Could you ever imagine that your first  experience living with nature, surrounded by   animals roaming the lands around you, would  be in Saudi Arabia? A place where ostrich   and Arabian Oryx roam among the Gazelles   join us in this week's special episode as  we take you on an adventure in northeast   Saudi Arabia to the Imam Turki Bin Abdullah  Royal Nature Reserve, for a first-hand glimpse   at some of Saudi's wildlife and make a visit to the important  and historical town of Lena. welcome everyone to "Epic Everyday Adventures"  and this week we're in one of our favorite   places, we are in the region of Ha'il, and  we're going to be taking you somewhere   really awesome, something a little different than  we normally do, we're going to be going to the Imam   Turki Bin Abdullah Royal Reserve it's going  to be fun, the Imam Turki Bin Abdullah Royal   Reserve has more than 60 species of animals  and over 120 different species of plants   so it's going to be fun and exciting, we're  going to be happy to show you guys that and   stay tuned, because we got some different sleeping  arrangements than you've ever seen us in before   out in the middle of the desert, and we're  excited to show you that, so stay tuned how are you doing? I'm fine. What about  you? good, good okay we're uh just here in front of the  building, we're gonna get together, and we've   got some other people joining, we're gonna do a  little group, and then uh we'll head out to the   camp from here, so just uh waiting for a  few people, as you can see there's a little   area where you can uh take a little rest,  while you're waiting to head to the camp   so pretty nice, they got tea, and coffee and  some dates in there, nice little setup so the camp is pretty far out here, it's pretty  remote, we've been driving for about 45 minutes   on this dirt road trail, averaging  about 60, 50 kilometers an hour, so   I think we're gonna, uh I think we're  gonna make it there soon, here we go okay take a look there, he's got to  unlock the gate, this whole area here   where the eco-lodge is, looks like it's gated,  so waiting for him to open it up, here we go okay we're here inside the  Imam Turki Bin Abdullah   Royal Nature Reserve and we're at the camp  which you can see right there behind me, got some   cool uh eco-buildings set up for us, so  check that out, stay tuned, here we go all right we arrived at our cabin,  this will be our home for the next uh   three days and two nights, there it is, check it out all right, pretty nice in here, I like it, it's a  hard uh thick canvas tent, nice uh structure around   it, really nice in here, I like this, I definitely  like, this is a good way to go camping right here   glamping, yeah this is uh definitely glamping um all right, you can see, how you like this place Noah?  Good. Noah approved, so that means it's awesome   glamping, he calls it glamping, nice, outside the  uh tent here you can see you got some windows   this is some pretty, pretty heavy-duty material  here, but uh two windows on each side, right there   and then here's, here's behind me right here,  beautiful, nice you can see right here all these uh   glamping style eco-tents all set up with Noah in the  background, and then over here this is the bathroom regular bathroom stall if you take a look right here, this is the tent for  hanging out, drinking some coffee, having some Chai,   we'll hit that place up next   all right we just left the tent with the coffee,  now we're gonna check this tent out right here   looks pretty awesome, come on, here we go nice, oh yeah, all right inside this  other gathering area, real nice setup lots of seats, lots of room for people,  give you an idea how tall the ceiling is here I am and you can see there's mommy, just  investigating, checking out the place   find anything good over there? got some dates there there you go, how do you like this place mommy?  I like it, I like the decoration, it's very   comfortable. Nice, very nice

there's mommy just uh relaxing right there, Noah's inside running  around enjoying himself, nice place here nice weather too, that's right and if you guys are wondering what mommy  is relaxing looking at, looking at, the moon   right there in front of us, there it is, nice,  okay what are you getting now Noah? a date   wow, yummy date, nice. You like dates? yeah, good.  They're healthy right? yes and they're yummy I'm back from the nice hot shower,  and now it's time to go to sleep   so we're gonna see you guys  in the morning, here we go   all right well good morning everybody, just uh  waking up out here, it's about seven o'clock and   uh mommy and Noah are still in the tent sleeping, a  lot of people uh here are still sleeping right now   but i think they got breakfast cooking, gonna be a  good day today, we're gonna do uh some uh exploring   with some of the guides, so stay tuned, got  lots of stuff in store for you, here we go   all right, we're in the car, we're gonna  go out and start exploring this uh   reserve area while we got  the opportunity, so here we go right out here, right along the fence  line you can see there's another ostrich   he's moving around out there, pretty cool there he is, hey oh there's another one out  there I think, yeah, another one right next to him Noah look, look, look over there ostrich okay take a look out there, there they  go, there they go, out here in the wild okay pretty cool seeing those ostrich let's   uh head down the trail and do  some more exploring, here we go don't know if you guys can see that, uh way out there  uh Arabian Oryx, uh running wild out there   I don't know if we can get close  enough, he looks pretty skittish you look right out there, you can  see the Arabian Oryx out there   I don't know how close we can get to it before he takes off running, we'll  see if we can get closer for you   here we go, just trotting along, along this fence  right in front of us, we're going to move along amazing seeing this uh out here in the wild like  this, and uh we don't want to get too close, we   don't want to scare him or uh anything like  that, so it's about as close as we're gonna get just here in the gathering room,  everybody's just hanging out   as you can see behind me having  a good time drinking some Chai and some coffee out of the wind, pretty windy out right now so  everyone's just hanging out and relaxing so here in this Royal Nature Reserve is this area called the  Taysiah Green Area, which is the area that we're   in right now, as you can see, it's all green and  it's actually the area that the camp is in   which is uh directly in front of me over there, one  of the things that really interested me in this   reserve is last year they planted 20,000 trees and  then this year in 2022 they're going to plant 200,000   trees, just in this reserve, one of the other  cool things about this reserve is they actually   use these specialized drones that carry seeds that  spread all the different uh vegetation and things   throughout the entire reserve, uh different  times of the year, as they grow, pretty cool, here we go   I hope you guys enjoyed seeing those  uh gazelle and the ostrich, now we're heading to   the road to go to a festival,  it's gonna be fun, stay tuned okay we're here at the Darb Zubaydah Winter  Festival, this is King Abdul-Aziz Palace   so we're gonna walk around check  it out, here we go this is called an Arabic, "Makshoosh" I like it you need a bracelet this is the first year of the  Darb Zubaydah Winter Festival here   so we're pretty honored to be here  for the first time, checking it out you want this Noah?
