Spend a summer day in Nami island | Day trip from Seoul | Petite France, Garden of Morning Calm
Hi everyone, we’re headed on a little day trip today we’ll be going to Nami island which is about 1.5 hours from Seoul I’ve been wanting to go to Nami island for agers so I’m excited to finally visit today and let’s go! I usually plan all my trips myself but it was actually so nice to have everything planned out for me I can just relax and fully enjoy the trip and once you arrive you’re gently woken up with this song Alpaca world is located in the forests of Hongcheon and is about a hour away from Nami island we just arrived in time for the feeding session at 10:10 and they give you some alpaca food ready to feed them and here they come you have to feed them a little bit at a time they were actually really gentle and soon it was time for them to go we still had a bit of free time to explore there are many areas of the park with different animals first visiting the alpaca ranch baby alpacas are sooo cute they were super friendly It’s such a relaxing place and all the summer flowers are out time to head back there is of course a alpaca themed gift store cute souvenir for today the tour guide was so sweet and prepared some stickers for us the sky is so clear today we’re going to have some lunch before heading to Nami island this place is well known for it’s spicy chicken every second store was selling it looks so good there are also other food options if you can’t handle spicy food the restaurants were also right in front of the dock to go to Nami island it’s about a 10-15mins ferry to the island perfect day for a boat ride and off we go if you want you can also zip line to the island but I prefer the boat this si the famous tree lane in Nami island I think it’s most popular during autumn but I actually love the fresh summer landscape it honestly seems beautiful in all seasons I was worried it would be too crowded but the further you walk the less people there were who remembers this kdrama? this is the famous location from the drama ‘Winter sonata’ I remember it was a big craze when I was a kid you can see this motif everywhere on the island these cooling sprays are a lifesaver in the summer Nami is such a great place to enjoy a bit of nature in Korea there is so many different areas to explore time to check out some of the craft stores these salt and pepper shakers are so cute loved these ceramic wind chimes too time to head back it was getting so hot need to stay hydrated actually the best feeling to return to a air conditioned bus this is a cultural village for Italy and France you can think of it kind of like a mini theme park both villages are themed around story books the Italian village is based on Pinocchio of course it’s not real Italy but we can imagine it is for now walking around did make me really want to visit Italy you can look around the houses, shops and museums here let’s have a look at one of the houses some of the Pinocchio were a bit creepy you can get a great view of the island from here as well now let’s go to France Petite France is themed on the Little prince which is one of my favourite novels I think the place is worth a visit if you’re a fan of the books you can find some of the characters I had a bit of time left so I checked out the orgel museum they had a pretty big collection they also have performances every hour now we’re headed to the final stop of today it’s definitely a long day If you’re visiting Nami island, I highly recommend visiting this garden I think it’s one of the most beautiful gardens I’ve seen just in time for hydrangea season too the garden was actually huge with a lot of different areas to check out it had a little cottage area and lastly visiting the Korean garden they even had a full hanok house here time to head back home I hope you enjoyed this tour of Nami island I’m going to sleep the rest of the way home see you in the next video :)
