Demonology Part II
Well, good evening and welcome to our Thursday night study here at Calvary Chapel Kaneohe. And on behalf of Pastor JD Farag, we welcome you. And typically we're going through the Old Testament line by line. But tonight we'll come together and do a topical teaching. Or should I say, continue a topical teaching.
But before we get into that, why don't we bow our hearts in a word of prayer and ask for the Lord's blessing upon the teaching tonight. Loving Heavenly Father, What can we say? We're just so blessed and so thankful that we can come to You on such a evening to hear Your Word. And we pray that You would just bless this, bless our time together so that we can learn all that we can learn and be better stewards of Your words.
And also Lord, just better disciples. So we can go out and do that will that you have for us. So now Lord would you speak clearly in our lives as we listen to You and You alone in the mighty name of Yeshua, Jesus the Christ we pray Amen. Okay, so let's get to it.
And tonight, Lord willing, we will complete our study on the topic of demonology, what I failed to do a couple of weeks ago. I just packed the bag too much, if you will. My apologies.
In fact, my wife told me that someone made a comment saying that I was wondering how you were going to get through this in one session, and that individual was right. I should have called him up and said, yeah, man got his advice because it is a very broad topic and a deep topic. And in fact, two studies won't be good enough. They do entire series on teachings like this and whatnot. So I mean, the goal is really to, you know, make everybody hungry, aware and hungry and do your own research and study as well. And maybe you guys get together in some small groups and be able to edify one another with what you have discovered in this topic. Again,
it should not be the theme of all that we do But we're going to continue tonight and prayerfully, as I said, get to a point that meets the intent. That's what we're trying to do or what the Lord has for our learning. And without conducting a recap, I do want to stress this one thing and one thing alone. Demons, are real. They are real. The landscape on which they operate is broad.
There is a rank structure, a hierarchy, and the way they impact people is different. But they are real and real indeed, and the biblical writers clearly understood it. Sometimes I feel that the lack of belief in demons by the body of Christ, or how many of us do not take it seriously prevents our walk with the Lord, stunts our growth; because perhaps we don't even recognize when we're being attacked and victimized by these demonic presence. There was a research done by Christian psychologists over a 10 year period, and they concluded that over 50% of their cases were demonically related.
This is serious stuff, and we should be aware of it. People that don't believe should ask themselves a question: are they themselves being influenced to not believe or are they themselves demons. And we who do believe in the everlasting Word of God, that know that they're real, should also pray for the spiritual eyes to be able to see this type of demonic activity and understand what we need to do in defense of it, and also to have continuous protection from being influenced and or oppressed by these demonic entities. So when we left off a couple of weeks ago, we talked about how the Earth's entire systems are under demonic influence. The Earth's entire systems are under demonic influence and soon to be nearly complete control.
This is what we are facing. Again, First John, Chapter five and Verse 19 reads, We know, speaking of Christians, that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one. The whole world. Now, just because this is the case does not mean we do nothing. In fact, we are to do more as we learn how these evil agencies work and what we're supposed to do about it, to defend ourselves with the word of God as well as others.
But we should not have the mindset that we are going to change the system. That's where the problems come in. The entire system was handed over and left to be demonically established only to be divinely destroyed and this is going to happen. God is going to do it. These fallen angels, they rule in high places and have done so since the dividing of the nation's, if you will. We talked about the Nephilim, captured in Genesis six in verse four.
But we need to take notice whats captured in the first part of that verse. As the word of God reads, There were giants on the Earth in those days, and also afterward. There were Nephilim on the earth in those days and also afterward, after the flood.
In other words, the fallen angels were active before the flood, and they as well as these demonic entities that derived from the Angelica rebellion, known as the Nephilim, would be active after the flood. And this is why after the flood, in Genesis Chapter 10, we witnessed 70 nations called out to be dispersed and populate the Earth. But instead of spreading out, we have the event captured called the Tower of Babel, captured in Genesis chapter 11.
So instead of spreading out, they stayed all of one speech and built this tower, and God was scattered the people. Why? Because once again, they fell victim to these evil entities disobeying God and did what they wanted to do. One peoples, they wanted to reach up to the heavens and call God down and worship how they wanted to worship, how they pleased. And it's here at Babel that God would not only scatter the nations, but He would also place them under the rulership of other gods, meaning demons. And then He would call out from among the nations who are all gentiles. A people's for himself.
Sometimes that gets missed, all gentiles. He calls out a people from among them. And what was the purpose? The purpose was to prove to the world the only He is the true and living God. And we see that captured in Genesis chapter 12. And I believe we have a major reference that speaks to this captured in the Book of Deuteronomy, Chapter 32 verses 8 through 9.
As it is written in the Steptuagent, I'm going to read from, the Word of God reads, when the Most High divided the nations, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the boundaries of the nation's according to the number of the angels of God. And verse nine, And his people Jacob became the portion of the Lord, Israel was the line of his inheritance. Basically, this verse speaks to everything that we just talked about.
The known world at that time in Genesis, 70 nations were given over to lesser gods, demonic forces. They were not gods at all. And they weren't with God.
They were against God. These are those, what I believe principalities, that the Apostle Paul speaks about. They rule over the nations because the true and living God was rejected. So He gave them up.
And please take notice that when the portion of the Lord, Israel, when they came into Egypt, remember this, there were 70 of them. But when they left in the Exodus, they left as one nation. And there's a reason behind that.
This would be the beginning of God's people against all the other nations, so they can see and witness who God truly was. If you don't mind, join me in the Book of Acts in chapter 17, going to begin in verse 24. It's a little too long to read over the screen,. The Book of Acts chapter 17, beginning in verse 24, and we'll read down to verse 27. And what we'll see here is basically a recap of Deuteronomy 32:8 and nine, but we get the answer in the Scriptures exactly why all of this was. The Word of God reads, beginning in verse 24, God, Apostle Paul speaking by the way, God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands.
Nor is he worship with man's hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. Verse 26., And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their pre-appointed times and the boundaries off their dwellings, and then verse 27, why? So that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us. That was the purpose. In other words, even though the entire system is under the sway of the wicked one, God is near all. And all they have to do is just group for Him. That's it.
Such a small thing. Man is indeed without excuse. And because of that, we are not to waste our time attempting to influence the system, so to speak. We need to be taking our time influencing souls.
That's our calling. I don't recall God saying, make the nation first and then disciples. I believe it's the other way around. Make disciples from all the nations. This is why getting wrapped up in things of this world, such is politics is a major problem.
It's a major problem. Exposing evil, yes, expose it. That is good to do. Very noble.
Exposed the evil, but trying to control a system that God has set its course. It is very difficult to kick against the pricks; it' s futile. It's the wrong fight. It's a waste of time. And for those of us who are in the system, we are to shine all the brighter until that perfect day. And while we are in the system, influence souls, do the right thing, exposed the evil.
Be is wise as serpents, harmless of doves. Everyone knows the drill, then do it. But trying to change the system, the wrong fight. Win souls to Christ. Because all of those nations then, as the majority of the nation's today, they represent every false religion and every evil thing known to man.
And they're all governed by demons, including the United States. Within these systems includes every dark practice that the true and living God has set His face against. We talked about a few of these in the last study regarding demons. But in the last days, many of these practices, as you see, have begin to merge; and they're being either repackaged or, you know, kind of a, they're all the same. But yet they just have a little hint of refreshing to it.
And this New age movement, every dark practice converges. It has aspect of Buddhism. Hinduism, Mysticism, Transcendentalism, Gnosticism, Paganism, Pantheism, Occultism, Mind Science, Reincarnation, and Spiritual psychology or what is also known as the Law of Attraction. And New Age is popular, by the way, very popular.
Some people don't even recognize they're in it. And no matter what ism you come up with, it's probably all demonic. This new age movement as a whole is this, a collection of beliefs and practices aimed at bringing enlightenment and raise the consciousness to a higher destiny, so that with the complete knowledge of self combined with divination and occult practices, one can achieve self divinity. And it is running rampant, The U. K., my goodness, as well as here in the United States as well man, you could find it easily.
Many pastors behind the pulpit are now preaching this mess. You'll find at least three major things that are conducted to achieve this so called self divinity, all demonic, by the way. And that is the obtaining of secret knowledge, the physical experience with a supernatural agency, demon and, in the end, the occult practice of some form off idol worship. That's the main goal of this New Age movement controlled by these demons. So one by one, let's take a look at this against the Scriptures.
So I will tell you the attempt and or the obtaining of secret knowledge is indeed demonic. It's demonic. How? Because the knowledge that is obtained comes from demons. That's why. And How do we know this? Well, we know this in two different ways, and the first way is because those who are in these sects, in these groups that are supposed to be so secret tell us, they tell us. They write books about it. They acknowledge having various degrees of contact with these entities, and they're proud of it.
And their books sell off the shelf. And these entities enable them to receive instructions on how to conduct supernatural actions to include the use of different physical compounds, mind altering drugs, that can demonically enhance knowledge. This is rael. And now, with this demonic knowledge, they're able to train others, create cults, other secret societies, new religious twist doctrines of demons. And some of them real subtle, like they have noble beginnings, but weaved inside of it are demons. In the Book of Daniel, Chapter 12 in verse four, the Word of God reads, But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book until the time of the end.
Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase. In the end times, and while I believe this includes biblical knowledge, no question; it most definitely speaks to worldly, satanic knowledge, increasing. And with the increase of worldly satanic knowledge, wickedness increases. And that's what we are witnessing today.
All of these groups, they're trying to seek some secret knowledge for enlightenment and many of them receive it. From who? The one who masquerades as the angel of light himself and all his little minions, demons. All of them have the same end game, there's enough up here to make everybody upset; it's to keep anyone who joins them away from the true and living God and bound to the devil. That's the goal of all of these groups. Charles Russell, founder of the Watchtower Jehovah's Witnesses, if you will, was also a Mason. Secret society of Skull and Bones from Yale University.
Have you looked them up? They conduct some bizarre practices in order to obtain superior knowledge. Mohammed, the author of the Koran, says that he met with Gabriel, who told him to write it to preserve the word of his god, Allah, who has no god at all, demons. Then we have the Yin and the Yang, basically a philosophy in cosmology; and those who practice this say that the Ying reaches its height of influence at the winter solstice, and the Yang reaches its height of influence at the summer solstice. Do you know what that is? It's Paganism. The Masons meet in secret, have a number of rituals that are not only satanic, they're just outright blasphemous.
It's all of the devil. And I could say that because I was one, demonic. Scientology, this one got me.
This is something that someone does and does not believe in. In a nutshell, what they do is they attempt to keep people from reality by suppressing their past. And then they could be enlightened by this new reality. You cannot make this up. That alone is demonic, if not demonic, completely ignorant. What about? Listen to this, Anthroposophy. What is this?
I had to laugh 15 times as I tried to pronounce this thing. A philosophy that claims the existence of an objective, intellectually comprehensible spiritual world exists, and it's completely accessible through human experience. All for the purposes of getting information from the other side. They all meet in secret. As well as the Mormons perform rituals as well, handshakes and gestures. And they think that when they die they become divine beings upon their death, the reflection of their service to the god that they believe that they're serving.
And then we have this "scroll and key" society, also from Yale. You could look it up yourself and other cults in the form of spiritual realm, and it is, well, so many of them. Then we have outright Satanist that followed after the teacher of one, Aleister Crowley. And they acknowledge demonic presence of course, continue to engage in it during these rituals.
Please know, that there are many, and I mean many, influential people affiliated within these groups, high levels of government, high levels of royalty, and it's all demonic. And you could find many more if you just take a five minute look. But God has given His people understanding so we don't fall victim to end or remain trapped within this garbage, and these practices. The Book of Deuteronomy, Chapter 29 in verse 29. The word of God reads, The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our Children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.
What God wants us to know, He ensures that we know. The problem is too often we are not satisfied, with what that God told us. Well, like Lord, I don't want to hear that.
Well, that's not God's problem. Yeah, that's our problem. He tells us everything that we need to know. In the Book of Amos, chapter three, in verse seven, the word of God reads, Surely the Lord God does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.
And they have spoken the entire counsel of God's Word, by the only Spirit any of us should be listening to. And that's the Holy Spirit. Any other persuasive spirit is not of God. It's of the devil. In the Book of John, Chapter 18, verses 19 through 20, the word of God reads, The high priest then asked Jesus about His disciples and His doctrine. In verse 20, Jesus answered him, "I spoke openly to the world.
I always taught in synagogues and in the temple, where the Jews always met, and in secret I have said nothing. Nothing. It's all here for us. So when those little shows come on, hidden secrets of the Bible, hidden books da da da. just like the third. Just know that after hidden, just put demon. It's all hot garbage. And I pray that all people
would not become a part of any of these groups or get out of them if you are. And if you're a Christian and you begin to hear teachings from behind the pulpit that promotes levels of spirituality and being self divine and with meditations and so on, you can guarantee this, Jesus has left the building, and the demons have come in. New Age is a problem. All this stuff is doctrines of demons. And as knowledge increases, it would seem that the simplicity of the gospel message seems to become too simple.
People are too educated, and what adds to this is the fact that many behind the pulpit don't increase their level of knowledge in order to expound on the gospel message and the entire counsel of God's Word. In many cases, if we just would teach and do the job God has put before us, the Holy Spirit would indeed provide that experience, through God's Word, that would trump any of these demonic practices known to man. People behind the pulpit are told to feed the sheep, feed the sheep.
I guess some are getting confused, and just grabbing a couple of straws and saying here you go sheep. The sheep are running around, bones popping outside. That's not enough. So what are you going to do? This lack of feeding the flock of God causes many people to go to the full plate of the devil and they eat it up. In the book of Proverbs, Chapter 27 verse seven,
the word of God reads, A satisfied soul loathes, just get it away at, the honeycomb, I can't. I can't stand to eat right now, But to a hungry soul, every bitter thing is sweet. Now you superimpose that on the word of God, we're going to go out there and eat it.
If you are starving, you're going to grab something to eat somewhere. And these evil spirits know it. They know that we're made of spirit, and that there is a need for a spiritually connection the feeding off of God, but not this self seeking spiritual experience. Because the demons are there. That's who's t here.
When people discuss being spiritual and meditating and freeing their minds, knowingly or unknowingly, people who do this are setting themselves up for this type of astral projection. this is some bad stuff. This is basically trying to separate the spirit from the body, in these practices.
The Bible tells us this in the Book of Second Corinthians, Chapter five, verses seven through eight. As the word of God reads for we walk by Faith not by sight. We're confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. Now think about this. What this tells me, along with several other verses in the Bible, is that at our death, our spirits depart and God controls that process. He controls that process. We do not.
When the Apostle Paul was called up to the Third Heaven, it wasn't him that did it? It was God. Same thing with John. It was not initiated by man. Do you get the point? Because when people attempt to control that process to be absent from the body, if they succeed, they are not in the presence of the Lord. They're in the presence of demons, this
is demonic stuff. And as many people have told stories about dabbling in this garbage and what has happened to them being groped and violated by demonic presence and entities, haunted literally, all kind of weird things happening. Health issues. Some have gone crazy, some paralyzed, can't breathe, and the list goes on and on. And these air not mind games at all. This is exactly what happens when people dive into these forbidden practices.
And what's crazy is thatC the Satanists practice this. That's what they do. So you would think people would think about it, but it doesn't seem that they're thinking about it and worried about that at all. They want that experience instead of eternal life It's I've got to have that experience now, and it's demonic. In a news article a couple of years ago, this is a case that happened in India.
A minor girl, a young girl, I think she was 14, has allegedly committed suicide in her attempt of astral traveling. As per the deceased's family, she was watching videos related to astral traveling on YouTube for the past couple of days. They added that she had earlier attempted it but was saved. Don't say how. The police have found some videos related to astral traveling on the victim's phone. This incident brings back the memories of a case in Delhi last year, where 11 members of a family were found dead in the house.
10 of them,10 of the 11, of the ill fated family were found hanging from an iron mesh of the ceiling on July 1st, and the body of a 77 year old was found lying on the floor in another room of the house. Police had found 11 diaries which had psychological musings and writings about attaining road to god via astral travel. These people died at the evil, spiritually hands of demons, all because of practicing Satanic acts and the Satan's are very clear on this. They explain all of this clearly, these are satanists that worship in the temple. Quoting, a satanic astral temple is a place where you can follow magic rituals of any form you want.
It's a place where I summon demons to do celebration of rituals for Satan and shape energy as I want. The pentagram is some sort of universal portal for demonic dimensions. I could do healing techniques on me or an astral body of others. This this is what they practice. People mess around with this out of body experience stuff, they do so at their own peril. And a lot of this is because people are yearning so hard for a spiritual experience. In a Pew poll a few
years ago, nearly, listen 30% of the population here in America off nonreligious affiliates said that they are spiritually and you think about that. We already have enough demons running around here. 30% are claiming to be spiritually.
That opens up gateways, depending upon the practices that they used and in the UK a few years ago. Think of B rated movies, one that doesn't even come on the big screen. A B rated movie, low budget and everything, displayed Ouija boards in this movie. After the movie Ouija board sales on Amazon
went up 300%. Spirit Board, Ouija Board, Demonic board, demons are able to speak through created images when worshiped as idols. And even though this New age movement promotes self divinity, they approve of all gods. With the exception of Jesus Christ.
All are welcome except Jesus. I'm glad. Don't get me wrong. I don't want to go there anyway. But what does that tell you? So many within this movement, they seek instructions from created objects, allowing those demonic influences the opportunity to run and ruin their lives. Remember the M O steal, kill, and destroy. That's what they ultimately do, even if it takes a lifetime. That's what demons do. In the book of First Corinthians in
Chapter 10, verses 19 through 20 to the Word of God reads, Observe Israel after the flesh: Are not those who eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar? Pay attention, it's very important. Verse 19, What am I saying then? Apostle Paul's writing, That an idol is anything or what is offered to idols is anything? Rather that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons and not to God. And I do not want you to have fellowship with demons. In other words, it's not about the object itself. It's the practice that gives way to demonic entities.
That's the issue. The idol itself is nothing. The food means nothing but the practice, that's a problem. And then people want to ask the question, Well, how? What does that look like? And my simple response is, God said so. He does not have to give me the quantum physics breakdown on how that works. In fact it's protecting us, because if He gave you the calculators, somebody will use it, if it was like that. But to be simple, when we pray to the Lord, we know we're praying to the Lord, don't we.
Don't we understand that. That agency, we believe in that agency, don't we? So when they're going to their whatever idol, trust me, you, there's a demon behind it. The Bible speaks clearly on this. So these new agers go on
this so called spiritual journey, only the end up, coming back with a bunch of demons, a lot of luggage, and a lot of problems. However, in other instances, as you see, people are grafted into into the entire demonic order. Those are the ones you see lifted up high, writing the books, doing very well. And strangely, they don't even get sick a lot, and many of them live long.
And it's not because of health care. These Principalities that are at work are now becoming more transparent today. Don't you notice that and it will continue.
And once again one of the main reasons is because knowledge is increasing. But where is this knowledge coming from? Have you ever thought about that? I mean, I recognize there are people out there that are very, very smart. I get it. I'm not one of them and I'm not jealous either Sometimes I think that's my own protection.
But where is this knowledge coming from? Before Steve Jobs produce his breakthrough computer, he said that he went to India, met a guru who appeared out of thin air. And this guru was 18 years old, had no father nor mother and claimed that he was a celestial being here to help humanity. And this is backed up by a couple of his partners. And even on the History Channel, a few years ago, they made a special. And Steve Jobs is not the only one.
Pastor J. D. and I were talking about this a little bit last week. Many people in high places have gotten instructions from what some call aliens, but in fact they're demons. That's what they are. TransHumanism. This is a real thing, and it's evolving fast, and COVID has helped it. This is converging with all kind of medical advances.
Amazing to see. They use nano technology that could do more than alter things but completely transform our nature as we know it. It is a philosophical movement that advocates for the transformation of the human condition by developing and making widely available sophisticated technologies able to greatly modify or enhance human intellect and physiology. Trans humanism, according to the India Times paper, here's how they view it.
But Transhumanist are not just trying to extend human lives, they also want to revive them. They aim to merge bioengineering, AI capabilities, 3D printing to resurrect the dead victims of any catastrophe, much like the pandemic on our hands right now. Ways of dealing with grief at the loss of a loved one can possibly be placated with measures like interactive custom holograms, social media feed powered by AI that could generate new messages based on pattern of the old ones. And soon the physical makeup for real ones.
Some of these ideas for someone who lost someone may seem noble, but they're demonic. All of this is being instructed by demons. God is the only one who gives life and takes life away. Man will never be allowed to achieve this. Never. Another area often being dismissed is what are UFO's. But, I will tell you, in many, many cases, of course, these UFOs are not fiction.
They just have the wrong name. That's it. What you're witnessing are demons, it's demonic activity. And you know, many years ago, pilots used to get reprimanded, and some even fired for going to the public, telling them what they saw. But in the last five years, Oh, man, every pilot is saying everything and then let it go. It's everywhere, almost like they're getting the world ready for something. I don't know. But do you see that?
It's like the Bible tells us that Satan is the prince of the power of the air, in Ephesians, Chapter two in verse 2. And these celestial or unexplained cosmic activities and glitches, no, I can explain them to you. They have a dark meaning in the demonic, and all of this technology and the fact that man fails to simply seek God, Demons have full access to sear the hearts of men.
They want to know so much except the one that they should know. In the Book of Second Corinthians in Chapter four verses 3 to 4, the word of God reads, But Even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, they're already dying, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God should shine on them. This is the image that we should be worshiping, this image.
It is Jesus Christ who is the very image of the true and living God. But what's happening today? Oh, a major shift in the demonic order, just as was foretold by the Lord, setting the condition for the masses to worship the image of the beast. That's what they choose. And we know this because the scriptures tell us. Wow, man,
the image of the true and living God. But you instead would rather settle for the image of the beast. I believe that this commentator said it best as he's writes these words. I'm quoting him. We have been given an intellect and free will to decide for ourselves whether we wish to love and voluntarily served God for all eternity or literally go to the devil. If we knew all that has happened since Lucifer led the revolt against the supremeacy of God there would be no test. By faith, the teachings of the
Scriptures, the prophets and Jesus Christ, we must believe and accept truth which are beyond the comprehension of our own minds to understand. We must exercise humility instead of pride. Those who remain humble and believe will see God. Those who become proud and inflate their egos with knowledge, until they lose all sense of their own littleness and limitations, will go to the devil.
I'm so glad that we have a way as out of all of this demonic garbage, it's about keeping our eyes on Christ. The Word of God tells us everything. We should use it to our advantage. Do our best to bring others into the collective fold of the Good One. Let the power of the Holy Spirit how
the Word of the true and living God demonstrate to the world who the truth is, because everything else that is outside the confines off this world is a lie. In the end, it's a lie. It could have 99.9% truth. It's not enough.
In the end is just a long lie. That's all it is and we don't need that because we have the whole truth. So why don't we stand so we can pray. Father in heaven, once again, I just want to thank You so much Lord, You just, Your word is amazing. And it's because of Your Word we're able to stand even as these times get darker, You told us that You'll always protect us and keep us, because we know You're so faithful. We don't have any fear.
So Lord would You continue to work in and through our lives so we can continue to do that will 'You have for each of us. May we go our separate ways? But take everything that You said to us tonight with us so we can use it for the furtherance of that kingdom to come. We love You and we praise You in the mighty name of Yeshua, Jesus the Christ we pray. Amen
