PORTAL TO HELL | Exploring Houska Castle, Czech Republic
Sweet. Foods likely a great gateway to, hell. Hey. Guys thank you for tuning in to amy's crypt i'm currently in the czech republic and since, it's such a beautifully. Dreary, eerie day, i thought i would take you to one of the most haunted places in the, country kosko, castle, this place is said to contain a portal, to, Hell I'm gonna explore, the exterior, where it's quite creepy. Before, we go into the castle but I'm also going to take you inside and, tell you all of its ghost stories and why this place is so well known as being a haunted location. Alright, it's. Freezing, and foggy and the castle. It's. Made so much more creepy by all of the creepy stories. That. Are you, know told about it and this. Forest, is. Creepy, in itself that surrounds, this place it's quite remote and hard to get to. Sorry. Guys I should actually know what. There's, nothing on it that I can read other than. 1987. I don't. Think no that's original. It's in this fashion. There's. A little bit creepy. Just. Speak. He cave. My, instincts, tell me to go inside but, now I'm like maybe, there's an animal living in there. Jag. Can't fun Joerg. It's. Just a, little. Cave. With. Some plastic. Sort. Of hole in the wall over there. You. Know what but, it's. Kind of nice in here it's, warm, yeah, so guys it's like what. Two or three degrees Celsius out, there and sitting, down with rain and. I. Should. Also mention. Just. Behind the scenes factor dating scripts we don't always plan the best and we get to these places and they're remote. The, lady who is staying with at the moment dropped us off here and we, don't have a way back and, so. It's about a two-hour walk, down windy, roads in the hills like, to. Get back so I, only. Just, sleeping. This cave I'm, not let's go back. Not. A bear cave but I don't know that it's wise going, into things like that near, a place. Where. There's. An underground, portal, to Hell it. Was warmer in there well. I'm, guessing how it would be pretty warm. Gravestone. It's. Not stains around I one, thing I should also note is. This castle has a lot of windows. On the outside but. I read. Online that a lot of them are kind of fakes and that, there's just wall behind them and that's, another mystery, about the car so I hope it, just has fake windows I just. Found something else that's kind of odd, a. Little bit cool little bit creepy the. Big. Rock. Here with. What is like a cave, house, I know. It's like it's been the. Cave has been worked, in and it has a door going into it being. It. No, and, just. Opposite, is this cute little. Chapel. We. Are never building, down here. So. We're currently in the chapel, and this is the place of greatest, interest to me because this is where. The, hole that leads down to hell, is, said to exist, underneath, the floor here so. This chapel and this castle, is, rumored, to have been built on top of it to conceal, all, of the negative, spirits, and negative energy, even demons that were coming out of it, so, guys I just want to give a bit more information on Oscar castle and its you know main story, which is below, this chapel the supposedly gateway to hell many, years ago sort. Of in medieval, times there. Was a massive, pit that was seemingly bottomless and, was very, frightening, to villagers because those always, sounds. Coming from it and it was said that demonic spirits, would, rise. From, that bottomless pit at night and just, terrorize the locals yes, later, Houska. Castle, was built and this. Castle was mysterious, in. Itself, it doesn't really. Have. A purpose, and, it. Has no fortifications. It's not on any trade routes so, it doesn't really make sense why, this castle, is here other, than to, cover up, this hole so, that's, the, rumor how many people believe that it exists to kind of track those, nasties, below, our feet there's other stories about this hole as well before it was covered there. Was supposedly, a deal made with prisoners. Who were sentenced, to life that, they could go free if. They would participate in an experiment, where they were lured down, into, this hole so, the story goes that as some volunteered, for this so they could go free was bought into the whole on her work just, to, see what they would see down there and, after. A while they, went completely silent. So. When they started to scream, in, terrorized, and agonize. Pain. So. They were pulled up and it said when they were pulled up that this prisoner, had, aged 30, years or more and, the hair had turned completely white.
They Were completely, in shock and, it said that they had lost their mind and shortly after they died so maybe. It's all for the best at this place, or a silver overrun covered up. Back. In the, chapel, and this is supposed to be built directly over, a gateway to hell and, it's. Quite. Beautiful it's a small room but, it has a very interesting history there's. Also. Some. Relevance, and, significance supposedly. To the frescoes. On the walls, that all of the paintings, on the walls of the chapel some. Of them have some meaning. There's. One over here of a female, center just behind me and she. Is left, handed which back in the day was supposedly a. Symbol, for evil, she has a bow. And arrow that she's stretching out, and. Then. There's a, few. Others over here as well. So. This painting only. Displays. A dragon. Which, is a medieval, symbol, of evil, and I, was, reading all about these paintings online which are supposed to be quite old and. There's. A lot of interest around them because these sort of, avian. Or signs of evil not. Comment, or do they displayed inside. A church or a chapel. See. Since, that portal, is directly, underneath. Our, feet there's. A lot of EVPs. That are claimed, to be. Captured in here there's also a lot of claims of people hearing, what. Sounds like screams. Of. Pain and. All sorts reverberating. Up through the floor of this room so. Maybe we should. You. Want to get down and press it into the floor jar. And. Maybe we use a ghost tube and see if there's any weird sort. Of magnetic. Fluctuations. Coming. Through this room. How's. That feel. Oh. Freezing. Right. Now let me have a listen. All. Right guys I've started for coding it goes to obsession I'm, just gonna walk, around and, then see if we, get, any magnetic, spikes. There. Was, just. One here, then. It spikes. Dick, spikes. Dick. Spikes. That. Was odd. Maybe Tricon closer to the floor. Check. This out it. Does it again. Initially. I did see it. I. Don't. Have, checking. Yeah. I don't have the check. I. Had. Either a yell or a goat or something. Later. And watch those magnetic fluctuations and, just double-check. That they actually happened I don't know that they need anything it just means that there was a fluctuation. In. The magnetic, field here that the phone picked up on. But. It's interesting. So. That's right now I'm in the courtyard, of Cusco castle and this very gloomy.
Jerry. Day so, it's, kind of a good spot to tell some of its other ghost stories, so, besides the portal, to Hell there's. Also a few spirits and creatures, are said to roam around the castle there. Is a human. Cross frog. Cross Bulldog creature, that has sinned roaming, the grounds there. Is a, parishioner a ghost of a headless, person, that's, often seen in this very courtyard, gushing, with blood then. There's also their disembodied, voices and, screams that. Are so common here a lot, of shadow figures and, poltergeist, activity, have. Also been reported, so other than the, suppose, it gateway. To hell there's, also a lot of ghost, stories and spirit activity said to occur here I might also just mention that. Supposedly. During world war ii this castle, was occupied, by Nazi Germany and there's, a lot of rumors. As to why they occupied, the castle it's not, actually, really well-known but, people, do say that they did are crazy medical. Experiments, on people here, and. There's. Also other rumors that they specifically, chose this castle, so they could interact with the portal to Hell I don't, know the truth behind those claims but there is a lot of Meishan as to why, they actually did occupy, this, castle. That. Oh. Thank. How old is the castle or when does it date back to ?. The load of goat heads is rather strange.

Since the castle was built over a portal to Hell maybe that is the reason for the demonic paintings around the castle. Though the place is beautiful but yet gives you a eerie feeling

They probably do have snow now. We filmed this one about a month or two ago. It was still very cold thought as I recall

Has anything bad happened to you guys while filming in these locations??
Hi Melisa. Certainly bad things have happened but not normally paranormal. On these trips we have been chased by dogs, followed by people, we have been mugged, been lost, been stranded, stuck without a place to stay for the night and had to sleep outside, and lots more. I wanna do a video on my worst travel horror stories, soon when I get home to Australia.

Starting from that odd looking small cave back then, I thought to myself, "I would go inside if that was me over there". Then you stepped in. In all honesty, I actually think that place was somehow beautiful and elegant. I love nostalgic places, despite the seemingly eerie and suapense atmosphere it may contain there. The wall of heads in the castle was really off, all those poor animals losing their heads for decoration and I guess to show what a great hunter the bloke who killed them was, gross indeed. She never respond but now it was clear as day and she looked at me like she wants to let me now that there was something on the computer and then she goes sleep again?? Hello Amy! I've been watching your videos since about October-ish and I have to say I love all of them! I showed my father your channel, whom doesn't believe in Ghosts/Paranormal but he was very impressed by the quality of videography and said that "it is done very professional." You're so good, Amy! I love watching 95% of videos that you post and wish you did a Q&A or Live Stream occasionally on this channel instead of the other one you do it on. Lastly, I know this is personal but are you and this Jarrad dating? I'm from America and would love to one day meet you. By 2020 I'm planning on going over to somewhere in Europe once I save up for a nice vacation for myself. Have about 3 countries in mind but only one is semi-European.

Hard to say. It is a protected landmark, so excavation is not allowed (nor would the owners submit to it anyway out of fear of releasing hell on Earth). The legends are very old and interesting. I would love to know what really lies beneath the floor of the chapel

Wow! This was very creepy. All the rams on wall and goats were unsettling. Maybe those screams were coming from those that were slaughtered there? And the screaming of a dog or human voice was also creepy and sad. The artwork was creepy also. Awesome video as always. Glad someone helped you at the end, especially the long walk and in the rain.

Yeah, we stopped in a cafe we found to ask directions when we still had about 4 or so km to go, and the girl said she was finishing and would be more than happy to drive us. We were so relieved because it was getting really cold, and it was wet, and we were so exhausted.

I normally get nightmares when under intense amount of stress - so not necessarily from the places I visit. But yeah, I get nightmares from time to time, sure. I also have had sleep paralysis in the past, too

Hi Allison, when I do explore, I typically rely on my camera recorder to pick up EVPs. The noises we heard in the video, could quite possibly have been an EVP (as some of them we didn't hear at the time of filming). But perhaps, I could have asked some questions. Thanks for the feedback

Romania, on the other hand, felt quite safe after doing it the first time. It seemed almost normal there - even the locals were doing it to get from town to town. In Australia it is a big "no no", no one does it or recommends it at all.
+AmysCrypt it must be a lot safer to accept rides from strangers in Europe than here in the U.S..
We typically try to find the cheapest way to get from city to city, or country to country. In Europe it was mostly by rail or overnight bus, same in India, too we have been taking a train between cities. To get to places like this, though (e.g. a castle), it really depends. Some are accessible by public transport, others are not. For this particular one, we stayed in a town that was approximately 13km from the castle. The person who owned the bed and breakfast offered to drive us to the castle, but we had to find our own way back. In this case, we just decided to follow the hiking trail, though it did take longer than expected. We ended up hitching a ride for the last 5km. We stopped in a local cafe to warm up for a bit and ask directions and the girl that worked there kindly offered to drive us the rest of the way. In India, taxis or even private drivers are super cheap, so we will likely be doing a lot of that to get to the actual monuments.

This was one of the most epic videos I've seen on the subject. Very good, both of you. We know there is at least one portal to hell, and it's supposed that Nazi's did dimensional/ portal experiments in the 1930s. Three Nazi bodies were unearthed, all of them executed. Do you think they had gone mad?? I know that far away from Prague, away from trade routes there was no other reason to build this chapel, other than to stop up the hole from hell. If I lived anywhere near there, I would have definitely helped build it. It would keep me awake hearing screams and goat bleats from this hole. And if I had children, you would wonder if the demons would kidnap the innocents. There seems to be a fetish of Sheep and Deer horns on those walls. One would certainly have to hunt for their own food out there. Maybe there was curiosity, lowering the animals into that hellhole. There is/are entrances to hell (https://biblehub.com/job/38-17.htm) I think the point of the argument, why do bad things happen to good people.... .sometimes we would be crushed by the answers we received if we were revealed the truth. That man that aged 30 years from just being lowered into a pit might have been shown some of these things, he should have not known. I'm not sure what building there were "fake" windows, but I've read that the chapel had thicker walls in the basement, to keep the entrance to hell corked up well. Thanks so much for all you do!

It is an odd location for a castle. Some people pointed out that the blocking of windows may have been to do with taxes on properties. At some point in time in some parts of the world, the property tax was based on the number of windows a building had. Thanks again

Despite all the signs of a demon lover owning the place, the castle was AUSOME!!! I liked all the medieval weapons layed out. At least if the dogfrogman appeared, you could defend yourself! They should put a hole n the floor so you can hear the yells n screams better

Think you guys might be wise to take some essential camping gear with you including tent as you seem to struggle transport wise to get home when investigations are finished. At least you would have shelter and could go back when its light. Would make good extra on investigations too :) or you could arrange a taxi to pick you up at a certain time before you actually go to you site of investigating. I get worried when I see you struggling to get back to accomodation. x

At 9:50, the man in fresco behind you... the one with the red robe, holding the staff...looks a lot like Jarred. The Nazi's occupying the castle makes it doubly creepy! The place is eerily deserted. Was there no caretaker? Ram heads make for strange decorations.

Great video. You def caught some interesting sounds and I daresay enough death or bad jou jou (spelling) has happened over a lengthy time, that paranormal must be evident there however ... DISCLAIMER - The following is personal opinion only :- The castle def didn’t look either historically correct or it was & it def was a front for something else. The clad and painted walls were Not lavish as was the chandelier you showed - very cheap looking. The room where chairs were piled in with almost no room in between was like a store room for a crappy wedding venue. Even the medieval themed dead animal wall looked ridiculous. If the castle people paid someone to fit out the castle in Medieval gear recently or paid an interior decorator say back in the Middle Ages (age of castle? I didn’t hear that bit) or whenever it was built, they got done big time. Negative space is as important if not more when decorating and wedging heaps of dead ram’s heads close together and following the line of the ceiling in a bad triangle shape was OMG!!! The interior you filmed suggested apart from that cheap chandelier, those venue chairs and the multitude of dead heads, that there was just empty space, oh yeah, I forgot, the small demon paintings (or maybe prints?). There you go - that def is modern decoration done by a (sorry) hopeless male (maybe). They sourced some demon artwork and then hung it in a space they could easily reach without hiring a ladder and this again shows lack of artistic integrity by whacking them all up bunched close together. Tourism in some of Europe really seems to be built on financial gain thru tourist traffic encouraged by fabricated stories backed up by cheaply staged artefacts and structures.
Hey Sam, the castle is definitely as old as they say, but it does operate today as a museum, so I am sure there are parts that are maintained and have been remodeled or changed. The upper floors in particular looked quite fresh in terms of paint and furniture. I doubt the animal trophies were as old as the castle. The murals on the walls of the chapel, however, are authentic and form part of the mystery about this place as they are so unusual for a chapel of this time. They are also unsure why a strong hold like this would even be built in this location, as it does not lie on any trade routes etc. Hope this helps clarify. Thanks for the comment.

This one is actually maintained and operates as a museum with daily guided tours. I don't recall this place, but quite often these types of places are operated by volunteers, a restoration trust, or local government.

last nite , while watching versailles, i realized that when a criminal died, they dumped their body into a rotting pile of bodies in the middle of the woods. who knows where those pits were located now? no tombstones or anything so they just rotted there with nothing for future generations to be aware of the spot. so where there are "haunted" or scary places in the european forests or "where the devil walks" i saw one clearing called that nothing grows there... maybe that could explain why....

Hi Daniel - I would say the surrounding forest was quite spooky, and the church knowing what might be underneath it. I have plenty more India videos, the Paris Catacombs, videos from South East Asia (which is where I am now) and then I will also be visiting a lot of Aussie haunts later in the year

I've been to a number of castles in Germany and didn't see what made Houska Castle any different other than the music in the video. It was cool to see a bit of history and fun to watch.

I noticed that you only give tours of your videos and explain it's history where ever you go to and that's fine, but try using the spirit Box the EMF device and ask questions with a recorder, I say it's pointless to go these places and you don't do any investigation. your videos seem to get boring after and it looks like you don't want to do anything.
Thanks for the feedback, Xavier. I do always give a thorough tour and run down of the history from all of the places that I visit. I feel like this is important to show and understand when looking at these places from a paranormal perspective. However, in many of my videos, I do conduct paranormal investigations. Check out my latest video for a really good one: https://youtu.be/cJQrSm_FLW4 For this particular castle, and many other places I've visited, it is just not possible to conduct a proper investigation. Unless you have a load of money to burn to rent these places out privately, which unfortunately I do not. I did my best to travel there, join a tour and swindle a little bit of alone time to investigate the chapel, though that is all I could get. I hope you can appreciate the effort this video took to film. It really makes me sad that you would think I'd travel all the way to a remote part of the Czech Republic, to a castle of my dreams and not want to do anything there. You have no idea how hard this place was to get to and from, haha. Watch to the end and you might get a taste of that effort. I thought most people would find it interesting to be able to check this place out given they will likely never get the opportunity to see it for themselves. Cheers.

Thanks for watching and commenting, Drastic. The phone can actually detect fluctuations in magnetic fields. Most modern phones have an in-built magnetometer which is used by apps like Google Maps etc. to detect direction (kinda like a compass). Using this, the phone can calculate the strength and direction of magnetic north, which can be used to detect nearby magnetic interference. However, it probably is not as accurate as a device specifically intended for this purpose, but it does work. If I hold a refrigerator magnet to my phone's sensor, I can trigger the app to fluctuate to prove its purpose

Hi Mac. Thanks for the feedback. Is it all music you hate, or this particular track? I am always trying to improve my videos and my use of music has changed over time. For example, I use music during my story telling segments, but now completely mute it for my paranormal investigation segments. I also use lower volumes in my newer videos (this one was filmed quite some time ago). I find the videos are a lot more consumable if they have at least a little music in them, at least for the intro and exits. Would love to know more about what you didn't like specifically? Thanks for your help.

Hey Amy, the castle is in pretty good shape. Seems as if it is properly taken care of. Everything was well maintained. Even the sheets on tables and curtains were clean and in good shape which is highly unlikely considering castle's background and location. It maybe a sort of touristy spot. Just my thought though. Amy can u tell which has been the most scariest place u have been to, from where u ran away thinking there are demonic creatures there
Hi Misty. This place was definitely maintained. In fact, they operate as a museum and offer guided tours during the day. In terms of the scariest place... hmmm.. It is a hard one cause I don't scare easily. I would say my favorite place would be the Paris Catacombs, but not necessarily the most scary for me... Hmm... not sure!!! I will have to get back to you

I'm actually viewing this video because another video was debunking it. I would like to make a suggestion, and that's to stop adding music over your videos. It's impossible to tell if you added the other sounds into the video. Also, using an app on your phone is completely Autistic, and I would suggest that you stop doing that.

Thanks for watching my video, Lord Krythic! I add music and effects into my videos not only to add atmosphere and mood, making them more entertaining, but also to express my own creativity. I completely understand where you are coming from though and never add music or sound effects over the top of any 'paranormal investigation' segments in my videos. You'll notice in this one, as soon as we pressed our ears to the floor/used our app, I cut the music. Though, I am not sure what the noises we picked up during the video were, I do give possible explanations for them (such as being animals) and never claim anything in my videos to be 'paranormal.' That is left to my viewers to decide. As for this app, I'm not really sure what you mean by describing it as 'autistic?' While I do not trust many of the apps on the market, this is one that my husband and I worked together to build ourselves. For that reason, I understand completely how it works, though remain skeptical of it, as I do with any paranormal investigation tools. Cool to hear other skeptics are analyzing my vids to help debunk them, though not sure there's much that needs debunking in this one. Cheers.
