Hello, Namaskar. Welcome to another investment theme video. Before recording this video, I would like to express my inner pain in front of you. Actually, today's theme is Tourism and Hospitality. And I am feeling so bad that I am recording on this theme today. Although I was preparing for it, so I had to record it.

And what happened in Kashmir is very painful. The upliftment of tourism, which started a different level of economic activity there, because of tourism and terrorism, there was a kind of full stop or at least a comma and its impact will come. So it is a very sad thing that I have to record it.

And because of tourism, the lives of the tourists there were lost. It is very painful. These things always impact me a lot because I think I am more human than a machine. And because of that, I don't feel good that I am recording this theme today. But it is what it is.

He kept saying that it has to keep going, it has to keep going, it has to keep working. So in today's theme, you know that it is a tourism and hospitality theme. So the presentation is in front of me, I am in front of you, you pay attention.

We are going to talk about why this theme is a structural long-term theme in India and will remain. And you know that I am a momentum investor and I identify these themes and participate in my momentum investing journey on those themes. You know this format. Many of you are waiting for my videos on these themes, so that you can also learn these themes and participate by investing momentum. So I will explain the whole process to you.

Maybe the video will run till the end. The end will be a little long, it will remain till the end. And if you join for the first time, then join permanently. That's the best thing you can do to yourself.

So let's talk about the tourism and hospitality industry. So this is the overall tourism and hospitality industry combined. This is not just about travel.

So there are some things that you should know. The what, where, when. How this traveling has evolved. We all know that after COVID, we are living in a different world. We are living in the world with a different passion.

Where we all want to do the max, what we can do at right now. What about the future? Actually, this song was very good, Kal Ho Na Ho. So it is very relevant that you live today, you don't know about tomorrow. So the tourism sector has exploded after COVID.

And people now want to travel, want to do multiple trips. They want to take travel experiences. Road trips, weekend trips, staycations. These are the terminologies that were not heard much. It is used very commonly these days. Thanks to influencers also, who have made these terms very common.

Tier 2, Tier 3 cities. There are such events happening, such locations are developing. People are coming to Tier 2, Tier 3 cities and traveling. Because there is still an advantage of pricing there.

The big cities, the already reputed tourist places have become expensive. But in Tier 2, Tier 3 cities, there are still reasonable things. So the typical middle class of India is believing in traveling there. Income level of India is increasing. Almost we have come to 2500 plus per capita income in dollars. And typically this happens when there is a journey of 2500 to 5000.

In this, tourism emerges as a very big catalyst in GDP. So about 25% more people have started taking 3 plus trips after COVID. 75% are millionaires and Gen Z who are traveling. They are not buying things.

They are not buying premium branded stuff. They think what will happen by buying things? Let's travel. Because experience is far bigger than any other thing. And 48% of the people traveling in India are foreigners.

Who are coming to India for leisure and recreation. So this is a very interesting subject. There is a lot of growth in it.

In terms of GDP contribution, if you see, this whole sector of tourism and travel contributes almost 6% of India's GDP. Almost $200 billion plus. Actually, $200 billion is the rate of 2022. I tried to get the latest data, but I couldn't. But yes, this will be a market of roughly $500 billion in a few days. So India travel and tour industry is expected to record growth of around 7% CAGR.

7% CAGR means the growth of our GDP. GDP is roughly 6-6.5%. So this sector is growing just above that. It is a very big employment crater. 3.5% of India's employment is created by this sector. 1.7 crore jobs are in this sector.

So you can imagine, this is such an important sector for our country. And because we are a young nation, the propensity to travel is high. Because of this, you can say that there is a tailwind in this sector. And in the sector where there is a tailwind, a long-term story should be identified. Small trading-oriented opportunities should not be seen. That's why we have momentum investing plus in this.

Tourism is also a big foreign exchange earner in our country. There have been a lot of reforms. It has a lot of economic impact. Like I said, it has a good contribution in GDP. Almost 5% plus contribution. It creates a lot of employment.

People get salaries at the ground level. Economic activity is happening. New things are happening like lighthouses and cruise tourism is increasing. Visa reforms are being done by the government.

So that easy access of visa, e-visa is available for some countries in India. There are high investments. Investments are being made by the government.

There are a lot of Capex. Plus the private sector that belongs to this particular industry is also doing Capex. Whether it is a hotel or an airline. Airports are being built by the government. There is a very good tailwind in this industry. And a good amount is being committed by the government to support this tailwind.

As I said, overall India's middle-income group is growing. We are going up from $2,500 per capita income. So the middle class will grow.

That affluent will go up. There are a lot of government initiatives. Technology advances are happening. You can become a facilitator with technology. But travel is a travel. You can't replace it with technology.

I remember there was a VR of Meta which claimed that travel is not a requirement. You can travel online and see things. But practically when you are travelling, you are going in a very different mindset. So travel is something which will stay forever. It cannot be a temporary industry. Some data points are mentioned here.

There is a growing middle class affordability. The middle class population of India is expected to grow to 61%. 36% increase in disposable income over a period of 3 years. Infrastructure development is very good. 400 new regional routes are being built.

35,000 km highways are being built. 3,000 new railway tracks are being built. Digitalization is a big thing.

Online travel market can reach $28 billion by 2029. 40% of hotel booking is done online. The tech stack is integrated in India. Payment has become so easy.

UPI has become so smooth. One click and you have planned your holiday. Lockdown is a big instigator. Staycation surge 30%.

Vacation. Traveling for work. I travel a lot. If you do work and not travel, you don't see the completeness of work.

25% travel is booked for work. It has grown. It is divided into 4 major categories. Pilgrimage. Medical tourism.

Business travel. It is important in terms of value, volume and experience travel. People are going for Ayurveda, yoga, naturopathy. It is increasing.

Pilgrimage tourism. 16% CAGR growth. $59 billion market by 2028. Adventure and experience. 20% CAGR growth.

It is only 2 billion. Projected revenue will grow. Medical tourism. 13% CAGR.

7.3 million. The number of tourists visiting India by 2024. Maximum medical tourism.

Medical facilities are reasonable. Business travel. $76 billion business travel. 7.6% CAGR growth. It is a very important segment of travel.

The government wants travel to increase. It is an important segment. It contributes 5% of GDP.

Government schemes like Odan, Prasad, E-Visa, International Tourist Arrival, Swadesh Darshan. the experience of traveling with everyone is very smooth. Future of Tourism. Many new themes have emerged in India where the future of tourism is looking very good. Lighthouse tourism, which is a natural habitat, lighthouse facilities are being created in it.

In Bengal, there is a botanical garden, something is being created there too. Wellness tourism, staycations are increasing, camping sites are increasing. People are going on trekking, camping. Adventures, there is a lot of focus on adventures.

North-East and all these areas where there is bungee jumping etc. In India, there is a little fear of doing it, but I think overall quality has improved. There is a lot of focus there too. We have seen Goa and other places how they have emerged.

Cruises, the cruises facilities from the sea are also in a very good focus point today. If we talk about some numbers, the number of foreign tourists who came to India, approximately 9.5 million tourists came to India, which is growing at 48% CHR. A lot of foreigners are actually coming to our country to visit a lot of places.

It is not that no one wants to come to our country. If there are issues like Kashmir episode, then there will be some issues, but I think balancing happens. Eventually people do find that let's go because things are getting normalized. NRI is 9.38 million, which is 18% CHR. International tourist arrivals in India are 18 million, 31% CHR. The number of Indian national departure from India, that is, those who are going out of India by flight, that is approximately 28 million people who are going out of India.

We are becoming rich and the more money we make, we will try to travel abroad and experience other areas. So, in terms of foreign exchange earning, India earns approximately 2,31,000 crores in foreign exchange earnings and in US dollar terms, it is approximately 28 billion dollars. So, India earns a significant amount in terms of earnings from foreign travelers, people who are traveling from outside and spending in India.

So, the top country where there is the most travel is Bangladesh. A lot of people come from Bangladesh. Bengal also comes because medical tourism is a big thing for them.

Medical facilities in Bangladesh are not so good. So, they do come to our country. Maximum people come, some may even stay. United States, a lot of people come from there. A lot of NRIs come from the United States. United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Germany, Nepal and France.

Majorly people come here from outside. Top 10 states where foreigners generally go and visit are Maharashtra, Gujarat, Bengal. People come there too. When I saw this data, I found it very interesting that foreigners come to Bengal too.

I think there is Mayapur and there are a lot of such locations where foreigners come and they want to feel the pulse of Bengal. Bengal has been traditionally very rich in terms of cultural heritage. So, a lot of foreigners want to come to Bengal and experience the culture. Delhi, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, etc. These are the list of states where foreigners come. If we look at it geographically, the maximum people go to the western side.

Then north, east, south and finally northeast. Unfortunately, northeast because of its geographical disadvantage. So many foreign tourists cannot go there. And if we talk about domestic tourism, most people go to UP. There are so many Ayodhya and pilgrim places in UP. There are many temples in Tamil Nadu.

Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan. These are the major states where people travel from domestic to domestic. And if you see, the most domestic people travel south because of its biodiversity. Then north, west, east and people also go to the northeast but that number is less. Domestic consumption led growth is driving India. We all know that our domestic spending is increasing.

Foreigners used to come and spend. They will continue to spend. This is expected.

But in terms of value terms, domestic travel is increasing a lot. And it will increase more impressively in the coming days. The biggest contributor in domestic travel is Dharamsthan. There are many projects in Ayodhya. Make My Trip is doing a partnership. Mahindra Holiday is doing a partnership.

Marriott is developing more properties. Radiation Hotel is developing more properties. As I said, there is a lot of CAPEX in India. In this industry.

And CAPEX is there because there is growth. And growth is there because there is CAPEX. So this will continue collectively. Two major growth segments where there is a lot of growth. Tourism is actually driving from there.

That is middle and rich. If you see in today's rate, in FY21, this number is 35%. 35% of our population comes to middle and the rich background. This will be 58% in FY31. This means that as our per capita income increases. As we become rich.

We will go more in that category. And people do the most experience there. Travel. Because to spend there. Travel and education of children. These two places.

Travel. Experience of these two places. Sorry friends. The expenses of these two places. The rich people have no problem doing it.

Two major growth segments. As I said that the big segment is coming. One is MICE.

Meeting. Incentive. Conference and exhibition.

Like G20. Many such conferences will come in India. And exhibitions will come. Big exhibitions will come. Like there are big exhibitions in China.

Big exhibitions will come in India. And people will come to our country to attend those exhibitions. Things like cricket.

Cricket IPL. Cricket World Cup. Which. Such big concerts are happening. Like Coldplay concert. I also went there.

Mahakumbh Mela. ICICI World Championship. Dua Lipa concert.

So many concerts are coming. So people do want to experience. At least domestic to domestic. The experience.

It has increased a lot among people. And they are okay to travel for that purpose. In fact, I also went. Ahmedabad just for Coldplay. So I have contributed in some way. To the GDP of the country.

So which sector will be the most beneficial? Hotel. Airlines. Intercity. Cabs and buses. And travel agents. I am giving you a broad overview.

That they will benefit. It has happened. And it will continue to happen. Over a period of time.

So. If we look at it categorically. So the airline industry. So I recorded it in the video. That the airline industry. Is definitely in a boom.

And the leader there. Indigo. They are doing phenomenal work. In fact, the stock price is also increasing a lot. Because. These small regions.

Indigo's connectivity is very good in them. Air India is also picking up. Spyjet is struggling. But I guess.

If their financial situation improves. So they will also recover. But yes. Airline industry is definitely doing good.

Hotel trend is very nice. The average occupancy has also gone up. And the average daily rate has also gone up. Because of that. They have an advantage on both sides.

Food industry. Because if people travel. Then they will eat food outside.

So. There is QSR. Or the dining.

And luggage. That ultimately luggage. People will buy new luggage.

The more they travel. The luggage will be wear and tear. You will crave to buy new luggage.

So I have summarized this. I and my team have summarized. That.

If anyone travels. So these are the processes. And this is a company.

Which can be its beneficiary. So first of all. You plan. So companies are. East Trip. IRCTC.

BLS International. Because he takes responsibility for the visa. Plan.

Then you pack. There is Safari and VIP in the pack. Then you travel. Embark.

So Indigo. Is. And GMR Airport.

Which owns infrastructure. Then you relax. You go there.

Book a hotel. So Charlotte Hotels. EIH. Indian Hotel. Lemon Tree. Mahindra Holiday.

You go there. Park yourself. Relax. And then you enjoy. Means food.

See the scenery. So Devyani Food. Sapphire. Westlife. Restaurant Brands.

Jubilant Fireworks. These are the kinds of companies. Which basically.

This whole segment. Is the beneficiary. So what can you do. All these companies. You. As I have.

In trading view. I have made my watch list. I will show you. This is a watch list. Where I have.

All. These kinds of themes. Stocks. I have mentioned here. See airline.

I have also mentioned here. What can you do here. I will add it now.

One section. So that. And I will share it with you. This watch list. So that you can use it.

So I give it a name. Travel and Tour. Travel and Tour.

All right. And first of all. I add companies here. So add one by one.

I will add it later. Now I am showing you. How am I adding it. So East.

West. West. East.

So I am adding it. So East Travel Planner. East. My Trip. But you have to see one by one.

I am not saying. Go and buy it. I will tell you.

How to do it. IRCTC. In this way.

I will add the name of all the companies here. And what do you have to do. What I do here.

This is my. You know. Chart is made. In which I am. Sorry. Forgive me.

This should have been a weekly chart. This is a daily chart. I see the weekly chart. So I will add it. So I will add it.

So I will add it. So I will add it. So I will add it. So I will add it. I try to observe the stocks. The stock which is showing strength in weekly chart, in which RS is also positive, weekly RS which I see is of 21 period, RS is also positive, RSI is above 50, price action is also strong, I participate in that stock, and the stock which is showing weakness, I exit from that stock.

I have made my model very lovingly like this. Along with this, I have launched momentum score in stockedge, which is absolutely cutting edge. Let me show you an old watchlist. Suppose this is EMS watchlist, I will make similar watchlist in my stockedge. I

will go there and see the stock score. And the stock in which I see green in all three, short term, medium term and long term swing, I will participate in that. Like Dixon in this case. So I will go to Dixon here, because I have stock added in watchlist here also. I will go to Dixon and see whether its chart is favorable.

So in this, I see that it has just entered in green zone and its price action is also positive. So yes, if I want to build position in this theme, then I will build my position in Dixon. So this is my process which I have well established and I have also taught you. So please follow this process and apply your investment-themed participation journey in the right way. And at last, I would like to say that if you want to join me, if you want to join me in permanent real-time, if you want to discuss stocks, if you want to get involved with me and my team, then join Stockedge Club.

Here we are talking about stocks, we are doing all kinds of discussions, which a normal investor, trader, who should participate, who is sensible, who himself wants to do something on his own, for that we have made this platform. So you can go to stockedge.com and take the subscription of Stockedge Club, in which you will also get the subscription of Stockedge and you will also get full access to Stockedge Social.

Alright, I hope this was a useful video. I will keep on recording such videos and take care of your knowledge and obviously enhance my knowledge as well. Today, my energy was a little down because of Kashmir, you can understand that, but you stayed till the end and you were able to do learning on my energy, thank you very much for that.
