Travel with me to Norway in Vlogmas 14 | Tamara Kalinic
for [Music] [Music] good morning guys it's 4:34 a.m. [Music] [Music] this is the best I could do with my face I just combed my eyebrows and applied a tiny little bit of two products the road blush in Freckle because the one I normally wear is packed away and um ourg glass warm beig Foundation just a tiny drop I'm going to do a bit of lip liner this this is the Wonders skin one in Saddle here I go love it it's going into my travel bag and what else do we need maybe like cuz it's going to be a very long journey because of course there's no direct flight for the time that I need it um to Oslo so a tiny bit of this beautiful brown liner into the Lash line just a bit to make sure that when I arrive I feel a bit better I'll get my hair done when I arrive there and all of that good stuff but this two going into my hand luggage and now the car is coming in basically 10 minutes so let's close up and let's leave [Music] it's 5:32 currently we just got to the lounge it literally just opened at 5:30 so I want to sit here I'm feeling a bit dehydrated probably because my body's like what's going on the flight's at 6:25 so I have like around another half an hour at the lounge I wanted to tell you what I'm traveling in and I feel like this is pretty much what you've been seeing seeing me during this vlogmas a lot it's the brown Kashmir set but I have under a pair of leggings which you can't see but yes I do because apparently it's like - 7 in Oso - 7 so I think when I arrive just a pair of Kashmir sets not going to be enough I'm wearing the M mu coat because I realized like it's so warm it's really thick it's really warm and you know normally like I'm the kind of Habitual person that likes to wear same stuff do same stuff for like little periods as you will know from last vlogmas when I constantly wore same pair of K jeans I could have done again but I decided to change things up a bit so that it's not constantly same thing over and over and over again so I was going to wear my brown Birkin for travel instead I'm wearing this beautiful huge andama tote that I absolutely absolutely love and we're going to have a pretty long layover in Frankfurt so I might even show you there a more of everything it's three-h hour lover but it's fine honestly one other thing I wanted to say is that it's been quite a while since I got up um at 4:00 a.m. for a flight I don't I don't remember last time that I had to fly so early but we're going with my Teresa on an adventure and they do such incredible trips my Mya team and some of my friends will be there as well and honestly for them 100% guaranteed I will do it [Music] hello from Frankfurt it's not even 8:00 a.m. so as you can see outside it's not fully day it's still kind of night it's so funny because I've been awake for so many hours yet I haven't seen daylight yet but it's okay what I've got is an oatmeal clate it's delicious well I have a very funny story so I was cing to get an oatmeal CL in this one Cafe that I know and just like outside of lansa lounge and as I was queuing I heard the Barista and the lady working at the desk speak in Serbian I don't know like any Serbian catian Bosnian it's one of our languages that I could understand and I was like right so when my turn came I ordered in our language and the guy said like sorry I don't understand so I proceed again to order in our language and he said and she and then I said okay um I ordered in German I can say oat milk or half a milk in pretty much every language because is essential for my survival so I proceed to respond in German and then he responds back in English and then I was so confused I paid I went on the other side you know where you wait for your coffee and then he continued speaking to his colleague in our language and I thought I was even more confused coffee is delicious he did a great job the airport is packed because everybody's going somewhere to work probably early in the morning and I have 3 hours to kill probably going to have breakfast at some point but not yet it's way too early I'm going to have my coffee do some work and just sit here with you guys [Music] [Music] [Music] now starting approach toow airport kind to make sure that your electronic devices and hand are get S correctly for ending [Music] hello from Osa you guys my first time in Norway believe it or not I've never been I've heard so much I even have friends from Norway but I've never been here so very very exciting times I'm starving to be honest waiting for the luggage on Belt number seven here we are First Things based on just what I first impressions based on just what I could have seen from the plane is that well never seen nature like this in my life in all honesty I sent pictures to Philipa and I said well never seen anything like this I mean I knew obviously at geography in elementary school enough to know that Norway is just has so much beautiful nature but this was almost looked too like fake you know what I mean too good to be true so what did I do during the 2hour flight I had to connect to Wi-Fi on this occasion and I worked on my wedding which by the way woke me up last night at 2:00 a.m.
and I I'm not a stressed person like that or anxious person I'm like such a yes or no easygoing person but the thing is that I've never done anything like this before and it's like novelty for me and I don't know where to start and I don't know how to do it like if I was doing anything else that I've done before I would know exactly how to tackle it but it's just such a mystery for me on where to start like doing certain things from and how to handle them that just certain things like certain things are easy like getting a dress you know that's easy because obviously done that many times before even though it was not a wedding dress but still so yeah long story short the bowl is rolling come way to arrive so I can eat something and I can wash my face and moisturize it and look a little bit more presentable [Music] this is where we're staying guys guys guys we made it in my beautiful hotel room I'm going to show you everything around which you can't see right now I'm so starving and I need to right now order some food cannot wait anymore hello hi I would like to order some food please hello oh perfect I would like to order some food please could I please have a beyond meat Burger yes vegetarian with fries and truffle mayo and Diet Coke that's all thank you thank you bye I hope I'm going to be able to literally survive until the food arrives but look how gorgeous is this room we're staying at a hotel called Soo and it's in basically the city center according to my lovely driver that was just so kind and told me so much about it have you guys seen this little lint Santa that I got on my flight I'm going to do some work I'm going to unpack some stuff not all of it the room is so stunning I got some gloves for skiing I'm very happy about that and in the wardrobe I have the reason why we are here which is the exclusive Monclair capsule collection for myesa this is insane this jacket I'm genuinely wow wow wow wow wow wow I don't know what to say but I have an outfit for tonight which is this one here like the cord Joy suit love it you will see it as well tonight and this is my look for tomorrow I'm so excited about it I mean the architecture is stunning look at these wardrobes they're kind of like a little bit Soho House wibes you know as you've heard I've ordered some beyond meat burgers or Burger that is and I am so ready to get refreshed I have a fitting as well with my Teresa them in around an hour but in an hour I have a coal for my wedding oh my god look they use the bito bder freak and it's the scent that I wore when I met filipo so I have a call about my wedding in around an hour but it's going to be very quick ketchup so yeah going to do that then eat call fitting and then tonight we're going for dinner I have no idea where my friends are but they should already be here or they should be arriving here anytime now I feel like a person that traveled from 4:00 a.m. till 2: p.m. feels basically you know what really helped I had such a kind kind driver I think you maybe have heard him a little bit he was like giving me all the tips about osaw telling me what I need to go and visit it was which just so sweet and so kind like honestly already first impressions of Norway or also more precisely 10 out of 10 by the way just saw that here at this hotel they have this book by Matthew Walker while we sleep I read this book and it's really really good I recommend it I am going to try and find it online so you guys can read it because I really enjoy that book I just received this right now I'm hoping it snacks it says my 3on mon Clair groby and then inside it says Dear is Samara we're so happy to welcome you to our Mon My 3 experience here in Oso hope you will have a wonderful time and can't wait to see you soon the Mya team they're the best I love them I'm so kind and so sweet so young yet so competent honestly incredible I hope it snacks I don't think it snacks I'm just hungry let's see ah it's even better than snacks amazing for skiing afis bertoo love this by the way but also chocolate Craig Al alib Bonet I feel like maybe the local let's see what is this oh it smells so good salt caramel hazeline how do I now not eat this chocolate before my lunch arrives because it'll probably take like 30 minutes for my food food it smells Divine you cannot imagine oh my god wow okay I need to close it now I don't know what to tell you but I'm yeah I'm going to be patient I'm going to try and pack and keep busy and by doing that I'll basically try and not eat chocolate okay let's do it [Music] I pack these ski boots I mean not ski boots no boots and then I need my beauty bags I didn't pack that much it's just that it's bulky because it's winter clothes okay guys never been more excited in my life okay I'm so ready and the french fries are delicious I mean they forgot the travel Mayo but it's okay I went to a fitting I picked a few pieces like these sunnies for tomorrow and this thermal for skiing and then I really really love this Monclair knit and jacket so very much my vibe I would say I don't know if you agree but I picked these as well and now I want to wash my face shower and do face mask and all of that good stuff so I can start getting ready again in an hour for tonight I'm so excited about seeing my friends that's what I'm really excited about I just want to like recharge a little bit alone before I go and see them okay guys getting a little refresh no we can call it a refresh right refresh um before tonight's dinner tonight's dinner is at the Opera oh that's so nice I cannot even imagine I'm so happy to see the building also because I heard it's beautiful and it's going to be like a very beautiful long table so very impressive so far like for me honestly I philipo always told me it's my fiance that Norway was like his favorite country he's ever visited but he went like on like to cities like FS somewhere like I don't even know doing like handstands on the edge of the world like very wow I love it that's exactly what I wanted like the cool girl wave I was always like thinking that he's exaggerating a little bit but actually it's so beautiful and he told me that tomorrow I have to have Norwegian salmon for breakfast yes you do so that's what I'm going to try idea that's what I'm going to try tomorrow and I'll show you my look as soon as I'm ready to go okay guys the hairdresser left I'm touching up my makeup uh the look is going to be so gorgeous tonight but I'm using this artist pens what are they called artist color pencil extreme and they are supposed to last very very long time and I'm applying the brown one which is in shade Limitless Brown on the crease kind of like um double liner not sure how to explain it hopefully you can see it oh sorry about this flickering annoying thing like this and then I'm going to blend it in because this really lasts long time I obviously am wearing my lip tint but guys something really funny happened kind of really funny well really funny for someone a little bit immature like me so I ate my Santa Claus half of it at least and when I opened it it looks really suspicious I'll have to insert a picture of what it looks like when I opened it and I honestly of course I sent it to all of my friends I was like I got this Santa Claus what do you guys I think cenia doesn't believe me she thinks it's fake but it's not like I genuinely obviously I so who cares but I was like okay Santa I mean ho ho ho literally it was a bit like I had to share my immature observations with you guys of course because you guys are my friends and I'm going to do a touch of these last minut I never know which one's which okay this one I'm going to use the brown one Shadow love it it's so soft and milky and yummy here I need to blend it a bit better the line yes that's it and then a bit of a ey Shadow here too okay and okay and I don't want to look like I'm wearing too much makeup because like Monclair you know but my look is insane we're going to see it in a second just wait for it basically tonight I'm going to the Opera House in the ski suit but that's the plan that is the plan and it's actually really really really stun so hold on ouch this is my bad arm come on come on you can do it yes done and the net is it going to be too much am I going to be too hot but then I don't want to be too cold and catch cold and get sick you know this skate knit the one that I wore so much last Christmas all right and then the jacket that I'm crazy about I just need to understand if I need them can we just clarify how does this work [Music] okay this jacket is so insane so basically you can't get the arms out look but it's so insane insane insane insane let's put the boots on as well because I'm like so obsessed with this look I didn't even need to get my hair done I'm wearing I'm going to wear my Mumu boots because they are warm and probably not the most appropriate for Opera but guys we're here with my 3 long CL what do you expect me to wear a suit so it's not like I can really go in a gown you know yeah now you can't even see what I'm wearing great let's see if I can show you this outfit fully almost but yeah it's this now very hot obviously and I need a bag as well which bag should I [Music] wear I don't have many bag options but I have the new cake bag which I love is just that I won't have really a shoulder and this bag is a perfect shoulder bag I'll only have like hands free and for handsfree the best would be this little lady I mean this is so funny hold on ooh maybe the green one cuz it looks almost white cuz I love this bag but I can't wear it you know on the body so I think I'll wear the green it's quite snowy as well this one okay this is what I'm going to wear as a bag it's a little bit too complicated for me let's see where's CIA CIA she said she's on the fourth floor if I'm now going on foot oh you're so pretty there no I literally am like going skiing but then my ski outfit for tomorrow is like C Roy you're like so Opera perfect ready guys the real ice princess how long you Elsa was a queen and you're Elsa I'll be Anna okay it took a lot of convincing don't you love that all my best friends love being a main role and I'm like always so happy I'm wanted to say I always let you be the main role my best friends you clearly don't understand the definition of fast and clity there's only one have you been watching all of my Vlogs I did the last time I talked to you I watched until like day four or five which day wasn't when I talk to the more important question is if Melissa has been watching all my Vlogs and the baby it might be not because she's doing her soul okay more important if just the baby has watched them I think independently cuz we're trying to like show the baby baby what some for exactly which is Hermes AP and a good mindset exactly like live lessons look pretty you look so pretty it's - 7 outside do you know I'm so hot I'm like this is going to be perfect for you my ice it's so beautiful here they're checking in on us ah there there's our crew we're just very slow walkers in these outfits you know look who it is look who it is hello how are you good I love that I'm not the only person in like a snow out vent it smells so good look at this to look good W we're breaking the vibe here we're laugh like you two in combination actually for just one time it's 20 to1 you guys and I woke up at 4: so I have a headache right now but before I end today's Vlog I wanted to say a few things one thing is that I'm really sorry that today was a little bit tricky with vlogging tomorrow we're going in the snow we're going to mountains we're going to be skiing so hopefully it's going to be a little bit more interesting for you guys but I had a lot of like interesting thoughts today I guess because I spent time reflecting there was one thing that I saw that really resonated with me and it made me think a little bit and it said like like we all have our Inner Circle right like maybe our best friends or cousins parents um whoever the close people people are like my close circle is quite small I would say I have three best friends like you know it's kind of that sort of thing uh situation at my sister at my parents of course Etc but we then also have like a bit Wider Circle of Friends and Wider Circle friends and so on we tend to be the nicest to the people that we actually know the least like the more superficial relationships and the people that we uh that are closest to us very often we tend to like for example um you have a Mis call from your I don't know like partner or uh father or grandparent whatever and then you're like a it doesn't matter I'll call them later but you go and call your best friend or like or a friend or someone else right and the point was that we should actually be the nicest to our most Inner Circle and then save our energy as the circle goes around not saying that like to a random person in a taxi you should nice because honestly it's my pure absolute pleasure to be like super nice to people but just take a second and ask yourself who are we spending the most energy on our closest Circle or the circle that doesn't actually deserve it in a way so I think it like made me reflect a lot as I'm growing older and I think like after I reach my 30s this is like a topic that I'm thinking about a lot how important it is to me that my inner circle gets the best version of Tamara and that I save the energy on everybody that doesn't actually deserve it and I'm not saying this about this is not the story about me this is a story about you because keep in mind that you for sure are different with different people so there are different people that are receiving different versions of you but who gets the best version of you and do they deserve it is there a person that when they call you but you're speaking to someone else you hang up on that other person so that you answer to them and who deserves you more it's not that we always want people who are treating us the best unfortunately but I do because I've always been like that I've always given as much as I'm given to the people and relationships and I think that's one thing that's kind of like a little food for thought hopefully it will help some of you and I just wanted to start a little conversation about this because I think it's it's very very interesting topic for the end of vlogmas 14 are we there okay anyway thank you guys for watching I'm going to go wash my
