I Went to the MOST BORING Country in the World?
this is gorgeous I know you Lads trying to get onto your horn Pub in that yeah are there many poor people yeah wo I can taste that gold you know what I'm saying there's a flipping Croc right there man don't really fancy get arrested here in brunai if this video has offended anyone I don't care I am in what has been deemed to be the world's most boring country so of course I have to come and check it out myself and and see if it's true so welcome to brunai welcome to Bai and so I have kickstarted it off here this beautiful iconic mosque so Omar Ali saudian Mosk I think I got that right maybe there's no name on here either I'm trying to remember but anyway how beautiful is this like this is gorgeous and on the top that is gold but of course I've come at the wrong time cuz it's closed right now so I think it closed about half hour ago and I decided to walk into the center from from the guest house so going to head out from here and head back here all right that way so going to have a quick look around I say a quick look we're going to have a look around yeah give brunai its chance that it it deserves and so of course like most people I'm here in the capital band banderi Bean honestly the names are rough to uh to remember so hard to remember but anyway I'm here I'm in the capital and yes I'm I'm I'm in brunai man I've looking forward to coming here for a while and then I just thought you know what let's make it happen let's see if this place really is boring and so I'm going to go through the video and you as a viewer can make your own decision on that one however let's kickart to the video so there's a lot of people in the world that have probably never even heard of Bai and it's a small little country small little country nestled right on theth north side of the island of Borneo so you've got Indonesia at the bottom if you haven't watched my video on that one go and check that one out you got Indonesia then you've got Malaysia that covers around and then you've got this small little country it is small but it's very rich it's ruled by a sultan Hassan Al Bia and in brunai he seems to be very very uh highly respected a lot of people you know will have the pictures I I believe every business has to have the pictures of the sultan and his wife in the houses um so in the guest house it's there as well but yeah he's he's a very respected man he's a very very rich man I can tell you that he's worth I think about3 billion 30 billion has over 7,000 cars which if you were to drive a different car every day it would take you like 19 years to drive all of those cars one of the things that seems to keep popping up as a complaint from the country though is the fact that the Wi-Fi is so bad here so it's a bit random like I mean I guess everyone needs a bit of Wi-Fi you know I know you lad's trying to get onto your horn Pub in that yeah if you know what I mean but I'll be honest with you like I've had literally zero problems in the guest house I'm in I've had zero problems The Internet's been spot on I could watch any category I want now I'm joking I do feel like there's a few things that chip into this bordom part and like I said there's not many people uh around for you to interact with which I think is one the roads are quite well busy with cars but empty with people there's again there's not too many like kind of fun things that you can do like you can see a few of the buildings like obviously the mosque for instance is is beautiful and there's a lot of mosques here yeah because of course I believe two3 of the of the nation um are Muslim so and of course the passed I guess the law uh for Sharia law to be to be followed here in the country so obviously there's a lot of moss that you can visit but other things to do I really don't know so I know there's a river down there I'm going to head to the river and check that one out as well but yeah I'm not too sure you know I can't imagine myself being able to Paras around here or bunge jump uh yeah none of that so I've come to the tangan temple which is the oldest Temple or the oldest Chinese temple here in brunai how nice is that so it's a toist one not Buddhist but I wonder if I don't know if I can go in or not I'm not too sure right I'm in but I don't know if I'm allowed to film or not beautiful smell of incense like I a't nothing and these are well cool you've got the the dragon heads black one yellow red so yeah so that's the tangan temple something else to see obviously like youve just seen it probably take you like less than 5 minutes hey how's it going you okay hey how's it going oh there's a place right there yeah I'm going to go another gandas down here and see for like some uh see for like some decent food and drink and I honestly thought then there was like a can of alcohol but then I completely forgot yeah this place this place is no alcohol there's an alcohol ban it's criminalized like you you're not finding alcohol here or not not in the normal places of finding alcohol so on the way here we stopped like obviously in Malaysia um or parts of Malaysia cuz I was already in Malaysia and I was like yeah I need to top up on the beer quick here can smell some scrum Foods here I got my chicken rice sambal I think sambal is like like salsa I think so and then some some soup I'm guessing it's soup cuz there's a piece of coriander in there but I did for a split second think is it like a hand wash but this chicken that's buing is like it's like the king going to play right now yeah anyway I'm going to box this off and we crack on back out on the streets so I've come down to the Waterfront now and you've got all the boats around like a lot of these boats and stuff for that and straight away they're trying to offer you to go everywhere Oh I thought that was like a Tesco trolley then uh but straight away they're like offering to take you around and stuff so we go and see I don't I think it's this way but there's a little like Village just over on the side as well called campong so I'm going to see if I can I guess just go on hello brother hello brother it's okay how much you want to go the The Village and including to the mangr so you want to see the proos monkey also how much is this well everything around 1 Hour 3 30 yeah the cheaper price for you where you from brother I from here this local you're from Brun yeah okay are you from I'm from the UK bro UK United Kingdom the rich people also rich people I think rich people here brother in in brunai you know and this Brun we a lot people the rich people just the rich people also the sulan the Sultan's Rich family Sultan also yeah yeah yeah so there's a so there's a lot of money but in a small amount of people yeah is there many people here that are poor are there many poor people yeah there's many yes many those maybe around just 20 or 25 years or so we had a cheaper price maybe you want to buy some wood so now now now now this expensive it's expensive now yeah so we're going to do the tour and go see the probiscus monkeys maybe a crocodile maybe I will try try he'll try yeah I came to just see this Village and he convinced me to just take uh take a tour so I'm going on a tour now well obviously into the village first I think I think but it's like 30 brunai dollars yeah so it works out to like £18 something maybe about like 21 20 yeah about 21 $22 which is not bad considering it's just me like it's literally just me and the driver on the boat so I can't complain there I thought why not not much else to do here yeah pardon privary school private school okay that's a private school there um I've finished school though so I don't need to go but hey what that's a school like it looks like houses but you'll see like there's Flags like everywhere everywhere here like it's very patriotic I would say it's like K it's waving blessing but yeah like I say man like so far like the people have been sound like some people keep themselves in sou safe here cool a lot have been like really nice like just happy I remember when I I just got here like last night and I was like trying to walk over the road and obviously as soon as you hear I was shattered and as soon as you're here like you don't know where you can and can't walk so I went to walk and this lady blesser just stopped the car and just waved me waved at me to go across and she was waving like the whole timey yeah a lot of love for like people like that a lot of love yeah for people who are just nice people it's been blessed like and the weather's been nice no rain ah this is JY just see I don't know after this I don't know if there's anything else to do like I want to try and see if I can go into the MOs but obviously it's got certain times it's open but over there not I don't know what to do I don't know what to do there is a contrast even in this like little floating village like you got some quite nice looking newer houses and then you got some that look so run down like not as bad as like you know like Bader ones for instance in in the Philippines they I think they're in a lot better Nick than than them ones but yeah like obviously I've come here with the thing of like people are just rich like you know what I'm saying pardon me fire station oh there's a fire station as well just in case this water do doesn't do anything but yeah I've come here with like the the thing of it being just Rich do you know what I'm saying like you know you look around you and you say w there's money here like you smell you can smell those dollars you know what I meano I can taste that gold you know what I'm saying yeah like it's money yeah but then obviously people like this guy is saying yo there are still a lot of poor people around and when you see a house like this you know it I didn't think I see the Royal Palace and it's actually right over there in the in the distance with a huge golden dome but that's the palace and the place is massive like it's something like 1,788 rooms in so quick math on this if you were going to stay there and you slept in a different room every single night it was will take you nearly 5 years nearly 5 years to sleep in every room in our Palace that's that's mad imagine the amount of people you can house in there honestly and if any any people that know the sort and watch this video I doubt it but if they did maybe just maybe I could get like a an invitation to come and see the palace like that would be quite nice there like try to edit it up like really nice like make it look like cribs obviously not 1,788 rooms that's just long we'll do like three or four we're going past and there's a flipping eagle right here like it's clearly someone's pet but look go on chicken so there's a few monkeys about I don't know what that one oh there's another one jumping over there we need to get closer oh it's a probiscus you can tell the probiscus cuz they got that uh the todger nose I'm going switch to the phone so I can get a a better Zoom watch my eyes are glued right now to the water cuz there's flipping crocodilla in here and I really want to see one a I'll be over the moon if I get to see a crocodile I'm I'm yeah I'm happy I'm happy yeah like that's brunai like shot right up the listen yeah twice now I've seen eyeballs just drop below the water and by the time I get the camera around you just see like Ripples and obviously the water is too dirty so you're not even going to see the C for some reason I just feel like I'm going to see a Croc like like a Lilo just laying on top of the wall which is obviously not going to happen but I've seen the eyeballs drop but that's about it I'm going to try my hardest to capture a crocodilla Oh my days this is a flipping crocodile this is a crocodile just on the bank yeah watch this now watch the tail Oh my days I am gas right now I am gas right now look at that ah man this is dope we just going past I just see like the tail hanging out like Oh my days flipping Croc here W on crocosaurus I really wanted to go closer but I kind of feel like it's a bad idea at the same time I'm like right at the front of the boat now ah yo Bai you just went up you know you just went up that list you know not much to do here yeah but you got crocodillos up in here man like yo there's a flipping Croc right there man oh honestly I'm gas there like I seen Crocs about in places seeing Crocs like I swear the guy is like chucking more water out look at it I put it there you can see not next to this Croc here no way oh with a Croc look at that it's my pet yeah that's sick I took far too long chilling with the the crocosaurus to be able to go and uh actually walk around on the uh like with all the what they call it floting Village that's the one oh my days there's a going on right I thought I had like 10 minutes here to get into the mosque cuz the mosque is here again and it closes in 10 minutes but there's a whole flipping parade happening right down here right now oh my days I did not think I see this in brunai dope I'm going watch this if I don't get in the Moss then apologies but it's free light black T cars here man so maybe the Sultan's here we'll see I don't even know if I'm allowed here you know to be honest there's like barriers there the Poo are just here hi do I have to stand here or can I go just stay here all right so I got to stay back here but this is quite dope I don't even know what it is maybe I should probably ask actually I'll ask what what is this for uh what the giant flag Bai is known around the world uh for it's being to be the most boring country you heard this yeah yeah yeah entertainment here that's why they for boring yeah and I think this is the thing is no entertainment yeah lots of people around the world we used to You Used To Know interment yeah so you grow like this you know whereas for us we we have lots of lots of party music drinking you know I se a crocodile and now I in a parade like let me see the time yeah I Got 5 minutes until the Moss close so yeah I'm definitely not going to be seeing that yeah it's all for uh flag change now for the Independence Day so the only thing that I'm a bit confused about is obviously this is a big thing for for here and obviously there's police blocking both sides and then you've got some peeps just over in gazebo but then I'm questioning where are the local peeps like I've seen a few like oh no they go into the basement parking that's that building right there so I'm like where are the local peeps like are they working maybe I I thought you maybe get some time off of this I don't know nothing these are the kind of questions that a lot of tourists have when they come here a lot of foreigners it's like where are the people where are the people about half a million people here and yeah you don't see that many of them it has got to be the quietest most chill City I've been so I like that like considering this is the capital it is so quiet no horns beeping no people screaming no cracket running around the place is clean like there's literally like right now I don't see any l and I've seen bits don't get me wrong around on the streets in the river there was a fair bit don't get me wrong but it's clean yeah it's so clean just had to like wait on the side for quite a while to be fair I just wanted to see what was happening down here but apparently because the ministers are there you can't go down but they finally let me go along the the other side so I'm on the opposite side because again you're not allowed on the same side as which is Bonkers to me like you're a minister you're politician like I don't see why there's a big jump between actually engaging with people that's just opinion though you know that's just opinion but I'm going to take a picture anyway I I was meant to actually get back over by the MOs so I need to get back over there but yeah I'm going to have to walk the whole way around because the ministers are there that's mad so there's there's clearly a bit of a class difference I would say again I'm just guesstimating I don't know for sure don't hate yeah just I I'll work my way around don't really fancy get arrested here in brune hello you see the people are nice yeah look here we go hi nice one thank you man so uh here we go again there was one thing I forgot to mention earlier as well when I sh to The Copper cuz he said about going to I think it was something like the sh Museum and I'm like the sh Museum you know and he's like yeah like the fuel I was I don't care about sh you know what I mean and he said yeah but it makes us rich I said yeah but it makes Mother Nature poor so and then he agreed but anyway we got onto the topic yeah so all of that just to get to this point we got onto the topic of the prices so I wanted to know how much the fuel is here per liter you know cuz it's obviously it's well known at least for people who know about brunai but I'll reiterate it again that it is cheaper to buy a liter of fuel here than it is to buy a liter of bottled water crazy could you imagine that like in the UK and the US like that's that's bunkers like it's cheaper so it's about 85 cents he said so 85 ban cents so I think that works out to like maybe like 45 p in fact let me do the mathematics right now I've done the maths and that works out to 52 P per liter of fuel 52 p and I've been out of the UK for a few months now so you guys go figure how much it is costing right now to put a liter of fuel in your car whether you're in the states the UK Aussie Europe anywhere Spain Italy I'm trying to think of all the the country names that I see that pop up like as viewed on my YouTube Ain it Romania Poland like go go and check go and check how much you pay for fuel because this place 52 Great British Pence per liter is what they pay here that's that's my blowing here that's so cheap here so to summarize up brunai firstly I I hope this video hasn't offended anyone if this video has offended anyone I don't care straight up like that's oh wow it's thunder and lightning anyway like overall I'm going to answer the first question first the first question for so is brunai boring now I'm hoping that throughout this video you've each been able to see what's happened and make up your own mind for me personally I would not say it's boring I don't think it's boring I disagree with that what I would say is that there's not much to do so after you've done your first day of things so you do pretty much everything in one day then that's it it's it's all done so there's not much to do and obv when I was chatting to the police earlier you know the guy was saying that because they've grown up like this like it's normal to them whereas for us you know we yeah I ain't going to lie I wouldn't mind like a nice drink head to a nice bar chill socialize with people but that's the part that you don't get here and I think that's the I think the gutting part that that is lacking you know there's not much to do but again it's a different culture different country different life you know so it sound and to be fair they do have a water park as well which I wen't going to end up going to cuz it's a bit out from where I am now but also at the same time like I don't know I had to look and it doesn't really seem like too heavy for adults but I could be wrong like it might just be what I've seen but so there is a water park and then on top of that they've got obviously some beaches around on the coast and stuff a little bit again out of the way but doesn't mean it's not there so you know there's maybe two days worth of things you could do here but in terms of the place like it's clean it is beautiful like it is a really beautiful place especially here in the capital it's just stunning like it's yeah it's clean it's safe like not once there's not been a single time where I felt worried or unsafe or even close like nothing like that I feel like I could leave my phone on the pavement on the sidewalk right now walk all the way back uh you know to my guest house or wherever come back and it'll still be here or it be handed into the police like that's the kind of vibe I feel like I get here like it doesn't seem unsafe like it seems very very safe seems like people are in order I think that's the best way to put it yeah you know I've said about people already like I've seen a lot of good people a lot of chill people some people that keep themselves to themselves and then a few asses you know a few sausages yeah but that sound yeah you get it everywhere but overall brunai would I recommend you com in without a doubt like I'd say come here especially if you get the free Visa like spot on yeah but I would say maybe try and do like maybe two days max to all the piece of brunai watching this I hope you enjoyed it I hope I covered it as honest as I can as raar as I can you know I give my own opinion without a doubt and a lot of the time it is my own opinion so that does doesn't mean that everyone's going to agree with it but I've had to be like as raar and honest to show people what it's like being here because I feel like there's some things that are a bit not right and some things that are right when when you watch other videos about this place so I just try to have a day in the
