we're at botanical beach and there's a lot more people than we expected and we were lucky again our rv can't just take any regular parking spot we need one where we can fit luckily we found one on the second circle around doesn't this forest look straight out of a disney movie i mean look at all the moss botanical beach has a unique shoreline framed by ridges of shale and quartz this beach is also a popular day trip destination for visitors wishing to observe this sensitive and unique ecosystem viewing is best done at low tide when visitors can walk out across the flat sandstone and granite outcroppings to view the tide pools filled with brightly colored marine life [Music] baby [Music] [Music] this place right here looks kind of like you collect by tofino [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] is [Applause] foreign it's our last day here at first we're planning to go around see a bit of things and then go on the ferry and go home but as it turns out it's pouring so it looks like we have no other choice but to go home we made almost 500 kilometers in this trip we spent three nights and i'm brand ambassador for peanut butter [Music] we drove almost 500 kilometers during this trip we spent three nights all in this campsite right here [Music] [Music] so [Music] you
