Hello from Kerala, we have just left from our international Kochi International Airport for Munnar and on the way we are going to see Athirapilly Waterfall . We are here all the way. I and my friends, friend's mother, are staying for seven days. They have come from Delhi, I have come from Kolkata, we will explore Kerala for seven days. From Munnar Thekkedy, Alleppey Varkala Kovalam, we are going to cover all these places. After hiking 500 meters, you will reach this 81.5 feet beauty. Behind me you can see Nigara Falls of South India. This is the biggest waterfall of Kerala, Athirapilly, which is obviously very famous for Bahubali movie because Bahubali. Many movie scenes have been shot here, apart from that, many
movie scenes have been shot here, but look at the views, brother, my mind is happy, I am literally having fun, we are completely drenched in front of it, by the way, Thiruvananthapuram is the capital of Kerala. Which we will explore on the last day and currently we are leaving for Munnar, so for the first day in Munnar, we are staying in Breeze Resort and let's do the room tour, come, this is our very [music] room, the bed is very big. There is a seating area here and the best part balcony with a view Our seven day trip to Kerala, we have booked through Way4Travels only, about which I will tell you further. We set out straight for the side horn of Munnar. By the way, Munnar is situated in the district of Idduki Look at the views. After covering the the garden by car, we will go to the National Park. On the way to Eravikulam National Park, you will see many amazing sights. You will get views
and also some view points, if you stand there and take photos and videos, then our first tourist spot in Munnar siteseeing will be Ervikulam National Park and for this tickets Rs 200 per person, these people take you through the bus. And then you are taken inside the National Park. If you want, you can also book a golf card, but you will have to pay approximately Rs. 7000 for the golf card. Eravikulam National Park is actually famous for the mountain goats. The mountain goats found here are called Nilgiri Thar. And people come here from far and wide to see the same and this will probably be the first national park behind which there is such a beautiful tea garden which we saw while coming by bus and brother, what a beautiful view if you are coming to Munnar. You cannot miss this place and you must have heard another fact about Munnar,
once every 12 years a flower blooms here, the name of that species is Neel Kuni, the correct spelling is Kurin ji but the pronunciation is Neel Kurni and Whenever that happens, when it blooms, the entire valley that you are seeing turns purple and at that time the views will be amazing. After National Park, we reached the Tea Museum. Here we were first shown a documentary film. Gaya and then the process of tea making in the tea factory. All the tea plantations we saw in Munnar are currently owned by Kanan Devan Hill Plantations Company and they also have a very popular brand called Ripple, which also has many tea varieties and chocolate varieties. And it is very popular in Kerala. Then we reached the Rose Garden which I am going to call Munnar's Mini Heaven because it is a very beautiful garden and here you will get to see not only roses but variety of flowers and the Rose Garden. Now let's go to another interesting place in Munnar, there
is another very renowned place, this place is called the Echo Point, obviously because here you will get a natural echo experience. Whatever you shout, if that sound comes back, . We are going to try and this lake that you are seeing in front is called Kundala Lake, there is boating here too, you can do pedal boating between Rs. 400 to Rs. 600, those are normal boats too, you can enjoy that too here. You can and today the weather has been so good that is why the view looks even better [Music] famous thing is the homemade chocolates so do not forget to try it. our next tourist spot is MattuPetty Dam which conserves water for hydro electricity which is a vital source of power for the entire district of Idduki. Yes yes this is a tourist place and in the middle of it you will find a very beautiful market. Where you can also shop souvenirs and the views here are 10 out
Rainwood aurum. And this is a very beautiful property, it is a little off but, so you have to come a little inside, via road, but if you want peace and quiet, this place is very, very perfect. Nar day two we stayed in Rainwood aurum and today is Our day three and we are leaving straight from here for Thakkedy, like Munnar, we are going to find it quite mind blowing because the views ahead will be fun and on the way, first we meet is Lord Ganesha, there he is. We bowed our heads and
went straight towards the spice garden, its name is Munnar Spice, which is the biggest spice garden of Kerala, it is a 55 acre garden but only one acre is open for public. If you know cinnamon then it is [music] then After the Spice Garden, we have come straight to the Elephant Park to meet this gentle giant and here you can ride the elephant for 600 per person, she will take you inside for 15 minutes. There is another program for one hour, it is probably 1500 rupees per person, along with the elephant ride, you will also get a shower where you will sit on the elephant and the elephant will shower on you, so this is all. Here
[music] Our biggest highlight of thekkedy today is the Perriyar Tiger Reserve and the most exclusive thing here is this boat safari which we are doing now, so it was a ticket of Rs 255 per person and it is 1.5 hours. And it is very true and this lake you are seeing behind me, you will not believe, this is a 100 year old artificial lake and right now it is going on, this is the month of September, if you come between January and March. So you will see this whole place like an animal planet because here all the animals come to drink water, tigers, elephants, dears, you will get to see all kinds of animals, but at the moment we are also trying to spot something somewhere or the other . Front seats are available in the upper deck because we had booked in advance. Online booking was done. So we would prefer that when you come in advance then online one day before. Yes, if you do one day before then there will be five time slots
for this safari. 7:30 is the first time slot and 3:30 is the last time slot. We have chosen 3:30. Just before the boat safari, you will be brought by bus. The bus ride is also of 10-15 minutes, so just make You reach 40 minutes before dawn and there we saw Sambar Deer and that too is a very scenic route because by then you would have entered inside Periyar Tiger Ridge. Have you seen that movie? You are getting the feeling of Anaconda. It seems that an anaconda can come from under the boat at any time. It is very adventurous. This is something to be done whenever there is a boat. This is the biggest highlight of the park. At night, we saw the Kathakali show at Navarasa Kathakali Centre. Here you can watch Kathakali and Kalari
shows here also. I would recommend that you buy tickets during the day itself because these shows are in great demand, stayed in woodnote hotel in thekkady. and let me show you our room. It was a huge bed and a TV. There is a bathroom on the left side and it is a very luxurious room. And we got a Huge Mirror and Check out the Bathroom It's Good Bathroom shower Area Toilet Area Kerala Day Four We have left for alleppey because tonight we have to stay at alleppey house boat and by the time we reached alleppy from Thani, we had almost half a day. It is expected that
the house boat checking is done at 1 o'clock, so no matter where you are coming from Thekkedy or Munnar, just make sure that you reach here by 12 o'clock or 12:30 in the morning. Go so that you don't miss your check in and it will give us a tour for the whole day. Will get more back waters here so let me give you a tour of my house board right now this is our very own dining room for the night here breakfast lunch dinner everything is served let's check out the rooms come come go this is the corridor area Here is our first room check this out this is the best part where is it Come on man here is the best part room with this beautiful view this is our first room come on you also see the washroom come here is the washroom neat and clean nice clean okay Now let's see the second room. The bed is very spacious. This is the area with the wash basin. You know there you
go here the second room again with great views. Check this out. By the way, in the package of house boat your breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, is also included. One more thing is let me tell you alleppey Backwaters from where this House Boat runs, this lake is actually the longest lake of India, it is called Vembanad Lake and it is also the biggest lake of Kerala State [Music] If you want to know about this entire house You have to book only one single room in the boat for a couple and if you like two people then it will cost you Rs 13 to 15000 and if you have to book both the rooms on this luxury house boat that will include your two rooms, mom's and yours. Breakfast Lunch Dinner and everything and the dining room also for one day will cost at least Rs 25000. Yes it's expensive and all the properties we stayed in
were very beautiful properties including this house board which is so beautiful and that is the region I booked them individually because when I was going to book the hotels here individually, I found them to be very expensive including the transportation cabs. Then we stayed in Kerala for seven days. For seven days, we stayed in our separate hotels for six days. There is booking in the properties and then the transportation from one place to another was very expensive. Then you know, then you have to transfer to the airport also. It was so expensive for us to see all the sites, so I
booked this package through Way4Travels. And our trip is going very well, everything is hassle free, till now we are enjoying a lot, rooms etc., hotel etc. are very good, transportation has been quite smooth, transfer from one place to another or because if you take a package then this Everything is included in all the hotels we are staying in, transfers for six days, then sightseeing, all this is included, our meal plan is also included, that is breakfast and dinner and this also includes our airport transportation, so taking this package is good enough for me. It was very good for us because we got to experience all that at a very discounted price and if I had gone to book the same thing individually, it would have been very expensive for me, so thanks to Way4Travels, we did it through them. I have booked the package and I have put their link in the description. You can also check the packages and the best part is that you can customize the trip as per your choice. After checking out from the house board the next day, you can go.
You can buy traditional clothes of Kerala in the handloom factory here. and on the way Jatayu Earth's Center falls and this is a must visit place. Entry ticket here is 295 only cash but I would advise you to come by ropeway instead of walkway. It is ₹ 315 and we can see very good views from there, so let's see Jatayu from the front [music] So this sculpture of Jatayu that you are seeing is about 70 feet tall in height and it was made by Rajiv Anchal. , who is a renowned film maker and art director and this entire sculpture is dedicated to Memon's safety. Just below the sculpture of Jatayu, you will see a pond. It is believed that when Jatayu
was going to save Sita Mata, Ravana Then Ravana had cut off his wing and it was here on this hillock that Jatayu had fallen and he was alive only for a short time till he met Ram ji and he conveyed the message that Mother Sita had been kidnapped by Ravana. Till then he was drinking water from the same pond, due to which he was saved, so now we reached JanardanaSwami Temple of Varkala and this is thousands of years old temple, photography is not allowed inside it at all, so whenever you come to Varkala. Do come here to see Lord Vishnu in the form of Janardan Swami. He is worshiped here and locally he is also called varkaleshwara i.e.
Lord of Varkala. So in Varkala we stayed in Ocean Breeze and it is a very beautiful resort. Now let's go and give you a room tour. Let's go to our room. The name of the resort is Saffron, there is a swing just outside it, look aunty is enjoying the swing today, let's take a tour of the room, this is our room, the spacious bed, the couch, also see the bathroom, come on, oh nice, nice and big, this is our beautiful resort. Now in Varkala, we will go straight from here to the beach. Although Varkala beach is known for its crystal clear blue waters, here you can also do activities like surfing, jetking. To me, this
place was just reminding me of South Goa, I don't know why. And here you can also do shopping and enjoy at the cafe. If you want to eat pure vegetarian food, then I will definitely recommend it . You can try filter coffee, dhosa and everything else,
Aazhi Mala, but the pronunciation is Aari Mala Temple. Most of the people make this mistake and say Aazhi Mala, not Aari Mala. And here there is a sculpture of Ganga Dhareshwar ji, which you are seeing behind me. Here there is Lord Shiva and above Lord Shiva there is also Ganga Ji and this is a 58 feet by 58 feet sculpture, so whenever you are coming to Kovalam, Kovalam is in Thiruvananthapuram which is the capital of Kerala, then it is definitely worth visiting Aazhi Mala Temple.
After Aazhi Mala Temple, you can visit Kovalam Beach and we are leaving straight for Shri PadmanBhaSwamy Temple. Brother, you must have done some good work that today is 15th September, on the day of onam, we have come on the day of onam, Padmanabhaswamy temple there are many rules for visiting the temple. For example, women are allowed to wear only saree and men have to wear dhoti. Just in case, if you are not wearing saree then you can buy it here. Yes, you can go wearing Dhoti, if you want, you can go wearing Saree also, then you can go inside and have darshan and after seeing the temple inside, I was shocked, I cannot even explain it, but whenever you come, Padmanabha Swami. Do visit the temple otherwise you will miss a lot This is a room at Kovalam Check this out Come this is the Beach and Lake Ayurvedic resort at Kovalam and see the room Yaar what is right There is a sitting area outside Let's see There is a balcony outside With this view, oh my God, what is this right, these ports take you from here to the other side, the restaurant of the resort is the same, I would recommend that you visit Temple in the morning so that you can explore the poovar back waters in the evening. Here
you can see the mangroves of Kerala while cruising on a boat. This is an experience to be had. towards Kanyakumari and this place is geographically blessed, here the Bay of Bengal, Indian Ocean and Arabian Sea converge, so think that this is a special destination, definitely add this place in your itinerary [Music]
