Installing our new CV in our 4x4 truck & adventuring to the East Side, Moreton island, QLD Australia
we are Karl and Katty together we are nowhere bound touring we've been adventuring for over three years now around Australia in our truck and our Caravan sharing our full-time life on the road we take you to some interesting and unique locations along with sharing tips and tricks of how to make Caravan life that little bit easier This Morning I got up and had arranged with one of the locals thanks very much Clint who took me all the way up to tangaluma Resort which is about a 45 minute drive to collect new parts CVS and so on that we arranged to come across on the barge or one of the boats so we collected that today because of the bad weather they couldn't unload it and you know how it always goes nothing's easy but anyway four hours later and we're back and got our makeshift humpy set up and hopefully the rain stays away and we can get it fixed even though it's not ideal condition well so far our new CV and everything is going just fine touchwood it's been behaving normally I've adjusted the steering a little bit so it can't turn so sharp which I'm hoping will help reduce the stress on the CV when we're in sand and we'll see how it goes hopefully no more breaking had enough of that now we're just heading to the Eastern Beach at Moreton and we've just arrived [ __ ] wow whoa don't go off there foreign holy crap oh that just smacked the mirror wow wow pretty foreign kilometers 10 kilometers no way oh that's ten to tangaluma tangaluma and tangaloom is where the resort is that's right what is it it's the bunker hello well you need the torch oh my gosh that's looking scary we have just made it to the Rouse battery on the about Accord all the way up the Eastern Beach on Morton and we're going to go in and have a look so this was used in World War II apparently there used to be a jetty I'm down at the beach that they used to take supplies and the Rouse battery track which goes from here to tangaluma I believe was used to take supplies and so on you can only walk it now 10ks we're not going to do it today but we'll show you around the battery and see what's in there and it's dark apparently great great let's have a look you're going first oh maybe I'll go yeah yeah you go for us yeah there you go first I'm scared it looks scary it looks like zombie apocalypse okay oh look at the termite track huh oh I was ants in the fly midges in here right just a bunker and it used to have and that's drainage air holes we'd hope you'd have those yeah oh it's pretty sick I thought it was lots of tracks and that used to be the toilet the lift I'd say they probably stored ammunition in here oh look oh babies look at them big green tree frogs but look at the water it's just blue and this is the gunnery I'm guessing oh no this is where they kept the ammo maybe they just had people in the other one because they lifted them up here oh I'm not going down there yeah sure come on let's go ah they're separate so this was the ammo room all right and they had two separate rooms in case one got hit I'll get some other ones exactly the same I guess so you put the shelves in it and turn it you know what I mean it's like a rotisserie cool and they come out so that one's different oh what's this here and so this is just going to be the mirror I don't know I think so but it might be dark foreign look at the view amazing Kyle's excited what's that it's the same design but different windows yeah with big shutters get galvanized I'm guessing vandals don't um travel too far right nothing here Matt they haven't got up to this one so much which way all right oh there I can see something oh let's go and have a look at that first and then we can come back and have a look at the lookout it's the tops open maybe they had a bowl wow it's full of stubbies I'm guessing that's their water tank it's just full of rubbish stubbies and everything probably for it 100 years worth of now are they green ants those ones up there oh I don't know no they make it in a in their leaves oh yeah they're like folded together yeah yeah it's like some term or anything isn't it wow check this out holy Dooley check out The View wow ah find a penny pick it up all day long you have good luck with the glass yeah I found a penny one cent I'm rich did you just fart and I farted yeah oh my God it was good luck I don't think so excuse it to me I don't have a pocket wow look at that someone to build a fire well it would get cold that would have been there where they had their directions plate this is the view from the Rouse bunker look out incredible looks great with the blue water I assume they stood up here all day watching for enemies the same coconuts and a thong oh this is soft oh dear yeah good idea to check first wow they're just sucking out of camp oh wow this one there yeah let's do that one it's got rubbish a bit or something what a score oh my gosh it's actually it's all wood so and super secret ingredient super secret ingredient and because I don't have a container to put it in it's like from China That's well I think that's why Joe so this beautiful fish we were given from the fella who helped us out when we yeah he drove Carl up to get the CV and what is it Taylor favorite Taylor yum yum we are gonna enjoy this fish that is for sure look at that we're going fishing wish us luck you know what our fishing looks like charging issues we do have charging issues look at that our microphones our iPad not even real camera here no not even proper phones and stuff crikey Cal's starting to prepare dinner and he's cooking on the barbie look at this pretty camp there we go grass oh yeah what's happened you saying I tell you that way well you've got a bloody nose that's all okay who are you doing that yeah let me just deal with you you good death can be fatal no [ __ ] oh what was that animal no I'm getting out of here so we were told that this only fired once and that they actually hit an Australian boat I think it was the
