[Music] Good afternoon, guys welcome back to another video here in Pakistan specifically in Hunza valley. I’m here with the British legend. Hello guys. We've got the Posh brothers. Hello guys. How are we doing? How are we doing? And they're gonna be taking us over to a place where we can get some traditional food here. I guess you could call it somewhat lunch, somewhat dinner something in between and it's gonna be a bit closer to the hotel where we're staying at. What types of food do we have there? There’s Hunzai local dishes. Local dishes. Alright, alright. And we got oil with bread and the molida, in Gojal if we went to Gulmit there is a restaurant called Bozlaj so there is traditional- There have many options there we have molida and we have [____] soup and traditional soup. Oh, lots of good ones tonight guys, we're

gonna try out something little and then one of the next upcoming videos, we're gonna go to a full-on traditional place and that's gonna be delicious so make sure you look out for that upcoming video soon. But for now, we're gonna cruise into about 20 minutes, 15 minutes back into town where our hotel is and try out the food here. Guys we've got a beautiful sunset in process right now. We just missed it. That's the thing about being in the mountains. Obviously, the sun's got a little less distance to travel so days are a bit shorter but we still got quite a bit of sunlight as some of the reflections come over the top of the mountains. Quite beautiful. I

don't know if you guys can see it very well in the GoPro but that cloud is just like heavenly looking the way it's lit up in orange and over here guys look at the clouds. They're just orange right at the top from the sun's reflection. What a view to drive into and look at that view guys. Unfortunately, GoPro can't pick it up very well but you can just imagine what it's like here. You got the mountains in the background, just a light amount of sun still peering through and the moon and some stars coming out. So now, we're just about a block or two away from our hotel and we're gonna be gonna have some traditional food right down here at the Hunza Food Pavilion.

They have a local food call chap shoro it's very amazing. Perfect Oh, fresh eggs. Very nice. Perfect. The fresher, the better. We say yes. No problem, thank you so much. Alright, we've got the process of chap shoro being made. Basically guys, what we're doing here is we requested the guys if

we can try some traditional food that's specific to Hunza. There's only a few restaurants so most of this local food is made in people's homes and then you can find just a couple restaurants like this and we're at one of them. And so step one is she is kneading that dough with a rolling pin or not even a rolling pin that almost looks like just a little wooden type of device. What's it called again? Chap shoro.

I am making organic food. Organic food yeah. And what's inside? Local coriander, mint, onion and green chili a zafran, and garlic cooking walnut and apricot oil. I’m making organic food. That's delicious. Making- by making everything fresh. Wow, very impressive. So guys, you can literally only get this specific type of cuisine here in Hunza and look at that. That process just one finger tosses the side over it, almost makes like a pie crust type thing. Seems like a very similar to a paratha

not- Local pizza. Local pizza. From the local walnut trees. That's the big thing about all traditional food here. It's only made with ingredients from Hunza, yeah.

Yeah. Wow, I’m purchasing it farmers. Oh okay. And it seems like, it cooks pretty quick there. It's making me very hungry. That’s gonna be delicious. I’ll show you with me because I go to farmers there is purchasing organic eggs. Oh organic eggs too. Can I try the thing? Yeah. Yeah, yeah. So basically we're- we're going like this. How’s that going? Make sure this thing stays circular.

And you can tell guys, I’m not necessarily a professional in the kitchen but I’ll tell you, I’m definitely gonna try. Oh see that side, that's a little thick there. Move it over this way and try washing golden rums. It's coming along nicely and voila. Okay we might need your help on that.

Sometimes you gotta try it out though guys. She's gotta fix my mistakes. Oh wow, so quick. Wow yeah that takes a lot of practice to be able to get to that speed. You can smell the ingredients, fill up the restaurant here. That is the homemade soup right there. Anything warm right now in the cold

winter weather guys is gonna be nice because it's gonna warm us up because during the day, it was very warm here then in the evenings, that's when we can really feel the brisk cold of Hunza valley. And now we have the smells of what's the name of it again? We have the smells of the Chap shoro as well as the soup. As you guys know in every country I go to, I always am horrible with pronunciation and remembering the names of things but let me just tell you the most important thing, it smells delicious. So what's all inside of the soup? We've got noodles and then what else is in here? Coriander, mint, dry cheese inside. Dry cheese means qurut. Very nice. Qurut, qurut, dry cheese. Oh we got one sneaking away come back here. Alright, let's try it out here.

My entire body just warmed up and the tastes of all of these flavors infused together in the warm soup. Very nice. Very, very nice. This is chap shoro. This is famous dish. Oh it's all arriving guys. The feast is coming. Alright guys, this is what the final product looks like. Cheese.

Oh yeah. As you can see, you guys can see all of the infusion of the flavors in here inside the noodles. That's gonna be great and then we have a fresh cheese here that we're gonna be dipping this in there. So let's dig in, so the soup was delicious already I’m loving the traditional food. Now time to try this one. I’m gonna try one bite first without the cheese. So I can see what the flavors taste like and then I’ll move over to the cheese.

That is delish guys. I’m surprised that more people because they were telling me only domestic Pakistani tourists are the ones who come up here but they don't usually eat the traditional food. And so we were surprised there was only maybe two restaurants in this area but I’m surprised because this tastes absolutely delicious. Basically, you can taste the chicken in there. I can see how it's a cousin of maybe a pizza along with all of the veggies in there.

Now guys, we gotta try it with the cheese here. I don't think I’ve ever had this type of cheese. So let's make sure it counts there, you can get the flavors in. The cheese, add-on I must say is very, very nice because you have the super-hot piece of bread and all of the flavors infused and then you have the cold cheese on it. And what are you boys eating over here? And what's in there? It's aloo and daal inside this rice. Wow, looks delicious and are these types of meals like what your

family's cooked back at home? Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah for a holiday meal. You'll make like a whole bunch of all of these different items. For on special events, we make this type of like this is the common one. That's the common one. Alright so, that's usually the go-to there. Yeah, it looks quite nice.

Enjoy. Enjoy too. Shukriya [Thank you] So Laal Shehzadi who just made this delicious meal for us is we're lucky actually because if- if this was summer time, we'd be waiting in line and so since we're here in winter, obviously there's not as many tourists so we're able to get here and enjoy our food quick. So if you're coming here in the summer time, I will tell you it is worth the wait to try this food because our stomachs are gonna be nice and full after. Shukria [Thank you]. I already polished off the soup. The Posh brothers, they took out their meals you know. It’s about two minutes. They act like

they haven't eaten in a week with how fast they ate those. We got Harry over here. How you making the progress there? Guys I don't know what to eat. They're both so good and I feel like there's so much food balancing. Yeah I’m having half a spoon of this and then a bite of that. Yeah so good guys. So good obviously out here in the mountains guys we're going

up elevations when we're just walking to restaurants and all these places so to have these larger meals is very necessary because we're burning a few extra calories. So very good. Oh we have some green tea too. Oh and this is made from the local ingredients also. Yeah. Very nice. This is what we call mountain tea right like what we had last night? Yeah, this is local ingredients mountain tea. Mountain tea, oh yeah. Oh and mint.

I can smell the mint in there. That's gonna be delicious. So guys, we have the indoor seating right here and then right down here, we have a lot more seating. So as you can see here, we have multiple groups that can sit there. She was telling us that there was about like 25 people that were here right before we arrived. So as you can imagine here, obviously it's a bit dark right now guys

but looking out, you have the mountain views while you're enjoying the meals here and that's over here at the Hunza Food Pavillion so- Alright, time to test out the mountain green tea here. This is the best flavor of green tea I’ve had. We had one of these also last night when we got to the hotel and I had never tasted a green tea with these types of flavors. And the great part is it helps with the digestive system. So I was thinking maybe that's why today when Harry and I woke up we were both so energized because we had a cup of this right before bed. What do you think Harry? Yeah definitely, we were buzzing today. Yeah, yeah for anything. Yeah, lots of

energy. So it's really a great tea, definitely a must if you're coming to Hunza is to try out this tea here at the Food Pavillion. 1500 for this delicious meal. Thank you so much. No change though. Thank you, no change. No change. Thank you. Thank you. Oh that was delicious once again. Shukriya [Thank you] Allah hafiz [Goodbye]

Nice to meet you too. Yeah alright, guys we have the lights on, so you can see all of this seating here both in the evening, it's nice. And as I was saying though the mountainous views, imagine having that green tea with those mountain views. Oh it doesn't get any better than that. We're a summertime

tea waking up here then have breakfast. So definitely when we come back here in the summer, we're gonna make a stop here that's for sure, right Harry? Oh you can bet your damn--. He’s in, he's in. And we got the policeman chillin here. Alright, guys fast forward a little bit after a delicious traditional meal, we're going to be stepping down into some traditional Hunza music. Oh yeah, we can hear it. [Music] Very nice. Very good. Very good. Let me introduce you to the base drum, that is Adil, next to him with the side drum is Kareem, next to him is Mr. Sohail, next to him is Mr. Zuhaib and he is one of

the poets of Hunza. Wow. May be supposed to sing for us in between. We will start with galwar which is a welcome tune to our guests that you could enjoy and this is a welcome tune for you. I’m really excited for this one guys.

[Music] So this was a welcome tune, and then we are moving forward now. There is a special thing for a local dance that I’m sure always will perform. Wow. This is how we dance.

[Music] Very good. Very good. You got dance moves. [Music] I see what you mean when you say it's very breathtaking. Wow. I would give myself a one out of ten, worst dancer here. You got some good dance moves though. Very good.

I was- I was following your lead though. So good, good teacher, yeah. Yeah, good dance moves too. [Music] This type of dancing gets us going. We're getting pretty good though. We got a good teacher here. We got teacher number one and teacher number two. Oh great music, great music. Thank you. He's a tribe leader leader. Tribe leader.

I will say, I’m not surprised. He’s a great guy. We've enjoyed our time with him, a man full of wisdom and really good jokes. The only person, the only younger person. The youngest tribe leader.

[Music] Getting the grand finale right now. What do you like to play the most? I wanna hear your favorite. Alright, then we'll turn it on Harry on the flute. [Music] Thank you guys so much. Amazing music.

I hope the next time we come to Hunza next summer, we can meet you again Insha-Allah. Shukria, shukria [Thank you]. Thank you guys. Shukriya [Thank you] Shukriya [Thank you] Thank you. Thank you, see you. Bye, thank you. Thank you, bye. Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you all, thank you. Thank you guys.

Nice to meet you. Thank you very much. Insha-Allah [God willing]. Do come again yes. Yes, thank you so much. An amazing night tonight, thank you so much for arranging it. It was a great time, traditional music. Our dance moves, we’re getting better by the end of the night, yeah. Hopefully by next year, they're gonna be a little better. We might have to practice them. So I’m sure you brought your best because it's amazing that in

the first attempt you have already like covered up like around 90 percent of the moves. So I’m sure that next time you you will completely practice, Insha-Allah [God willing]. Thank you so much. Really appreciate it. You made it a very special experience. Thank you, I really appreciate it. Thank you. Thank you, good dance moves. Yeah, yeah YouTube channel please. Yousaf. Syed Abid Shah.

It’s nice to meet you. You're all from Karachi? Yeah, yeah great city. Islamabad, great city too yeah, yeah we had a nice time. We spent almost one week in Karachi, five days in Islamabad, very nice people, good culture and hope to come back there soon. Thank you. Inshallah [God willing] Thank you. So guys I’m literally still out of breath because we did so much dancing. You only saw maybe a little bit at the beginning of me dancing but actually at the end, I think I got I don't wanna say good but I at least picked up to the rhythm. I was trying to get my feet moving to the beat but like

I know I’m gonna have super sore legs because like whenever I’ve ridden my bike like many, many miles or kilometers, I can like have this feeling where they're just like jelloy. They're just like you know really weak right now and that's how they are because we probably did like five or six like five minute rounds of like non-stop dancing moving around like. But it was such a cool experience, like definitely one that will remember forever and so really grateful to experience even more of this hospitality. And Hunza hospitality is definitely one of a kind here too. So I’ve had so much fun today and I hope you guys enjoyed the video and if you have, smashed that thumbs up. And if you want to see more videos both here in Pakistan and all

around the world, hit that subscribe button. As always, thanks so much for watching. I’ll see you guys tomorrow. [Music]
