then they said, access is denied here So, The history of this Kere Thonnuru in Mandya district is this pond acquired 2150 acres of land this pond was built 1000 years ago Sri Ramanujacharya has come here 1000 years ago and built this pond It's a historical place there are temples and lakes around there is a small pond here, you can see there is a statue of Ramanujacharya as well So, this pond was named as THIRUMALA SAGARA n o one recognizes by that name now they will do Pooja activities there during the festival seasons people also come and take bath and does pooja (rituals) here we come here to enjoy the PEACE really happy because literally there is no one here come and enjoy!!
