Don't go too late; it's dangerous no no no hey! no! this street is gangster street In this video, I'm diving deep into Saigon's infamous District 4 to see how dangerous it really is day and night hello and welcome to my channel so in this video I'm going to explore the most dangerous place in Saigon and apparently in whole Vietnam just in case I left my wallet in the room I just took some smaller money so I'm going to District 4 so we can see if it's actually dangerous or not so I go District 4, okay? they told me it's okay we'll see they have a camera I don't know about this one but I will buy something and I will be a customer so I think it's okay yeah, grab driver habits hi Is this area safe to walk? yes yes okay this area is about 80% safe okay, thank you so much guy said that most of the place is safe we need to find this 20% I don't like when somebody is screaming after me like that it's like 2:00 p.m and one of the guys was drunk I think smells good the main street is very busy a lot of street food different shops, restaurants it's very lively this place has very local prices 20k less than a dollar for a meal which is not so easy to find in the big cities you need...? I went to the store, because I was missing that screw and the guys in the store gave it to me for free very kind today is my 46th day in Vietnam and I didn't have a single situation That I was feeling that something might be dangerous everything so far was super mellow zero sketchy situations I hope it will stay that way it is a bit hard to walk in here but that's also many other streets in Saigon so the main street here is called Tôn Đản and exactly this area was especially dangerous during 80s and 90s no so is it safe? look, I say no now I just talked with one girl who didn't want to be on the camera and she told me it is really dangerous here that she was born here when I hold the camera like that it's not safe I think this is like a SOS phone number for people who have some addiction problems everybody's kind so far but one second, can be different we'll see so that time this place was run by the famous Vietnamese gangster Năm Cam his organization was based in here and this place was infamous for being dangerous but since that time there were many changes and this place now is considered way safer the main street is pretty okay but I heard going inside might be a little bit sketchy time to check it out water water water uh-huh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah uh walking inside, okay? okay let's do this at least from the back I look like a local because of the GRAB jacket these kinds of vehicles are extreme laundry is very cheap in here hello what? one? i don't know what she was saying one fruit, or that I'm walking alone? not sure some of the people are smiling and some of them they're giving me the look like: "where are you bro?" my Vietnamese friend told me that yeah, this place is a bit difficult because of those kind of small alleys this is a maze, this is a labyrinth if somebody will like for example take your phone even police cannot find them because this complex is very complicated and apparently sometimes you can get lost oh drying some rice and yeah not so many tourists foreigners in here hello hello, hi a temple all good in the hood I will leave the bottle here I hope it's okay no? but yeah hi how are you? tea? yeah just do it, yeah i I don't smoke but okay If they give - take walking around, checking I'm from Balan (Poland) I just had water, okay see you super kind, super kind oh painting, nice happy New Year happy New Year yeah tomorrow tomorrow see you, have a nice day you speak English or...? is it okay for me to walk here? walking? walking here? okay yeah okay or..?

Im just my friends told me, this place dangerous but not dangerous yep see you finished it was my dream to eat the kebab I came here, because I hear is dangerous no but it's not dangerous no you know who told me it's dangerous? woman back in the day before? before like how many years ago? 40 - 30 years ago ah, now it's okay no no police is powerful now you go if you have trouble, go to the police station you report they will support you all the way this is Vietnam now not back in the days they protect you more than the locals pretty nice i'm local, I know I was inside, walking all day everybody friendly gave me the beer, gave me the water before this street is gangster street this is gone, it is the history in the western (counties) they might rob you yeah but here... they cleaned all the bad people I give you my sticker, my YouTube channel my kebab dreams were destroyed so I went for pizza so the conclusion is, that place is in my opinion, super safe it's a very local residential area good prices for the food to be honest, it's kind of my type of place I regret now that I stay in district 7, instead of here the people were super kind I'm not sure about the barber maybe I was a bit overpriced but still even if I was, I got so many things for free today so I don't mind kindergartens in Colombia are more dangerous than this neighborhood and if you liked this video, you can consider liking, subscribing and let me know in the comment what do you think about this place and this video see you in another episode from Vietnam peace out I ordered a $2 pizza and the guy gave me a free cola he said: "It's for you, for free :)"
