[Music] Hey friends, good morning! Welcome back to the channel it's your Berry here, and our adventure continues. Watching a sunrise is always magical, but experiencing it from a unique angle or a new place makes it even more exciting! Usually, we capture sunrises for Instagram stories or WhatsApp statuses, but today, let’s do something different. Let’s witness one of the most breathtaking sunrises at a spectacular location. We’re starting our day early,
with a fresh mindset, ready to experience the beauty of nature from Skandagiri Hills. Skandagiri is located approximately 70 km from Bengaluru and to truly appreciate its charm we opted for the 4:00 AM trek slot. Since it's a 4:00 a.m. trek , if you're coming from Bangalore you need to live early by 2 AM: so that you'll be reaching there on time.. This is Papagni math is located at Kalavara village so if you're coming on your own vehicle so you need to park your vehicles here so the parking would be safe so no need to worry so you can park your vehicles here and start from Papagni math to the kalavaralli forest checkpoint where they will verify your online bookings so to be on the safer side you can take the snapshot of the tickets or the email which you received. This is the Eco tourism kalavaralli Forest check point where they are verifying
all the online bookings the snapshots of the mail and id proofs so once the check is done and by 4:10 or 4:15 AM They'll start the trek from here ,so do visit early so that you can clear all your checkpoints and be ready to start your trek. The Skandagiri trek is managed by the Karnataka Tourism Department. You need to book your slot in advance on their EcoTourism website. I’ve provided the link in the description below. Slots tend to fill quickly, especially on weekends, so book at least 4-5 days ahead. only 150 to 180 peoples are allowed each day, with two trek slots: one at 4:00 AM and another at 8:00 AM. If you want to enjoy the mesmerizing sunrise, I highly recommend the 4:00 AM slot. Yes, it’s early, but trust me, by the end
of this video, you’ll see why it’s totally worth it! the Skandagiri night trek is one of the best beginner friendly trekks near bangaluru it's also one of the few tricks you can legally do at night .. Yes, we’re heading to Skandagiri, also known as Kalavara Betta, for a sunrise trek that promises breathtaking views. If you look online, you’ll find tour companies charging around ₹1,500 to ₹1,750 for this trek. But don’t worry—doing it yourself can cost as little as ₹250 to ₹500 [Music] Breathing...
few more I think another 1 kilometer we come all the way 4 km from the parking and these are the last two last two in the batch .... Start your trek well-prepared. Carry a torch (not just your mobile flashlight), because sometimes the charging might get over .. so warm clothing, water, and some snacks like
energy bars or biscuits. Also, please don’t litter—keep the wrappers in your bag and dispose of them properly later.. so there's no any shops as well so only at the checkpoint there'll be some few shops but at the early morning they'll not be opened so do carry some water the truck itself is about 8 km round trip and it takes 4 to 5 hours to complete and from the base if you consider it's almost like 5 km one way this provides a unique experience to trek through serene darkness and reach the summit just in time for sunrise. If you're lucky, you might even catch the magical sight of a cloud bed rolling over the hills. Keep in mind, cloud beds are most likely during the monsoon and cooler months (June to September), but they can be unpredictable. [Music] [Music] As we climb, the view gets better. Almost at the top, you’ll get to
see the glimpse of Bangalore’s shimmering city lights. By 6:30 a.m., we reached the summit perfect timing for the sunrise. Watching the sun rise over the hills is an unforgettable experience. The vibrant colors of the sky and the panoramic views are truly magical. The day when we went on a trek there was a bit cloudy so Sunrise was very quick so we couldn't enjoy much of the Sunrise but during the Summers you get to see the Golden Light over the clouds but the wheather and the experience was amazing guys [Music] [Music] come on guys come on come come mushroom..
[Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] After a steep climb, we’ve made it to the peak just in time for sunrise. The view is absolutely magical! The city lights below, the misty surroundings, and the anticipation of the first rays of sunlight make this moment unforgettable. As the sun rises, it feels like a new world is unfolding before our eyes. This isn’t just
the sunrise—it’s a reset for the soul. Every effort to reach here is worth it. Finally we reached the Peak at the sunrise point around 6:30 a.m. since we visited during the monsoon seasons the sunrise was very quick like around Max 5 minutes we could enjoy the sunrise after that it was completely covered by the clouds [Music] everyone Hi ....
[Music] [Music] The summit also holds historical and spiritual significance. You’ll find the remains of an ancient fortress that played a role in battles against the British. There’s also a Shiva temple at the top, where trekkers can rest and soak in the landscape. At the base, near Kalavara Village, you’ll find the Papagni Temple, dedicated to Goddess Parvati, which adds a spiritual touch to this adventure.
[Music] [Music] [Music] he he [Music] [Music] after an hour at the top we were completely covered in the clouds the Mist is so thick and the breeze was so fast so it was very scary at the top as well so be careful guys when you're visiting don't stand at the edge of the stones to take the pictures so it's it would be very dangerous during these times and the view which you can see from here is nothing but the "Nandi Hills" [Music] [Music] [Music] hold St so the descending the trial isn't as easy as it seems the rocky uneven path requires careful steps it's best to start descending before 9:00 a.m. to avoid the heat while the truck isn't very long it can be challenging with steep, rocky patches and sudden ascents and descents. and the best The best time to visit is between October and February, when the weather is cool and the landscape lush.
Summer night treks are also enjoyable, but it’s best to avoid the rainy season as the trails become slippery. This is the Shiva Temple at the top of the Hill [Music] All right friends that's a wrap for this video the sunrise Trek is not just an adventure but an experience that stays with you it is a mix of Nature's beauty and a bit of history and a touch of spirituality if you found this video helpful share it with your friends and drop any questions in the comments if you're planning to visit skandagiri I strongly recommend the early slot the post Sunrise slots are available but the magic of golden hours is unmatched after the sunrise you will have to descend by 9 Am ..as guides ensures everyone safety and timely return The descent offers a chance to see the trail that was hidden in darkness earlier. it's a steep and Rocky so tread carefully .. So finally bhaskar push for the trek of what 3 weeks finally got succeeded.. Finally, kudos to the Karnataka Tourism Department
for maintaining this beautiful spot so well. It’s an effort worth appreciating! I hope you enjoyed this journey as much as I did. If you have any unexplored favorite spots, drop them in the comments below who knows it might be our next destination.. Thank you for watching [Music]
