Touring the 2021 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog
surprise i am here early before um you did not hear me yesterday to announce that i was going to be coming live every day this week so tuesday i usually do not come live but i am here bright-eyed and bushy-tailed ready to share with you some super exciting news most of you already know the catalog went live today oh my gosh i'm so excited so today tuesday the first day of the catalog i simply just want to walk you through the catalog and show you some of the items good morning norma how are you this morning so let's go on and get started i don't want to spend too much time oh i'm christina reese for those of you who are just catching me um i usually go live monday wednesday and friday um at 9 30 which i still do but i'm putting in tuesday and thursday this week because of this great celebration that we're having and i just i didn't have i didn't want my monday wednesday and friday be so full of stuff so i'm kind of spreading it out but one more thing i am doing a giveaway okay so uh for those of you who are making comments sharing um all of that i'm gonna put all the names uh actually what i'm gonna do is it tells me how many comments i have so the more comments the better and i'm just gonna do a random number pick and then whoever and then i'll count down uh whoever's number that is uh hopefully it's not too big of a number like in the thousands but if it is uh i guess i'll be counting that far anyways you guys are so awesome thank you so much for showing up this morning all right now let's get started here we go so we have the new mini catalog and for those of you who do not have this catalog okay for some reason you are not on my mailing list um shoot me an email with your mailing address and i will send you a copy and if you do not have the annual catalog either you'll want that so let me know if you need this one also this annual catalog has our cardstock ink pads markers all that kind of stuff this is a holiday catalog so it's going to have all the new holiday stamps and holiday paper and all that fun stuff but this little guy is what everybody's talking about it's called sale abrasion and we usually only do it in january but this year we're doing it in august and september so how it works if you've never done a celebration before if you've never been with us celebration when you spend fifty dollars here's the little icon here free if you per with a fifty dollar purchase okay so this is an item you could pick for free not just but both catalogs okay so you can pick from both catalogs and your total has to be 50 before tax okay you then it will pop up on the computer you have earned a celebration and it'll have a little spot for you to put in the item number and your item number is right there okay and these numbers only work in the little sale-a-bration section okay so you cannot purchase this stuff and there's quite a bit i'm gonna go over a little bit more in just a minute all right so that is what we are doing one more thing i totally forgot to tell you if you do not have pen and paper with you right now you may want to go grab some because i'm going gonna be showing you some of the things that i like and that i've already purchased and you may want to write a note to remember that or i may point something out in the catalog that you didn't see before you've been flipping through it since you got it and you just i want you to be able to make notes okay all right let me check my notes to make sure i haven't forgotten anything um okay let's get started all right first page the table of contents you will see on the table of contents the word product suites all right let me lift this up so you all can see what i'm talking about okay product sweets and people are like what's a sweet okay what is a suite well for those of you who have been with stampin up you know what a suite is it's what we call a product collection okay and i want to show you the product collection that i purchased first now i'm probably going to purchase more later because this catalog goes all the way through december and so i didn't want to spend everything at once um but i do have the fall coming up so i purchased a lot of fall things but this is the one i want to share with you halloween by the way i'm an october baby so i'm sorry halloween's my favorite well christmas is my favorite but halloween is a close second all right so a product suite you would get with product suites they actually have an item number where you can purchase it all with one entry okay or if you don't want everything in the suite let's say you just want the ribbon and the paper and the stamp then over here it gives you the individual the a la carte items here now here's the stamp set let me pull it up okay cute cute cute have a fabulous halloween isn't that precious i love it now what's really really cute okay and it does not have dies what it has is a punch okay it has a punch it has the kitty cat the pumpkin and the ghost and they go with the stamps here and you could have different faces for your different things or the designer paper actually fits in here too so the ghost right here this cute little ghost holding the halloween bag he's punched out with this one and then this page has the kitty cats and the pumpkins that can be punched out also i love it when stampin up does that um because sometimes you just when you're making a bunch of cards it's easier just to punch out um what's already there so this is included in the suite okay then look at these these are like iridescent i wish you could see them better but black orange and uh the new uh fresh freesia okay so those are the colors there and the black and the freesia can be used for well all of them can be used any time of year but i was thinking if you did a um one of those alternative color christmas cards that these frisia stars would be pretty on the christmas cards right oh but this ribbon everybody's been dying for the ribbon okay be careful it's probably going to go on back order pretty fast that's the thing about today if you're not getting your orders in you need to be careful if you think it's really really awesome and you have to have it you can imagine out of million people in the united states then also you have germany france uh the netherlands australia canada everybody's gonna be wanting this stuff so be sure to get in there all right and the last but not least this part oh my gosh i have grandkids how many of you guys have grandkids i also have neighbor children look at these precious tombstone goodie boxes and they are food safe i cannot wait now eight come in a package but i was thinking you could get 16 by creating your own bottom to slide over it i mean yeah but they are just slightly different in size one fits inside the other so you have to be careful when you open the package okay they are in two different piles the top and the bottom but they're not labeled so just be wary of that they do fit together you don't have to force them at all okay so if you're forcing them that means you're trying to put two tops or two bottoms together all right that is what the cute halloween suite is all about and that is what a sweet is okay back to our catalog table of contents okay so those are what sweets we have the gingerbread peppermint suite painted christmas sweet whimsy wonder sweet the sweet stockings suite peaceful place blackberry beauty cute halloween and harvest meadow so those are the sweets now this catalog has a lot more than just sweets it has a lot of individual stamp sets it has a lot more bundles and i'll talk about bundles in a minute than just what's in these suites okay the next thing in the table of contents is your host and your join sale-a-bration um of course we already have a great host uh thing i don't know what you call it host promotion host benefits uh we call them stampin rewards and when you as either a customer and you are your own host reach to 150 you start earning stampin rewards and what those are are free dollars towards product that you can use if you gather some friends together and you all put in one big order and let's say you're the the leader so you're still going to be the host what they the bigger your order gets the more stamping rewards it goes from 150 to i want to say 300 yeah 150 to 300 or 299 gets you 10 but once you hit the 300 it jumps to 12 of your sales and hosts and rewards and at 450 you get 14 and at 600 you get 16 but at 450 and 600 you also get a 50 off item okay but not only that as a host you are eligible to get uh exclusive stamp sets at reduced prices and i cannot wait to get this little guy that cute little girl with her pumpkin and the little boy jumping in leaves seasons of fun is a 20 value but you can get it for 12 if you are a host all right now and they also have this beautiful um um amaryllis i wanted to say maria lillis i was like no no no i know the word mary's in it uh amaryllis okay um so that is our host and then the join is uh 99 and you get 125 dollars worth of product however celebration more more more more more okay when you host in sale-a-bration and you reach um 300 they're giving you this free stamp set on top of your stampin rewards and your um yeah on top of your so you don't get a half price item but you get a free stamp set so that's really cool but and you still get uh you can order the the host stamp sets and then to join all right and i'll point these out later in the catalog but there are three six there are 12 bundles that you can choose from out of the holiday catalog that you can choose for free when you join on top of the already joined special all right so that that's a brief mention and i'm going to do more about hosting and joining um on an individual video i don't want to get into too much because this video would take forever we're already at 11 minutes and we're still on the table of contents all right then you have an index uh index at a glance you have the bundles you have the catalog at a glance um and then the uh so let me come back here and show you what i'm talking about all right here we go oh oh no stop don't call me during lives um i thought i had that on do not disturb obviously it doesn't matter okay back to what i was talking about okay uh so the bundles here i'll talk about those in a minute um but here's at here and then you have this catalog at a glance has every stamp set whether it's a bundle or not every die every punch all the embossing folders all the paper and if you participated in my paper share exciting you might not have seen that all right whoo that's the index now let me look at my list of things i'm talking about okay let's open the catalog now you ready let's open the very first page if you were following me yesterday i'm going to zoom in a little bit more come on there we go if you were following me yesterday i made a card with this stamp set this is a very special stamp set it is make a difference and when you purchase this stamp set three dollars goes to heart uh health and so um i'm encouraging everyone to purchase it because in our group our christina's creative stampers we have quite a few of you with health issues heart health issues my husband was born with hypertrophic myopathy i think that's how you pronounce it anyways the thickening of the heart wall so i know all about heart disease and heart issues and being in heart surgery and all of that with my husband and so this is great three dollars for every one of these that are sold is going to heart health and this was the card i made yesterday and you can see that video on my youtube okay then i'm moving to suites we're talking about sweets um and talking about sweets as a pun s-w-e-e-t not s-u-i-t-e but sugary sweets how many of you make goodies for your neighbors and your friends like you make pumpkin loaf or sugar cookies or whatever these two stamp sets here are perfect for tags and wrapping okay so a tasty treat for someone sweet any way you slice it i'm thankful for you i love that i give pumpkin bread to some of my neighbors um at thanksgiving time so i definitely want to use that and then of course these beautiful gingerbread stamps or they could be sugar cookies with sugar with royal icing so that's really cute so i want to point that one out um for the non-traditionalist we have those of you who like pinks and mint in your christmas kind of like lucy from the peanuts we have the whimsical trees bundle here and i'll pull this up so you can see the colors better but it's the new polished pink uh blushing bride mossy meadow mint macron and misty moonlight isn't that beautiful it has beautiful ribbon oh and these cute little snowflake dies you get snowflakes where the snowflakes um 24 iridescent foil snowflakes uh those i can't wait to see those i haven't ordered them yet but i bet they're going to be great and of course the stamp set and the dyes all right that's for the non-traditionalist now let's go to page 26 the next page and here is a bundle called peaceful deer and i want to pull out the sale-a-bration item that goes with it so if you were to purchase the peaceful deer bundle okay that's 36 you would still need a few more items to get up to fifty dollars but as soon as you got up to fifty dollars you would be eligible for this entire pack of christmas paper and these deers here on this paper oh i just flipped past it where'd it go can be punched out with the deer punch well where'd it go oh pedaly d there it is so these cute little um uh plaid deer can be punched out with the the deer punch there oh so cute so i love it when they combine sale-a-bration items with items in the catalog so it makes it easy to decide what to get all right so we have that and let's go who's an animal lover here got cats and dogs let's go to that suite here we go sweet stockings and i just want you to look at how cute these this stamp set is can i pull it up there close enough for you look at those guys aren't they precious and once again here oh i forget which one it is one of these uh the stockings cut out of the paper so and then there's this beautiful blue and white ribbon the enamel dots this here number two is felt so felt to put on your card and the felt cuts out with the dies i just i love sweets sweets make it so easy to create cards and then they give you a bunch of fun examples so that's for my animal lovers what else do we have um [Music] page 33 another one where you get so it this is another bundle the penguins when you order this you could once you get up to fifty dollars you can get the playful penguins in the celebration now i'll give you a hint uh i will be doing a card kit in october using this paper and the punch set so um the paper i will be the the papers that i uh collect as a demonstrator for my sale-a-bration gifts i'm collecting these so that i'll have a whole bunch i can give free in my card class so that's just a heads up and what else do we get um penguins for those of you that like watercolor pencil okay the pencil sketches and i know some of you that's all you like to buy here they are oh my gosh these are so pretty so you stamp this i'm trying to get the cover of my there we go so you stamp this on watercolor paper then you use an aqua pen and you kind of blur out the color and it makes a beautiful watercolor card or you can just stamp it just plain and it looks like a pencil sketch but we have this um peaceful cabin bundle it comes with dies then we have this arctic bears with the ice and the bears and then also now there's one in the celebration and like i said i know there's some of you who love pencil sketches so and and it's called feels like home okay and there's that door with the bicycle and the little plant that's really pretty so for those of you who like pencil sketchings uh that look those are your stamps that are available now and let's look at our next thing oh okay this is kind of sad oh i was kind of bummed but this paper here is not orderable yet we don't make it here in the united states it's made overseas and with the shipping and production it's just not ready it will be ready and when it is ready stampin up will let us know and those of you who participated in my paper share i will just be sending it to you later okay i won't i'm gonna order our paper today and cut it up and send it to you but this paper the black beauty uh blackberry beauty we're gonna have to wait on that um but as soon as it comes in i'll be sending it to you and as soon as it comes in i will let those of you who didn't participate in the paper share know so you can get it and it's just gorgeous it has owls and birds and uh floral fauna with the blackberry bliss and the beautiful browns and golds it's a gorgeous fall paper all right um on page 47 sort 45 actually blackberry beauty is really where it starts the fall begins okay so blackberry beauty is a fall suite um the tree has leaves there it is the leaves here whoops that's in the thing so this could be a fall stamp but it's also got snowflakes so it could be a winter stamp then we have this beautiful leaf set with a couple of background stamps i love those um this pumpkin one and i purchased this one like i said i was going to show you some of these and i totally forgot that i had them here like i said i ordered mostly fall so that's probably why i haven't shown you much but i want you all to see i love pumpkins like i said i'm an october baby so i had to get this this is i cannot wait to start making cards with this um also um this fall card is my new card kit and uh it is available right now so if you have not seen my card kit let me find the cards here we go um these are the cards in the card kit and you can purchase this just go to my blog and go to classes kits and classes and you'll see this card kit and you can get this kit so we're doing that right now also there's the halloween more halloween i love this fat cat oh my gosh where's that one i had to get the fat cat because you know i have a black cat named merlin um cats are so funny about boxes aren't they oh my god okay where are we at 22 minutes oh black glimmer paper woo hoo got to have some of that okay oh oh i totally forgot on the gingerbread uh very first suite there is a treat box you can make it's a die yeah this one right here okay this die you it's in this suite you can buy it by itself i bought it by myself and uh but you can see they made this cute halloween one right here so this is a good investment uh year round if you like making treat boxes this is a really cute one okay i just want to point that out this harvest meadow suite is beautiful there's that cork paper the brush metal this beautiful what do they call it diamond weave ribbon okay oh and there's embossing folders this one is an old script no i'm sorry ty yeah time worn type so like an old paper that the writing is worn off of it and then has the beautiful daisy stamp set then on page 57 starts the multi-sentiment stamp sets now some of these have multi sentiments but these are specifically multi sentiments so much gratitude sending love merry christmas of that this one is merry christmas happy halloween grateful thankful uh thank you birthday wishes merry christmas um oh here i totally forgot about this one this is another one of those pencil sets but this one has a reflection on it is that not the coolest so instead of having to do the reflection technique they've done it for you that's great um they even have each day is an adventure so it doesn't have to be a holiday it could just be anything uh leaves thankful mary boo christmas love that thinking of you sending and i love big sentiments those are awesome okay and then this uh trio here i got this one also where did i put that one so this is really awesome these uh border die are border stamps and then you match up the die and it's got a1 a2 a b a b 2 and b 3. so it tells you how to do it awesome and i'll be doing some videos with it so you i'll help you also but really awesome and then it's got little lights and apples and ghosts and leaves pine and then a label i love labels awesome okay so that's another one i liked and i got we are now to the section of the catalog that does bundles so throughout all of this part you have seen all the stamps just one by one but they get kind of confusing because all the embellishments are in there it's mixed up with sweets so they thought they'd make it easy on you and put them all together so you can see which of these bundles when you buy them together you get 10 off so this frosted gingerbread bundle when you buy the stamp set and the die together you get 10 off love that but also it is one of the join bundles so remember what i talked to you about joining stampin up which is an awesome thing uh one of the biggest benefits i love about it is getting to order things early you know i have this big stash over here of stuff i've already bought because i was a demonstrator and i was allowed to and uh but anyway so joining you get to choose uh either this frosted gingerbread then there's um the christmas seasons bundle i've marked them all the peaceful deer remember peaceful deer you get the celebration also uh item that matches with that uh bundle now when you join you don't
