[Music] hi everyone welcome to the pilot traders hanger tomorrow we got a super super exciting day so remember from our last uh episode when we went to uh we were gonna plan a puerto vallarta trip so there it is it's tomorrow so tomorrow we're taking everyone to puerto vallarta mexico and we're all excited so this is the day before the trip and i'm gonna give you guys a small little tour on how it takes and what we're doing to get ready for that trip so come on in let's go okay so here we are at our hangar and there's mike working at one of our clients uh aircraft hey russ how are you good here's russ working as well see we're all getting ready yeah we're getting ready for this tomorrow i'm just gonna top off the oil a little bit okay doing a little final tweaking really good francisco's here how you doing hey what are you doing to get ready for tomorrow's trip so i am checking all over the oxygen mask that we have making sure we have the right connectors that connect to the airplane just in case we need to go high and everyone's got oxygen supplied to them so so there's kind of a little bit weather here up north where we're at and sometimes the clouds are getting between our flight path so either we have to go up high or stay low depending on the situation so we have oxygen in our aircraft so we're just getting these masks ready right yep in case we have to go above what so you want us to use it once we go over 10 but the regulation does say after 12 500. that's a 2 500 and the reason why i won 10 is because we have little kids right yeah and we want to make sure that they're they're properly well oxygenated so we just we're just taking care of our family yep that's so you know being being cautious on that better be safe then sorry okay good all right keep at it well come on hey mike hey dave what's up well just checking to see how we're doing on the uh aircraft for tomorrow's trip we're all set we're all set yeah awesome we got the o2 all serviced up for you and francisco i believe is working on your mask make sure the maps are in good shape and ready to use and uh we've checked the engine over after your trip down to tucson had that prop change we just ducked everything over again good everything looks good and russ i believe is just topping off the oils right now yes so you should be all set to go tomorrow morning all right so russ really did a lot of work in this airplane to get ready for this trip huh yeah he did okay so we'll go we'll go talk to him so we're gonna go talk to russ see how he's done we'll talk to you later you got it thanks mike so as you can see it takes a lot of work to get um an airplane ready to take one of these trips and we usually hear i take double the precaution because i do have my family on board so for me it's very important so come on let's go talk to russ russ hey dave good i see you putting oil in the aircraft is this a business trip no it's a family trip oh vacation yeah wasn't it a while ago you said you never get to go on a vacation yeah yeah see it takes yeah you know that only takes you six years no we um as you know we've got our own pre-flight checklist and a post flight checklist it's something that we designed it we go through the entire airplane check all the fluids check tire pressures check everything um took care of all the pulse lights too we had a couple of lights burned out for the night because you're gonna be flying at night so yeah so it's all taken care of yeah perfect that's awesome well that's what it takes to get like an airplane ready at least what we do to get an up and ready to get this uh trip going so we'll see you guys tomorrow morning as we start to take off to go to puerto [Music] vallarta [Music] [Music] all right so here we are with the airplane ready to go and uh we're gonna head over to puerto vallarta so i'm gonna head over to the hangar uh to get the family and get them boarded so we so we can uh get get moving so here we go come join me hey guys you ready to go put our yard off yeah yeah you're ready all right let's go let's get all this stuff out of the way let's go nicole get on board eric i can say more than that then nae yeah thank you all right francisco why don't you go up and just finish up setting up the cockpit and everything else i'm gonna do a quick pre-flight make sure everything we're still good to go okay okay and then i'll lock up all right okay one of the things i got to check for too is the cowlings making sure all the screws are in making sure everything's tied down properly these scallions come off quite a bit because the mechanics do have to check the engines and making sure everything's fine so once i put it back in just kind of double in triple checking so that all the screws and everything is in on the countings checking the nose wheel making sure that is tied and locked and just walking around to the second wing checking for fuel on the second wing and just walking around the aircraft to make sure everything is good to go women in aviation what do you mean [Music] after three hours in the air the pilot traders and their family arrive at the tucson international airport their first stop on the trip and the last one before they crossed the border to fly to the northern mexican city of irma seo in the state of sonora we spent the night here in euroceo and we are leaving now there's the uh hermosillo airport and we've just loaded up the aircraft and we're headed to puerto vallarta so we're excited and there's the family there getting ready to load board the aircraft and head it over to puerto vallarta be lots of fun you guys are you guys ready for puerto vallarta marcio yeah be lots of fun back in salt lake it's cold it is hot here november 21st hot as hell all right guys so after a very long three-hour flight on earth we have 14 minutes left uh on our approach there's a lot of very mountainous terrain it's a little hazy and it's very interesting it's going to be very interesting because i'm hoping um the airplane i think it's between those two mountain ranges there and then we're going to go ahead and land so echo and then what again through andromeda the pilot traders and their family arrive at the puerto vallarta international airport an estimated 70 of the flights arriving at the puerto vallarta airport proceed
