Do many people in the  Philippines make it this way? Yeah, you can. You can see in the mall. This lovely young lady invited me and said, "Hey,   do you want to eat some batchoy?" And  I said, "Yes, because I'm hungry." Well, at least I caught some of the  sunset. Still don't know where I'm   going to sleep. I guess I could  sleep out here, but I don't know. I don't think this place gets  many tourists, many outsiders.

Hey, hey, twins. And that's another thing—I can't be camping  out here 'cause everybody knows who I am. Or   not already knows who I am, but like, I've already  been spotted and I can't just go set up my tent. What's up? Does this exit? Yes? Yes, it does.

Does this go back to the highway? No. But does it go to the side road? The weirdest thing—they built this brand  new stretch of road that... I don't know   if I showed you the beginning, but it's  basically just like this. It just ends.

Doesn't go anywhere, doesn't start from anywhere. Hello. The look on people's faces when they  see me—they're like, "Uh, who are you?" See, what is this? I think  I gotta turn back around. The road just ends. Oh no—it  literally just falls right off. Wow.

Dead end. I gotta go back. I'm from the US. Yes. This one? That's me. Yeah.

Okay, now we're going to eat some batchoy. This lovely young lady invited me and said, "Hey,  do you want to eat some batchoy?" And I said,   "Yes, because I'm hungry. And maybe I could  stay here—let me see what I can do, maybe." Yes ma'am. From where are you? I'm from the US. From the US.

Oh my god. Okay, I'm going to eat some  dinner. Okay? Wait, can I sit here? Hey, hey, you're a vlogger? I'm a vlogger. Yes sir, my name is Nick. Hi Nick, I'm Al.

Al, nice to meet you. Al, nice to meet you too. You sit here, okay? Oh man. Oh, that looks so freaking good.

Looks very good, looks very good. Looks exactly like what I need. Oh my gosh.

Original La Paz batchoy. Original La Paz batchoy—it looks so good. Chicharon, eggs, spring onion, pork. Oh yeah. Oh yeah, that's exactly what I need.

That's really good. Got all these egg noodles in there. Oh man.

Don't know where I'm staying yet.  Might have to talk to them. There's   a gazebo over there—I could always set up  my tent on there. We'll see what we can do. Lucky to have some dinner though.  I was getting kind of worried. What am I going to eat? I bought these mangoes—I didn't show  you the whole place. I just explored,

just kind of cutting through neighborhoods.  And then a trike rolled by and was like,   "You want some mangoes?" And I was like, "Yeah." So I bought four mangoes  for 70—60 pesos. So cheap. Oh man, that really did hit the spot. And I got an audience just watching me eat. Ganga? Ganga? What is it? Gaw? Gizzards? Chicken? Pork? Chicken.

Vinegar? No. Interesting. Chicken? What the—? I don't know what it is. The stomach.

The stomach? Okay. Yum. You want more? I'll eat this one. No? Okay. So up there—they are going to be kind  and let me stay here. They did offer. I can sleep up there, they said.

So I'm going to go explore,  see what it looks like. I told them I could just set up my tent right   here—that's cool too. But we'll  see what it looks like in here. Okay. It's dark. Wow. Here—you want to sleep here? You can put your mattress there.

Sure, everywhere? And there's a fan later? Cool? Sure. This would be great. All right. Thank you.

Okay, we're on. Okay, we're going to do some laundry now. Okay, I need to wash my stinky clothes. You want to stand over here so we  get an idea of what we're doing here? Oh yeah. Oh, oh—there he goes. There he goes.

All right. Washing a couple shirts, my shorts, and my towels. Oh yeah, get these washed, hang  them up to dry. Hopefully they’ll   dry really quickly. Then I’ll  pack up and get on out of here. Oh thank you.

Oh yeah. Okay, what’s your name? Leah? Leah? Leia? Mia? Beia? Beia with a B? Ah, okay. Leah? Mia? Nope, try again.

Beia. Hopefully these don’t take too long to  dry. They shouldn’t—that’s why I got them. Wow. Yeah, now that’s a lot of laundry. Every Sunday? Every Sunday is wash day, huh? How long does it take? How long does it take you to do one? One time a week? One time a week. But how much time? Like one hour?

How long? Six hours. Six hours? Geez, man—washing everybody’s clothes. Your camera—like there? Just like that, it's packing time.

And they’re hanging out with me,  still showing them how it’s done. And then after I pack the bike,  we’re going to go swimming! Yay! Okay, just kind of getting some things ready,   pack the bike, get the clothes dry,  and we're going to hit the beach. Yes? Sound good? Yes! All right! All right—to the sea! To the sea! Hey hey, go for a swim. They got some waves down here too—coming in. Nice to meet you! My name is Nick. Nice meeting you.

Nice to meet you, Jerry. Jerry? Jerry! Jerry. Nick—nice to meet you. This is my posse. This is my  crew. One Piece crew. Bodyguard.

My bodyguard, that’s right. We’re just taking a cruise down the beach. And about five weeks—I got it. It’s okay.

You already been here for five weeks? Not here, but the Philippines. So how about one night? One  night—it’s okay. I got it. I got it. Okay, and so this guy over here came and he  gave me some fresh sugar that they're making.

And so he's going to let me go check it  out. He says they're making it up in here. Good morning! Let's go! Thank you, thank you, thank you! You can let go—it's okay. Hey guys! Hey! Oh wow, this is how you make—wow, look at that. This is—we call butong-bang-bang-bong. That is crazy. It’s all made from sugar—and  peanuts and coconut milk.

Wow, look at that. Two different kinds, so two different colors? Later. Oh, so it's the same? So eventually it just lightens up a bit, huh? Wow, that is really cool. And what do you use this for—like peanut brittle? Or how do you finish it? What do you do? This is like a...

Got it. Okay, so this is basically it, huh? And you just slowly pinch it off  and eat it, like you gave me. Interesting. Mother? Uh-huh. Then this is the daughter? Uh-huh.

Ah, so this is the—okay. So this is like a family tradition? Family tradition—wow, amazing. They used to sell this, but now  they just make it for family. I requested it. Do many people in the  Philippines make it this way? You can see in the movies—like this.

Ah, so now we are on vacation here. Uh-huh. I requested to cook. Okay, so you came home and said,  "Oh please make some for me." I can see that.

Okay, then you wrap it in this? Yeah, I wrap in this—fresh and still warm. How it taste? It’s like taffy. I know taffy. That's good—it has a hint of peanut, huh? Peanuts.

That is really good. Thank you! You want some more? No, it's okay—maybe for the children. For the kids. Okay, for the kids.

Share, share, share, share. Chewy—I know, like it just stretches too. Everybody get a little.

That's really good. It's super chewy, obviously, as you can imagine. Kind of sticks to your teeth, but  it's nice and warm—they just made it. Before this process—where is  this? The step before this? Oh, here. Okay, there. It's coconut. Wow, coconut also? Yeah, yeah, that's it.

Oh, fresh coconut. Yeah, fresh coconut. Then sugar. Maybe one hour? Two hours? Like this—two hours.

This is a nice Filipino delicacy right here. How is it? Hi, how is it? How is it? Good! Really good. Yummy. This is the Nick Cake Posse right here! Here we go—we have another vlogger. Vlogger only. Action! Three—that’s okay.

Yeah, these are good cameras, man. This is really good. Very nice.

Thank you so much! Heck yeah, huh? How long is it good for?  I'm sure a long time, huh? Long time—but maybe after three days  it will... a little bit... okay. So, still good to eat—but if you can, eat earlier. Earlier is better. Yeah, it's so good right now. It's so good.

And do you sell this in the market or anything? Before. Before. But now—only to eat. Because we just take the vacation here. Okay—for YouTube, what would you like to say? This is what—Family Agular.

Family Agular. Family Lindo. Family Himeo.

Family. Family. Put it on your—uh, don't drop it! You want to hold the camera? Some cooked—this is a mundo banana. Mundo banana? How do you cook them? Boil. Boil—but it’s still sweet. Very nice.

Oh, that’s good. This is—I can suggest—when I go biking. Uh-huh. Oh, when you go biking? Yeah, I bring this one. That’s a good idea, huh? Very good. Oh, and they’re still warm.

They’re still good. It’s still on—they’re still on. And so, are all the children learning  how to make it too, so they can continue? Only this one knows. Oh, he needs to pass it on. Pass on the tradition. I told them—you keep on passing and passing. Yeah, of course.

Because of that one, you finish school. Yeah. And next—you need to learn.

And teach your son. Maybe. Maybe.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. So cool. Thank you, thank you, thank you. All right—see you guys! Thank you! Thank you! All right—let's go, Posse! Let's go, my bodyguards! See you guys—thank you! We are in the beach! Subscribe to the channel! Subscribe to the channel! Subscribe! Subscribe and like! Subscribe! You heard him—subscribe and like! Time to go jump in the water. Okay. Thank you for the food. The  hospitality—it was amazing. Great stay.

Okay, thank you so much. Thank you, you’re amazing. See you, see you! Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you! This way? This way? Okay, I’ll come back. Okay. Yeah, just goes out to the front. This way? This way? Okay.

See you! There’s a lot of houses up here. See you next time! All right. Okay, I think I got it. See y’all! Bye-bye! Thank you! All right, I’ll miss you guys.

Okay, see you. Thank you. Thank you! How nice are they? Can’t thank them enough for their hospitality.

So good. So good. Had a wonderful night’s sleep. Felt like I met the entire neighborhood last  night—everybody came by and said what’s up.

It was so nice. Auntie, she  made some delicious food for me. And man—just a really nice, wonderful stay. I think I turned into the part-time  babysitter there for a while—all   the kids hanging out with me the whole morning. That’s a nice one. Look at that house—wow. Hey hey, there you are! I got  to see you on the way out.

Hey, there you are! Thank you! Thank you! Play safe, bike safe! Thank you, I will. I use— All right. Okay. Thank you! Thank you! All right.

See you All right. Okay. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. All right.

See you. See you. See you. Incredible—what timing. Nice.

Nice. Nice. Nice. Oh, it's really nice out here.

I'm so glad I dipped off the main road  and came and scoped this area out. I mean, I do that all the time. It's usually a miss, but sometimes you get a hit. I love La Paz.

Yes—Elementary School. I'm guessing that's where  all them kids go to school. From here—San Jose. Dude just chilling up there.
