between krabi and phuket surrounded by these mountains as you can see just the rock formations everywhere it's been such a pleasure stay stay here at this hotel actually this is my hotel PR home just to show you right my room literally has a view an amazing view I mean this hotel only cost me about like $25 per night but look at the view I got of this amazing rock formation all day from when the sun was up till the sun was down absolutely beautiful guys but anyway I showed this city I walked through this city a little bit in my last video so if you guys want to see panga you can see it in my last video but today we're doing something a little bit special today we're actually going to be going to a place which you'll see it's a surprise if you read the title you probably already know but some of you may not know have never heard of this place in Thailand I actually have to go take a boat to get there so I have to go to the pier which I'll be going to shortly but first things first guys it's morning I just woke up not too long ago and I need a coffee so we're going to stop for a coffee somewhere over here if I can find a coffee shop now this city of FNA I wouldn't even call it a city really this town is very small so there's not much here oh yeah so there's this mid here and down below it there's a lady making coffee and tea so let's go see if we can go there I don't know if this one is making tea or coffee but let's see I don't think she's making coffee coffee there's not many coffee places here you just kind of got to take what you get you know let's see if this lady Asam alikum C uh me coffee coffe coffe uh yeah this place right hereen kenen oh so she has some like instant coffee so yeah you're not going to get like you know specialty coffee here Specialty Foods but you know you get all of these local businesses there's a nice little Muslim Community here as you can see there's a mjid right here there's a mjid on that side but as as always in Thailand people coexist so you have people from everywhere and then I see some foreigners here too but anyhoo guys I'm going to get a coffee and then I got to head to the pier and then from there it should be a fun day look at that pouring it over the ice amazing 25 baht less than a dollar that's the good thing about these local coffees they're always so cute here in Tyler all right guys here's the coffee from H justad just sine made my coffee this morning amazing uh aloy very good for only 25 baht but yeah guys now I got to figure out how do I get to the pier I don't know if there's grab bike here but we'll figure it out and I'll so unfortunately grab is not available in this area so now I got to figure out how do I get to the peer so since the ride share is not available in the city these people sitting in front of this 7 apparently can take you where you need to go so let's see how this works how bu uh tadan tadan tadan 100 100 yeah Okay C 100 let's go mayow okay okay all right guys we're going to are going to see what C is here we go so basically they have a few peers now if you want to just take your own kind of Cruiser and not be stuck on a tour cuz most people who come here come for this thing called the James Bond Island where uh there was a very old James Bond in the 70s there was a James Bond movie shot H here known as The Man with the Golden Gun and there's a famous rock that was like on the cover of the movie so most people most tourists who come here they're going to visit that but as you know on Myer travels we always do something a little bit different and you can see they have these little um wooden long boats long tails I think they call them and you can take one to go to kop you can see these people are also going but we have to wait H okay go Koh Panyee Island go can I go I don't know hello brother can I this one full okay I don't know what's happening here hello brother let's go okay uh let's go p I've been to phuket before yeah yeah now I go can I one just we're going the right way carry Furniture other things should be interesting all right and we're off cost 100 B to take this boat to as opposed to if you took a private boat it would take like 1,000 or 1,500 bot so and you got to have to kind of figure it out on your own but you'll save a lot of money and you don't have to do the whole tour thing it's up to you if you want to do the whole tour you can pay for foree all right guys we are pulling up to the pier now here in Koh Panyee the boat get out of here all right interesting getting in and out of these little boats they're so low but here we are guys we have arrived to the beautiful small quaint island of oh yes yes I have to pay you sorry sorry sorry 100 100 very very thank you very much cup all right guys so welcome to cop so the story of this island basically back in about 200 years ago there was three fishermen from the island of java Japanese fisherman before it was Indonesia before it was Thailand before when these were just like and kingdoms uh these three fishermen basically decided you know what let's go find some new lands some new places where we can get some fish and uh they discovered this area obviously at that time uh the foreigners were not allowed to own land in Thailand so what they did was you know what let's just settle here they used to live on boats and fish out of their boats and sleep on their boats and eventually they decided to build house on stilts like you see a lot of these structures are built on stilts so this is technically a water Village so basically three of them started and now you know 200 years later you have about 15500 residents that live here and all of them are Muslim so it's basically a Muslim Island welcome to kopam alaykum and you can see it's become quite a tourist destination cuz as I mentioned before part of the uh travel part of the people traveling here alayum how are you brother you have coffee H coffee okay it's menu menu okay so we can get some there's foreigners from other people they come here to visit every day mallah very good inshallah for do I will go to the to the Masjid I want to visit the type of building about like uh uh Quran 40 million million they share like money from Arabian people like like and local people of course that's that's in our in our umah as a Muslim if we go to Muslim Community we have to help you know if we have the money we have to help anytime anytime I visit like I travel many different mid around the world I try to give something even if it's little bit because Allah is watching you know yeah that's it it's risk you know we just tell you about like because we have a lot of thing we got not too much from the government to pay us we have like uh by myself yes yes and and uh you have the people who who come visit they can also if you come to you can come visit support the economy but also help as well because uh these places like these smaller smaller Islands they don't get a lot of support from the government so they rely on the tourism yeah is is the is the main economy of this island still fishing that's normally like before but right now this 30 uh% half but for another like 60% like tourism ah okay okay so the main economy is the tourism economy from like fishing and tourism tourism but when the island start it was only fishing right fishing yeah I read on the history maybe like from java few people from Java Indonesia the original uh how much 90 90 B goip we immigrate from there you immigr like for so your family is is originally like from java Java muslim okay don't really have like a proper uh sanitation system being that it's on the water they do a great job of maintaining uh cleanliness throughout the island like yeah you'll see a little bit of garbage trickle here and there but for the most part it's very clean even the water around like they've kept the garbage somehow the situation is uh they've maintained it very well for living on the water it's amazing to see like I said people come together here to cuz they really take pride in their Community you know it's a beautiful thing yo yo yo he what's up bro you want to say something to K so should be good to try this out try this try the prawn so much flavor wow they use the thin noodles for this one you can see it's amazing hot amazing amazing so delicious so delicious it tastes like a real homecooked meal made with love here in kop thank youum all right guys so I think uh my time is done here been here for a few hours pretty much have seen everything that there is to see um and I got a nice tour from the mayor or one of the guys in politics he was able to really give me the true story of this place and what a wonderful place it is man um aside from the fact that obviously a lot of it is based around tourism but if you really get inside and talk to the people and kind of just explore for really you really get to see the true culture of this place and the community and uh the resilience of living on a water which is amazing but for now I'm going to head back to the pier and take a boat back to panga where I started this video but what a pleasure it's
