China is watching me!
wow this is probably the most fanciest hotel I've ever stayed in but it's nice we're all ready to go today supposed to be the most beautiful route of the whole trip so uh let's do this how's it going 2 2 now - so that's good yeah I mean he's losing - little bit - minimal check this every morning so it's okay Loki are you ready yeah are you ready Erica - yes - yeah slept well - yes everything is okay - wonderful I take my cigarette now I am good data errors error code 31 I still have that error and it's just super annoying but hopefully the bike works now that's not the right route uh no motorway maybe that because we want to go yeah we do the scenic route okay yeah charged her full last night and at 1 in the morning unplugged and parked her back here that's just the things you do when you travel electric but I don't sleep much anyway so that's fine so one thing I noticed here in these cities there's cameras everywhere like literally everywhere like there's probably no spot where you're not filmed and that's also I think for driving like every mistake they do photo with at you like there's all these photo cameras and it's always flashing like now still orange we're good but I reckon they make a photo of us now I don't know I hope we don't have to pay at the border but yeah very modern advanced city but also a lot of surveillance but I also film everything so I don't mind first time we can access a bank that actually spits out money how does Chinese cash look like - Monopoly money no well but it looks cool looks like Euro - how much do you want how much do I owe you - I want 800 it's a cash money feels good to have some cash even though we can pay everything with wechat or alipay that works pretty good and everybody has that every restaurant every shop everywhere you can pay with wechat but yeah you know how it is a little bit of cash means a little bit of freedom all right now we have to go I would help you Fernanda but I have to film you okay it's okay it's not too heavy I went to the my gym today it's so convenient here filling up gas wow yes but probably for a fuel yes you need to help me yeah oh yeah no I'll fill up you need help I think that is such a weird system and I don't think it's very safe to be honest like I don't know why they do that if you know why this is here in China let me know first stop of the day an old monastery let's see if I can plug an eve somewhere 62% wow and the roads they so smooth always it's awesome I love it I can plug in here this is the monastery here but uh the thing is cost 60 yuan to go inside and we don't have much time and most of the group doesn't really want to walk so much so I don't know what we're going to do we might just check it out from outside but I'm just happy I can charge that's uh the most important here in this town the Tibetans fight against the British armies okay sweet bye-bye charged 1,4 kilowatt hours was really good like we charged we stayed here for like 50 minutes and uh now we're off to a beautiful lake I love these little towns they're really cool everything's so quiet and chill it's awesome look at that no stress everybody super chill another checkpoint you might be wondering why we don't have our license plates on well the guide says it might be better for us because otherwise all these cameras might detect us when we're not quite on the speed limit so yeah he keep saying same with the driver's license just to give the people at the checkpoint just makes sense okay now we're back on the nice roads finally that's so much fun wow and oh there's the lake wow wow but that's not the viewpoint I don't think there must be another one over there yeah super cool but we are in a hurry there's a glacier we have to check out and we have to make it to Lhasa today uh and it's still like 200 km more and I have to charge but we have to eat so lunch break is for charging wow so that's the glacier oh man this is incredible and we are even able to see it wow check this out so cool again we can't see the tip but oi doesn't really matter so cool you have these vendors everywhere but they're not as pushy as some in India so it's very very calm and you say no and then it's okay that's nice finally Erica gets her coffee you all right you all right problem but no now it's good - the engine yes - elevation or no power - no power - power but now but now is - now it's better open connect - bad fuel maybe yes - no I think the fuel was good you have the same other bikes are running okay Yup look at that impressive but there is there's so many glaciers here wow yeah we thought that the other one was the glacier but this is the real deal this is the glacier - this is the glacier wow what did you say - we are exactly on 5,000 m according to the GPS 5001 meter - wow thin air here okay yes please uh pay attention so here 7,200 m the glacier is, okay cool I could plug in here uh I'm charging with 3 kilowatt that means I would have to charge 2 hours but I don't think this is going to happen uh so yeah from now on I have to drive behind Ben it's 160 km more and uh yeah I had a lot of fun today but this is over now I have to be behind the truck and save battery all right I have 61% I charged about I think it must have been like four units and uh that should make that should bring me to the hotel not comfortably but I will I will do somehow but I didn't want to hold the group up so fun time is over now we're back to getting the maximum range let's do it it started raining now well you guys know I've never been traveling in a group and uh now with the EV motorcycle I'm standing out a little bit because for example now I have to stay with Ben I cannot stay with the group right now because otherwise I probably won't make it and uh yeah I never really thought about it because I'm always traveling alone and it never bothers me that I have to go behind a truck or behind a bus or whatever that never really bothered me because I always had the goal okay I go I have to reach my destination but now we're traveling in the group and we're like five motorcycles I'm like yeah I kind of want to be with the group all the time because it just feels nice I never had that before so when I cannot do this because I have to you know reach the destination uh yeah it's a little bit sad but at the same time I don't want to make anybody wait for me for charging so I charge as long as the group makes dinner makes lunch or breakfast and then as when everybody is good to go then I'm good to go and I'll make it work and now I'm making it work but kind of sucks to be honest but it's okay the view makes up for it holy cow wow okay I'm back the road is too good I cannot just stay behind the truck for that road it's just too good I want to play with my new friends wow look at that that's a cool view wow awesome that view that's just so cool you probably get bored of me showing you awesome mountains but I don't know I just love it Eve's doing really good motor's holding up tires are brilliant awesome wow these mountains looks like EV car guys this road is just absolutely fantastic that's just the smoothest ever it's just so hard to not go fast on this road gee and goes forever oh my god well that's the good thing sometimes when you travel on a sport motorcycle you can actually do sport motorcycle things so good right - back again what a what a road - was unbelievable I don't know I don't know how many serpentine yeah 100 that was so good and the tarmac is so smooth so smooth Hello was fun - that was fun Loki wow 70 km - 70 - 70 yeah so big motorcycles are allowed okay we were on this expressway and saw the sign and then we thought we cannot go here and then we switch to the normal highway uh and then we switch back and didn't know what is up but but yeah all good now all good oh God 356 km and uh 9% just follow the truck it's what I'm going to do now anyway check this out this morning we saw it in the lobby and now we see it for real well I I don't know how it's called but still cool wow that looks so cool wow I can plug in sweet yeah no problem all right guys I'm in my room now it's again same kind of hotel that it was uh last night cost uh 300 yuan this time it's okay I mean you get a pretty decent room so can't really complain about it uh yeah let me just quickly show you the route from today and then I'm going to start editing until I pass out don't forget to subscribe uh and then I see you tomorrow okay end ride now that's it 365 km yeah pretty long day again but let me tell you that last bit here that was pretty amazing that was super cool yeah I guess 37° that's my maximum lean angle oh you did not see that right still pretty far up 3,600 meter in Lhasa
