wait for it which way you want the door? that way, that way, yeah, that way, facing there yeah one man set up tent, that's what we need, mommy will not do anything there we go yay good morning well 6 30 a.m it's uh nice and sunny today we slept pretty good so gonna be a good day okay we uh went from our big three by three meter tent down to two of these two and a half by one and a half meter tents, why? because they're very easy to take down, and put away and uh it's easier on uh when we can move sites, it's quick, whereas the other tent it's quick, but not as quick pretty quick, sand dune hill so, well i hope there's no uh wild animals or snakes around here but we'll see, now we're gonna finish setting up, and we have our tent we park our car right here and i hope there's no lava again, come here and i hope the rock is not hot, and i got brand new car i came up right now, and and here's some lave rocks all right it was mommy's first time making some lamb kabsa, so we're about to eat this delicious looking meal, looks pretty good, taste test, look pretty good, tastes pretty good here we go, good job mommy, thank you take the plunge? take the plunge? here we go that's cold welcome to Saudi Arabia after it rains all right we're about to take Noah outside of the tent right now, he's about to sleep but it's starting to snow, so we'll let Noah get out here and get a chance to experience snow as it's coming down here buddy, Noah it's getting a lot, hey i can see that, all right snowing out here it is see that buddy, look at that, look at the snow, water, yeah look it's on your jacket see that, yeah and my hat, and your hat, also how about my hat anything? snow flakes buddy, snowflakes, yeah look mommy okay we reached our destination, we're here in the elephant tunnel mountain uh it's very difficult to get here, but it's worth it all right you can see there's a uh figure of a man right here uh you can see somebody, somebody spent a lot of time doing this artwork, and uh he's got his arm out with a sword, over here you can see his uh clothes that he's wearing, pretty cool all right, I'm not sure if you can see it clearly but this is just amazing the the time and effort that went into this artwork here, you can see the clothing now do something crazy, like cool, Noah okay we finally arrived in the Al Nafud great desert, so uh it's about eight o'clock p.m. on a Thursday night and uh we're getting ready to head out I'm about to try a camel milk, it smells good though let me see all right well uh Noah's still sleeping in the tent so we're just waiting for him, gonna put on this uh don't know what it's called, I'm gonna try to go a little more with the middle east feel here we're tourists, so this is what we do time to do a little night hike, so hope we don't see any wild animals or wolves or any anything like that, we'll find out yeah come on buddy finally make it, he had to walk, he actually uh took his car but he said he was gonna make it and he made it, so he's a man of his word, bravo I'm stressed, mommy's scared of the cable car, cable car 85 riyals each cold water, i saw some frog, this frog and lots of uh dragonfly, okay well uh we're just uh underneath our little shade cover here, mommy's gonna cook us uh some dinner to have some spaghetti tonight and uh as you can probably hear it's still raining, but a real nice uh looking area around here so we're pretty excited to bring you guys this view of these uh look like old ancient beehives even it's uh thunder and lightning out here, but uh we wanted to make sure you guys got to see this up close and personal so enjoy okay we're so high up the clouds are almost coming down they're going to touch us, right out here pretty amazing swinging over a cliff here swing on the edge of the cliff get down Noah there's a monkey on our car oh just give you guys an idea reason i want to come back down because at any time you can get one of these landslides and you'll be stuck on top, road will be blocked, ain't nobody coming to clear it all right well it looked like a uh rock slid off this mountains we can probably get around it but I'm gonna see if i can push it out of the way a little bit first, give us some more room well cause you slammed your face down supposed to go feet first, good job mommy, yay, Noah she did it good job, thumbs up, you want to go through the water, go ahead it's not too deep just go through there, and then come to here, try it fun no no it's not too deep, trust me there you go that'll give you an idea how deep it is, up to Noah's neck it's okay we'll warm up don't worry it looks like a you can see the size of these hand prints based on my hand, pretty close to the same size here so you can see he's pretty hot here we had to take Noah's shirt off he's uh used to the colder weather, so this 37 degrees with the humidity, he's pretty hot okay just here on the edge of a cliff at one of the highest points here in the small town of Fayfa in southern Saudi Arabia, right outside of Jazan pretty big, if you're looking for a house in the middle of the desert this would suit you, it's like a mansion you thought maybe we're gonna climb in these rocks so up here on top of this mountain and you can see behind me there's a road and that's a road i was talking about leads down into the wadi Disah, if you come the back way so right now we're on top of the back way which is the way i recommend if you have a 4x4 vehicle and you're coming from Tabuk city, this is the place you go, all right driving along here and we found uh this little cutout and this big rock here, good place to stop and have some lunch, nice and shady here, now with your hands here more and more and more okay now put this foot here okay keep going, keep going, you're almost there, keep going, you got it almost take a look at all these petroglyphs here never seen anything like this, it's amazing again one two three rock hits the scissors, here we go yes again good job you got it with the paper okay well we reached our destination we've made it to the amphitheater rock okay walking along here and you can see there's some uh petroglyphs up here and then right up here you can see these hieroglyphic Egyptian tablets here, so this is uh actually, we're kind of searching for these but uh we weren't sure the exact location here they are right here okay well we've uh crossed over lava rocks we've made it out here to this looks like a dried up lake bed but uh pretty nice now it's a proper good morning with a coffee now i told you guys I'd tell you what i like better, filming alone, camping solo or filming and camping with the family, I'll tell you 100 percent i prefer camping with the family, 100 and filming for sure is uh much easier when mommy's here to do it, and i just have to drive but uh so far it's been uh it's been a pretty fun adventure it's been uh really peaceful that's for sure very peaceful out here solo this is a very remote area so you can hear birds around i guess i picked a pretty good spot the sun's not coming on me yet, so but uh today we're gonna head further into the desert, i want to finish this trail, so uh should be uh some more history out there to see, nice, really nice landscapes good weather is on the menu so stay tuned okay okay well we initially planned to camp here overnight, really, really good looking camp uh campsite, but there's only one problem there's five million flies and i hate flies, they're driving me crazy, so we're going to pack everything up, instead of this being an overnight trip, this is going to be a day trip so uh we're gonna pack up our stuff, and then we're gonna head back through these canyons towards the uh towards the road we'll probably head back to Tabuk, so here we go i like that sunset Noah long time you ain't been to the sea okay uh driving across this mountain right here it's a difficult area got our two vehicles here and uh meet these nice guys good i don't mind rain, rain's cool, i don't like lightning, and we're the only thing around for the lightning to hit so we're getting out of here so there's some more up here about the same height, the only thing that i can think of is this was actually a river at one time and the people that carved those inscriptions were in a boat that's my only logical explanation this wall is almost straight up i don't even know how you could get up there to carve these unless you were really tall found this red painting here which is very rare to find in the Tabuk region, so you can see this here looks like an old wheat grinder you can see there's a hole in the center and then there's a hole here and this side here is perfectly flat this would have grinded a lot of wheat back in the day, pretty cool fine just sitting here out in the middle of the desert another one Noah next to daddy wow that's easy for you down into this cave here, here we go my head nice that's not good okay we're up here on top of the white volcano uh pretty crazy to get up here and there's a lot of wind, so we'll see if we can throw it for you we'll see here we go i think if we drove to the other side to be okay okay well we've arrived at the uh laser rock uh Al Naslaa you can see right here split right down the middle, perfectly straight so let's get out take a look at it, here we go okay you see here inside this mountain right here here's a horse this is a really nice inscription, with the Babylonian king riding on it hey we are now inside the cave and it appears by looking at it, it's definitely looks like it's man-made you can see some pockets along these walls here, not sure what they were for but uh here we go subscribe to our channel subscribe subscribe subscribe
