I know we're about to go LIVE, so the connection might be picking up on that right now - Anyway, anyway guys welcome Guys, welcome - this is Xavier with Luxury Homes Johannesburg. Today, once again, we are in Copperleaf Golf Estate, together with your favorite tour guide Marussia, where we are about to tour this gorgeous family home. Now, before we get started, some quick stats on the house: 4 beds, 6 baths, 4 garages, and so many features. Wait until you see the view that we have on the fairway! Guys - enjoy the tour! And as always Marussia - kick it off! Thank you very much - I just wanted to check: is this self-proclaimed favorite or is it by vote? So, I love this house the moment I saw it, I thought we're just paying for the view and the house is a bonus - wait until you see the view of this property - it's absolutely amazing and if you maybe just do a quick circle here to see how much space the owners have left for guests because this house was built to entertain and to have family and friends here with the people so we've got the 4 garages and at the same time, we have space for plenty of vehicles and we have a gorgeous entrance that leads us straight into the house and immediately welcomes us with the view of the mountains so first of all look at this impressive entrance door that we've got they've incorporated wood steel and it's a very interesting design element of steel and glass super thick glass so it's an absolutely magnificent pivot door we enter the house with a very nice double oh half one and a half volume entrance hole and straight into the living spaces so the entrance hole is very nicely arranged you can display your pot plants you can display some artwork and immediately you start seeing the home was built with the element of modern a touch of industrial but also farm style but modern farm style it's the same architect francois conradi who designed also the clubhouse in copperleaf golf estate so this house is in line with the look and feel of their state it's a modern house but it has a lot of really warm homely features in it two steps of the entrance hall and we into the formal lounge area and now you are really impressed by the ceilings here we've got double bottom ceilings exposed wooden beams and really gorgeous view so much volume and really it's such a welcoming room and immediately again the eye is drawn out into the mountains and it's the magnificent view we are on the golf course of course copper leaf being an elf designed golf course so it's a super famous and super popular among the golfers and we are in the 10th hole and i have double checked any balls will not be coming into the house yes the occasional ball might be flying above the house but we're not getting the balls into the house and we are quite elevated also from the actual course so you get the benefit of the view you get to enjoy seeing golfers playing well or not so well and at the same time you have a view worth millions and millions if this was in cape town we're talking 30 plus million okay and some of the design elements just to highlight you know we've mentioned the wood the exposed beams they also have an element of exposed brick but just attached here and there just to highlight for example the feature wall with the humongous tv and they've also allowed for a projector although the tv is the size of an empire screen but there you go you've got it you have the stunning alcove here i imagine you can either put wine racks if you want to store one or you can again display more artwork and you have those opportunities throughout the house and you have this amazing i absolutely love however this dividing wall between the lounge and the dining room which the double faced is a too faced fireplace it's a gas fireplace heating up the incline space beautifully i can feel it it's 30 degrees outside and put it inside but look at the elements also this wall again i imagine amazing art pieces being displayed here as well on the other side of this space of course we're going heading for the lining room area and of course chosen a really nice furniture here as well again soft elements of wood massive dining room table currently an eight seater easily 12 to 14 seater here this very long table and it comes immediately from your kitchen space so if you're entertaining the idea is that you are here part of your guests and part of the whole ambiance throughout the experience and what they've done is they've done a really nice coffee station right next to the former dining table so you can serve your coffee straight from here after your sit down dinner immediately next to it the open plan kitchen and the force being overplanned it is designed to be a masterpiece of its own and it is a piece of art you've got to gain wood finishes as well as high gloss end matte so we have white grays wood these are the colors of i don't know i should say the season but probably it's the colors of the century it works so amazingly well and you've got a waterfall caesar stone countertop quite a massive one i mean if we were to look at the space we have here whether it's for cookie baking or for mixing drinks and putting some tapas on to enjoy with your guests soft clothes cabinetry lots of drawers which is as we all know the best thing you can do in your kitchen you just put as many drawers as you can we've got two ovens they make built-in ovens and we've got a space for the fridge here as well and if you just look at the elements look at this strip lighting that is going above the countertop it shines on the countertop it highlights the amazing food that you're going to cook and it is supple you it's not in your face and it's spread very evenly throughout the whole space pop-up electrical plugs and just the beauty of it it's really stunning and also the way it is designed next to those additional wooden beams different lights choice above the dining room but again in line with the soft industrial feel of the space and because this is your your showroom kitchen we have us gallery as well and it is just around the corner there is a door just behind you it's a walk-in pantry so plenty of space there stunning coloring section here and it has a big window and door as well so you have a lot of natural light and a lot more cabinetry here and then they've done a separate laundry room which i love i think that's such a great idea and with the most humongous uh washer dryer i've ever seen so you can definitely wash a lot here if you the owners are taking those with access to the one double garage from here and then we've got the other double garage from the other end of the house so really very well laid out house the house is divided into two living spaces you can even call them three but we can close all these folding doors you can see this again custom-made folding doors it's aluminium frame super thick glass as well and it's a solid solid door when this door folds closed you actually have one living space and you have a completely separate living space but because of the view and having to showcase the view at all times all the living spaces are really facing out stunning custom built bar you can see the champagne is waiting for us for after the show still unopened i have to say so we're doing this very sober everything we say is real massive bar again so a lot more serving space so if you have a lot of guests which i imagine you should have when you have such a gorgeous entertainer's home plenty of cocktail mixing area here and behind the counter as well all the same caesar stone that we saw in the kitchen and they've built the interior of the barn with really nice bath ridges they fit perfectly well so this is something that can be discussed with the owners to add to the purchase and of course they've included a base in here as well to do a bit of washing of your cups additional cabinetry and um built-in pry and just to show you the attention to detail and the perfection everything is you know finished in the cupboards you've got your beautiful slick cupboards in your bra area as well where in mind it's just like an open hole where you just throw the wood so really perfectly done it has to be said that the house not only was designed by a famous architect but the owner is also an engineer with probably the highest standard one has ever seen and he has personally chosen every single brick of your exposed brickwork to make sure that it is very symmetrical and beautifully done we now into the massive patio area and you can see i'm in the middle of lounge area number two i would say this is the more informal lounge space it's right next to your bar and it has another tv here so you can play your nice soft music that i'm enjoying as i'm doing this tour and i've also set up a second lunch area here again with the folding doors behind you all of this can be closed off so you have the benefit of the different living spaces what i really love here is you've got this um concrete look ceiling and it's just a little bit of it it's not throughout the whole house so it doesn't make the house feel too industrial and right next to it you also see the wooden beams so again modern but very homely and very welcoming because it's such a big patio and because you want to capitalize on the view the study is set up right here as well so you can literally from your desk get up walk three steps and you're in the pool enjoying a refreshing cool drink and looking at the mountains and this is the view absolutely to die for again a massive exposed patio should i say an open open sky picture so imagine your sun sits here and the sun sets to the left so we are completely north-facing house the perfect the perfect exposure the perfect location the perfect view really breathtaking the garden is um the wall is quite low so you can of course look at the golf course and then you have a little door from the side there so you can step right out of your property onto the paths and into the multiple parks that are on offer in copper state you're walking on non-slip quartz flooring so the entire outdoor patio area is covered in that so number one it doesn't slip of course number two again another earthy element another texture added to the property and it's just really pretty and low maintenance we can do the garden a little bit later should we step into the bedroom and just take the view in as we go just a cute little element here just around the corner there is a cool toilet really nice and private so anyone that is enjoying the garden and the pool area will step in there and not miss water into the house and this is the master bedroom it is magnificent you have space for a lounge a gate here the master bedroom again is facing out into the mountains and into the united view that we've got same double volume ceilings the whole house is is really in line every room is you know following the style of the other rooms really stunning feature lights above yeah it's stunning and this was custom made by the owners as well absolutely gorgeous so now we're introducing a bit of glass and a little bit of rope into this as well i don't know if you want to turn around and pretend you lying in bed so you can see what i see this is what you wake up to this is really in briefing the bedrooms have air conditioning so you've got the hot and cold but being a north-facing house you can imagine the temperature here is very even and this is a single story house which i adore if you especially if you have children or if you like to entertain you want to be on single story you don't want going up and down all the time we've now walked into the ensuite and today they've got of course the bath as a centerpiece and the bath is situated very cleverly that if you are lying in the bar you take in the view of the mountain as well without of course being visible by the golfers again a lot of glasses being used here nice and big shower space again with the opportunity to see the golf course in the mountains caesarstone again your waterfall scissors flowing throughout and with wood and white cabinetry and this is quite a massive space with quite a lot of storage as well and they've used some other interesting elements they've used 3g tiling in the shower and in the toilet and the toilet is nice and private so you close the door no open plan toilets i think those should be outlawed and from there we've got actually a two-door walk-in closet so you can enter from the park or you can enter straight from the bedroom and what is really nice is they've utilized the space perfectly you can use all these walls for additional cupboard space again you have very high ceilings here and designated spaces for shoes for handbags again you can see the attention to detail that has been put even into designing the walk-in closet and we've walked through the closet now out of the second door and back into the video it's really stunning some people would ask where you put the tv you've got quite a bit more where you can put the tv as well and all the connections are here they just have decided that they would much rather look at the golf course in the mountains look at these little areas alcoves that they have designed everywhere so they have gorgeous plants growing here but i imagine also putting a very beautiful tall slim statue to display some of your art choices and then they put some excess walls with a charcoal color that works really well and again i imagine a nice mirror here or a nice piece of art as well so we're now across really the opposite corner of the master bedroom there's a guest toilet that you just see and now we're walking into one of the kids bedrooms look at the size of this bedroom this massive space in our for queen size bed in the seating area plenty of cabinet space in the same awesome style this is actually matte and again wood finishes in white so it's nice especially being for children nice and soft and this has a full bathroom beautiful mirror i really like their choice of furniture and finishes and you see you've got the spotlights very cleverly done as well if you're putting makeup on it highlights your face beautifully another aircon here as well so with the theme of everything being symmetrical and everything just feeling flowy the all the four bedrooms are in the four opposite corners of the house so it gives perfect privacy to the occupants of the house so no one will feel like they will over each other and now we're heading back towards the kitchen and we're going towards the next opposite so we can see the other two babies off to the bedrooms super polite again those two bedrooms have their own little sitting area you can even put another sliding space here you can see a massive chest of trolls right at the entrance but it can be a study look as well look at this massive bedroom this is a king-size bed with a big headboard this bedroom also has its own doors leading out into the garden so if it is to be used for another family member they have access in and out and this bedroom is the only one that is ensuite just with a shower the others are full on sweets and another unique design every bathroom has just some different element of interest in terms of the choice of styling the colors and every bedroom is also very unique this one has very soft subtle grey tones and the last one that we're going to see is my favorite just to point out lots of cupboards everywhere you go they've added cupboards and again very subtle so they're not in your place this is now a bedroom any child would i would hope would be super grateful for because just the view is enough although mind you you probably won't do any homework you'll just be looking at the golfers and the mountains but that can help learn to break off ensuite bar from here as well and again lots of cupboard space and those gorgeous colors of the walls of course paint can be painted over but i just love what they've done here it's a very playful theme it's not too girly it's not it's not too kiddy but it's just a fun way to make it a unique bedroom and with the display shelving here so the child can make it also their own it's really cute i also want to point out with your double volume ceilings the lights here are pointing up so you've got the ambient light at night without it being too harsh on the bed this bedroom has its own patio and it is undercover and this is the same as the one across which was the master bedroom so back to the what we were saying it is very symmetrical this beautifully designed and when we go down now to the garden you will see the house also from the site that most people will see it from because they will either be in the parks um taking a walk and then coming through the little gate on the side attention to detail and quality glass super thick as well and you just you don't even see it it is just done so beautifully of course you protect children uh from the pool and the pool you see on the other side is an infinity pool and imagine yourself sitting in the water pulling off sipping a cool drink and looking out into your 10 million round view if the house is nine and a half you're pretty much getting a bonus plenty of garden space absolutely massive you can as you can see they put plenty of kids play things here toys manicured garden perfectly aligned super low maintenance i like the fact that there's you so much speculum here you know you can apparently eat this i still haven't tried putting it in a salad are you looking out onto the golf course do you notice the little gate that takes you straight into the golf course and that's it imagine yourself enjoying sunsets copperleaf of course has a clubhouse it has its own private school we are in the middle between johannesburg and pretoria so very centrally located but you're not in the busy hustle and bustle of the city you're minutes away from shopping centers from offices from various schools and amenities but at the same time it just feels like you are away on holiday somewhere in a country stunning perugia forgot to mention very important this house is pretty much off-grid uh the number of solar power and the solar storage is uh sufficient that you're literally just paying the basic electricity connection fee so it costs you like 200 bucks a month that's it it's very low cost very very nice marusha thank you so much this is a stunning home like we said four beds six baht four garages in copper leaf gulf estate on the market asking price
