is place doing come on driving saving some like corners yeah this is one one way short one one meter shorter [Music] this magical place was our paradise base camp for the next few weeks amazing sunsets crystal clear turquoise water great company from other van lifers and also turkish people in short the place to be [Music] it is so refreshing it's just amazing oh and the sun is coming out was time to welcome 2021 with a big [Music] group another beautiful morning in turkey it's so interesting it's supposed to rain all the time but we are missing out in rain which is pretty nice seems to be like a micro climate here and we have breakfast again i feel like i'm always filming when we're eating so you may get the impression that we are only eating maybe it's true yeah maybe it's part of the game we have a lot of time preparing food and make it with a lot of love and this turkey's water like it's not like it's really so turkish and blue it's not edited or something crazy while we were having breakfast a big storm was starting to roll in from the sea to the shore i am sharing the beauty of this place for the next two minutes with you and i invite you to lean back relax with a pizza [Music] it is a little bit windy so windy [Music] so [Music] with dan's badass truck we go to mount kimera it's not just a normal mountain this mountain is actually burning chimera mountain is an ancient place where people have actually lived long time ago the fires are grouped over an area of 5 000 square meters and are fueled by gas emissions which have been burning for at least 2 500 and then gangster style back to the base camp oh and don't worry the cat survived at least this time [Music] from the mountain of fire my way leads me to palmocale the cotton castle on the way there i was facing my first snow this year [Music] hello hello it's snowing i found snow i am on an elevation of 1 500 meters it's uh 1 degrees below zero and it's pretty cold windy and snowy crazy good that i have all season tires on the fat lady it's doing great [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music] so as mentioned pamukkale means cotton castle in turkish palmokale is recognized since 1988 as a world heritage site together with hierapolis hieropolis is an old ancient city just nearby the area is famous for a carbonate mineral left by the flowing of thermal spring water with a temperature of approximately 30 degrees celsius it is a tourist attraction due to the status and its natural beauty behind me you see the famous antique pool which is pretty nice it has an amazing color and transparent water but it's 100 litre per person to swim in it which is crazy it's like 11 euro hey man like 11 euro in for for turkish people is it's a whole of money and we paid for the entrance for the whole park already 80 lira which is also for turkish super super expensive so i'm not going to take a bath here [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] okay we are on the last playstore we had a abundant hotel which is huge it's just huge and we decided to see a little bit today tonight and then explore the rest of the tomorrow at daylight could be spooky [Music] is [Music] [Music] oh this is we're going on another last place mission to explore some stuff [Music] yes i'm not sure how true it is but the story of this hotel is that the guy built it without a proper permission basically he didn't win the official bureaucratic way and therefore he was banned from the land and forced to abandon this beautiful hotel [Music] [Music] hmm [Music] [Music] hello [Music] [Music] you broke his ear [Music] it is just crazy it's not only huge it's like really built for quality it's everything is handmade you see like every stone every sculpture every it's like an art piece it's like millions and millions and millions of euros it's such a shame that it's just falling apart it's getting not used and still in good shape i think it was operating until 2010 maybe 2011. so it's like 10 years
