Today, we're going to the most popular place in Peru, Cusco. It's one of the highest cities in the world. It's located 3,400 meters above sea level.
Cusco's height is one of the top 10 highest cities in the world. Cusco is a city where attitude sickness is a big problem. There's a high risk of getting sick in this city. The reason why we're going to Cusco is because the distance from Lima to Cusco is about 1,100 kilometers.
The bus from Lima takes about 24 hours. But I'm taking a domestic flight from Peru. We'll reach Cusco in 1.5 hours from Lima. It's 2 PM right now. My flight is at 2.30 PM.
We'll reach Cusco at 4 PM. Our flight check-in has started. As you can see, it's a long line. Lima has a domestic and international airport combined. So, whenever I come here, whether it's domestic or international, I always have to come to this airport. The temperature in Lima is around 25 degrees centigrade.
Cusco's temperature is around 15 degrees. I bought a jacket from Lima so that I can use it in Cusco. It'll get cold in Cusco at around 10 degrees.
I'm going to board the flight. My airline is called Sky Airline. It's from Chile. It's a 1.5-hour domestic flight. All the procedures were completed in 5-10 minutes.
I paid around Rs. 5,000 for this airline without a check-in package. I have a check-in baggage as well. So, I paid around Rs. 9,000 for this flight. It cost me around Rs. 4,500 for a check-in luggage.
