Road Trip Across America: Part 2
This past Christmas me and my fiancé decided to go on a road trip. We drove across the country through 16 states and this is our adventure! So basically what happened last night was after the alarms went off and the police were outside a room door I asked them what happened and they told me they were running a wellness check on the guests across from us because she was the last person that was seen with the guy who they had just arrested that was running around naked and pulling the fire alarms in the hotel. Looks like he was high off his mind and had to go to the hospital but couldn't give out his name so I guess the guest was also on drugs too because she didn't answer the door until maybe 40 minutes later. What happened to them I have no idea. Welcome to Kansas! Might be the ugliest place we've seen so far It just sucks that there's not a lot of energy here like it's like it's eerie I see no people there's no people this is awesome wow It's a big stadium! The chiefs have a special place in my heart since they were my first NFL game that I worked for. look it's so scary! Wow! oh my god it's super abandoned honey that's probably from the it's from the 1800s the trees are living inside of the house there's no one anywhere I know it's so creepy I feel like all the houses are abandoned. it's Methodist church
there's only one person with those Christmas lights they look normal they look like a normal family you know like this this house like what the hell is this they have a bar I'm guessing is that a bar it's called sidetracked again we get a couple of these beers my car has some snow look at that well there's St. Louis Missouri I will say I like St. Louis better I was not a big fan of Missouri as a whole but I really did like St Louis. St. Louis is nice I got good vibes there yeah I felt like there was culture and like people were nice yeah nice architecture nice architecture and it snowed when we were there so that was nice. the beginning of Illinois it's not that pretty.
driving down these roads makes me want to go shoot a deer what!? Luke is going to go poop right here in Indiana The restrooms the ones that say welcome center on the signs of the roads those have cleaner bathrooms those usually have uh a sign you know to get to know the state that you're driving to so now we know for next time First white Christmas and it was good Thank you Lexington you gave me a nice white Christmas yep but this is how Christmas is supposed to be it's supposed to be cold yeah and it's supposed to be covered in snow with gunshots going off in the background I don't think that was a gun shot yeah that was a back fire yeah all right we'll see you! bar honky tonk saloon honky tonk saloon the reason why we always now check because we've learned our lesson I always checked that was the first time you checked now I'm checking because I'm scared In the last hotel that we were supposed to stay at There was actually bed bugs I've never seen a bed bug in my life until Luke checked and then showed it to me so now I'm paranoid and I make him check every single time this room is not clean finally made it to bed we're pretty exhausted um today in the afternoon really we drove through um Kentucky Tennessee and Alabama and tomorrow I'm excited to see Louisiana and New Orleans I've never been so that's going to be fun but I'm so tired I'm so happy to be in bed and in a clean bed! we went from like the desert the rocky mountains the appalachian mountains and now we're close to the gulf so imagine no cars with this little horsey and then this is where you live and you go to church right there The French ruled, then the Spanish ruled oh i got a microwave oh this is cute i like the couch i like that that's cute now I checked the left side it's great perfect We made it to baton rouge and you know what we will learn if it's not a Hilton it's not a hotel they're soft they're chewy and they're warm they're so good thank you all right honey what did you think of louisiana it's good New Orleans was the best I love New Orleans that was really fun and our food last night was kind of crazy We had some fried alligator Fried alligator bites is awesome all right with the little star i guess for the cowboys i don't know i guess i don't know houston texas you ugly well it's raining well austin for the little that we saw i like it even though it's raining it's really cold and it's dark really dark so and we're obviously just ex exhausted from the drive especially this guy this guy had a rough day a big river right here they're not going to last long because of that all those animals will be dead by new year national museum of the pacific war you know the only good thing you know obviously we wear the mask so we don't get ***** but we also wear the mask so we stay warm when it's probably 33 degrees but here in Texas it's hail it's hailing all right so let's go attempt to get the line to get some gas going on some gasolina it's really slick i can feel the car moving in the wrong direction wow I've never been in a winter storm you're literally in a winter storm I know you're seeing snow again this time in a car sorry sweetie you get two back-to-back tough drives yeah this is kind of scary I wouldn't be able to drive this pure ice, snowing yeah and this isn't even four-wheel drive but it is it is really cool i've never seen something like this before like i've never been in a winter storm like this especially driving and in the middle of nowhere Texas land so we're stuck huh yeah well how long are we gonna be stuck here for I don't know but this that's what did it so we're stuck in the middle of nowhere Texas um I think in between I don't even know the town hopefully we're not stuck here for a very long time and spend the night in our car yeah we'll run out of gas at that point and then when we'll be here in the cold two blankets and freezing our asses off that'll be new years 2021 no that's that's not gonna happen it's not gonna happen hopefully they come and fix whatever's happening and we're not stuck here for a very long time hey we're moving we're moving yeah yeah we're gonna get stuck there we don't want to be those people that get stuck. We already got stuck here just because everyone else does it doesn't mean it's the way to go I mean if enough of these trucks go it's going to be pretty easy and they're starting to clear up where are you guys at? we are in the middle of nowhere this is crazy this is way worse than colorado you're doing great sweet pie this is way worse than colorado oh my gosh oh a baby! Wow this is how we're all spending new years stuck oh that car kept going oh no! this is not good we're stuck we're currently stuck Lukas is talking to the guy over there these guys are stuck these guys are stuck those guys over there are stuck those two are of course stuck as you can tell yeah that's where we are right now currently 5:57 and it's 31 I'm currently freaking out because we're going to lose light soon since it's 5 57 like the sun is supposed to set like in 30 minutes unless the sky's gonna stay like this I don't know I've never been in something like this before so this is kind of all new to me and I'm not gonna lie to you I have major anxiety right now major major anxiety I need Luke to come back and let me know what's going on They're trying to get this guy unstuck this guy I don't know if you can see he went to go pee over there that's so funny while all this is happening over here this is so crazy it's official we're stuck it's dark already 6:28 they're all stuck we're stuck I think someone decided to make a fire I just see lights I think someone's making a fire over there they're like oh we're stuck I'm stuck in the car and I need to pee so bad I just want to get out of here already it's seven and it's pitch dark and we're still stuck hey sweetie Do me a favor use my phone call 9-1-1 and tell them where we are and tell them we've got families and we're stuck and we need to we need somebody to come out and clear out the road for us but where are we though uh Try to use the location on my phone okay I'm gonna try keep this close to keep the heat in just in case okay but just call 911 do the best you can Just in case this doesn't work I want to make sure because there's kids out here too okay we got unstuck but now we're driving this road and everyone that's going east is stuck they're not moving at all well we're going away from the storm they're going into the storm yeah they're going into the storm we're going away Like you made it out of the storm yay across that border it's the land of Mexico that's so cool it's really neat to see that the end of America though we've been driving all over the place and here's the edge or the edges see those cars are in Mexico yeah those people are driving in Mexico in a different country completely different country just that close to us isn't that crazy I think it's really cool well they have this in every country you've got borders it's just neat seeing it you know they've got the barbed wire welcome to beautiful downtown El Paso that's a detention facility wow there's a jail already this is probably one of the most deserted we've been to so many downtowns and this one is one of a kind not one of the better ones it's weird because it's like a big city vibe this big area but it's like a small town downtown there's people here and there's a cat cheers guys to 2021 to life is so much fun to life is so much fun in 2021 we made it to Phoenix last night and we hung out with um some friends and then we went to our hotel and we did our normal checkup you see Luke doing it checking the sheets checking the mattress and there was so many nasty stains so then we go back to the lobby we try to get a new room the next room stains gross like little hairs everywhere it was disgusting and we changed rooms again this is the last room that they have in the hotel which is so weird to me I don't understand how it was sold out I don't know also super super dirty we had we then obviously we asked for our money back then we went across the street there was another hotel and this one was it looked nice from the outside but then when we got to the room super dinky super old the mattress was just like it like sunk in also there was like little tiny specks like little stains we're like oh we're not going to stay here either so then we had to drive to another hotel and finally this hotel was clean I don't understand how is it so hard to just get a nice clean bed a nice clean bed you guys so tired we're exhausted right now we were gonna stay a second night in Phoenix but now we're heading back to LA this was an adventure of a lifetime hopefully we inspired you to take your own road trip across the country thanks for watching see you next time you
