BEST DAY IN CHIANG RAI You Won’t believe Thailand Looks Like This!
welcome back to the channel guys today we are in Chang Rai Thailand and we are at the Lolita Cafe it's probably one of the most instagrammable cafes maybe in all of Thailand so we're going to go check it out see if it's worth it it's supposed to be like mystical fairy tale really nice so afterwards we're also going to go check out the white temple another beautiful place here in Chang Rai so let's go and I believe there is a 60 bot ticket and you can use that towards drinks or food um but if you don't get drink for food then you just have to pay 60 bot and 40 bot for children those little rascal it looks like you can also buy some fish food here to feed the koish so must be a big pond or something inside ni it's so funny whenever you research like Chang Rai reels this Cafe comes up everyone and their mom comes here so we had to check it out for ourselves s hka that's quick and easy all right full discount for food and drinks yeah not half not 75% a full discount yeah and you can get foot massage oh what that's actually a great price too 250 bu yeah oh my um maybe why not oh feels nice and cool in here yeah this Mist I think's adding to it wow you can smell it too this is like a very cool effect this is so beautiful look at all the orchids they just love it in this moist environment wonder the Orchid over there okay I was wondering if all these flowers were real but well they they love the humidity that's going on in here yeah and there's oh look at the waterfall we came at to noon so I'm assuming it's probably going to be very busy and we're just getting soaked by the Mist yeah it's a little watery in here I mean my hair is already soaked because it's like 45° today so what's a little extra water it might actually get up to 50 if it's feeling this hot already you got photo oh yeah wow this is as close as I'm going to get C all the nice statues and figurines at the bottom Pond level at the lower level of the waterfall here okay nice cafe it is yeah bring our beverages right here and sit in the sprinkle of the waterfall is this safe water to drink can it go in my coffee no first I'm wearing like a long white skirt too and the ground's all wet I'm like is this what I needed glorious ac they do have a bunch of desserts you can get too beverages that's a big beverage sign oh boy oh the writing's almost tripping me out it's hard to read thisat cup grass jelly tii tea pudding and the Macadamia cheesecake also looks fantastic oh thank you I was like wow it's small writing you're telling spinter eyes to see okay what are you thinking sweetie oh my gosh I don't even know you know what I have to try this one since you've been trying those orange ones I'll go for a passion fruit pineapple I know I know that's your flavors do you have like a blended drink like a frappe or ice blender Blended ice maybe not yeah um should I TR matcha red a what Macha red bean latte wouldn't that be just so Random yeah you know what let me get a matcha red bean latte since you got your fun drink yeah I don't even remember what mine is anymore I'm going to go I'm going to go sporadic I think we go over here swy cupy cup we got these two things and then I think I'm going to try the matcha red bean latte and I'll do uh oh it's ice if it comes ice okay and then the Americano passion fruit and pineapple so we recently went to the it's like the alpaca sheep farm and you have to be a h 100 bought but then you only get to pick from three drinks this is nice because you can get whatever you want and they just take the money off oh thank you cup and c I like that much better we found the foot massage it's right outside the cafe there's two different doors for the cafe and we're trying to find a perfect little spot to drink these things I'll give you a sneak peek this what's what mine's looking like I thought mine would be like it said red beans so I thought it was going to be like the red and the green like what you see a lot of them but no it's just like the regular Bean but we were sitting inside and we saw the little water there's multiple places where you can go and you can sit we found this little area too which is probably even better than the area over there right I think so yeah and nobody's here look at this we got it all to ourselves so shall we go front and center sure it'll be pretty loud up there yeah it is a little loud maybe we'll take a seat back this is perfect so we were sitting down there and it's kind of dark and people keep coming from upstairs here so we're not going to settle just yet and we're going to check it out oh yeah this is like nobody's downstairs okay okay so this is the spot to be I'm going to sit right this way then you guys can see the waterfall in the background and this is what we're looking at I'm going to try my red bean matcha got little bean chunkies and I'll give it a good stir that's good why' you check the risk on me me too oh my gosh that's good the beans are like a little bit sweet but you get that texture it's not overly beanie not at all and the Matra is like perfectly sweet not too grassy I would have never gotten this and I was like ah screw it let's just go in and I actually love it the beans are getting stuck in the straw though it needs to be a boba straw wow that's good M look at the roof this a bunch of peacocks passion fruit pineapple Americano and it has like a little sprig on top who wo so I was first Here fion Fruit then the aftertaste is pineapple and then you just get that bitterness of the coffee that is a wild ride in a drink I'm getting something Block in my drink too little orange slime the little lime wedge that is very unique I can't say I like it I can't say I dislike it can't say I would order it again but I'm happy to be trying it right now I flipped my chair around I like the orange one with the coffee I don't like the one like CH was saying before it was like a tropical one but it had coconut in it and I think that threw me off so now pineapple sometimes pineapple for you right yeah pineapple for me is iffy it's just so confusing I like it I do like it but it's really sweet yeah I think if it was less sweet I think there's like a bit too much sugar or pineapple in here if it was taken down or not I think it' be really good actually I like it I like a lot but all said and done we get to come here we got these two Beverages and it's around 200 B I believe like maybe 28 you get to come in you get two Beverages and just relax this play size like a 4.3 I don't know why oh like it's a beautiful Cafe you know you know what it is people don't like paying up front they're probably just butt hurt that they have do the 60 bought up front they're like like yeah yeah but I'm like what's not to like exactly in my opinion like I have nothing to complain about like the service was great the drinks are good the cafe is beautiful do I recommend absolutely I love this thing you can try mine try oh yeah so it's just black being floating at the bottom yeah mine is definitely more my casaste and I did get a lot of black bean in that bite wo the macha's good though it's a nice chill matcha right yeah and you're not much of like a matcha or Bean guys no that's a mixture of a lot of flavors that aren't my favorite this is just so pretty we're looking at the roof and the waterfall like wow and they have big fans that are blowing and it's really nice and cool up here on hot day we're going to motorbike to the white temple now I think it's about 20 minutes maybe hopefully so we'll make we'll probably look even more sweaty than we already are if you guys know me you know I'm a dessert Al holic and this ice cream looks so good and creamy and I literally can't resist sad can we get one yes oh that's fake yeah it's just sitting there sh oh my God I was wondering I was like there's like a party order happening okay ice cream's just perfectly non looks very nice and creamy right here so we'll see how it is coming out of the machine okay it still looks deliciously nice and creamy thank you oh wow it's actually massive is that a mow is it coconut coconut ice cream it's a coconut Jee you guys this is so good dud like coconut soft Ser oh my goodness it's so creamy so sweet like this Cafe honestly is 10 to 10 for me it's just really is a cherry on top M coconut it's unbelievable it's perfect tast for it's l it's like there's it could not be better all right com bite that's going to be the real test it's perfect perfect ice cream 40 bought perfect ice cream we are on Rak wooo we're going to use the name again black Bey I highly recommend you guys take the drive up to do Chang Mountain there's tons of cafes along the area of the mountain and it's stunning The Drive let alone is super worth it so we did that yesterday we did not film it but I meaning they've been doing a ton of construction around here I don't know what they're doing if they're like expanding the highway but all along the road to doang Mountain yeah that was a lot of conrat took us a little minute to find out where parking was but we found it some English some tie how's my hair guys we are looking good at least I have a bucket hat for me pretty magnificent right off the bat got to use a toilet first we'll be back after this brief Interruption at that interesting start to the white temple it's very dark very dark for a white temple but look at all these carvings it's the monkey for money wow very cool so the white temple was created by Master oh my gosh I can't even pronounce his name here you can look at that name the national artist who designed constructed and opened it to visitors in 1997 the primary structure of the temple is made of basic concrete and a wooden roof and the construction of this Temple also was called the wat wrong tun and it was inspired by the poor condition of other temples in the area again his name okay I'm going to go for ITA Sher Mach pipat saw the state of some of the traditional Temple and wanted to create a new Temple that would not only be a work of art but also a place for worship and education so that's a little kind of backstory you can read more about it if you want to learn you know more about the temple but I mean to be honest it just looks absolutely insane it looks so beautiful it's updated it's super cool I had a little outfit change I put on my t-shirt I'm wearing all white for the white temple how suited yeah and what is that personage look at that oh my gosh the detail look at the skulls how cool my dad would love this I've probably talked about my dad so much lately cuz we've been just seeing all the skull things yeah yeah the BL the blue Temple had skulls too yeah every time we see skulls we're like my dad would love that he like loves skulls skulls and Dragons I was like thinking it was like a hear no evil see no evil but then this guy's pluging his nose oh yeah I don't know oh that's cool this guy is like throwing me off wow oh and there's a beautiful moat or Pond Chev wow Look At That Swing don't see oh yeah oh wow is that a swing or is it just I don't what's going on that's not a swing it's just a Vines it's a George of the Jungle swing that are not yeah it kind of looks like one almost but I don't know you could use it as a swing kind of looks like it could be a swing maybe I wonder if it was like maybe before this Temple was ever here you know what this is how the invention of the Swing was made this tree right here yeah people were like oh this is fun let's uh put this all around the world look at this oh my goodness that is beautiful all white temple with just um little you can see here mirrored it looks like silver but it's like little mirrors oh let's go find the entry shoot no entry yeah now you know we're so close but so SM whoa look at this wow that's a crazy roof I mean I've been to a lot of temples in my day and I feel like so far this could be in the top five or probably actually is in the top five for those of you that don't know hi my favorite color is white nude and black so very suting and uh I went through a phase when I first got my well when I first moved out when I was younger my thing was all white all white silver kind of blingy so I would buy a lot of decor for my apartment and it was like a lot of mirrored stuff so basically yeah this pretty much oh and then there's the all gold wow super clean lots of washrooms which is nice and there's some covering cuz sometimes you go to Temples or like a big Buddha you go right to the top and there's no covering we did we just recently did that in pie yeah there was no shade I guess you could have hid behind the Buddha maybe yeah but then you don't get the view you couldn't hide behind the Buddha there was no it was not possible it was it was all the way to the back there was there was no okay okay so here's the entrance so I believe it is 100 bot to go to the proper entrance we get two ticket yeah you're right under bought a ticket yeah do my research yeah Mama got a nice stamping yep it lives up to the hype that's Reverend's going to get their famous Instagram shots I'm trying to look around to see if anyone has any food or beverage could be like is it even allowed in here yeah probably not at all the yeah this is wild detail there's some borderline beep stuff going on here like the skulls and the things going in their mouth I love how different it is it's so cool wow there is a lot of detail and I am loving it a picture there is also an announcement in multiple different languages saying keep walking fomos fomos hurry along do not stop on the bridge keep going please thing yeah you know what's funny it's actually it's well it's not funny but it's like for people that are taking photos we don't even listen to that I didn't even hear that so so cool and we got the white princess over here for the white can't even like hopefully you can see through the screen like what I'm going through right now it's probably one of the hottest days and how hot that I felt in Thailand and I will say there's something about going to a temple that just makes it feel even hotter like I want to jump into that pond I just checked into our flight you guys will see us in a new country soon this is actually our last video in Thailand s yeah where are we heading oh that's cool you don't have to take out your shoes you can just put bags over them I have flipflops we're just exiting out the inside there there's no photos allowed but there is a monk sitting down and a Buddha in the background a golden one Shelby was surprised that the inside wasn't all white it's actually a very contrasting compared to the outside yeah it's kind like yellow uh but it was not a real M huh not a real M oh I know okay they but they have them like uh We've also been to the the monk that has the glasses on because he meditated and yeah was petrified in that position I had to look cuz I was like is it real they have some and I wasn't sure if you didn't know they have some really really good um monk statues in all these temples yeah I was like I like definitely did a double I was like not his hands look plastic out you guys going to get dizzy watching that one I love when people are like this taking a video like a lot of the people are on like FaceTime with other people sh them and they're like just everywhere the personably like I'm disoriented W look at that right from here looks so pretty it does yeah I can't believe it's all like concrete and wooden roof I know we talk about this all the time Chase and I like how how how how do they who is who are the people are well we know the guy but I mean who all the people the builders that are actually doing this it's so meticulous and then upkeeping it too yeah it's just crazy all right might we came we saw came we saw get the loop now let us in the sprinklers honestly there's no entry but might test the boundaries today stick my head like yeah all right we're going to give you one last final view before we call it tree is blocking it a little bit but so we are going to head back to our hotel now and get some much needed AC we hope
