Escape Travel Trailer 21' Tour
want to see the 2021 escape 21c come on today i'm super excited to tell you that we are at the escape factory showroom yeah they opened it up for us there's nobody else here and we're super excited because when you buy an escape trailer you buy it factory direct so today we are going to show you the 2021 21c floor plan we'll do a tour of that we will link to the construction video that you can go learn about all the nuts and bolts of how an escape trailer is made the big deal that you have to understand is that you're not going to find an escape trailer on a dealership lot they are factory direct and the huge pro about that is it's so personalized you can go onto their website they're going to take you on videos of tours they're going to help you buy and personalize your trailer just for you it's a very cool process so today we're going to show you this one that's here in the show room and i'll try and point out i know i'm not going to cover them all but i'm going to try and point out which are the things are the personalized options that you can choose from that are on this particular trailer super excited to show it to you now don't forget in the description you're going to going to get to them to get any other questions that you have answered so let's get on with looking at this great trailer so the 21c now remember the the escape is a all fiberglass unit so this is two pieces and go back to that construction video because you're going to learn a whole lot more but one of the options that you can get is this huge container storage area and it too is all fiberglass and it acts like a rock guard up front here for you and it's really big they can also put batteries in here different trailer floor plans have them in different ways but they can go there you're getting two 20 pound propane tanks and you're getting an electric jack so the electric jack and this case are both options and there's a ton of storage in here and i just wanted to show you how this actually closes you just pull on this little thing and down it goes it's a really nice large amount of storage but i want to show you some more on this side also this particular one has the frameless windows another option and then moving down to the storage area through this little door you have the clip which you know are my favorite i prefer magnets but check this out this is a small trailer with a holy cow amount of storage the other thing i want to point out while we're in here is that you could see the black tank was in there now most of the tanks are underneath there is not a fully enclosed underbelly but it's an option to fully enclose it with a spray foam insulation so some of the tanks are inside some are out you can also get an option to put the heat pads on those tanks so this one also has a outdoor shower on this side another option and then coming back here is a cable porch lots of nice lighting and moving down you can see this is where your sewer drainage is with your black and your gray pulls so important to note that when you put the spray foam in you are enco encasing the whole bottom coating it with the spray foam but your valves would still be outside and could be subjected to weather coming back here is your water filth for city and to fill your tank and coming down you can also see underneath here you do get four manual stabilizer jacks i also wanted to point out to you while we're down here here's your fresh water tank and you can see this is an upgrade an option the different sensors that can go on the outside of the tank to tell you about the level and fullness or emptiness so uh yeah that's an option as well here is your 30 amp uh cord connection and then coming around to the back you do get your spare tire mounted back here you also get a backup camera option and moving down i notice that there is a receiver hitch here and it says it's good for up to 150 pounds so that's cool too let's go around to the other side so coming back on the passenger side and the door side of the trailer there is more storage here again with the clippy thing and i just want to show you because in this storage you can see there is the 1500 watt inverter and the case for the lithium batteries because the lithium batteries don't need to be vented the same as the lead acid so that's telling us that we've got the solar package on here and go back to the construction video because i do give you more details on that but there's probably some panels on the roof here so that's nice here is an electrical outlet and you do get the torsion axles 3 500 pounds each this one's got the steel wheels and let me see what these tires are rainier st st20575r15 and again in the construction video we talked about the ability to lift this to get more clearance under there so that's another option another this particular trailer has another outdoor shower on this side and again you might say to yourself really they have two it's your choice these are the option type things that you can choose for however you like you do also get an electric awning which will have that beautiful led lighting in it that you know i always want and you know what else i noticed all over they've got these little levelers on here because these are true lightweight trailers so you're going to be able to set this up and level it quite easily coming around you do get a bathroom window which is also an option i love that now i want to talk about the stair system this is a steel stair and it is going to be the lift and tuck in you're going to want to make sure you take care of these because this could be a potential for rusting but if you clean this up and take care of it in weather it should be just fine for you also right over here is your quick connect for propane for your barbecue or whatever grill you want to use next let's take a look at the door here oh it's coming okay it's not a friction door it kind of just opens on its own because it's on this pneumatic system here that is going to hold it open for you and it's going to take you some strength to close it here is your screen door quite nice you also get this frosted kind of translucent uh cover on this outside window just want to take a closer look at that oh because it's the beautiful frameless right very nice alrighty so let's go inside and take a look at the 2021 21z escape trailer come on all right here we are in an escape trailer this is the 21c now remember i'll give you all the numbers on these but they are a narrower trailer easier to tow true lightweight uh moves us into the kitchen here first of all you know i love the window take a look at those blinds we've got some led lighting here this is the maple package just so that you're aware nice wood doors storage up there is plentiful a little tough for me to reach but good and you know i love it when they put this type of a hinge on there so that it keeps the doors open coming down to the counter you get this beautiful faucet which is nice and large and it comes down to a single stainless sink now choices are you could probably get a bigger sink in here or you can keep this lovely amount of countertop space so that is fantastic this is a plywood counter with formica on top and then it has a trim here so you know that's not my favorite thing but as long as it's all sealed up well i would also like to see this beautiful cutting board have something different than the formica on the top because if you wouldn't cut here you probably don't want to cut there you do get the stainless backsplash which is a very nice feature and it is an option as well uh let's move down you do get electrical here here's the lower storage areas wow there's quite a bit okay so you've even got smaller here um because we're a fiberglass trailer all the plumbing and everything wiring is run just sort of down the walls and through the furniture and then you get in some drawers i really do like the drawers they're very well made coming back uh so here is your management system for your water heater water pump that kind of thing then you have your range hood coming down to this is the dometic three burner propane it is raised uh and it does have a cover um you do this is an option as well standard is a two burner and there is another option that is even lower and more flush with the countertop it does come with an oven and then there's one more storage cupboard down there so that's kind of nice too now you move back to the dinette area and what's interesting about this is that the table is on a slider so it moves and moves so that you can easily fit in here plus it has these angled edges table same as the countertop and this particular one has the spring base where you would undo these clips and you push this down and then it makes into a bed like any other rv space does also while we're down here i want to point out that there's a step up and and that is sometimes to accommodate tank space but also what it does is it can bring the seating up a little bit higher to make your view out the window work better so depending on you this this is a great thing for corey and i because we're sitting up higher and we can see better out these windows and there's some three nice sized windows here this is a big table and then the cushions are quite comfy and then they're going to make down into the bed and then you've got your blinds back here as well lighting on either side and more storage up in here and over here so that's great and again like the everything is built very nicely it does have a speakers in here and that is also an option so these two windows are split that's nice uh there is a usb and 12 volt charger plug in the side here of this one and then i want to take you over and show you here this seems to me like a big fridge i think it's a six cubic foot but i will check on that for you for sure and then coming down is more storage which is quite nice storage in there and we have here more storage and a closet like there's a ton of storage in here then you can also get the microwave option put in and this is a very decent height i would say for a microwave it's a small one but remember you had the option and got the oven in here going up while we're back here i just want to show you lighting that all the ceiling and walls are a vinyl that is super easy to wipe down and take care of you do have an ac this is the upgraded quieter ac i believe it might be 13 5 btus and there's a choice there as well coming back you get more lighting and you get the uh vent up there as well over here you get your furnace which is not ducted but these are small trailers and this is going to completely heat this area just fine for you more storage and more great drawers it's just loaded with storage and then this nice countertop with your sound system cable electric and more storage can you believe it also down here more electric usb 12 volts now i want to switch places with you because i want to show you even more storage but i have showed you this before so this is that huge storage space that we looked at from outside but you could access it here too depending on which things you want to put into which spaces now you are getting not sure what size of bed this is i'm going to go with a double but i will get the exact measurements for you um which provides you more of that storage plus more back here with more electric usb and 12 volt now remember when you're personalizing your trailer it goes that far you can actually choose where these plugins and usb and all that are put in i know that sounds crazy but you get the choice get a really nice shelf back here with speakers and reading lights loving that and i just want to see if the bed lifts at all i don't think it does no it's a platform because you can access it from either of those two spots yes we're in a small lightweight fiberglass trailer but you still get a wet bath how cool is that okay so come on in now you guys have seen us in wet baths before but this is all a beautiful one piece sorry two pieces of fiberglass but the the piece is uh together at the same level in here as you would find out there and it's all completely fully caught it has a good sink i mean you what's been our number one complaint in a wet bath is when they don't put a sink in so we get a sink toilet paper it's not in the way taps shower head window you do get this curtain that goes around probably not my favorite roller things in the curtain area you get a vent here you get a light a mirror that is at a perfect height with a storage cabinet behind it i love that you also as options you get to choose your toilet you can even get a composting toilet this one is an option because it has the foot flush on it standard is a hand flush but it's great now the other complaint that you've heard us have in wet baths is that the toilet's too high and this one is not it is still up on a base but it's not near as raised as some of them so we love that that is very cool okay so now i want to talk about the cracker barrel factor it's perfect everything about it is perfect and again no slides don't need to worry about cracker barrel you can pull this baby and park it anywhere and it's going to work just fine so let's take a look at the numbers next now for the numbers on the 2021 21c escape trailer very nice it comes in at 21 feet 4 inches exterior length and then i guess you add an extra six inches for that spare tire out there uh the x the exterior height with the ac comes in at nine feet the exterior width is seven feet four inches yes that is correct the interior height six foot three inches and the interior length so you like your living space uh 17 feet four inches the fresh water is at 28 gallons the black is at 22 gallons and the gray is at 28 gallons the numbers now i want to give you the exact numbers for weight the shipping weight on this particular trailer with these particular options provided 3961 pounds which gives you a cargo carrying capacity of 1039 pounds so that's impressive and then the way it works because your factory direct ordering is if you are an american citizen you would pay in us dollars you're canadian you would pay in canadian dollars so i'm going to give you prices based on that the uh us base price on this particular model is 28 995 then you add your options in and it brings it up to thirty eight thousand four hundred and fourteen the canadian base price is at thirty seven thousand two hundred and ninety five dollars and with the options it comes up to forty nine thousand three hundred and thirty dollars the other important thing to consider is shipping and getting it to you right so because this uh manufacturing facility is here in chilliwack and british columbia canada you can come pick it up from here with no charge whatsoever also included it would be shipping the unit across the border into sumas where you could then collect it from there at no cost to you if you need it to go further in other places then they start calculating that in and again because it's a very personal experience with you they would put that all together and give you those numbers so you would want to contact them directly to learn about that don't ever think that you're not paying for shipping when you buy something from a dealership we just want you to compare apples to apples it is always there because a dealership has to pay a manufacturer to ship the rig to their lot it is always included in the price that you pay you might not see it you might not hear about it but it is there so we just want you to know that uh so those are the numbers and this is a wonderful trailer and we hope you've
