The eastern part of Nepal has immense tourism potential, but a few people know about it. It has limited the number of tourists visiting the Eastern Part of Nepal. In this episode of heaven is Myth, Nepal is Real, we will be traveling to some well-known and unknown destinations. In this episode, we are taking you on a journey to Bara, Dharan Bhedetar , Dhankuta and Tinjure. Many people have heard about Dharan, Dhankuta, and Bhedetar but Bara District and Tinjure are not that well known among us.

Bringing known and lesser-known destinations to you in a different way has always been our goal. That is what we are working on for the last few years. We are more than happy to get an opportunity to explore some lesser-known places like Bara and Tinjure that lie in the Taplejung district.

We hope our video brings the same happiness to you [sponsers] For our travel series Heaven is Myth Nepal is Real, this time we are exploring East Nepal We'll be exploring Mainali Farmhouse in Bara district as well. We'll be exploring terai and hilly region of the East. We've been to the east till Sandakpur at 3636m above sea level.

We felt like we missed Dharan during that travel episode. Although I am from the east, Ive never been to Dharan As usual, our journey started from Kathmandu. After traveling downhill from the valley, we reached Naubise. Right now we're at Naubise Chowk, as usual we arent travelling straight towards Muglin.

We are taking a detour to Daman which we might reach by an hour. To reach our first destination Mainali Farm House in Bara district, we decided to travel through Daman. Sometimes we get to see new things when we travel a different way. RIght now we are in front of figure of Cauliflower and Potatoes alot of veggies were exported from this place to Kathmandu, in which cauli and potatoes were the most exported. Hence the name Palung comes after the spinach.

Right now we have reached Daman this is my first time here. Its a bit chilly here. Daman can be one of the options to travel near from Kathmandiu for 2-3 days to chill. But for now our destination is East Nepal.

After lunch we will be on our way The guys are having fun After that our stay will be at Mainali Farmhouse The road to Daman was narrow but comfortable. We continued our journey amidst the curvy roads towards Hetauda For us who lives in the city, the road surrounded by green trees is always beautiful. Daman's Road seemed like a beautiful destination in itself.

It took us around 7-8 hours to reach Hetauda We are picking up Prem's little brother here. We are gonna have alot of fun [dog barking] We just reached Mainali Farmhouse in Bara district A very warm welcome to the entire team. We'll be staying for 2 days and have alot of fun exploring Bara District My grandma, my mom and my dad. A land covered with fog, above it a sky painted in red, Mustard filled fields and plain fields where small streams were flowing were the things that introduced Bara to us. Sometimes we think, as we try to groom ourselves whenever someone is visiting us. In the same way, does nature groom itself whenever someone is there to visit? Probably bara knows its answer well.

All we knew was that the welcome bara's morning offered us touched our hearts. Organic potatoes from our own farm for lunch and breakfast today Whenever you feel like eating it, you just dig it out We shouldn't disturb them during mating season He is the 2nd main alpha here The alpha wont let him do anything He's also a Boka, he wont get to mate anywhere Only the main alpha gets to mate This is a system among animals Scientifically, animals tend to mate with strong and elegant partner No one accepts the weak one Animal Instinct Samip where are we going now? We will be walking for half an hour towards Patal Ganga inside Char koshe Jhadi The water in that stream generates from the ground itself That river takes care of all the irrigation system in our village. So we will be walking on fresh water from underground After having breakfast at Mainali Farm House, we set out to see one of the largest forest in Nepal and to enjoy the river walk at the Patal Ganga river. We had been hearing the name Charkose Jhadi ( Forest ), but we were unaware of what it was like to walk inside the forest. Bara made it possible.

Our whole body felt refreshed walking on the cold water of the Patal Ganga River. Prashu's slippers are slipping out He's doing it on purpose for the video People drink beer and litter recklessly Please dont litter in nature [terai street] We went for river walk and enjoyed the jungle view Now we are planning for camping Our Hiace is ready, we are packing all the necessary things We are cleaning our camp site. Whilst preparing for camping, the sun began to set After prep, we began cooking tea The setting sun was in front of us, a small river was flowing by the side and we could see a never-ending land surrounding us. As we were engaged in our talks the dawn turned into night. As usual singing dancing started and we were lost in the moment. We were creating memories.

As the night was getting darker our friendship was getting stronger. The next morning, vapor from the river was trying to move higher to the sky in the light of the morning sun. Morning peace was there as always as it is in the river bank. Slowly the sun started to show its face and with it, the landscape lost in yesterday's darkness showed up. A beautiful morning was printed in the book of our memories as a memory that would never be erased. After cleaning the pot, we will be making tea We just had our lunch We will be doing tubing which is 10 minutes away from here in Patal Ganga We also have Kayak and different river activities Whats going on? Cock fight We enjoyed tubing for a while, enjoyed fighting for the tube with our friends, attempted to kayak, and took full advantage of what Jamuni River offered.

After tubing was done we set our for cycling in the plains of Terai. Thank you for accepting my invitation I used to follow Nepal 8th Wonder since the beginning You guys explore all around Nepal Not just explore, you guys record the moments of different parts of Nepal You guys are promoting Nepal in both naional and internation level.v I explored my district during lockdown We have been looking down on terai You guys experienced Jungle walk, river walk and tubing Why not promote Terai I have been in the tourism sector for around 10 years.

They fed us very well, provided all the necessary equipements for camping I felt really happy you guys came, I feel like you are my grandson Now we have a reason to remember you guys everyday Dont forget us You are like a son to me Do visit us again When we leave home and head out for a few days, there is always a kind of unpleasant feeling in our mind. We experienced the same feeling when we were bidding farewell to Mainali Farm House that day.

It was as if we were separated from our own mother and Grandmother. We hope life gives us a chance to visit Manali Farm House again. We will have these memories to talk about when we visit here next time. After 2 hours we have reached Bardibas in Vinayak Hotel The food here is too good Everytime while travelling on this route, I stop here for lunch After having our lunch at Bardibas, we started our journey to Dharan.

specially in Kathmandu, Dharan is known as a developed place of the East and as a city of Gurkhas. In a way, It is true, but apart from that, Dharan has its unique beauty. We were heading towards Dharan to explore that beauty. Whats for snacks today? Chicken Roast Isnt that unique ? Show it to the camera [evil laugh] I can eat 100 of these The next morning we set out on a Dharan tour. Dharan belongs to Sunsari district and there are many famous places to visit here including Budhasubba Temple Gorkha Memorial Park Pindeshwari Temple, Dharan Clock Tower etc.

Its day 5, we are on our way to Budha Subba temple today we'll be exploring more of Dharan. So BudhaSubba temple was one of them beacuse people from different parts of the country come to this temple. He is from the east so he's been here many times. Welcome again to East Nepal We are gonna explore Dharan and enjoy to the fullest BudaSubba temple is a religious place famous for the tipless bamboo. It is believed that many years ago when BudaSubba and his sister came here to play.

BudaSubba fired his Slingshot and broke all the tips of the bamboo which made the tip never grow back again. [singing] After visiting the BudaSubba temple, we headed towards the nearby Dantakali temple. We came to know that the name of this temple was kept Dantkali Temple as it was established at the place where the teeth of Goddess Satidevi fell.

It is well known as a holy land for Hindus. We are now exploring Pindeshwori temple This temple is also one of the famous temple in Dharan. Pindeshwar Temple is another important religious site in Dharan. Here every Monday in the month of Shravan, the devotees come barefoot and offer the water of the Koshi river to Lord Shiva. [laughing] What is ragging? We haven't seen it from above, we just heard We will get to know after prem flies the drone This area when seen from above looks like a tooth. After tasting Dharan's famous PotatoNimki, we spent some time at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences and in the evening we reached Bagarkot. Dharan lies between two rivers One of em is Sardu This one is Seuti During summer, there was no place to chill Then the Bagar known as riverside was a place to chill, when there were small houses around here.

Now the houses are new and bigger Before there were small houses who made only sekuwa Pork sekuwa and legs are famous here in Bagarkot Soon people started knowing about this place and this place grew up to become a huge hub for chilling It's like Thamel of Dharan This dish is another famous dish of Dharan Pork ears Sonam will try this I dont eat pork so DIp it into the achar How is it? Awesome Feels like ears to me [laughing] [crowd cheer] Who is it? Aashish is here finally He was sick but he still came at almost the end of the trip Thank you everyone for such a great memory It was too much fun because everyone is too damn frank in the team I want to meet you guys again soon Enjoy to the fullest Bhedetar is a famous tourist destination situated in Dhankuta district in eastern Nepal. Since this place can be reached by traveling only a few kilometers from the Terai, many tourists visit here to enjoy the cool air. The urge to experience the unpredictable weather and beautiful mountain ranges is what brings a lot of tourists to this place during its peak season. After waking up and spending some time in Bhedetar, we set out for Tinjure in Tehrathum district. On the way to Tinjure, we crossed the Leuti Bridge and stopped for a while to have our lunch.

Right now were at the mid point of Dhankuta We are not going to the bazar, we are taking a left to Basantapur which is about 30 kms from here From there we will head to Tinjure and return Today I will drink 100 tongbas We reached Hile in no time despite traveling at a low pace. We are at Basantapur, aka Land of Lali Gurans (Rhododendrons) There is a huge statue of Rhododendron behind me You can find 28 kinds of Rhododendrons here in the month of April/May We will reach there in about half an hour After our lunch, leaving the Rhodendron statue behind us, we resumed our journey towards Tinjure. After moving forward for a while, Muddy road started to be seen.

[nepali music] We are at Ghurmise, heading towards Tinjure Due to off road our Hiace cannot go any further We are hitch hiking on a tractor till mid way I will be on my bike Honda XR How was the experience? DId you expect such off road on a Hiace? I didnt think the road to be this off, but thankfuly the Hiace has come up till here There are no casualties till now, its good WIll you go to Tinjure? [cheer] How far is it from here? It wont take much 15-20 minutes hike Thank you very much for the lift [unnecessary blabber] Get off now Are you guys planning to stay here all day? Recently they are making homestays Overall there are two homestays The room costs 500NRs, and lunch costs around 150 Now we will go to the top and enjoy the view with tea Its a bit chilly here. Tinjure Milke and Jaljale Route route is Known as the Rhodendron Trekking route. The starting point of this route is Tinjure.

these walkway with railings makes it easier to walk On this side there is mountain view after few minutes of walking, we will the reach the top I am getting the same feeling like trekking to Phoksundo While traveling on this Route, one can see about 30 species of Rhodendron and at the same time, can visit three districts Tehrathum, Sankhuwasabha, and Taplejung. About 30 minutes of walking, we have reached the viewpoint where there's a small temple as well The view is magical with clouds everywhere The sun is there, the view is awesome Mountain view is awesome. Coming here was worth it. The light was dim as the sun was about to set when we reached Tinjure View Point but it wasn't affecting the beauty of the place. Standing above the clouds in Tinjure and looking at the beauty of the surrounding we thought.

How many more places are there that are not even known by Nepalese. We still have a lot to explore and make those places available to people. Our visit to Tinjure has further strengthened our desire to explore new places and bring them to the people. We have a short life and it is impossible to reach every destination we wish to travel to.

The only possible thing is to prioritize our destination and decide to travel there in this life. We hope Tinjure will be one of your prioritized destinations. You have to experience this This was an unexpected trip, we were planning till Dharan all the way from Terai We have finally came here which is 3000m above sea level All the mountains, reddish vibes There are clouds below us and the sun is setting I am speechless We always want you to see what our eyes see more than what our camera shows you. We don't know what people think when they are above the clouds but every time we see such people we have seen them happier than they usually are.

They seem as if they have achieved something great. Probably they are happy to break the ego of the clouds which says I am always above humans. We were shooting Yarchagumba, suddenly he felt interested in the whiskey and we decided to give him a peg. This whiskey is different from others I have consumed alot of whiskeys but Yarchagumba has a different taste Is this made in Nepal? Yes This is made from Yarsagumba from Dolpa, do you know about Dolpa? I have heard about it, but I dont know much Dolpa is the largest district of Nepal There in the himalayan region, people hunt for Yarchagumba This can also be founf in Olangchung gola of East Nepal You cant get much but people go there as well We traveled to conquer the east but the east conquered us. Mainali Farmhouse at Bara, City of Dharan, Temples of Dharan, Dhankuta, Bhedetar, and Tinjure all of them came to us as a beautiful experience. We consider ourselves lucky that we are born in such a country where beauty welcomes us in every step we take.

Whether it is East or west, whether it is Terai, hills, or Himalayas, we have many amazing destinations whose one sight is enough to give us immense happiness. There are places where a lot have people have reached and there are places that are even unheard of. We express our love to all those explored and unexplored places. We will try to reach them in the future and bring them to you.

Be with us on our Nepal Tour.
