Palma Old Town Walk to Plaça Major
hey folks welcome back that's me just had a beer in the lenux pub here in downtown Palmer and we're going to go for a walk to the Old Town guys right let's go just going to turn the camera around and I'm not too far from it I can see a church ahead of me and in my other Vlog you may have seen I was in the cathedral and the museum area and that was absolutely stunning I got to say really do like the old toown here it's absolutely fantastic right so what we'll do is let's just go down and see what gems we can find here got loads of restaurants and and PBS here and shops here we can see like a little main Square in this church I was here in one of the other Vlogs so if you want to see what it's like on the inside it's really cool they got these really awesome wire sculptures in there and what I'm going to do is just head straight and you know what every street you go down it just looks absolutely stunning down there there's something in every street so I'm just outside the laa Cafe Bar and going straight so if you want to see what's in there oh it's shut now was open earlier check out my other Vlog on that guys so let's just continue down here so we are just in a little town square and I believe I need to kind of Walk This Way and then go right a bit I'm sure there's gonna be an amazing D whichever route I take so little statue here in this main Square it's what I like about Spain you know you can just walk into the Old Town bit and you'll find some really cool architecture and a lovely Street and how's this for a little town square Tapas Cafe you got all kinds of things here people just enjoying a bit of food detail absolutely stunning I believe I need to go up here let's pick up the action in a moment guys right guys I was going in the wrong direction there so back onto the little roundabout I meant to turn left up there I mean I'm always getting lost seriously always getting lost is that the right way yeah it is I need to turn left here right guys I'm going to have to navigate with my phone in one hand and then camera in the other hand just so I can get to the Old Town bit here but it seems to be a lot of people walking up there but check this out this is fantastic have a look at this wow look at that that's absolutely stunning right so I'm going in the right direction now there is a bit of a slope here just go up the slope and I got to say you know what I should have done here is just spent a few days here I could easily have just spent a few days wandering up these uh streets here absolutely fantastic need to go up here go this way I seem to be on the right road now there's probably multiple ways of getting to the same place but I'm just going this way oh wow look at that that is absolutely stunning look in there guys can you see that it's it like a little Courtyard that is beautiful wow yeah I think this is more my kind of Spain more authentic Rough and Ready I mean what a contrast to magal I mean I should have just come here for a few days right what I'm going to do guys is just turn the camera around I'm going to come back all right I know I said this in every Vlog every city that I go to I'm like oh yeah I'm going to come back and I will come back here one day so I can see it properly I think definitely I would come back here now it also depends on the weather here hopefully the weather's nice but uh let me just uh then the rod up a little bit look at that that's fantastic and like every street you look down you've got like a awesome architecture and balconies up there really really beautiful so this is a fantastic area I got to say wow look at some of the restaurants in here look at this one there just go restaurant there this one looks cool as well this one's not so busy there's some fantastic restaurants here there's another one in there I don't know if I can go in I can just the I mean there restaurants Galore here this is great wow you have just simply sport for Choice here maybe you guys can see some of the prices here pork climb with cabage 1690 that seems pretty reasonable another fantastic place there oh look here's a Hotel here Hotel three trees that looks fantastic oh guys I'm just going to have to come back here this looks absolutely Splendid down here reminds me of Malaga sure so I reckon I need to continue walking down the street and then what I'm going to do is turn turn right and then turn let's Dodge this taxi so turn right I've got to go over the park and then onto the other side which is where the old town is I mean that looked like I was in the old town there I mean let's go so I'm at this Big M Fountain bit here and I guess I got to go I got to go up there how do I get up there hang on is this taking me back to where the castle bit was no it's taking me somewhere else all right let's just try and navigate these streets here looks like a pelican crossing here I think I may have been here earlier when I went up to the castle Yeah I was but I went the other way all right well you get to see this bit as well too there's loads of uh restaurants lined here in this bit all the way down all the way down there see it and what I'm going to do is just cross the road here let's pick up the action in a second all right just getting across the road here lights have gone green I mean the lights are red but the green man has gone green right let's just navigate here the tourists around here I got to go up this slopy bit here looks like there's some uh pwn carriages here if you want to go get a carriage trip did I do that I don't know if I have time let's see I don't don't know even how much it cost it smells a bit around here as well right Oldtown now do I need to go up the stairs there or is that the castle bit I think that is the castle bit up there I don't need to go there I need to go up this way this is the Oldtown bit Yeah in downtown Palmer fantastic very busy here people actually there's lots of tourists here I would say and this looks like a very nice restaurant and hotel right let's just keep going guys here I think this will be a fantastic place to stay there's an estate agent over there and we'll check the prices of the properties here but I would rather stay here than where I am in magal magal is quite commercial you don't get a feeling of being in the real City there here you do it's steeped in culture it's not Parliament building there guys parament here are some property prices here how much are they 1.8 million 870 656 859 a bit off my price range here like if they had one for like 100 Grand that would be all right wow I think they were very expensive here seems like yor is very expensive especially here in the city center see some ni properties with like swimming pools and stuff very nice but very pricey I'm sure this Bargains to be had somewhere else let's see it'll be good to compare the pric is here with some like lanzerotti or even Grand Canario or tenie oh this looks like the old town bit down there oh I meant to go down there guys there's the old town there down the stairs yeah down the stairs I need to go down there okay almost almost Miss by turning there oh look at that one's for rent €1,900 to rent right show this is the Oldtown bit I just got to navigate the stairs here oh this is where it starts from and what I'll do is just navigate through here looks very nice very nice Boutique shops here get some bags and think so drinks we got Sam's here on the left and I'm just on a slight incline here hope the camera angle is okay yeah just loads more boutiques and stuff wait a second guys someone begging all right folks so here is the old toown I've made it here and look at this square look at this you got restaurants all the way around and you've got Patisserie Court there amazing building here look at that I wonder what that is I'll need to put it up on the map and show you what it is I tell you what rather than speculating on what it is or just sharing the name let's go inside I mean that would be the right thing to do right what is this building um oh it's a library it looks like a library um municipality Library there is the library there can I go inside oh M only us the only I can't thr in there it's most beautiful library look at that how cool is [Music] that look at this here they've got all these creepy characters you know look girls are having fun there spooky characters okay back outside right so what I'll think I'll do here is let's just take a quick walk around this bit in the old town here in Palmer absolutely amazing okay this is going to be my favorite bit guys I'm enjoying this part the most this is my kind of place here cuz you got the big Square here it's lined with cafes and shops and restaurants and people hanging out enjoying themselves meeting friends the families kids you know the time is 3:15 oops but I tell you what everyone's out and about and it's a great sunny day Sun's finally come out but it's nice to have these T buildings cuz we're nicely in the shade too at the same time this is an amazing walk guys check this out wow this is definitely my kind of place now what I could do is go down the end and then just uh maybe zigzag my way back cuz there's loads of like little streets and there's little streets that kind of come off this big Main Street here as well this Co Art Shop there as well that por old gasoline stop gasoline pump right this is very cool right I'm enjoying this I feel like I'm actually in Spain now and uh yeah very different from magal magal is just like a uh touristy area I feel like this is more way more authentic there's a nice Posh watch shop here if you want a tag or Rox you can get it there there's just loads of cool little streets like just coming off this Main Road here what I can do is let's do a zigzag walk where I walk down and then what I'll do is come back so this is a fantastic oh look at all those cakes and donuts there they look delicious really nice it's really beautiful the sun has come out now and look at this building there seem to be a lot of people here standing here uh looking look at this building is this one of the most famous buildings here in newor guys look at this I think this must be an iconic building I think it must be a a lot of instagrammers filming this little uh building here but look how cool that looks that's like the most beautiful building I've ever seen absolutely stunning wow that is cool what is that like a sweet shop or something there must be something there's loads of people here just like filming it you see really beautiful part yeah okay I think I'm sold this is the most beautiful building I've ever seen i b a apartment up there that one there see the one with the windows that wrap around the balcony yeah that would be amazing wow absolutely fantastic look at that is absolutely spectacular this is a fantastic area I'm loving this all right what we're going to do is there's a little town square just over there I think I got to go and film that let's go and film that and then what I'll do is try in circle pack I'll go in like a zigzag Direction and try just show you as much of Palmer as I can sorry for the noise here it looks like there's some building Works going on here as well at the same time and this is just a fantastic walk I will do this walk and then try and head back to where the bus stop is so another beautiful little restaurant here yeah and that is fantastic now should I go down here oh this looks nice here was nice on the other side let's go back down there all right what I'll do is turn right and then left oh wow there's so many cool streets here to film I'm like sport for Choice here this is amazing what I want to do is film as much as I can today and then yeah I definitely need to come back here for sure I need to visit this place again so I can film it in more detail and I guess it's good to have this kind of scouting trip so I can say yes I want to go back there or no I don't all right let's just go around here guys I'm curious what's here in this uh in these tunnels is there a market here is there another Town Square I'm not sure but let's go and have a look around seems to be a lot of people walking this way so I'm just going to follow the crowd on this one normally I don't follow the crowd but here seem to be a lot of people going down here it looks like a massive Town Square oh wow guys wow look at this town square I mean that is a mega Town Square here right look at this guys this is what I call a Town Square she's absolutely fantastic this place is huge and you've got like restaurants and cafes lined all around it this is absolutely spectacular I got to say wow I mean this must be one of Pal's main squares hair it's absolutely huge ginormous and you got some places to eat here as well have some food what a fantastic area maybe I should just find a cafe a and just relax here for a bit I think that would be a good idea I mean look at its place here all right now the folks seem to be continue walking along this way I think this will be a good place for me to just sit down and have some food right going to put the stick up a bit here cuz uh it's very it's very busy here so just walking down the main street that feeds off of that town square and this looks like another absolutely fantastic area I mean guys look at this that is that is truly spectacular got like ice cream shops around here patisseries get some trainers Cosmetics Nunu sketches wow this is superb I'm absolutely loving this walk in Palmer today it is spectacular I don't know where this street goes I'm just going to walk down it because it just looks so interesting yeah and I reckon I found a new favorite City here I mean I really have I think this is up there with Mala I mean Malaga is cool it's very condensed everything is in one main area but this this seems to be on a different scale here this is amazing you even get a tattoo here if you want here a tattoo shop so we're just taking a w walk down the street here we got mango on the right hand side there a fantastic walk here I've got my rod extended here so yeah it looks a bit strange some people give me strange looks but that's okay no worries all right so this is a walk in the old town here in Palmer mayorca this is a fantastic walk how far does this Boulevard go does it go all the way up there in the end can you see that guys I don't know if you can see it does it go all the way up there this has been an epic walk I'm outside another church here Basilica the St Miguel s Miguel the silica the S Miguel hopefully I pronounce that right I wonder if I can go in here real quick let's see um yeah maybe I can I love to be quiet though guys this just some quick peek oops this is no photography there but only had a camera icon he didn't have a video icon he said camera but he didn't have a video icon so maybe that's okay all right guys let's continue here just going in this bit here walking down I guess I'm just going to walk straight down the street here I may as well because I want to see as much of it as I can before I head back I have no idea where I am load of shops out I'm not going to read out all the shops guys you could read that out for yourself pulling bear there you got par sh and yeah just shopping Galore I guess if you like shopping then this will be the place to come uh you know ladies if you if I have any lady women subscribers which I'm sure have a few on come do your shopp in here look we got like everything you want here oh mind grabbing some food let's see I need to need to get back and I need to relax for a bit and maybe do some like editing of other videos so maybe I need to get that done I also need to grab a bite to eat and rest as well all right guys I think that is me at the end of the main shopping bit guys so I'm just outside this Pharmacy there's a place called here called marab marab Bans are selling ice cream and as you can see people are enjoying this uh place here goo the go gour bar all right folks that was a walk in the old toown let's spin the camera around guys that was an amazing walk that was epic
