World’s best seafood is found in Sabah…7 STARS!!!
okie dokie smokey here we are at the jedi in the very tip of kudat which is way up in the north here in borneo so today we are super excited to go to a fish sanctuary for lack of better word we will be swimming with the fish we'll be learning about the fish we will be catching the fish and eating the fish fishy days so shout out to me for learning how to eat fish over the past three years of hard work you guys remember i was not much of a fish eater until maybe a year ago or a year and a half ago so we'll be jumping on one of these boats and going to a small island where there's a fish farm and testing our taste buds see if we like the fish okay let's go oh what does that fish eat you think let's be honest small children doesn't it eat small children look at the size of the fish man i'm not going in there at all oh my god i'm scared i'm scared i'm a little scared man it's a big fish by the way first time i saw a fish farm with uh potted plants for decoration very beautiful fish farm here i mean those are huge those are more than a meter long it's just big it's as big as it's a big it's as big as a four-year-old that's the four-year-old children swimming around down there oh man steve steve look at those ones yo it's mouth is big enough to put a bowling ball inside the milk is just big stuck my head right in oh my gosh this is so cool i am excited i'm excited i'm scared i'm going to talk i cannot brain right now cannot rain all right so they're trying to convince me to go swimming with these gigantic fish i didn't even realize i have a phobia of big fish until right now i've never been confronted with this fear i was ignorant of the fear but i'm telling you i'm genuinely scared to swim with a fish that's as big as my leg so what we've decided is to maybe warm up for the big fish experience we'll go to the to the ocean and do some snorkeling with normal sized fish as a way to warm up to swimming with fish well we got trained a little bit when we went to the fish by remember okay first stop snorkeling as a practice round then we're going to jump in with fish that could easily swallow me in one bite i'm more afraid of the height everyone's different okay snorkeling so all right so we've uh done the snorkeling in the ocean which was actually really great but i'm not much better prepared okay here we go so yeah let's do it do it do it do it do it baby it's so big it looks like a rock steve swim over here i'm gonna feed the fish okay yo you wanna i was so scared they were gonna bite off my toes i couldn't kick i couldn't get my feet in the water i was afraid they're gonna bite my toes ready oh my gosh you're so tough i don't know how you're this is so scary okay did i take me out no attack he was not afraid it looks oh my god look at all the fish you know this is crazy everyone is not afraid guys when you're in the water it's very scary because the fish got no eyebrows so you don't know what they're thinking they got no expression good job ifana you have no idea that this is the worst day of the fiji's life and it's with a bite human toes right now orb is in a good mood or bad mood oh my gosh ivana is tough and here laughing from up here oh good job oh gosh oh my gosh sea cucumber good job ivana you touching them you weren't afraid look at your smile wow yeah yeah thank you guys now you can see why i'm afraid to swim with the fish when they put the food in there the fish are like and how did the fish know the difference between the food and my toes and the thing about fish is they had no eyebrows so you never know what a fish is thinking it has emotionless and you never know if today is the day decides to eat human toast but i will say this shout out to ivana for really enjoying it and going there touching all the fish swimming around i couldn't bring myself to put my feet in the water because they're all around you behind you uh underneath on top so you're just nervous these things are gonna eat my toes i'm gonna be walking home like this no i think they're more scared off you than you are probably right but i was still uh a bit of a bit of a [ __ ] oh my gosh this is so much fun i'm enjoying this your mom's got a huge smile on her face this is amazing and i'm like oh gosh look at that it's so big huge fish everywhere you look like this easily everything is fresh from the sea wow and all cooked in steamed all right let's eat show me show me your skills show me your skills who like steam steam my gosh now this you're telling me this is food this is a food oh the seashell could have fooled me okay try to try tell me it was yummy mmmm whoa must be good look at the plate here guys just nice look at the table look at this okay oh it's high this is the sauce i prepared for ivana uh calamansi so there's the garlic chili pudding soy sauce out go ahead go ahead go ahead don't be shy a little small claw is always out looks yummy looks yummy yeah this one look at this looks yummy garlic and chili eat it eat it eat it um oh my gosh we are in seafood heaven this heaven for me i don't know about steve this looks like so good for me it's uh shrimp and tiger prawn let's try the that looks like something nice i'm not even sure how to eat this oh my gosh look at this the little one and this and the big one look at this oh that looks good ivana oh my gosh you're going to love it babe you're going to love it oh that looks good oh yeah oh my gosh that's right just right here's the spot it's so good when you come to sabah you must eat the seafood it's so amazing probably for me i mean the scallop itself look at this the best i've had with ginger on top and chili's yo the fish is so good ivana take it from me guys a non-fish lover this gotta be so sweet so fresh boom the frog the prawn is sweet also for me the food hopefully seven stars no way i don't believe this believe it so good whoa one of the best oh good evan is out here giving out seven stars double bonus i think it's the second time in jelly warrior history no yeah only one i can remember is chef renee's creme brulee pandan all right this is amazing seven stars i will say this the shrimp i'm doing damage to the shrimp you like it steamed prawns with this sauce is unbelievable it's uh soy sauce calamansi garlic and chili peppers chili patty absolutely absolutely six stars one star okay how about the fish we got tiger prawn amazing as you call i i do want to try a uh what are they called scallops as flo brings over the crab the scallops and the crabs right there very good you like it you like it yeah wow very sweet right yeah very good yeah all right do a crab piece come on steve don't be shy you're in seafood heaven you gotta do crappies crap crap crap how do i do it huh can you help me can i ask for your assistance i'm like a little boy yet flo is going to open up the crab for steve it's so hot just remove the shell and take the meat hold on hold on hold on be smart does the meat taste sweet crab is supposed to be sweet yeah is it right yes sweet meat so that's why you cannot have more ingredient uh ingredients just the basic one so that you can test the actual real recipe all right there you have it guys all right i will say six stars for the wow shrimp sticks are still pretty high steam prawns this is my top level mm-hmm one is breaking them the barrier with seven stairs how about the fish fish smell so very good oh they look yummy like that boom i think my favorite way to cook fish steam it's the best way yeah steamed fish is the best so far better than bakar or goreng yeah fried or barbecue barbecue better steam is healthier and then you can test the real meaning of the the fresh seafood yeah so i think crab is just one of my least favorite foods ever so much work for this little bit give it to me i've been in 15 minutes trying the flavor of me is very good so you like it you're just too lazy to open it yeah i want to be a king where someone prepares my food hey servants take the meat the meat is good like ice cream oh gosh no need yep okay wow very good wow that's good six stars absolutely incredible the meat itself is so yummy oh very good all right let's eat guys oh you're the best flow how much what's your hourly rate okay i'm gonna enjoy mine all right fine fine only bear when i you're gonna miss the food prawn this is the best part yvonne what's better tiger prawn or a regular prawn of course tiger prawns i give you the best you know what that means i'm the best no means you're the best i'm not supposed to say oh it's like a prawn let me sauce it up for you babe i don't even need this sauce to be honest it's good by itself oh she she bit it but i tasted it with this fish sand it don't be shy okay now we got the fish here guys which i've already tried before and honestly i've totally abandoned uh fork and spoon we're going all fingers on this meal fish this is called redfish or it's called what's the name of the fish i tell you when i remember okay no problem enjoy your food and then when you remember you can tell us that yo the fish might be the best party have you tried this yeah it tastes very good baby yo food on the fish farm yeah very good best food in sabah title of the video we found the best foods ever oh yeah let's go think about too many chili parties my mouth starting to burn hot it's cooked with like lots of ginger which i love soy sauce ginger soy sauce and the fish is steamed i really like ike and goreng when they fry it but steam is better it's just better and goes goring bakar right yes the car is good too even goring is good but steam is just top quality very good yo ivana is not joking around this is one of the best meals i've had in my life true right oh my gosh my lips are on fire i've had look i haven't touched my rice i got a whole plate of rice still i realized rice is just not important today i'm gonna fit as many steamed prawns in my body as i can possibly fit now live to never regret it oh that's a good one look at this ice cream cone float is the best shout out the flow okay that's a good car that's not a reason to book borneo trails then what is that corn on the cob no what's the best part you want to be honest what's the best part the best part no no be honest beyonce what's the best part honestly you mean food yes best food best food oh everything was so good tiger prawns or crab or the fish or the clams pick one ivana it's a must okay for me maybe the crab it's very good the crab was really good tiger prawn is a good cheeto oh my gosh everything is good excellent even if even the veggies you can't tell me the veggies are that good it is for real the veggies are good but the story of the day is this guy right here steamed prawns for the win it's good everything is good oh guys this is really good food oh no we're running out of mario i've seen prawns and i tell you what it's not only the quality of the seafood it's the whole experience today because after surviving my shark attack swimming with uh hammerheads the food is that much better my adrenaline was so high i'm quite tired now but the food was so good ivana what's better swimming with sharks like you did or food i cannot choose i can't choose man so overall what a great day come on yes very nice oh maybe maybe just a little bit but food was slightly better than yours so fresh guys and also in sabah the seafood is cheaper than in peninsula or malaysia and fresh earth so and we're in kuda that's where you get the cheapest and freshest seafood in the whole sava so come to kudat when you're in sabah i love it i love this place james fish farm that's the name of it and the food is excellent i asked the guy if he owns a restaurant he's like no we just cook here he's like that's like restaurants seven stars ivana's breaking a scale got seven stars for the second time and i just wanted jet lag where is history you want to jump in again you're a wild lady vaughn i look down there i think never mind that's their home i'll let them be there oh my gosh you're a wild woman you wanna i think the title of the vlog should be the time i nearly died in a shark attack yeah i think it was i think it is a killer whale something like that all right guys let's go back to uh kk as it were no we're still going to stay in kuda kudat let's go back to korea okay thank you mr ken i unbelievable just steamed prawns with a little bit of yeah it's cooked very simply but it's so flavorful amazing so good all right guys the journey continues here in cudet yeah let's go all right check it out guys we are now checking into this very fancy hotel huge open concept foyer or lobby i should say oh with a view over here fancy pantsy hotel super nice now first things first we just saw the tip of borneo which is in fact the northernmost point on the whole island of borneo there's a little beach there ivana and i enjoyed the swing set and we can now say we have been to the northernmost tip of borneo which is right here in sabah and pretty cool check out the view from the lobby we got a pool here right beside the ocean check it out super duper nice so we'll uh we'll check in now maybe rest for an hour and then go for dinner hopefully ken the fish farm owner can join us for dinner and there it is guys the tip of borneo this is where we just were so we were over here on the beach up there tip of borneo northernmost point of borneo okay let's check in and show you our room and then i see what your name is greg 104 104 104 show me the money hey yo nice ivana got black pepper beef yes please we've got honey lemon tea we got thai chicken i will say shout out to the thank you buddy salted egg squid surprisingly we've even got a veggie here it's so local it's called saba veggie it seems to not have a proper name it's just called the saba veggie which is like a leafy green quite nice and to top it off we've got some gearbox soup what is the flavor in gearbox it's so good is it starriness or cloves something deep it's so good in flavor it's so rich in flavor from the meat it's from the meat that gives it that flavor it's on that low deep kind of rich flavor very tasty so the meat or the bones is giving it it's kind of deep flavor almost like staring it's almost like um really nicely yeah so i think today was our best uh food day in all sabbah think so yes i think too yeah especially the seafood is like so good the seafood at lunch today was absolutely unbelievable and uh topping out for this meal so much for going on a diet no diet no diet and shout out to this restaurant huge restaurant gentle music playing lots of people all around and we're back at the jetty so behind me is the ocean again no better way to top off a fish experience after surviving a shark attack going out for a nice uh dinner by the jetty all right very good oh my god thanks for watching it's a shark i saw my own eyes it's never been a shock actually i'm not a
