Kong Airport looks amazing. 24. Hours a day isn't it I. Said. I'm gonna walk but really I'm just standing here. Still. I'm moving, realistically. This. Lounge is amazing. Like, you really do feel like that home. That's. My mum right there figuring, out where we should go, so. We decided to use that base week and a staff is bringing us there. Here. We are. So. Same as SKYTEAM. It also needs to boot one(GA or VN) out of the alliance to join OW in exchange for PAL.
Even though NH plans to enter PAL into STAR, it is already crowded with the best airlines like LH, SQ, TG, UA. It also needs to unload either SQ or TG to join Oneworld in exchange for PAL
Oneworld needs PAL in order to have a chunk of Philippine destinations. Maybe it will codeshare with BA, IB, QF, JL(although Star's NH codeshares with PAL), AA, QR in addition to CX, MH.

Apparently Qatar Airways has fast wifi on some of their aircraft now, apparently for airline tech leaderboard, that’s the only thing that beat Emirates.

After everyone and their uncle showing flight reports, this was standard fare! Nothing unique or different until, I saw how you milked the system. How many hours did you get to the airport prior to departure? Seemed like hours as you were eating almost non-stop throughout the airport, using the spa and taking up room in those private cabanas. Having your shirt ironed was a bit much, even if they offer it. You and your “ma” are considered moochers by the airline as you take advantage of everything. The idea of the different areas is to give the passenger a choice and not an excuse to run like peasants from a to b to c etc. trying out, but not really savouring the experience! A sad story!
Well, it was, for me, a once-a-lifetime experiencing Cathay first in some way and who wouldn't get excited with this? There're of course reasons why airlines allow us to use the system this this way, not only did we pay a lot to fly to get the status, but also provided revenue for the airlines through credit card spending, loyalty etc. (where they earn more $$ from paying passengers). And I'm sure more people are using the system 'more' than we did. We were there 6 hours early and massage was full for the rest of the day, so how much more early did other people arrive? Anyway, thank you for watching and I hope you understand.

There are two major ASEAN(South East Asia) Airlines in each alliance. Star has SQ & TG, while Skyteam has GA & VN. Oneworld has only one major ASEAN airline, MH.

Thanks for watching! No, I go to school in Australia and we don't pay for business class. When we fly business, it's always by using miles, unless it's ridiculously cheap eg. error fare.
Correct, as long as we're safe I'm happy! Australia is well-known for its flying schools too and the Ansett story could also be a reason too.
One World Flyer, it doesnt matter on where pilots are from, it only matters if they fly, (and can land too). I suppose, australia has a big aviation industry, but few airlines to keep up with the growth, after Ansett/Kendell went bankrupt. So thats probably why there is so many Australian pilots flying for foreign airlines.
Not all but A LOT are Australians! Their mostly Australian & British and sometimes I do see American, Europeans and locals :D Thanks for watching!

Before, when they deliver the meal tray to you, in addition to what you already have on your tray, there would also be a cold seafood appetizer (shrimp, scallop, octopus, etc) instead of the empty space. Also, after the main course, they would roll out the cheese plate, then the fruit plate, then ice-cream, then beverages again, and then a praline to finish it off. Those are some of the things I could think of. Oh and they had salt/pepper shakers on your tray. Back in the 90s they also had special dishes for special occasions like "Pun Choi".

Thanks for asking. Put alliance and price aside, I would not consider HKexpress. My first preference would be Cathay A350, then ANA 787 (because i know there're good and haven't flown their 787 yet), HKA A350 then JAL 787. They're all very good btw.

Does that answer your question kit lau? Btw, I’ve passed the 1M mark on American Airlines and now have lifetime status with them and OneWorld. I’m now busily working on the elusive Platinum lifetime status.
