The China The Media Never Shows! Our First Day in SHENZHEN, GUANGDONG
oh guys we're getting attacked by a crazy drone and here's some Chinese School boys driving down stairs oh guys can you see this the Drone is coming down and that's the delivery system here in China I think this is the operating base of the Drone Squad because there actually there some points here in the city where you can order with these drones and you get like stuff like Starbucks and all that but for me it's really here the Skyland you see this one here one two made it guys for drones but for me it's a Skyline to be honest okay nice drones cool but guys look at the skyline this is the real impressive thing here for me wow just wow after Beijing quite a a different look to be honest and here it comes holy moly really precise hey look at like a was and actually not so loud I thought it's way louder how many are there in the sky this is a real thing here guys already are we living in the future what the first impression of this city guys it's so different than Beijing and Shanghai way more futuristic and you see them everywhere flying here and here and here just another one goes off quite interesting I really have to say they bu building a lot of skyscrapers and look at this crazy guys oh my God oh my God downhill guys man downhill guys but guys let's see how shenzen really is and if it's like the most developed and most futuristic city in China because actually in our area when we arrived at our hotel super local like this is nice to see and super Advanced and super futuristic but in our area it's more local and I feel there to be honest I feel like more authentic there there's nice restaurants people are more like I don't know engaging engaging and here's more like I think this a business area we heard that shenen is like the tech Hub of China so like almost all the technological products get exported from China went through shenzen so we also I heard there's like a big electronic market and all that stuff so definitely lately we want to check out as much as possible of the city but for today I think we want to get some nice views in see what the sides of the city have to offer and get some nice shenen food guys okay guys we're now heading to our area and show where we live here in shenzen I think it's called fumin so let's take the metro here in shenzen oh yeah guys what is this area it looks pretty cool guys we now on a hunt for some food here in shenen our first food what we're going to eat here we got some recommendations from our hotel guy um about what we should eat what we should try he gave us a restaurant which is famous for Desert deserts he say and I swear these scooters Maniacs I swear I hate them they drive here so crazy all across the pathway where the people walk come on guys anyways guys let's find this restaurant I'm quite hungry I really do have to say the restaurants look look so different than in Shanghai and Beijing also the food looks so different so I'm really hyped to try um also people look different I have to say the people here in this in South China look really different than in Shanghai so Noah are you hungry I'm hungry guys and I think it's actually a desert place we going to but I heard they also have normal food so let's see about that he said it's really good and they have some weird stuff we never saw before so let's see what this restaurant offers man these crazy scooters you have to really be careful that's the restaurant guys so let's enter and see what we can find they have these sand watches hourglasses our glasses what is this guys yeah but the interior looks really nice I have to say I like these wooden Interiors which the Chinese often do and there's handmade Chinese desert and as you know guys we are not shy we here to try all the foods we never tried in our life that's why we're here so guys let's get this oh yeah guys that looks delicious guys we got our old cucumber salad got some Jasmine lemon tea oh my God yeah the screaming so lot really really good I swear this one it's my favorite tea so far I've got some crispy pork and I think also some pork skin and we got them cheesy pop balls winners interesting these are Hong Kong style noodles so I wanted to try them because Hong Kong is actually not far from shenen so we also going to go to Hong Kong so definitely leave also some food recommendations for that but let's try I would say let's go in M winner with mayonnaise but why are they call Cheesy pop balls I don't know that one is so good the cucumber salad oh but spicy spicier than in Shanghai but this is very small portion but looks quite interesting Hong Kong sty noodles I heard that Hong Kong has also really good food to offer so let's give this a go and also let us know what we should try here in shenen wow I like these noodles really good oh yeah this this they are quite spicy but a very interesting spice I never tasted this before but that's why we're here guys oh yeah but I think this is actually more like like a snack what we got here again so we definitely also want to try something big big portion I also saw they eat goose here I think we saw some Goose restaurants and a pigeon restaurant actually a whole blown pigeon restaurant so maybe we're going to go for that so also definitely leave us your top foods from shenzen in the comments but I swear the crispy pork amazing guys really really good damn guys woo that was really good I swear that one turned out to be a little bit more spicy than I thought but I like it guys I think this is it it has The Hourglass on top I asked her that I want The Hourglass dish I don't know what's inside I think the translation was Ginger milk tea something like that so let's see about that but it looks really really funny okay W okay so I think now we should wait she poured like hot milk on top it's hand poured Ginger milk so I think there was Ginger at the bottom here and then she poured milk on top that's fancy yeah I swear we don't have something like this in Germany but it's so nice to see like like so so old school and I ordered some coconut milk to the side of it oh yeah coconut Sago mine is ready Noah's time is still running so he have to wait and I'm going to try this wow how is it that's amazing T I swear so so strong coconut taste what are these balls jelly balls yeah small jelly balls looks like bubble tee this is perfect after some spicy dish I swear okay I think the time has come guys the time has come the Hour Glass is on zero nothing more coming so let's see this big reveal looks ultra white it really thick I thought it was like really yeah it got it got jelly so I think they they run the time down so it gets hard okay let's try this this reminds me of the one Hill brought us yeah it really smells like ginger so let's give it a try wow it's really jelly consistency but it tastes like pure Ginger Ginger with milk I never had this combination we always drink ginger lemon tea in Germany do you like it mhm M super good texture really really creamy quite nice guys quite nice but what is this jelly I really don't know what is what is this made of but mine has the Ginger Spice it's a little bit spicy like ginger so you really feel it in the afterburn but it's unique taste I never have tasted anything like this before Ginger with milk I yeah you guys have pretty different desserts that's really nice to try we never tried something like this so let's finish up our Chinese desert I think it was around 121 something about that quite good price especially for Signature this this year is the area where we live um it's around fumin station I think it's called here and there's this nice little Plaza so I think we're going to have to digest for a little bit and in the evening we go out to see a little bit of the skyline here in shenen yeah the towers here look crazy easy here's like a little local market so it seems like and it smells a lot like fish and I think there is a lot of fish also but why do they have these little turbulence there's also a lot of meat in the section but smells a little bit too much and a lot of fresh vegetables which look actually quite nice lot of meat pig feet and you really see that they use every part of the animal here you can get all the feeds you can get the intestines and you get really used to it if you're a little bit here in China you really eat more and more of what they eat here like pig ears also chicken feet so we're going to go for that definitely also here that's a really good work you see those people everywhere that's why the streets are so clean really they're cleaning day night doesn't matter so you see that a lot in this city this and it's really positive and every corner here is really good maintained I really have to say that's a big plus for me holy moly the dream of China tank is written here what a car I really like this car what is this brand think this is a EV vehicle or you think this is W that looks so cool that look that looks like a proper military car some of you guys said don't go to shenen right now because it's too hot and we booked already in advance guys so we unfortunately couldn't change this but we now feel it guys yesterday was 35° all day long and the rain also we had a big rain for 1 hour oh my God that was a biggest rainfall I ever saw in my life oh yeah here you got the Volkswagen there we got the Mercedes there we got another Mercedes you guys like German cars and I like to see that awesome but you also have nice cars I have to say that we see here cars we never saw them before that one looks quite cool really impressive but there's the star man we're now here in fumin Metro and now we're heading to the Civic Center here we want to see a light show it's very famous and it looks amazing so let's see what awaits us we have no clue so let's see how the light show in the most futuristic city in China looks like wow guys I don't know what the purpose of this building is but it's just stunning at night we arrived here at this night Plaza yeah it's a civic center it's like in the middle of the fuan area here and it looks really nice and there's supposed to be a light show here but so far we don't see much of a light show but I think let's just walk here that looks awesome over there again little aunties dancing I love to see that that's so happy and so peaceful wow know you feel it it's a Groove guys I swe these aunties they are addicting you see them everywhere it's always the retired people it's like they enter a second life really nice right under this place here I we're just doing that it's in 10 minutes maybe so let's see the light show guys is this the light show the LED palm trees or what i s the Chinese people love their LED but I think there's other light show so that's find that follow the neon lights and not the these ones because these are the cops see guys a lot of people here sitting here and looking in this direction so maybe that's where the there's all the skyscrapers are included and the audio system is also so great you hear it so loud it's like really you in a cinema like ambient voices like really cool but I think planes are not allowed to fly over the city during the because this is highy distracting I mean look at this look at this that's absolutely stunning okay I think this is it guys this is every day I would not like to live here to be honest inside inside one of these buildings imagine you live in one of these buildings crazy guys what luck we were here at the perfect time we didn't know when it was but we're here at 2010 and it was at 20130 so really really nice coincidence and now everything is back to normal wow crazy oh okay guys we're now leaving with all the other peoples and you could see it in the people's faces even though if you're local that was just stunning by far the most epic show I've ever saw so shout outs to ch and especially shenen what an amazing show show so no I think now it's time for dinner for something to eat guys again we've been on way for quite some time today what a first day huh yeah what an amazing day and now end up with some nice shens and food let's see what we can find there's a lot of little stands here but we want something real today guys some proper Chinese food something big wow okay guys we landed on some sort of food street food court or whatever this is here incredible a whole different area exactly where we've been and there's a cat next to the food tree interesting but I think we're going to find here some nice nice street food and here's our enemy the stinky tofu which we will never eat again the big time enemy wow they have everything here now Doran chicken you're going to find here something yes I'm hungry guys oh yeah damn damn Dam got the sushi all kinds of sticks all kinds of whatever this is oh my God here we got some interesting looking dumplings no you want some yes get some dings I think this is in rice pepper okay how was it called let's get some so let's get some with vinegar vinegar sauce guys I love this sauce uh what's this them we got some f dumpling I think it's called in 21 guys so let's see how this taste this looks very different 21 this looks very different to the dumplings we had in Beijing and Shanghai these are very squishy and they look a little bit gooey so let's see how they taste but why it's colorful everything here some chili and some garlic on top let's try this guys bye-bye thank you okay and they're even driving here with their E Scooters that's so stupid but they have now something some real different food looks quite quite different to the Food Markets we saw in Beijing and Shanghai can see some hearts this a penis some chicken feet this is a penis penis now this is more of the local food that we expected and wow nice Sea Food nice Seafood that's great I never saw snail like this but these are sea snails I think this is really wiggly jiggly guys I think it's like the sweet potato star so let's give it a go what is this well crey W not good consistency the other D were way better I also wouldn't pick them I swear they look not so nice so w wiggly jiggly and gluey I don't like it they love to do this with starch here but not for me more like crispy is better when it comes to dumplings but that's why we try it guys but I think we need to look for restaurant look at this oh yeah guys prop for dinner guys after the street food we didn't find so much to be honest and we had big craving for this one we walked by this two times already but guys let's get this this is a pork I think I think it's a mixture between two pieces of pork some Nice Rice some egg guys really simple really good balanced dish for the evening we had a long day and really hot day so now we're going to dig in and enjoy this F I think it's actually one is stuck and the other one I can't identify I think it's Pok but this one is really sweet and they always serve like this cabbage you get it to almost every meal but one thing why is there the what is it called the outside of the ex still on the hard outside is still the shell of the egg is still on the egg so this is quite weird we normally always get a fully peeled egg in Germany so you can maybe explain us this in the comments nevertheless guys we're going to eat this up and I think this will do it for today's video was a long but what an amazing day especially the light show in the evening was crazy the dessert was really funny in the midday so be hyp for more of these out of shen s guys tomorrow we're going to show you
