My camera is broken, but the river is beautiful. I'm going to try to unwind it manually. Yeah, something's up with this. Mercury retrograde. It's our last afternoon here in Kyoto. Decided to have a seat by the Camel River. Felt like a very fitting end to
this trip. So, we've been in Kyoto for about a week now. What do you think about it so far? I love how you can experience nature and you know a city all at once. It actually revolves around the rivers and the canals. The accessibility to the river is such a beautiful thing and I guess you can experience what the ancient Japanese experienced before. So how does Kyoto compare to other cities that we've been to? I think when people talk about Kyoto, they say that it's overcrowded.
And I think it surprised us because there are parts of it that really feel that way, especially the super popular tourist destinations. It also depends on what you want to do. If you want to have those kinds of experiences if you've never been to Japan before, I can understand why people want to see these amazing heritage sites and they want to go to these epic places. But if you want to go to the more local neighborhoods, the quieter streets, there are definitely pockets of places that are like that. And it's been nice to
discover those spaces. Another thing that I really appreciated about our time here in Kyoto, there were a lot of times that I was forced to take things a little slower, like in the way we eat, because they prepare food in a very slow way. I had to take the time to do things more slowly than I usually do, and I really appreciated that. If that's what you're looking for, you want a more tranquil experience, I think you can also find that here. My favorite meals
so far have been those times where you felt you were dining in someone's kitchen. You know, just the personal notes that they add to the cooking, the local style of dining is, I think, an important thing to experience. Heat. Heat. Tell me please. Samos.
All of the biggest dy I've ever seen. It's chicken. It's okay. Meet you up. some sort of money.
You sure? Oh, In blueprint and the Okay. Oh Hey, hey, hey. Heat. Heat. N. Heat. Heat.
