Hi guys! Tung Chill is back! After videos about popular tourist destinations then today I am gonna tell you about means of transport om Thailand. Start now! Before today trip, we will have breakfast. Let's go! We are in a restaurant that a person might eat at least 2-3 bowls of noodles and we might compete to find who will eat the most. Dave has finished these ones and it's my turn to eat now.

Starting in 1992, the Thai government stipulated that all taxis must have a timer. From that, taxis became convenient and popular in Thailand. Especially in New Normal Life, all taxi drivers must be got 2 vaccine doses. And I have a note for you, when you take a taxi in Bangkok or anywhere in Thailand, remember to choose a taxi with a timer. Do not travel in a taxi without a timer.

And remember to remind the driver if she or he does not press the timer before your trip. When you travel to Bangkok Thailand, Taxi is the most popular and convenient means of transportation There are too reviews and ratings about taxi in Bangkok Thailand, both likes and dislikes. However, when I travel to any places or countries, I have a chance to experience a new culture then all things become wonderful experiences. Today I am gonna tell you about the formation and development of taxi instead of reviewing or rating about taxi service. Since July 31st, 1923 till now, taxi is more than 99 years old.

The first taxi in Thailand is Siam Taxi. Siam Taxi launched 14 Austin taxi cars and the price per a mile was about 0.15 baht at that time. From that, taxis were called as Rod Mile and at that time taxis helped the soldiers in the World War I have more income. However, taxi service was quite new and expensive at that time then it was closed in a short time. About 24 years later in 1947, some private corporations found the economic potential in taxi service model and they brought taxis back to Thai society.

But at that time, a taxi did not have a timer then the price was depend on the contract between a driver and a passenger. I am at Siam Center that is near to Siam BTS station. Siam Center was established in 1973 and was as Thailand's first international standard shopping center. Siam Center is merged with 3 other shopping centers, Siam Paragon, Siam Discovery and Siam Square that becomes the largest shopping place in Bangkok.

If you have a chance to come to Thailand, come to Siam Center as well because it is a favorite shopping mall in Thailand. Although, Siam Center went by 4 decades, it is still the most creative shopping center in Bangkok, it always has up-to-date trends and changes to apply to the demands of customers. Besides, in 2013, Siam Center re-branded itself as Siam Center The Ideaopolis. It became a place gathering art, fashion, technology and entertainment to apply wonderful experience for the visitors. This is a Thai domestic clothing brand - Jaspal.

The price is quite high to me and a T-shirt costs 1,000 baht or 750,000 VND. And I like clothes with simple, cute, and elegant styles. Or like this one around 1,500 baht or 1.1-1.2 million VND.

Very fit to me. In Thailand, the weather is too hot so these clothes are suitable and comfortable to wear. These shorts cost about 1,500 baht. This T-shirt costs about 1,000 baht. This full set costs about 2,500 baht or 2 million VND.

This is also a color like - green. This is a Thai designed fashionable brand for young people and I will go inside to see. These prices are also as same as last brand's. OK. Let's go to next shops.

Go upstairs. Here, we buy cards to buy food instead of paying at the stall. Ok common on. When I took "Chinatown in Bangkok" video, I ate this dish and today I will eat again.

Now I am gonna ordering 3 different dishes to eat for Dave, Thanh and me. I ordered 3 dishes for Dave, Thanh and me around 300 baht. And 3 glasses of drinks cost 200 baht. Then we spent 500 baht for our lunch. It's quite cheap and delicious when we eat in a shopping mall center in Bangkok. You should come here to try.

Eating and talking at the same time might make difficult for others to listen. I am standing at Siam Paragon. It is next to Siam Center. But there is a difference that there are more international and luxury fashion brands in Siam Paragon than Siam Center. Especially, there are too many international food brands and let's explore inside! This is a good market with quality products.

You can eat here or buy something to give your relatives and friends in Vietnam. Let's go inside! Now I will go to dried food or products to help you know more and buy to bring back to Vietnam. The first thing you might buy is tamarind. The second one is banana. I am finding dried squid to buy and send to Vietnam. There are too many products then I cannot know which one I should buy.

Let's see other products. This is a type of Thai cakes and the price is 89 baht so I will take this one. Let me check the expiry date. The expiry date is till July 30th and I can buy and send back to Vietnam.

These are Thai coconut candies. Now it has "Buy 1 Get 1 Free" promotion. Quite delicious and 150 baht for to 2 packs then I will buy. Go to the cashier.

In August 2020, CABB application was launched in Bangkok to design the new standard for taxi service. The vehicle is the prototypes of a London cab, to take a CABB, you can download the app. However, these cabs are designed larger and more luxurious.

In addition, in 2023, the system of CABB EV is going to be launched and they are 100% electric vehicles to protect the environment. And the next mean of transport I wanna introduce to you is train in Bangkok Thailand. This is not a domestic train in Bangkok. If you travel in Bangkok and you want to travel to other provinces, Hua Hin, Pattaya, Kanchanaburi or Chiang Mai, you should try this train once to see all beautiful scenery of Thailand. J. Antonio, a Portuguese photographer working for the Royal Railway Bureau in Bangkok wrote that the foundation of the Thai railway network was built in the 1890s and early 20th century.

The first railway line in Thailand was the Paknam railway, built in 1893 and it is now defunct. Previously, the Northern and Eastern railway lines were managed by the Northern Railway Department. The Western railway lines of the Chao Phraya River were managed by the Southern Railway Department. However, in 1917, the two departments were merged into one department called "The Royal Train".

And until 1930, the conversion was completed. From that, all trips started and ended at Hua Lamphong station behind me. I am standing at Hua Lamphong railway station.

It is the start and end of millions of train trips and is also a place to visit in Bangkok. Let's go inside! Hua Lamphong railway station was built on June 25, 1916 following King Rama V’s directives after the King travelled to Germany and was inspired by the beauty of the Frankfurt Train Station in 1907. Hua Lamphohng was built in an Italian Neo-Renaissance style and its name remains controversial to this day. However, it is sure that this name is older than Pak Nam station.

Thailand's Ministry of Transport is planning to develop Hua Lamphong with the aim of combining green space and preserving historic sites like building commercial centers, museums and parks. From that, Hua Lamphong will be introduced as a creative space that combines historical cultural values and developed commercial centers. In addition, the train lines in Hua Lamphong are still being developed and Hua Lamphong will become more developed because the Thai government wants to combine new culture and long-standing culture. I am standing at the ticket counter of Hua Lamphong railway station.

In addition, you can go to the ticket machines to buy. You should choose English mode and choose your destination and I am gonna to choose Rangsit train station near my Bangkok University. The screen shows in detail about time, seat and price about the trip when you choose. The next mean of transport I am gonna tell you is TukTuk. TukTuk is as a national symbol of Thailand and a popular mean of transport to tourists, especially Thai locals. TukTuk is the successor to the previous rickshaws, known in Thai as "Sam Lor" and the Tuk Tuk idea originated in Japan.

The Japanese produced this vehicle for the purpose of carrying people and goods in small alleys. The idea was then successful and spread to the United States and other countries. By 1960, Thailand had imported these vehicles to transport people and objects. The name Tuk Tuk is named after the sound of the car's engine. And if you have a chance to come to Thailand, let's try TukTuk. I am gonna take you to next place by TukTuk.

Let's go! From here to Rot Fai Market, it costs us 200 baht for 2 people. Come on! Coming to Thailand and traveling on TukTuk is a wonderful experience. And TukTuk drivers are super drivers.

As you can see, he drives quite well. I feel a little bit nervous on TukTuk because there is no window. Like here.

That's it. Should experience on TukTuk one time when come to Thailand. TukTuk does not have a timer then we have to bargain with drivers. To bargain an exact price, the drivers base on the trip from one place to the another one. The driver offered me 200 baht for each person from Hua Lamphong train station to Jodd Fairs Night Market.

Then I bargained with him that 200 baht is for both people. He offered 250 baht. And I told him that I only had 200 baht. Finally, he agreed and I am on TukTuk to the next place.

Today, there were 3 people in my ekip but Dave got stomachache and came back his room and there are only 2 people now, Thanh and me. We also made appointment with 2 Vietnamese friends and we will meet in the next place. I also got a little bit stomachache but when I went off on this TukTuk, I feel headache now. An unforgettable experience on TukTuk.

For more than a year, it has been reported that Ratchada Night Bazaar closed because there were no buyers. And today I can confirm that Ratchada Night Bazaar has returned as Jodd Fairs and was also moved to a new location to make it easier to find. Then today will visit this market! Behind me is a store selling burgers made by a handsome and muscular guy.

Go on to see something else. Then four of us are gonna eat Leng Saap or Spicy Pork Spine Mountain Soup. We're getting into a line to wait. It's a long queue as you can see.

In Thailand, queuing up is quite popular and it takes too much time to wait for getting into the restaurants. Everyone is quite patient to get to their turn to eat and finally it's my turn now. We are looking for a table.

I have just ordered a Spicy Pork Spine Mountain Soup for people. It is called as Spicy Pork Spine Mountain Soup and it's too spicy. Too spicy but delicious. We challenged to eat all this plate. We have started to go to the shops selling clothes and accessories. This owner has said that he was passionate about leather and the patterns here were designed and stitched step by step by him.

If you go to Jodd Fairs, get to his shop. If you go to Jodd Fairs and you also like leather objects, get to his shop. In the morning, the clothes in the mall were too expensive I couldn't buy and now I'm buying things at the night market. I only fit the clothes sold at the night market.

I don't fit branded clothes at the mall, but sometimes when there are discounts in the mall, I still hunt for sales and buy. So we already experienced an interesting trip. How do you feel about today trip? Give your comments below. Tung Chill thanks Tourism Authority of Thailand in Vietnam (TATHCM) for accompanying to me in all videos in Bangkok.
