WE WEREN'T EXPECTING THIS (sleeping on top of a volcano)
How are you feeling? Why did we do this? That's what I'm feeling. My face is already dirty. That's exactly what I'm thinking... why? Why? To see a volcano erupt... ... and to camp by a volcano. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity. Part one is like 4 hours.
If you have to go to the restroom, they don't have it. You have to dig a hole... ... and I think I have to go. This is tough, but check out the sunrise. Insane. Okay.
It's kind of a process for the both of us to sit on this hammock. We're just waiting for it to snap. Good morning from Antigua, Guatemala. We have been here for almost a week now. The city is super pretty. It's super cute, we've been exploring, walking around the city...
Having the food... But today we are gonna be doing something... I don't know if we would say it's fun, because we don't know, but it's different. I mean, it sounds fun and it sounds adventurous, which we like. But you know me, you know that I get worried about things. I keep us alive! That's that's my role in the relationship: to keep us alive. I keep us doing some adventures.
In this adventure, we're gonna be hiking up a volcano, which is... Acatenango and it's an overnight hike, so that should be fun. From this volcano, we actually have views to an active volcano: Fuego. One of the world's most active volcanoes. It's been erupting since the colonial years. Usually I'm the one that does the research. I'm sure you've done some research.
The last big eruption from Fuego was in 2018. It killed almost 200 people and it swallowed an entire village. But that's 2018, we're in 2021. Just keep us alive, that's your job. I'll keep us having fun. You bring emotion to our lives. Hopefully this is going to be a good emotion. It's hard doing these things, because we're not in control so i have no idea how it's gonna end up, what we're gonna be doing. That's the hard part for me, I'm feeling a little anxious.

We have to wake up like 3 in the morning because we're gonna try and do a hike to the volcano. Yeah, see the lava. Yeah, how are we going to do this? You just lay down.

After we ate something the clouds like just went away and we were able to see a little bit of the sunset the ending of it and we saw the lava so we were happy that we saw glimpses, yeah, like because, we didn't think the tour guides were like I don't think you're gonna we're gonna see anything. It was hard to record the hike. Part 1, it's like 4 hours...
