Right now, I am at the bus stand of Manali and this bus stand is generally used by ordinary buses from Delhi etc. And this is a very important place because the buses that go to the villages in the Himachal parts and naerby Manali go from here. Even the bus that goes to Leh is from here. So ultimately, if you want to go to the villages, then you should come to this place and you will get buses for a lot of places. Government buses. This is special information for solo travellers. This bus stand of Manali is very near to mall road which is main area of Manali.
But wherever you are staying in Manali, your trip should start from Hidimba Devi Temple, which is about 2 km away from Mall Road. And it is such a tourist destination whose location and the structure of the temple gives the real vibe of Manali. Your trip to Manali does not complete without coming to this place and this is Hidimba Devi Temple. This is a very beautiful temple and when you see the whole structure here, you will feel that yes, you will see an oldness of Himachal. You will see the devdar trees around and this Hidimba Devi Temple is settled in between them.
And when it snows here, you get to see a different beauty. I have seen that too, I have seen it without snow and I have seen it when it is summer. At any time you will come here, you will see beauty here. Hidimba Devi Temple was built by King Bahadur Singh of Kullu in 1553. Hidimba Devi was born in Rakshas Kul, but got married to Bheem, whose son Ghatotkach sacrificed himself while protecting Arjun in the Mahabharat war.
After which Mother Hidimba left her demonic form and did penance here. The clubhouse is located at a distance of 1.5 km from Hidimba Devi Temple, where there is an entry fee of 25 rupees and there are many activities to do.
Welcome to Manali's clubhouse. You can shop there, you can eat something there, but when you go a little further from the clubhouse and come to the side of the river, then only it is fun because here you can do some adventure activities, like river crossing is the most popular here, you can do that here. You can do it for Rs 200-300 and you can even cross the river on a cycle. You get to see all these adventure activities. When it snows, it looks very beautiful, there is an entry fee of 25 rupees here. Manu Temple is also located at a distance of 1.2 km from the clubhouse,
which is dedicated to Manu Rishi. And the name of Manali was given on their name. The temple is made of wood and since it is in Old Manali, you will also see a little old version of Manali here. Hidimba Devi Temple, Clubhouse and Manu Temple are on the same route in a way.
And it is located at a radius of 4 to 5 km from Manali, but the roads are elevated in most places. So, prefer to do this trip by car. And if you want to hire a car in Manali or book a hotel or take a package, for this you can connect with Etripto.in, which gives the best experience of Manali. And with services, you also get a genuine price.
By covering these three places of Manali, you can come to the main chowk of Manali, Mall Road. Manali's Mall Road has become such a place that it is very popular among tourists. Why not? Because when you come here in the evening, you can sit here for hours.
Just keep watching people walking, keep eating something. Because there are many shops to eat here. So there are a lot of options of shopping here.
And the rest is just the fun of walking here. There is something made to sit here. Earlier there was no chair etc. But now it is properly made here. So people sit here and spend time. The entire market of Manali is here. When you come here, there is vanvihar here. On the other side is the monastery.
If you go 1.5 Km up there is Hidimba devi temple, so this is a middle point It will be very easy to access from here. The bus stand is also here. And by walking for about 200 M from here you can reach Tibetin monastery. Where the stupas, flags and local people give you the feel of Tibet in Himachal. And from here, you can walk 200 meters more and reach the Van Vihar of Manali.
Its entry fee is 50 rupees. I have come to the Van Vihar of Manali. And here it is feel that you are roaming in the complex of Hidimba Devi Temple. Because you will see long trees here too.
According to me, you should come here on the last day of the trip. This is because you have time when you check out around 12-1 pm. So generally the buses from here go around 5 pm. So come here and spend time. You can walk comfortably. There is also a washroom here.
Even there is a paddle boat here, you can also do boating. You can also click a video with the rabbit. There are swings for children. There also a small cafe.
The place is very beautiful. But when it snows, it becomes even more beautiful. If there is no sun here, you will not be able to sit here for a long time. Because it will be very cold. If you want, you can also do jungle safari by cycle or golf cart.
Because this place is in a very big area. By the way, city tour and the itinerary and expense of Manali will be known in the video. The area of Mall Road is the most popular to eat in Manali. And in a little inner area, you can eat one meal for 200-300 rupees.
But recently, Kangana Ranaut's restaurant has also opened here. And in such a situation, it was necessary to go here. So we have ordered Paneer Tikka and Veg Noodles here.
It is very popular in Himachal Pradesh. So let's try it. Price wise, it is very genuine. The specialty here is the thali. It comes in veg or non-veg. The pahadi thali. In that, there are lentils and some dishes that are cooked very well.
It is not available right now reason for that, that is sold out in day. So they make it daily. And looking at the ambience, you will be very happy about this restaurant. So it is a must-visit restaurant. Now if you are coming to Manali so do must come here. In taste, I will give 5 stars. And in price too, I will give 6 stars.
Because it is a very genuine price and ambience is also very good. The name of this restaurant of Kanga Ranaut was 'The Mountain Story'. It is located at a place called Prini in Manali. And it is about 4.5 km from the main mall road. The restaurant is open from 10 am to 4 pm and from 7 pm to 10-11 pm. Today we are going to a place from Manali where paragliding is done.
Which is that place? And how far is it from Manali? We will show you. Let's go and do paragliding activity. For paragliding in Manali, we were going to a place called Dobi, which is about 21 km away from the main Manali. And in the way you will see many counters of this.
We have come here for paragliding, on this counter, and Etripto has arranged this. And here it is said that paragliding is done from the second highest point in Asia. People are seen flying above. We are also going to reach after a while.
However, the starting point of paragliding is a flain village 10 km away from here. And after booking, the car driver takes you up. And from here, the real adventure starts. Paragliding is about 10 to 15 minutes. The official fee of the government is Rs 3,500. But if you pay Rs 1,000 more in this, you can make it more visually. Whereas, the video costs up to Rs 500 extra. Whereas, the photo costs Rs 300.
By the way, paragliding is also done in Solang Valley. But whatever the location, ultimately, you should not miss this experience in Manali at all. So, the ride of about 5 to 10 minutes was over. I mean, I was very scared. It was my first time experience. But it was fun. Overall, when you are up, you can see a lot of scenery.
Although it is 20 km from Manali, but you can see the river, the mountains. In between, you can see those small mountain houses. The whole view is very beautiful. So, I am doing this trip to Manali with Etripto.in. And it is a very nice trip. I mean, there is an arrangement to take you from Delhi to Delhi.
There is a car, hotel, breakfast, dinner. And according to you, you can also customize a little. Where there are extra charges, you can customize by giving extra charges. And if you want it in less budget, more budget, luxury, romantic dinner, etc.
They will arrange all. So, I have given the contact details. You can contact and book your trip. But there is also rafting in Manali and now, it was his turn. So, we are sitting here in the raft and it is still a little calm. Here, the Vyas river, the beas river, is called by both names.
And we are going slowly. I will definitely do a comparison with Rishikesh. Because I have done rafting there also. So, you will see a lot of rocks here but in Rishikesh you won't see such. They say that the raft gets stuck in the rocks.
So, let's enjoy our way. Now, a dangerous rapid is going to come. Our raft is stucked. Rafting in Manali is of three types. First, 2 km, Second, 4 to 5 km and third, about 9 to 10 km. Here seprate rafting clothes are also provided. So, you don't need to take extra clothes.
So rafting is done and I booked the long ride which completes at Vaishno Mata Temple. If you are doing a comparison, then don't do it with Rishikesh at all. Because there is Ganga ji and the structure there is completely different and here is different. So, this is beas river. There are a lot of rocks here.
If you are coming in January or in winters then you can take medium ride otherwise take long ride if you are coming in summers, because in winter, it is for an hour, but in summers, it completes in 20-25 min because it is very flow, so must do this ride when you come here. Its your wish wheather you want to do medium or long ride, but I will not reccomand short ride. The price of rafting starts from Rs 500 PP, which increases according to the rides distance. On the same route, there are many points of hot air Balloons. Of which you can experience from Rs 1000-1500. There are also a one-day trip from Manali to Kasol and Manikaran, which are about 80 kilometers away from Manali and in this trip you go via Kullu, then you also get a little experience of it.
But beauty starts after Kullu on the way to Kasol. This is the parvati river and we are very near to kasol it is about 10 Kms from here. The water of this river seems crystal clear and green in color. And pine trees are around it.
It is very beautiful and a awesome view, it feels that Kasol is very natural in camparison to Manali as there a lot of construction in the Manali. But right now, only in main Kasol there is a little construction, but in the outer areas, you will see that raw. From Manali to Manikaran, you should leave from 8 am to 9:00 am because the trips are long, there are stops at some points and traffic can also be found, so it takes 3 to 4 hours to reach. As soon as you come to Manikaran Gurudwara, you come to this bridge, this means the beginning point and as soon as you come here, you will see the Parvati river right below and here you will see the upside-down smoke because there is a pool of hot water here. I will show you that too.
This is the same bridge which was broken just a few years ago, you think how up water comes that this bridge was also broken, it was built again and is now in a brand new condition. Guru Nanak Dev Ji had come to Manikaran Gurudwara in 1574 in Vikram Sambhav. And here at that time there was no means of fire and utensils, so by removing a stone, a pond of hot water was found in which he cooked rotis. In 1940, Sant Baba Narayan Hari Ji had darshan of Guru Ji and since then construction and langar started here which continues till date. He is selling bundles of rice in them, people buy rice from here and offer rice here and cook here this is beleive of here. When you have reach Manikaran Gurudwara after traveling 70 kilometers, when you sit here in the sangat - satsang, then you will get spiritual vibes.
Whether you want to have the langar here, serve there and after that you have to go anywhere and a temple of Shiva there where you can see people cooking rice, you can cook yourself, you can fulfill your vow, you can bathe in the pool and the skin disease is also cured as it said. It is very important place, Lord Shiv had done penance here for thousands of years. There is also a free facility to stay here and there is also a free facility of food. Meaning it is a place where you can come leaving Moh Maya.
I also met such people here who are telling that they have been here for a year because the thing here is that you will find the vibe here, you will find it here only. Whether it is in terms of beauty, whether it is in terms of spiritual vibes, must come. If you are coming on a trip to Manali, then take 1 day out and come here. Anyway, it is included in the package and should be included because it is a very special place. In Manikaran Gurudwara you must spend at least 2 hours in it.
And after that you can spend some time in Kasol's market. However, there is a trend of staying in camps and tents here, so if you want, you can also go for a night kasol. You can also go to the vashistha temple in Manali which is wooden build beautiful temple. If you want to take a small track experience, then Jogini waterfall is also the shortest option, Naggar Castle in Kullu is a very lovely place. The best time to visit Manali is throughout the year, but January to March to see snow and April to October for greenery and beautiful landscapes is the best time.
Even in the time of November-December, many times snow is found to be seen. By the way, 10-15 days less to roam Manali. But for first timers, three nights four days are enough, in which on the first day you can cover local places like Hidimba Devi Temple, Club house, Manu Temple, Vashistha Temple, Tibbetan Monastery, Van Vihar and Mall Road.
Whereas next day to see the snow in winter time, Atal tunnel or Solang valley. You can go to Rohtang pass during summer. In the day three, you can go to the day trip of Manikarna, Kullu and Kasol. On the day four, after check out from the hotel you take experience of paragliding, hot air balloon or rafting. If we don't want to repeat the same places in Manali. So for this, I have made a video on the offbeat places of here.
If you are planning together for Shimla-Manali, then you can watch this video of mine with budget itinerary whose links you will find in the description box. In a trip of 3 nights and 4 days, your hotel charge will be Rs 2,000 per night for 2 adults i.e. Rs 1,000 for one person and Rs 3,000 for 3 nights without any meal. On meals it will cost Rs 600 per person daily i.e. Rs 2400 for 4 days, Rs 8000 for transportation for one car means if 2 person sits in the car then it is about Rs 4000 i.e. total Rs 9800 per person. But after this, it will also take about Rs 2000-3000 by bus from Delhi to reach here, that is, the budget can come from Rs 12000-13,000 for one person. That's why tourists in Manali prefer to take packages because the package of four days is available for a couple for ₹ 15,000, i.e. ₹ 7500 per person.
However, some places in the package may have different itineraries from those shown in the videos. But the major places of Manali are covered in the package and you can get more information on Etripto.in to get the category, pricing and customization of the package. Whatever activities you do, apart from these expenses will be different. Although if you are a solo or budget traveller so there are many hostels here.
So you can also do this trip of here in Rs 4000-5000. Ultimately, Manali is still a budget trendy place despite being so popular and it is easy reach for North Indians and can roamed in 3-4 days. So donlt forget to subscribe the channel for similar videos and like n share the videos.
