Touring 3 Luxury Condos in Central Bangkok - What Can You Rent in Sathorn for $1500?
welcome to Bangkok Thailand and welcome to my condo hunting Series where I show you three different condos each and every week today I'm in the Sathorn neighborhood and this is one of my favorite areas in Bangkok we're going to check out a mix of older and newer condos in this area with both long and short-term lease options let's get started and go check out the first condo and if you like any of the condos you can check out amazing properties the link is in the description [Music] [Applause] [Music] this is the Address Sathorn it's in a great location very walkable area nice clear sidewalks and within about 5 minutes of BTS St Louis let's go check out the facilities and then we'll see the unit [Music] got a beautiful wrap-around pool small area of seating here but got some stunning views up here Sathorn's got some of the most eclectic and iconic buildings in Bangkok and you got views of them all definitely come in and take in Bangkok from up here got our steam room in sauna but they're doing some work on it over there so we're not going to bother with them nice little shallow pool in [Music] here this is a nice cardio space very large lots of different treadmills bikes different equipment let's see if we can find the weights room because I'm sure it's here too [Music] [Music] this is a two-bedroom two bathroom if you're at the Address Sathorn and you walk into a nice open Airy space let's take a little tour and then we'll discuss the price and do all of our checks [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] one [Music] a [Music] [Music] [Music] let's do our wall checks I do wall checks in every condo nothing worse than signing a one-year lease and realizing you can't sleep that is a fantastic wall that's the type of dull thud that I love to hear these are thick walls that normally means you have thick ceilings thick floors as well so you shouldn't have any noise from Neighbors large king-size bed let's do our comfort check and that is a comfortable bed as I expected we go into our secondary bedroom now this one only has a single bed and it could easily fit a double bed but instead they put these little tables next to it let's do a comfort check of our single bed here if I can fit on it it is quite comfortable I could probably sleep here too but I might roll off total price for our two-bedroom two-b unit here at the Address Sathorn 52,000 Thai Baht let me know what you think in the comments and let's go check out our next condo [Music] Sathorn's one of my favorite neighborhoods in the city it's got the perfect mix of older idyllic quaint buildings and newer modern beautiful Bangkok they're both on display in this area plus the walkability you can walk around with ease in this [Music] [Music] area we're taking a little walk to our next condo it's about 15 minutes a beautiful day here these are the famous arches of Chongnonsi here in Sathorn and our next condo quite close to Chongnonsi BTS station another great location here in Sathorn [Music] [Music] we've arrived at our second condo this is the met and it's in a great walkable area as well fantastic location about 7 minutes away from BTS Chongnonsi this building has one very unique feature tennis courts it's one of those intangible factors that if you're a big tennis player having Courts at your building invaluable let me know if any of you guys play tennis and maybe we can get a game going got a playground right next door so the kids can come and play got a little basketball court over here [Music] [Music] [Music] n [Music] [Music] [Music] this is an extremely large pool a lap pool good for actual swimming great Fitness and gym area got tennis courts got a games room you can just wander around it's a little maze where you find all kinds of different places and stuff to do and here we're at our high floor this is the 28th floor common space and got another little maze to wander around lots of seating areas up here lots of seating all over the building looks like we've got some sort of barbecue area over here kick back relax check out the smoggy views of Bangkok got a little bit of smog today so not the best views right now [Music] [Music] this is a two-bedroom two bathroom 94 square meter unit here at the Met and it's very large when you walk in with extremely high ceilings and an industrial style look let's take a little tour and then we'll talk price and do all our checks [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] n [Music] [Music] got a beautiful king-size bed in here let's do our comfort check that's a comfortable bed could definitely go to sleep right now but we got to check our second bedroom and this is a little bit of a strange one because we've got two twin beds instead of one large bed let's do our comfort check of one of these twin beds it's relatively comfortable nothing too fancy this is a very large space got a whole second area over here that could fit yet another bed lots of built-in furniture here built-in storage very typical of older condos probably need to like the wood because you do have a lot of wood in here let's do our wall checks in here that is a very very thick wall have a very industrial design High ceilings you shouldn't deal with noise in here and one thing that I really like about this condo is the kitchen you've got a full oven plenty of counter space and a four-burner stove this is an excellent cooking kitchen for for anybody that likes to cook and another feature that I really like is the balcony in the primary bedroom this is a very large walkable balcony you could definitely have a seating area out here you even have an old tree for decoration that's a real tree now one thing that stands out is if you look below that looks like a construction site and I was told that there was an attempt to construct a building here the Met filed a complaint and the construction was halted so ostensibly there will be no construction there but that's definitely something you could ask about because you wouldn't necessarily want a construction site right outside your bedroom door total price for our two bedroom two bathroom 94 square meter industrial style unit here at the Met 55,000 Thai Baht let me know what you think and let's go check out our next condo [Music] we're here at our last condo and it's a little bit of a special building because they offer short-term and long-term lease options you can rent for as little as 1 month 3 months or sign on for a full one-year lease and this is all inclusive it includes electricity water cleaning three times a week bedding lining changes let's check out the facilities and then we'll go see the unit [Music] [Music] [Laughter] [Music] he [Music] this is a fantastic pool it's actually two different pools this one's larger but you got a lap pool behind me beautiful common areas here and not very busy all right this is a large space and I have it privately right now this building is brand new was just built in 2023 I could definitely go for a swim right now it is very hot [Music] we've got here the aqua therapy got the steam room right next to it sauna behind it and the showers perfect if you've gone on a night out you want a little bit of recovery we've got got a theater and karaoke room you got to reserve it so we couldn't get in right now [Music] we've got the rooftop Lounge here Garden space and some binoculars up here we can watch the whole city can see they point out each window here couldn't see anybody there but I'm sure if I spent enough time here I could start to watch people got a lot of common area spaces here and I've seen a grand total of two people so you know not bad this is the 53rd floor stunning views you overlook the entire city you can pick the direction you want to look in you got fantastic views on each side building right in front of me here you can see the helipad you could watch those helicopters Cruise in you can take a walk around the entire building here and get views of each different side of the city unfortunately there's a little bit of pollution today so we don't get the best views but on a clear day I think you'd have some absolutely stunning views this is a 45 meter one bedroom one bathroom here at Supalai Icon Sathorn and it's nice open and Airy when you walk in beautiful design let's take a little tour and then we'll cover the price and all the details [Music] [Music] [Music] when you walk in here the high ceilings really stand out and the nice bright Decor let's do our customary bed check this is a large Kings size bed and that is a very comfortable bed I expected a very comfortable bed on this one let's do our customary wall check and the wall is pretty strong not quite as dull of thought as I get on some total price for one bedroom one bathroom 45 square meter unit here at Supalai Icon Sathorn 70,000 Thai Baht per month but it does come with short-term lease options 1 month 3 month 6 months one year and it comes with a maid that visits three times a week cleans changes the linen twice a week all electricity and water included let me know what you think in the comment section have a great day
