running through guys I think this leads out oh yeah this must lead out to the main area so this must be where all the fishermen park their boats before they head out. Yeah, we're- we're downtown cruising around guys welcome to fort Kochi beach. I don't know not fort Kochi beach but fort Kochi area and here we go there is the bridge we needed yeah to be honest luckily, I talked to those locals otherwise, I would have had no idea how to get to this bridge. Alright, we're crossing over here there we go we got a direct view of the sea that way and we're heading over here.

Alright, we're back on track we're heading this way and I think if we take one more bridge then we have found where we need to go I’m basically looking for a café or somewhere to get a little oh, it's the afternoon but I’m looking to get a little breakfast right now so I guess we're having just a bit of a late breakfast or lunch you could call it and we'll be going this way . Like it's three bread with two layer. A mix of chicken masala mozzarella cheese and normal cheese. I feel like even though we're at the Los Angeles Café I gotta go with something that's more local to India. So probably no wings or burgers but probably biryani. Yeah, okay take one chicken biryani. Perfect yeah and then also
in addition, could I have one cold coffee. Yeah, sure cold coffee how do you need it with ice cream or like without it? Oh, without ice cream. Yeah perfect thank you so much. Take cold coffee with the biryani or like do you need the cold coffee first? We can have it first.
Thank you so much amazing customer service here guys. So, that's fantastic and a lot of different options that's the good news here. So if you're coming over to this area you're gonna stop at the Los Angeles Cafe just know that you can get both American style food you can get both traditional style Indian food you got a bunch of different options here. So guys we just got the iced coffee
right here as you can see it is a delicious looking amazing coffee right there we've got the chocolate swirls in there we've got a milkshake type feeling. Oh, yeah that's literally so so refreshing it tastes delicious proper amount of sugar sweetness in there and incredible so Atu just asked me if I can figure out what the secret ingredient is in here and to be honest with you if I were to guess maybe cocoa powder? Yeah, yeah. Did I get it? Yeah. Oh, yeah so, like the chocolate syrup was added while mixing-- So that is like the secret ingredient. So, chocolate syrup basically, marinated in there and then separate there's also cocoa powder yes the only reason I knew cocoa powder is because I’ve let it sit for a little bit and there's a bit at the bottom. Yeah. Yeah, but it's very delicious guys I can tell you that. Yeah, like where are you from actually?

first meal in the Fort Kochi area. Oh, so this is the first meal. First meal in fort Kochi because the last four days I’ve actually been exploring the rest of Kochi. I think some of those yeah, I’m not good with names. So, yes but I think I’ve been to some of those. So, what do we have coming right here? Oh, that looks
delicious guys. Oh my God. Amazing, amazing, presentation. Yeah it smells very good, thank you. So, we've even got the shrimp in there too and what was the local name for it? It's called nardin’s chimney roast. Nardin’s chimney roast yeah. Oh, yeah. You can call it prawns roast. Like people-- Prawns
roast. Oh, yeah let's dig in then that sounds great as you can see here, we've got some vegetables in there we've got I believe maybe those are potatoes there those are the prawns and a bunch of spices mixed in. Get you guys set up right there make sure, that's a good angle . Alright, guys we're gonna go ahead and dig right in we're gonna get a little bit of each for the perfect bite and let's try it out. Guys very delicious literally you can tell it's fresh off the oven. We've got a
chewy prawn in there some strong spices not too spicy but spicy enough where it gives it a nice kick and when you mix it in there with I’m pretty sure those are potatoes the flavors go together so well. As you can see guys those prawns are cooked to perfection oh fantastic food and here we go these are the peppers right there giving it the light spice. We got a nice little kick to it. Delicious! Guys the secret is when you're going to a new place like I’ve only been in India for about seven days now and you don't necessarily know exactly what to order on the menus it's always the best to go with a local's recommendation. They had said they're very well known for these prawns here and I’m so glad I took the recommendation because it is delicious sometimes I’ll like look at the menu and I won't recognize anything so I’ll be a bit intimidated on what I should order because I want to order like something that suits the taste buds and is absolutely delicious and they always know what's like the best way to say is like what's your most popular item on the menu and you can know what everyone thinks is the most delicious there and go with that. That's what we call g double o d good. Recommendation on point I gotta say very
delicious. Is it like too spicy for you or it's fine? No, it's perfect. I love spicy. Oh, like yeah, you're the first foreigner I have heard like like spicy things. I get that all the time people are like

I’m gonna have the biryani belly after eating two full meals there that's very nice they came over and are gonna bring a complimentary mojito. Oh, we got round two I don't know how I’m gonna have room for all this I could have eaten only one plate yeah, that's all set thank you so much as you can see here guys we have the biryani an amazing presentation we got the egg in there we've got the chicken we've got the nuts on there and I want to say those are some sort of maybe like dried raisins mixed in with some leaves a couple dipping sauces as well and as we say let's eat. Alright, here we go guys
we're gonna go in for our first bite of the biryani nice sized chicken in here let's get it chopped up. Take the what? You can take this plate out and Oh, that makes a lot of sense. Oh, thank you so much that'll work much better. You can eat really sufficiently. Perfect, thank you very much. Oh yeah guys now we can smell the different flavors.
There we go got a nice proper portion right there and there we go oh get the perfect bite to start out nice piece of chicken in there that way we can make sure, we have all the flavors some rice on there let's try it. Oh yeah that's so good and actually I think we have even a little cinnamon in there which adds a very unique flavor to the biryani the chicken that's mixed in cooked very nicely it's tender when you take a bite out of it it's just chewy and scrumptious. Very very tasty That's good. Very tasty the key ingredient in here cinnamon yeah, I knew it. It's nice I like the cinnamon tasting is that standard for India or specific to Kerala or here? It's specific to here. So, usually in Kerala yeah people mostly prefer dum biryani. So like dum biryani
is like it's it it's prepared in a very big yeah huge yeah yeah huge vessel so in that like the masala will be down in the end oh yeah and the rice will be up so it's like taking some rice from up but this is totally different in this we make the curry differently and the rice is made differently. then it's mixed together. Oh, so that's the special trick then guys you hear that that makes sense why it's such a unique flavor I’ve had quite a few biryanis now in my life and this one is very unique very delicious.
Let them know thank you it's so good. Like we are grateful that you came here. Of course. But totally unexpected. Yeah it was unexpected for me I was walking down the road filming and I was like Los Angeles café might as well go in. Yeah, thank you so much. Oh, here we go. That's the cool part guys you probably think like when I was first walking in Los Angeles Café they might not have any traditional foods here but actually they they have quite a few different options and especially knowing that they have their own unique way of making this biryani makes it that much more special to be trying it. Do you like watermelon and orange flavors both combined together? Oh, yeah.

It's very good guys you already know it's gonna be contributing to the biryani belly right there Alright, guys we're trying some of the biryani here with the with the red sauce right here I’m not entirely certain what the name is we're getting some chicken on there we're getting some rice and mixing it all together. Wow, when you add the red sauce it almost tastes like a completely different new menu item on there light spice to it. Definitely manageable tolerable and then we'll try the one over here looks like it's got onions mixed in there another couple type of vegetables and like a white creamy type of sauce. That one's also very good much lighter not as spicy it's got a really nice flavor to it I need to have one more bigger bite here to properly analyze what I think's in there.
Oh, yeah that infused with the cinnamon is quite nice I’m gonna be very full after eating this so it's pretty much almost two full meals oh and the nose is running from the spice that's how you know we got a proper spice in there if @GowithAli was here he wouldn't be able to handle the spices but for me love the spices. Guys they just brought me out a little dessert too to finish up here as well we've got some wafers sticking out of there we've got some chocolate chips and we've got it looks like a nice like ice cream sorbet type of oh and we're spilling a little bit. Here we go guys. What flavor is that? Almost tastes like kind of like a Reese’s peanut butter cup hopefully you guys can see me while there. Let's try one of the wafers here too. Oh yeah, a match made in heaven right there guys. Very very kind of them to bring this out.
I’m trying to figure out what exactly the flavor is it's at the tip of my tongue the closest thing I would say is definitely Reese’s peanut butter cups. Maybe like a peanut butter ice cream almost. No, not peanut butter. I think so but very good regardless guys.
What a nice dessert I’m gonna need to do some serious walking after this. Loving the Indian food here. Very delicious so is this one is this peanut butter in there I guessed wrong. Butterscotch. Alright, that was what I was kind of thinking but I wasn't completely certain butterscotch is amazing. So this is made here yeah wow Indian brand ice cream. Oh it's delicious. Wow, alright, we've got a mojito here too guys I’m guessing there's watermelon there we've got lime we've got the mojito leaves we've got watermelon in there sugar I’m guessing. Lemon? No sugar? Oh no sugar. Alright, perfect so we're gonna be naturally sweetened then. This is fantastic. No, alcohol in here. Alright, very good so we'll try this one out.

I’ve been eating a lot of sugar the last couple days so it's good to have a little less sugar now. The naturally sweetened way is the best
way. Yep, yep that is great a little watermelon slice right there too. Alright, guys in the total for me to eat that entire meal here the chicken biryani prawns’ cold coffee and a drink there came out to about 670 which is like seven dollars for that massive meal.
